Woo woo QnA! Epic epic epic I love writing these. And I guess these are somewhat canon because I mentioned it in that chapter with Mari and Springtrap?
And happy 8th birthday to Fnaf, happy 11th birthday to my cat, and almost-happy-birthday to me!
Special thanks to MoonTheMagical, Qxr, mixsii, Penguimom, SomeRandomRobo, and Lydia-From-Limmet, as well as Jeillen who submitted hers via Discord. You guys are all such cool people and I'm so grateful that you read this story and keep up with its convoluted lore, while still leaving sometimes disturbing, always entertaining reviews. For real, reading those are always one of the best parts of my day. You guys are awesome.
Anyways, onto the chapter! Enjoy!
Chapter 84
Q and A, The Sequel
"Who are you?"
Springtrap frowned disdainfully, looking away from his book, I Hunt Killers, and down at the raven-haired man. "I'm you. Duh."
"Oh." William wrinkled his brow, giving this some thought as he gave Springtrap a once-over. "You don't smell good."
"Neither do you."
"Touché, future me, touché."
In the green-lit main room of Fazbear's Fright, where it is not burned down, what are you talking about? the characters bustled around, chatting with each other or simply milling about. Elizabeth and Jojo squabbled over who got to be the princess in their role-play, Malcolm and Evan plays with toy cars, Ruby and the other ghosts were playing a violent game of Uno, and Michael and Cassidy were swapping rock bands with each other.
"Okay, everyone!" Ghost walked into the room, clapping her hands for attention. She wore a hot pink hoodie and gray shorts, and her long light brown hair was draped over her shoulders. "Get seated, it's Q and A time!"
"What's a Q and A? Is that like quin-oh-ah?" Elizabeth asked, scrunching up her face and she crossed her legs on the floor.
"It's pronounced keen-wa." Evan corrected witheringly. "And that's food. Q and A means question and answer. Like the interviews Dad does with the newspapers. Remember when we got to be on the front page last year?"
Elizabeth ignored him. "I hate quin-oh-ah. It tastes like bugs."
"Don't worry, Liz, you won't have to eat any. You'll just answer questions from some very nice people. Is that okay?" Ghost explained.
Elizabeth scrunched up her face. "I guess. As long as there's no quin-oh-ah."
"Great! Then you're up first!" Ghost clapped her hands twice and Elizabeth was sitting on the questions chair.
Penguimom asks: My question is: what does Elizabeth think she will be like as a as teen? Describe her style, personality, friend group, extracurriculars, etc. Bullet-point is fine.
Elizabeth grinned, clapping her hands in excitement. "We learned what bullet-point was yesterday! I'll make a list!"
After a bit of struggling and some help from Michael on the hard words, Elizabeth had come up with a list, which she proudly showed to the audience, boasting each word with loud pronunciation.
ELIZABETH'S PRETTY LIST! DO NOT TOUCH.
-PRETTY HAIR VERY STRAIGHT NO KNOTS
-JEANS AND TANK TOPS LIKE MUMMY
-LOTS OF FRIENDS WHO LIKE STEPPING ON ANTS
-COOL
-NOT EVAN HE IS A DUMMY
-BEST ACTOR EVER LIKE DADDY
-VICE PRESIDENT OF FREDBEAR'S WITH DADDY
-BFFAEAES WITH DADDY
-WE HAVE MATCHING FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS
-LONG BATHS WITH LONG HOT WATER
-A PIZZA OVEN
-OH NO CASSIDY FELL IN THE PIZZA OVEN
-SO SAD
-EVAN CRIES
-ANYWAYS
-INFINITY MONEY
"Infinity isn't a number." Evan snapped, placing his hands on his hips.
"Yes, it is, loser." Said a distant voice named Maegan.
"Refer to bullet point number five." Elizabeth responded curtly, tapping the list with her finger.
"Okay, Liz, that's enough." Michael hurried before either of them could start tearing each other apart. "Ghost, read the next question?"
She gave him a thumbs up and read the next question.
