Summary: Chaldea can be hectic and troublesome as all hell, but Robin Hood recalls memories of his time with his Master. Each one is good enough to break through his usual doubts. With a sparrow, it felt like he could live up to the Archer class name, for once in his life.

Note: I really need to get back to studying Immunology without having to stay up late at night. Hell, I was supposed to sleep at one point, but the Archer and Master in my brain have been having so many pseudo-romantic tangos to where I'm getting slightly fed up with it. So, here's more writing. Inspired by panyum's DanAya "brain rot," I think? And this takes place through Parts 1 and 1.5 of Fate/Grand Order canon, with no Lostbelt spoilers (for once).

For themes, I've been listening to the song Flight Feathers from Symphogear by one Nana Mizuki ever since these two have invaded my usual thought space (translated lyrics can be found on the fan-moderated Symphogear Wiki). For a more calmer song, I'll recommend one of my old favorites — the acoustic version of Gold from RWBY.

Oh, and of course, CW for some light Camelot and Sub-Singularity Agartha spoilers and implied triggers. The trigger-parts of the story are inspired by my own personal triggers and how upsetting Agartha was as a whole for me. If you don't like it, please skip this chapter entirely.

Otherwise, please enjoy.

Day 14: His Little Sparrow

The first time Robin ever saw Vy as a real girl was the first time he found her singing. It wasn't even the greatest moment of their shared lives together since he was summoned — if anything, it was rather mundane, and almost sudden considering their continuing journey in saving all of Humanity from Goetia's forced Incineration.

He had coincidentally come back from a patrol around the village they were camping in after confronting that one Sun Knight from the Lion King's parade, just to find Mash laying her head in Vy's lap. Even in armor, Mash was fast asleep against Vy's legs, with Vy brushing her hair with her fingers. In spite of what appeared to be the beginnings of eyebags on the horizon, Vy looked almost serene as she kept playing with Mash's purple locks, mouthing something.

It took Robin a second for him to realize she wasn't mouthing something, but singing something instead.

The lyrics were very faint, hard to make out with all the snoring from the refugees slumbering around him, but he could still read the syllables on her lips until Vy raised her head and noticed him. Even when she squinted at him from the lack of glasses on her nose (when did she take them off?), she still blinked before smiling up at him, stopping herself mid-song.

"Shhh," she whispered, raising one finger to her lips. "Mash is sleeping and she's been needing the break."

Robin couldn't help the hopelessly fond smile forming on his face, even when, in hindsight, it probably was a rather vulnerable thing to show, especially for a mundane Heroic Spirit like himself. Still, he nodded, walking closer to plop himself down on a cot near Vy, never breaking eye contact the entire time. "The little lady fell asleep first?"

"She was stressing herself out," Vy continued quietly, glancing down at the sleeping Demi-Servant with a sad smile. "I think seeing Gawain and Lancelot affected her more than we thought, and Da Vinci…" Whatever Vy had in mind was then lost to the night after that.

Robin tried not to wince in the following silence. Of course.

The way Da Vinci had sacrificed herself wasn't the greatest scene to go out on, even if her intentions were noble.

Still, instead of voicing that thought, he raised one arm to wrap it around Vy's shoulders. Vy blinked up at him, her brown eyes widening before softening as she focused in on him. "Big Robin?" she whispered.

"If you need a break, you can take a break, little sparrow. You deserve rest, too," Robin said honestly, gently rubbing her shoulder blade through her Chaldea uniform. "You're the only Master we've got, so you've gotta take care of yourself, too."

Vy blinked at him again, her smile turning a bit sad as time passed. "Aye," she said faintly, her voice barely audible at this point. If Robin didn't know any better, it sounded like the wind would blow her away with how weak her response came out of her mouth. "It… It always comes back to that, huh?"

Robin was starting to get the vague feeling he said something wrong. "It's where you started," he tried to amend hastily, letting go of Vy's shoulders almost immediately to splay his palms open in a peaceful gesture of surrender. "It doesn't have to be something that defines you, little sparrow."

"…I know," Vy answered in the same quiet voice, her head ducked towards the Shielder Demi-Servant still sleeping obliviously against her lap. "I know, Robin." Vy's fingers absently brushed Mash's hair. That doesn't mean I can leave Mash, suddenly surged through their mental connection. I can't leave you or anyone here, after all this. Master or not, you all still mean something to me.

Robin took a breath. It definitely wasn't the time to unload that topic, especially since it felt like Vy was unintentionally projecting her inner thoughts, again, so what left his mouth instead was a quieter, "What were you singing earlier, little sparrow?"

