Humphrey: with enough effort I walked to Scoot's cave, due to how weak I was I fell a couple of times, but soon after I got up and continued, after half an hour I finally reached his cave, but as soon as I put a standing inside my body gave way and I fell on the floor unconscious
Scoot: I was preparing a pain reliever for Blaze, when he heard a loud noise at the entrance of the cave, as if something had fallen, "What happened?" I wondered surprised as I walked to the entrance, when I reached the entrance of the cave I saw Humphrey lying on the ground, I quickly approached him, "Are you aware?" I asked him worried while I was checking him, but having no answer, obviously not, "I warned you that this would end badly" I said with a sigh as I moved him to a more comfortable place where he could better treat his injuries
A couple of hours later with Kate
Kate: I was worried about Humphrey, he had already taken too long, "I must go get him" I said to myself as I tried to get up
Nova: I had just entered the cave after playing for a while with Katie, when I see my mom trying to get up, "Mom, what are you doing? You should be resting" I said worried
Kate: "Easy darling, I'm just going to see how your father is doing" I said calmly
Nova: "But Mr. Scoot and my dad said you shouldn't move too much" I reminded her
Kate: "Yes I know that, but I must go with your father" I said seriously
Nova: I was a little scared to see her serious, but I quickly thought of something "what if I go for him?" I volunteered
Kate: I thought for a moment and said, "Okay, he should be in Scoot's cave, but don't go inside, just call him from outside"
Nova: "Why can't I enter?" I asked him confused
Kate: "Remember that your grandfather is not feeling well and cannot receive visitors at the moment" I explained

Kate: I sighed and said "It's a special case, you know your father is unique in many ways"
Nova: "that's true" I said nodding, "Well it won't take long, mom" I said goodbye before leaving the cave
Kate: "Be careful honey" I said as he walked away
Katie: I was resting when I see Nova coming down the mountain, so I got up and ran to catch up with him, "What are you doing?" I asked him playfully when I caught up with him
Nova: "I'm going to my uncle Scoot's cave," I explained
Katie: "Scoot? I don't know him" I said something confused since I thought I knew his whole family
Nova: "No wonder, he lives far away from others with his brother" I explained
Katie: " That's curious, why do they live so far away?" I asked curious
Nova: "I'm not entirely sure, they just say something like we should not interfere with the lives of normal wolves" I told them, trying to imitate Scoot's voice
Katie: I laughed at his imitation and asked his somewhat confused, "Why do he say that about not interfering with normal wolves?"
Nova: "It is a kind of god or something like that" I said calmly
Katie: I stopped and asked her very confused, "Wait, what?"
Nova: I looked back and saw that it had stopped, "Is something wrong?" I asked him confused
Katie: "You just told me that your uncle is a kind of god, as if he were not a big deal" I said something upset trying to process it
Nova: "Well, he's not my biological uncle, but I've known him practically since I was born," I explained
Katie: "That is not the important thing, how is that which is a kind of god?" I told her upset
Nova: "Well yes, it has certain powers and it is supposed to be more than a thousand years old" I said calmly, since I did not understand why she was so upset
Katie: "That's incredible" I said stunned as she threw me on my back
Nova: "Are you okay?" I asked worried
Katie: I shook my head and said, "I just found out that there is some kind of god living in the pack, how could that be okay?"
Nova: "I did not think well how to break the news" I thought with concern when I saw her reaction, then I approached her and said to reassure her, "I know it can be a bit intimidating, but there is no reason to fear, both are good wolves, also if something happens I will protect you"
Katie: I smiled when I heard that, "If you say they are good, I will believe you, but I don't think you can do much against them" I said a little more calmly and ending with a joking tone at the end
Nova: "Well it's true, but I will become as strong as my father and nothing can defeat me" I said with confidence
Katie: "I know your father is very strong, but facing a type of god is another level" I said
Nova: "But my parents once defeated Scoot's brother who had similar power," I explained
Katie: "Wow, it's really amazing" I said very impressed
Nova: "I know" I said nodding, "Do you want to accompany me or do you prefer to stay?" I asked her in a nice way
Katie: "of course I want to accompany you, not every day you can meet a being that is a type of god" I said more enthusiastically
Nova: I smiled and said "then let's go"
Katie: I nodded and followed Nova to Scoot's cave
After half an hour in Scott's cave, Humphrey was beginning to wake up
Humphrey: "My head is spinning" I said quite dizzy as I tried to get up
Scoot: "You finally woke up" I said as I approached him with a hollow log with water
Humphrey: "I feel terrible" I said with a feeling of dizziness and weakness
Scoot: "I do not understand what happened to you, physically you are fine, but spiritually you are very weakened" I said surprised
Humphrey: "I was trapped in hell for many days" I explained after drinking some water
Scoot: "How did my brother allow that?" I asked surprised
Humphrey: "The devil expelled him, then she took off her protection and left me lying down until Toocs returned" I explained
Scoot: "I understand, it is surprising that you have survived in such a hostile place without any protection and that explains the damage to your soul" I said impressed
Humphrey: "It was horrible, I felt like with each breath my lungs burned more and more, my skin felt like they were flames" I told him while I remembered that experience with pain
Scoot: "It is hell for a reason and all that pain you felt was not only physical but also inflicted directly on your soul, that place was created to punish the souls of the wicked" I said seriously
Humphrey: "The devil is crazy, she tried to break me to be with her" I said something traumatized
Scott: "try to warn, my mother is not someone you can negotiate with, if she wants something she will do everything possible to get it" I said seriously
Humphrey: "You were right; it was stupid what I did" I said with great annoyance
Scoot: I sighed and said, "this is one of the cases where I hate being right"
Humphrey: "How hurt am I?" asked

Humphrey: "How does it affect me?" I asked him seriously
Scoot: "My mother tried to break you and was about to achieve it, a little more and you would have given in to her whims, right now you are at that breaking point, if something were to happen to you that affected you deeply, you may not be able to go back to recover, so you will become just a shell without emotions "I said seriously
Humphrey: "How long will it take to recover?" asked
Scoot: "It is not so simple, the soul is something very curious, unlike the body that can heal over time, but this in turn ages, the soul is something immortal, which evolves and transforms itself in its time on earth All your experiences and ties define it. In this case, your soul suffered serious damage from being subjected to such a traumatic experience and the only way to restore it is for you to strengthen it yourself" I explained
Humphrey: "and how can I do that?" asked
Scoot: "You must have clear objectives and great determination, but the most important thing is to have strong ties that remind you of who you are and why you do what you do" I explained
Humphrey: "Ties?" I asked him confused
Scoot: "That's right, ties are those connections you have with the important people in your life, like your partner, your children, your parents and all your loved ones" I explained
Humphrey: I nodded in understanding and said smiling, "In that case I have many ties"
Scoot: "That's good, but remember that the most important thing about ties is not the tie as such, but what has been lived and learned from that tie" I said
Humphrey: I nodded and said, "I understand," then asked, "How long was I unconscious?"