MoonTheMagical asks: Elizabeth, can I play secret agents with you? I think it could be fun, you seem like an above-mediocre kid (and I usually hate small children so take that as a compliment)
Elizabeth's face lit up, and she thrashed around in her seat in excitement. "Yay! Of course we can! Okay, I get to be the boss because it's my favourite game, and you can be my sidekick. We have to steal Daddy's shaving stick and whipped cream that he keeps in the bathroom, okay? It's really tasty, but we have to be quiet because he doesn't like when I eat it all."
William's head whipped around. "Wait, that's where my shaving cream's been going?! I thought Michael was just hogging it."
Michael shook his head, staring at Elizabeth in shock. "You know that's not icing, right?"
"Yes it is! You guys both get to eat it every day and I never get any!" Elizabeth stamped her foot in anger, crossing her arms. "Now me and my new friend are going to go have some and I'm not going to share any with you, so there!" She stuck out her tongue and grabbed Moon's hand, dragging them down the hallway.
"Shouldn't we stop her?" Michael asked, turning to his father.
William shook his head firmly. "This is how kids learn, by making mistakes."
"Isn't shaving cream poisonous? The Poison Control people mentioned that yesterday when they came to our house after Liz ate the neighbors' flowers with pesticides on them." Evan pointed out. "She won't learn much if she's dead."
William pondered this new information for a moment, then nodded. "I suppose that makes sense. Go after them, will you?"
Evan nodded and sped off down the hall.
"Okay, Michael, you're next!"
Qxr asks: Michael, if u were to ever let's say harm 1 of ur family members to point it goes beyond playfulness would u feel any remorse at all? Also big fan of u for reasons I mustn't say lol.
Michael frowned, pausing his gum chewing for a moment to think. "Yeah, I'd probably be pretty guilty. One time I made fun of Liz so much that she cried all day, which made me feel like a shitty person." He shrugged. "I'm usually just telling the truth about them, like how Evan's a crybaby or Liz relies on Father too much. They're both pretty sensitive…like Mum, I guess. I don't think there's much I could say to Father that would really hurt him."
"Well, your siblings are pretty young." Ghost reasoned.
Michael snorted. "Yeah, but they're hella annoying. Charlie and Cassidy are half Evan's age and they're, like, a billion times more mature than him. And I get that Liz wants attention from Father and all, I do too, but I'm not going to poison myself to get it, y'know?"
He blew a massive bubble and chewed nonchalantly. "Anyways, I'd probably feel bad if they were really upset, but then again, they usually deserve it." Michael gave the audience a slanted grin, crossing his arms behind his head. "And thanks for being a big fan of me, though who wouldn't, eh?"
"I can think of a few people who might not take kindly to you in a year or so," Ghost muttered dryly. She motioned to the audience. "Ev, you're up next!"
Qxr asks: To Evan, why are u shown to be sometimes scared of the restaurant/hate it? U clearly can't be that scared cause of the products from the restaurant u own and u can't say cause ur brother scares u because a lot of times he's not even present
Evan shifted in his seat awkwardly, sweat pouring down the back of his neck. His gaze was glued onto the hundreds of pairs of beady eyes staring him down, hungry for answers, all expecting him to do something. His throat felt dry and scratchy, and he swallowed.
"Oh, wait, we can move somewhere else if you're uncomfortable. Here." Ghost snapped her fingers and they were instantly teleported to a sunny field filled with daisies and happiness.
Evan smiled gratefully. "Thanks. Anyways, it's not really the restaurant I don't like. I like the toys and the food, and the kids that come there are sometimes okay. Like Cassidy, that's where I met her!"
He glanced down at his shoes, demeanor shifting to a more timid one. "It's just…I don't like animatronics. They're scary. I hate how their eyes are sunken and glow in the dark, how they tower over me and could crush me in a second, their giant hands…" Evan shuddered. "I don't wanna say anything to my family, 'cause Mike and Ellie will make fun of me and Dad might be mad because he made them. I know that it's stupid, but I always feel like if I get too close, they're going to pick me up with their furry hands and eat me. I know that sounds babyish…" He trailed off, ashamed.