The topic change worked almost instantly, since Vy was raising her head to look at him again, squinting for a second in consideration before realization sparkled in her big brown eyes. "You heard?" she whispered back in happy surprise. "I-I could've sworn I kept my voice down."

Robin did his best to hold down a sudden laugh. Just when he thought he made the little sparrow angry, here she is, brightening up enough to nearly chirp. "I'm an Archer, little sparrow. Reading lips is a part of what I do."

"I dunno if that's something all Archers can do…" Vy was still smiling again, warmth blooming in her expression. "But to answer your question, the song I was singing came from something I kinda grew up with."

"From your family?"

"No. A TV show."

If not for the Holy Grails in every Singularity and the FATE system that summoned him to begin with, Robin had a feeling he wouldn't have known what that term meant. Still, Robin took a moment to digest the words, blinking at her in the time it took to reorient himself with the new vocabulary being used. "Something special to you?" he filled in for the white space.

"Kind of," Vy elaborated vaguely, a weak giggle leaving her lips as a hand went up to her mouth. "It was still in progress when I came to Chaldea, and I started the show back when I was in high school. And, well, no new episodes are going to come out now when I'm one of the few humans left to remember it."

True, but still kinda sad. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, little sparrow," Robin said.

Vy shook her head enough to have some strands of long brown hair slap her cheeks. "Nah, it's okay. It's been a long time since I've talked about it with someone, I think." She shrugged her shoulders, and the last thing Robin expected was for her to lean his way. The side of her head gently bumped his chest, and he blinked down at her. "It was a story about four girls, all representing different colors."

"Colors?" Robin wasn't expecting that either.

In spite of the sudden closeness, Vy didn't seem fazed as she leaned further into Robin's space bubble, one of her hands still playing with Mash's hair. "Red, white, black, and yellow," Vy continued in the same wistful voice, rocking her head back and forth against his tunic. "Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang. Those were the girls' names. And they all shared the story of trying to find themselves in a world that's constantly changing."

"I… see," Robin said, trying not to sound baffled. The names themselves sounded American in origin, but really? Colors? What was the theme the creators were trying to set here? "What did they have to face?" he asked instead.

"Perilous evil beyond what they had originally imagined when growing up in school," Vy elaborated, her smile wry even from Robin's point of view. "When thinking about it now, it kinda reflects how I ended up in Chaldea, meeting Mash and then fighting the Demon God Pillars. Not entirely, but it's similar." Vy raised one hand to gently shake it in a "eh" gesture, her exhaustion obvious even without their mental connection. "I ended up singing one of the songs that goes from one girl to another without thinking."

"Because it was Mash?" Robin filled in gently.

"Because it was Mash, and I love her very much," Vy completed matter-of-factly. She almost sounded proud with the statement, and Robin absently wondered how the little lady would've felt if she realized Mash had woken up about a minute ago and now was pretending to be asleep. "And, well, the song was the only lullaby I could really think of."

Ah, fuck it. At this point, Robin decided to speak up. There was only so much "waffling" he could take, even if the little sparrow made it kinda cute. "…Think you could sing it again?"

The few seconds of silence he got after his question was enough of a clue to let Robin know he had essentially thrown Vy off guard. The sudden surge of pink covering her ears after the fact was enough to make Robin want to laugh a bit. "R-Really?" Vy squeaks, hiding her face with some of her hair. "I-It's kinda cheesy, Robin."

"Says the one who hugs all of us at least once every day."

"That's my way to make sure we're all okay and I don't see you complaining, big Robin, so shushie!"

Robin still waited.

Vy eventually caved from the mutual silence, though not without a little "Uuuu" noise that displayed her shyness far more than the red tips of her ears. "Fine," she admitted after a second or so, turning her head up to look at him with a very visible pout. Her eyebrow twitched as she said more vehemently, "D-Don't laugh if I mess up on a note or something, okay?"

Robin lightly tapped the front of his chest with one hand, reaching over with his other to wrap it around Vy's shoulders again in what he hoped was a comforting gesture. The No Face May King draped them both at that point. "Scout's honor," he said in his best haughty voice.

"Dork," Vy replied dryly, but the tension is gone from her figure and then she closes her eyes, pressing herself up against his chest as she takes a deep breath. It's obvious she's nervous about this — so different from the girl who was unabashedly singing to Mash earlier. "Please don't tell Kiyo-san about this, big Robin."

"Got it," he says dutifully. Robin then pretends he doesn't notice Mash quietly tensing up in Vy's lap as Vy prepares herself.

It takes the first line Vy sings to make Robin realize that he's staring.