Scoot: "Several hours, it's already getting dark" I replied
Humphrey: "It was a long time, it is better that I returned to my cave, Kate must be worried" I said as I got up
Scoot: "You better take it easy" I said while helping him up
At that moment Nova and Katie arrived at Scoot's cave
Nova: "Dad, Uncle Scoot, are in?" I asked them from outside the cave
Scoot: "It seems that your son is looking for you" I said to Humphrey
Humphrey: "I see that, surely Kate sent it" I said nodding
Scoot: "You think you're able to go back to your cave?" asked
Humphrey: "Yeah, I just need to take it easy" I said nodding
Scoot: I nodded and said out loud "We're out now"
Nova: "Okay" I told them as I sat down to wait for them
Katie: "Yes, he lives far away," I said, surprised by how much we walked to get here
Nova: "I told you" I said smiling
At that moment Humphrey and Scoot came out of the cave
Humphrey: "Hi son, Katie, what are you doing around here?" I asked them
Nova: "Hi dad, mom sent me to see how you were" I explained
Humphrey: "It's just what I thought" I said nodding, "You can wait for me here while I say goodbye to your grandfather" I asked
Nova: "Okay, say hello from me" I said smiling
Humphrey: I nodded and went back into the cave, I walked to the room where he was and I saw that he was asleep, carefully I approached him and said with affection, "I love you, like your grandchildren, hold on a little more, I will find a way to save you"
Meanwhile outside the cave
Scoot: "Who is your friend?" I asked curious to see the puppy hidden behind him
Nova: "She is my friend Katie" I introduced her
Scoot: "Nice to meet you Katie, my name is Scoot" I kindly introduced myself
Katie: "I-i-is a-a-an h-honor-or s-si-sir-ir" I said quite nervous trying to be respectful
Scoot: I chuckled to see her so nervous, "Relax, there is no reason to be nervous" I said kindly
Katie: I just nodded
Scoot: "I see that you are quite shy" I said
Nova: "Well, a little bit, but she's more scared because you're a kind of god" I explained
Scoot: I let out a little laugh, "With good reason, it hasn't happened to me for a long time," I said
Nova: "Really?" I asked surprised
Scoot: "very rarely I show myself in front of mortal wolves, most of them look for me and sometimes those who look for me just want to challenge me" I explained
Nova: "I understand, so you rarely face someone who respects you a lot and is afraid of you," I said, nodding
Scoot: "exactly" I said nodding, then I went to Katie and said in a kind way "You do not have to be afraid, I am a being that was born to protect the good and innocent"
Katie: with a little more confidence she came out from behind Nova and asked her even in a nervous and shy way "Is that true?"
Scoot: "It's true" I said kindly
Katie: I could feel that I was being sincere and I have not felt any danger since we arrived, from what I can believe, but I would maintain a respectful attitude so as not to make him angry, "I'm glad sir" I said with a small smile
Scoot: I made a couple of cookies appear to give to both
Katie: "What is that?" I asked her confused, since she had never seen anything like this
Nova: I was very happy and told her, "It's a kind of food, and it's very tasty," then I started eating mine
Katie: I saw how she was enjoying that rare food, so I went over to mine and gave it a taste, "It's delicious" I said very surprised and amazed before eating the rest
Scoot: I chuckled and said "I'm glad you liked it"
Humphrey: when I left the cave I could see how Nova and Katie were eating those cookies that Scoot made, "I see that you are spoiling them" I said smiling
Scoot: "From time to time it doesn't hurt" I said with a guilty smile
Humphrey: "Let's go" I said to Nova and Katie
Nova and Katie nodded and said goodbye to Scoot
Nova: "See you later uncle, thank you very much for the cookie" I said smiling
Katie: "Thank you very much sir" I said happily
Scott: "It was nothing, take care of yourselves and take care of Humphrey" I told them smiling
Nova: "We will" I said nodding before leaving with my dad
Scoot: I saw how they walked away and when they were at a certain distance I said "You must be strong Humphrey for them", I knew he had heard me because he turned to see me while nodding, then I went back into the cave
Humphrey: We walked at a calm pace, mainly because I had not fully recovered, but so as not to worry them I just told them there was no rush