"No, no!" Ghost shook her head. "I totally get it. I've got a fear of mannequins, I always feel like they're going to grab me or stare at me when I walk too close. Ironic that I'm obsessed with the game about talking, walking murder-mannequins, huh?"
Evan scrunched his eyebrows together. "Wait, game?"
"Um, let's head back now, shall we?" Ghost laughed nervously, teleporting the two back before he could object. "Will, you're next!"
William grinned, rubbing his hands together as he flipped down onto the couch. "This is awesome. I've been doing a bunch of interviews with the news lately - fire away."
MoonTheMagical asks:
William, why did you want to make an animatronic pizzeria? Kind of an odd business route, but I'm not judging. (Don't wanna get murdered~)
William nodded, examining his nails. "Yeah, I've been asked this one a lot. It was partially my decision, partially Henry's. We both wanted to make something to do with robots, obviously, 'cause we were both engineering majors in college. He suggested a family establishment because at the time, Michael was…uh…"
"Did you seriously just forget how old I am?" Michael deadpanned. "Father."
"No, no, give me a second." William held up his hand, the gears in his brain spinning at full capacity. "Uh, I think you were three? Cause you're like…twelve-"
"Thirteen."
"Tomayto, tomahto." William waved his hand. "Anyways, the point is, Henry wanted it to be a family place. I didn't object, more people meant more money. I had the idea of adding food to make even more people come. We didn't expect it to be so popular, and the place just kind of grew the more freedom we had to be creative and add new animatronics, or whatever."
"And murder you…I'm a pacifist, dear, I would never hurt another person intentionally. Of course, if you just happened to trip and fall into my knife ten times, that's not my fault." He shrugged with a smirk before glancing over at the next question…if you could call it that.
mixsii says: hey willy woo ahahahahaha... ahaha... you can like stab me its cool haah and hey clara... ahaha ahahahaha me and ur husband arent even that srious i swear loll
William shrugged nonchalantly. "Previous statement still applies, though if I feel the urge to stab you, I'll let you know. And I'm sure Clara doesn't care."
"Yeah, I definitely don't." Clara muttered from the back of the room where she had magically appeared. "Especially because we're divorced."
Lydia-From-Limmet asks: I have a question for Clara, why didn't you push to get full custody over the kids? You know William is a neglectful parent, the kids don't even get fed properly, William clearly has some mental issues and he has to take meds (which he probably doesn't). The less you have to interact with him, the better for your own mental health and wellbeing.
"I'll answer this one for Clara," Ghost said, teleporting Clara out of the room. "So, the bit about custody will be explained in the next act, but to give you a hint it has to do with the custody tape in Security Breach and William manipulating a bunch of people, which is why she only gets the kids every other Sunday."
"She visits so much because Clara knows William can't cook and sucks at cleaning, he made her do those things. Which is misogynistic if you think about it, or even if you don't think about it, but William literally just doesn't like doing anything housework-related. Such as raising children. So Clara comes over and takes the kids to parks and restaurants, and William comes along, but Clara doesn't really object."
"I'm definitely going to delve into their past in the next act, which is going to be…uh, probably sad. But I'll try and include some happy moments!"
"Anyways, Ruby, you're next!" Ghost called. Ruby immediately stopped her discussion with Mangle and did a flying leap onto the couch, landing on her side and grinning.
"I'm going to, uh…combine some of mixsii's questions." Ghost mumbled, flipping through the eleven questions her friend had stated.
mixsii: 2. rubes pls kiss chiaca mmwa mwa
Across the room, Chica flushed red, averting her gaze from Ruby to her shoes in embarrassment. Ruby, however, just laughed. "Hey, I'm open anytime, Chickadee!"
"Shut up." Chica muttered under her blush.
mixsii: 7. myah i liek u but not with rubesy so can u guys break up el oh el and u can date me heehe also ducky im so so sorry you sound cool cause ur named after my old camp counseller but i liter4ally have no clue who you are im so sorry i stopeed reasding
Ruby grinned devilishly, whipping out her phone from her backpack. "I'll let her know you're asking! Of course, I'm pretty awesome, so it's totally going to be a no."