"Dream of anything,
I'll make it all come true!
Everything you need
Is all I have for you!
I'm forever
Always by your side!
Whenever you need a friend,
I'm never far behind~"

Even with the first verse starting with Vy's voice cracking from the nervousness, Robin could tell his choice in calling her "little sparrow" wasn't unfounded. Mash visibly relaxing in Vy's lap again was an extra bonus.

"I'll burn like the sun,
Keep you safe and warm.
Like the smell of a rose on a summer's day,
I will be there to take all your fears away.
With a touch of my hand, I will turn your life to gold!"

In the darkness of that hut, with nothing but the light of the moon illuminating each other, Robin felt like Vy's light could outshine even that golden spear from the Lion King. That soft, sweet voice singing kind things proved that much.

"Don't worry, I've got you.
Nothing will ever harm you.
I'm close by,
I'll stay here,
Through all things, I will be near!
Close your eyes,
Don't you cry,
Love's around you,
In time you'll fly!"

For what wasn't the first time, Robin wondered how things in his life would've been different had Vy lived in his time. With her brown hair brushing his neck and her high-pitched voice gently floating into his ears, promising better things in an ideal world through song — how would all of his time as "Robin Hood" changed if she was there?

If there was one thing that solidified Robin's resolve to stay for his Master, though, it was the aftermath of one specific event in the Remnant Order. After all, no one could forget how the Pseudo-Singularity of Agartha had gone down. The constant threats of rape, the ghastly imagery of the cities there, the mistreatment of the people, and the rude mishandling of Servants if Drake and Columbus were any indication — it all made Robin sick to his stomach. And if he felt that way—

Vy.

By the time all participants from Chaldea had Rayshifted back to home base, Robin Hood was already rushing over to the Command Room as fast as his legs could let him. Judging by the other presences alongside him, he wasn't the only one, as he could make out the corners of Medea's cape and the green clothes of Diarmuid as the Command Room got closer and closer.

Vy!

Robin wasn't sure who broke down the door. It might've been his own Yew Bow with one arrow. Or it might've been the sword of Minamoto-no-Raikou, with a loud and worried, "Vy, my baby!" on her lips. Hell, he wasn't even sure if Diarmuid had pulled out both his spears to slash at the darn thing.

But the door was crumbling anyway, leaving a wide-eyed Da Vinci staring at them from the center of the room and—

"S-Senpai, senpai, it's okay, it's okay… I'm here…" Mash was sitting on her knees, huddled on the ground near Da Vinci's feet as she held up a shivering brunette in her arms, and if the small droplets on the floor of the Command Room were any indication—

"Oh no," Medea breathed out. "We should've—"

D'eon was already nearby and rubbing Vy's back through the wrinkles of her Chaldean Standard uniform the entire time it took Robin to come close, raising her head only when he was a few centimeters away. It was obvious even D'eon was spooked if her widened eyes were any indication, and if D'eon, one of Vy's oldest contracted Servants, was this panicked—

Vy, what did you see?

Instead of saying that, Robin merely kneeled to Vy's sitting height, patting Mash's shoulder along the way for comfort, before taking a deep breath.

"…Little sparrow?" he whispered.

Vy shivered again, but not as violently compared to her current huddle with D'eon and Mash. From what he could see of her face, tears streaked her reddened cheeks enough to blur the lenses of her glasses, choked sobs mixed in with the sniffles that made up Vy's current attempts to breathe. Still, she was looking up at him, or, well, towards him, at least, her bottom lip trembling. "R-Robin…"

…I should've been there with you, even if Heracles would've killed me.

Robin instead took another breath, pushing down whatever frustration that was starting to bubble up in his brain in favor of doing his best to put on a smile. "…Could I hold your hand, little sparrow?"

Vy slowly raised her head up from her knees and past Mash's soaked shoulder, her bottom lip still shaking as she nodded. She raised one trembling hand up towards him, palm splayed open, and Robin felt his shoulders relax once he took it in his.

Soft, squishy, a little calloused and wet from tears, sure, but still slender enough to be his little sparrow's hand.

"You made it back, little sparrow," Robin Hood said softly, squeezing Vy's hand with as much care as a bandit like him could give. "You're home now. There's nothing to be afraid of."

Both of Vy's lips trembled this time. Her voice, unused up until that point, came out almost like that of a little girl's pitch as her fingers weakly squeezed his back. "R-Robin… I— I—" A sob cut through her words, Vy's nose scrunching up under the bridge of her glasses as more tears dripped down her face. "I-I don't wanna go back there. I-I can't go back there. I-I can't, I can't…!"

Go back where? Agartha?