After a few minutes of texting, Ruby shook her head, jutting out her lip in mock sadness. "Wow. She's leaving me, just like that. I guess you're just that cool."
"And for the second question," Ghost chimed in, "There's a quick fix for that, if you know what I mean."
SomeRandomRobo asks: Ruby, why did you want to work as a security guard at an animatronic restaurant? Don't you have to have previous training or be a certain age? (Maybe Fazbear's is pretty lax about that) I mean yeah, lots of starter part-time jobs aren't the most interesting, but didn't you read about people disappearing?
Ruby sighed with a roll of her eyes. "Oh yeah, they are very lax about how old you have to be or your skills. This one girl, Amelia? She's thirteen and works as a decoration assistant. And I think it's illegal to employ someone so young, but I guess that's the least of Fazbear Entertainment's legal woes."
"I also did have another job before this. I worked as a counselor at a kid's summer daycare from when I was eleven to when I was thirteen, and I honestly really loved it. Little kids are hilarious - when they aren't pulling your hair or bluntly making fun of you, of course."
"Anyways, I've got a few reasons. One, I really like ghost hunting and true crime stories. I listen to those podcasts in my free time, and they're so interesting. I used to try and find paranormal activity with Raven in our backyard with handmade ghost-detecting machines. Never worked, but it kept us busy. I figured that maybe I could prove the rumors wrong…or right, and maybe even solve the case!"
"And two, well, decent pay and free pizza - who could resist?" Ruby added with a wink.
"Ha, ha." Ghost muttered. "Very original."
"It is, actually. Ghost."
"Well, speaking of me, next up is me!" Ghost flopped down on the squishy purple couch and played with one of the golden cushions, a pizza with a knife embroidered onto it, made by a very slay friend.
MoonTheMagical asks:
Ghost: I don't know if someone has asked this already, but what is your favourite FNAF game?
"Definitely Sister Location. It was the first one I ever saw, besides this one time a girl I knew gave me her phone, playing fnaf 1, and was like 'tap the doors'. I lost immediately of course. But back to my point, my first Fnaf video was the one of Pink Sheep playing Sister Location, and it was also the first Fnaf game I played, so it's pretty nostalgic."
"It's also, uh, the only Fnaf game I've ever beat. Night 4 was the hardest, but the rest was pretty easy. I'm going to try and get the fake ending, but it's tricky. I also love Sister Location just because of how different it is. The voice acting, the sleek designs, how every night is different, the story - all of it is just so cool."
MoonTheMagical: Ghost, follow up question to that, what Act are you most excited to write? You don't need to give spoilers just what game it is. (That is, if you want to. Unless you don't want to give away anything and keep up the veil of secrecy, that is fine by me)
Ghost grinned, rubbing her hands together with an evil laugh. "Well, of course I don't want to spoil anything, buuuut…honestly, I've got three. This next Act, Sister Location, and Help Wanted. I've got some really big plans for it, plus I've been working a lot on Vanny's character and I'm really excited to talk about her."
"Sister Location because…well, I just explained why, and the next Act for some reasons I can't spoil, but also because it, ah, deviates from canon quite a bit, but it's the only act that I've planned out completely, beginning, middle, and end."
SomeRandomRobo asks: Are you planning on covering every Fnaf game?
"As long as I have motivation, then definitely! For UCN, it won't be a full year-long act, probably just a few chapters and then moving on to Help Wanted."
Qxr asks: Ghost, what are some things u have retconned/forgotten/never ever gets brought up again and tell us why?
Ghost covered her face with her hands and groaned. "Oh gosh. I am very, very guilty of doing this. Remember Olive and Ginger? Probably not, but I made them, got better ideas for friends, and replaced them with Ducky and Myah. Then, of course, there's Ruby's mom's pregnancy, which was deleted. And then there's Foxy and Mangle's…relationship, which was deleted. There's a few plot points that got changed…oh wait, just remembered one."
"So, want to know the reason why Tulisa and Josh are a year younger? Yeah, that's because they were originally going to be Ruby's biological siblings, as in Steve's kids. It was scrapped pretty soon after, but yeah."
"The original climax for Act 1 was going to be William in one of those giant Voltron metal suit thingies terrorizing the town, which would have been…amusing, to say the least. He was going to hold Lily, Isaac (forgot about him tbh), and Abbie hostages. Then all the ghosts would turn human somehow? Then, the final chapter would be this 'where are they now?' thing with a wedding between Freddy and Bonnie. Yeah, that got scrapped pretty fast."
"For Act 2, Myah was originally going to be an evil robot, then sacrifice herself in an explosion which lit the place on fire. Very sad moment. Probably why it didn't happen."
"There's so many others, so I'll put them in the trivia section of the Wiki when it's finished."
Qxr asks: What is your favourite fnaf fan game?
Ghost frowned, mulling it over. "I don't tend to watch a ton of fan games, since there's so much lore to them and I think my brain would explode, but I'd say either Joy of Creation or Candy's. I just love their style, feels somewhat nostalgic and very creative. I've also been checking out Popgoes, after the recent…er, drama. Very interesting concept!"
Lydia-From-Limmet asks: Also a question for Ghost, or rather a confession: I have never played any fnaf game, I only watched a playthrough on YouTube and decided it was too scary. All I know about the fnaf lore comes from this story. Did you notice? Can you forgive me
"Wow, I actually did not notice! I'm honored that this is your first impression of the fnaf lore, though it's not always completely canonical, haha. Of course I'll forgive you! If you want to know more about the lore, I'd recommend either Matpat's playlist or theooftroop's video on the timeline. The second one's a little more silly, but it's still pretty accurate and a very funny video."
"Also, I'm guilty of not playing the games, I've only played the first one (very scary, quit at night 3) Sister Location (very skilled, beat it), Pizzeria Simulator (not very skilled, got to night 4) and Help Wanted (extremely skilled, beat all Dark Rooms and Parts and Service)."
"Side tangent, if you have a VR headset, Help Wanted is probably one of the most fun Fnaf games out there. Seriously, I thought I'd be scared out of my mind. And I was, but it was honestly so fun that I didn't care. Great game to play with friends, Maegan, and family, and laugh at how scared they get!"
mixsii asks: thisz is question for little ghost cat cna you pls do an arc abt me
"Perhaps." said ghost cat, with a haopy little smiel. She then made maefan appaear in ghte background of the q&a! (written by mixsii who now has access to the doc)
Jeillen asks: what are some things you want to write in the future? are you gonna keep writing pizza with the side of murder or do some other books too?
"Good question! I plan to continue this story as long as I have motivation, but I'll continue writing short stories. I haven't mentioned this here yet, but I actually got two of my short stories published in a collection book, and won Honorable Mention! If I write something in the future, it'd be some sort of horror/mystery story, since I love writing those so much."
"Okay! Last two questions, one for Bonnie and one for Cassidy." Ghost scanned her clipboard, reading over the questions. "And they're both from mixsii."
mixsii asks: bons kiss me mewa mwa also cassidy R U ME?!
"What?" Bonnie asked.
Which is also what Cassidy would have said, if she wasn't currently having an identity crisis. Was she truly her disguise, Maegan? Or was she Cassidy? The enigma of this puzzle caused Cassidy to float in the air, levitating up higher and higher until she phased through the roof, never to be seen again.
Then the same thing happened to everyone else, until they were left with nothing more than an empty room, with no sound except the occasional swoosh of wind blowing. And then, with a snap of fingers, the room was gone, leaving an empty black void only to be filled next act…
A/N
There we go! Q and A, done!
And that's it for Act 2! Lots of good memories rereading this. Here's your final question/challenge for this act: what are your predictions for the next one? New characters that might show up, events that may happen, all that jazz.
Have an amazing day/night!