Mash started brushing Vy's hair as Robin scooted a bit closer to the huddle, lifting his other hand to cup Vy's shaking one. "You don't have to," he whispered, forcing as much warmth as he could muster into Vy's hand with a squeeze. "You don't have to go anywhere right now, little sparrow. It's over."

More tears fell to the floor of the Command Room as the other Servants slowly approached, Medea and Diarmuid in particular hovering over D'eon and Mash's heads with worried expressions. Robin could understand how they felt, considering his own sinking stomach, but still persisted with what he could. Vy was still speaking again, and that itself was progress.

"R-Robin…" Vy sniffled, visibly trying to hold in what looked like the urge to scream, but still hanging onto him as she said, "I-I still dunno what to do…"

"And that's okay." Robin allowed himself one shaky exhale for emotional reprieve before scooting close enough to let his knee bump one of Vy's, squeezing her hand in both of his again. "That's okay, little sparrow." He tried not to look up at the looming Minamoto-no-Raikou, because if her grief-stricken expression was anything to go by, all the Servants were feeling the same way he was right now. "You're back in Chaldea now. There's nothing left to be scared of."

Vy's shoulders tensed up enough for Robin to feel it through her hand, tears still slipping down her cheeks and marking the floor. "H-How do you know that?" she sniffled, her eyebrows scrunched up on her forehead. "A-Anything could happen with the Demon God Pillars still around, a-and, and if I— I—" Another hoarse sob left her parted lips.

What if I fail?

By then, Robin had enough, pulling on Vy's hand before she could finish and taking all those tears head-on via a hug. It wasn't his style to do so, but at that point, he couldn't think of anything else. Hell, he could vaguely hear Mash, D'eon, and Raikou squawk in surprise, but he ignored it in favor of his still shivering Master. "Hey," he exhaled softly, cradling Vy in his arms as she continued to shake, barely holding more sobs back. "You're not alone, little sparrow. You're not doing this alone. You hear me? You're not alone."

None of us would leave you by choice.

Vy's trembling was still persisting in spite of the hand he rested on top of her head, but something in his words must have registered in her brain because her fingers were weakly digging into the front of his tunic as her sobs were staggering in volume, becoming quieter. "R-R-Robin…"

"I'm here, little sparrow," Robin whispered softly into her hair, unconsciously pressing his lips against the crown of her head before he could catch and restrain himself. "I'm here."

That was all it took for Vy to shakily bury her face into his shoulder and bawl.

"W-WAAAAAAH!"

It was the first time Robin could ever recall hearing Vy crying so loudly, so desperately, but she was crying out what sounded like everything she was holding in since she became the only Chaldean Master. Frustration, pain, sadness, all of those things. When thinking about it, it was the first time in what sounded like a long time that Vy was clinging to anyone outside of Mash. But there she was, clinging to Robin's clothes and sobbing out whatever tension she had left from Agartha, hiding herself away in him.

Vy was confiding in him. A lone, bandit Archer like him.

Vy wasn't going to Mash, to Da Vinci, to D'eon, to Diarmuid, to Medea, or hell, to Raikou. This time, Vy had chosen Robin to cry to.

Even with his tunic starting to become wet from what was definitely snot and tears, Robin sighed softly, patting Vy's head as she continued to cry into his chest. He would certainly have to visit Chaldea's laundromat later, but for now, he could handle this. Ringing ear drums could be ignored.

"I'm here, little sparrow," he whispered again. "I'm here."

Robin wasn't really sure when Vy had stopped crying. But by the time she was weakly pushing at his chest and lowering her gaze from meeting his, it was obvious she was retreating a bit. That she was going back into whatever defensive shell she had made for herself. It was sad to watch.

"I-I…" Vy took a long, shaky breath, biting the inside of her cheek from the looks of her face before she raised her head and unintentionally revealed big red-rimmed brown eyes past her soaked glasses. "I-I'm sorry, big Robin."

"For what?" he said quietly.

A hand was surprisingly still on the front of his tunic, and Robin watched as Vy weakly clenched the green fabric between her fingers as her voice cracked in saying, "I-I got your clothes wet."

"It's nothing a quick shower and wash can't fix, little sparrow," Robin said soothingly, ignoring the boring eyes of every other Servant and person in the Command Room as he reached over to press a hand to her shoulder in return. "It looks like you needed that cry."

There's no way I could've left you alone when you were scared that much, was left unsaid. To hell with wet clothes.

"B-But…" Vy ducked her head, pink dusting her cheeks as her bottom lip trembled. Whatever protest she had in mind was then squashed in favor of a hoarse yet high-pitched quip of, "Y-You sure?"

"I'm sure," he said patiently, rubbing her shoulder in his best attempt at comfort. "If I couldn't handle a cry like that, how could I call myself a Heroic Spirit?"

The jab, unintentionally self-deprecating as it was, was still enough to jostle Vy out of whatever funk she was left in, making her raise her head to meet his eyes with a shaky smile. "D-Dork," she accused, her hand falling from his tunic to instead grab the hand he was using to hold onto her shoulder. Then, with a shakier breath, she said, "Th-Thankie."

"Thankie?" Robin echoed, blinking. "Not thank you?"

Vy blushed a darker red, but still wiped at her eyes with her left hand that held all of her Command Spells, repeating the phrase. "Thankie." A small pause, then she added in a tinier voice, "Emotional energy's too low now. Hard to talk."

"Ah." Considering some of the other Servants (D'eon, Diarmuid, and Medea specifically) had quietly left (probably after Vy's bawling as a guess as to when) to go to the Dining Hall to call Archer EMIYA and Tamamo Cat, Robin understood almost immediately. Crying out so loudly did take things from someone, more so especially for honest people like Vy. The fact that Mash wasn't saying anything now confirmed that fact. "You don't have to push yourself, little sparrow."

"A-Aye." Vy's mouth then opened as if she was considering something else to say, before she closed it and ducked her head again. "Um… Robin?"

Robin tilted his head at her in an attempt to get her to look at him. Her long brown hair wasn't exactly helping in the endeavor with how it was shading her face. Still, he said, "What is it?"

There was a small "Uuu" noise, just like that time in Camelot, before Vy was brushing some of her hair back behind her ear, meeting his eyes again and smiling shakily. Light slowly returned to the brown irises he knew belonged to his only Master as Vy said lightly, "C-Could I get your help in standing up? M-My legs can't move." Her hand squeezed his.

Robin smiled. "As my little sparrow wishes."

He was already getting the feeling this was going to become a trend.

After that, Robin noticed Vy softening in some way towards him. Now, it wasn't like she wasn't soft before, but after that breakdown in the Command Room from whatever horrors were present in Agartha, it felt like she was intentionally seeking him out more.

Gently tapping the side of his arm in greeting with the knuckles of her hand one time when passing in the hallway, carefully leaning against his side when they sat next to each other in the Dining Hall the next time, then lightly poking the back of his shoulder another time to get his attention. All those kinds of things made up Vy's new side she was showing towards him.

What he probably should've expected was the hugs too. Vy was an affectionate girl like that, more so if her sisterly relationship with Mash and the other child-like Servants were any indication. But in hindsight, he never really got used to physical affection, even if he did like picking up the occasional girl back in his time alive. For Vy to actively seek him out every time she found him in a room, wrapping her arms around his neck with a happy "Big Robin!" on her lips, it was almost mind-boggling to him with how often she did it.

It was just like the time when she had given him the nickname "Big Robin", only now he was starting to become aware of other things about Vy being his Master.

Vy was short with her 158 cm of height, she was soft whenever she hugged him, she was warm—

"Your head up in the clouds, Robin?" Billy's voice was remarkably coy in spite of his dealing the next hand of cards in their current poker game, and Robin blinked quickly to reorient himself.

"No," Robin said initially, staring at his fellow three-star Archer with a quirked eyebrow before grouchily admitting under his breath as the first card was dealt, "Okay, yes."

"Whatcha thinking about?" Billy offered, his voice teasing in spite of the hint of understanding in his words, placing his hand of cards down on the table. "It's not like ya to space this long."

"Vy," Robin said, then immediately regretted it once a glint came into Billy's eyes. A wide grin grew on his friend's face, making Billy look all the more vicious. Robin then backtracked with a raised hand, rubbing the back of his neck with the other as he looked away from their card game. "I just… I don't get her sometimes."

"Huh. What's there to get?" Billy said in good nature, humoring Robin with a tap of his pointer finger against the table. "She's our Master, and a darn cute one. I don't see the problem?"

"It's not just that," Robin groused, ignoring the faint sensation of heat climbing up the back of his neck as he glanced back at his fellow Archer. "Am I the only one who's noticed she's been more affectionate lately?"

"What, the big Robin can't take hugs?" Billy teased with a glint of teeth in his smile.

"Shut it," Robin instinctively quipped.

Geronimo, up until now silent, then opened his mouth to put in his two cents of, "Perhaps she wants to be with you more?"

Robin and Billy both looked up from their cards, glancing at the Caster with raised eyebrows.

"…I wouldn't put it past her," Billy said thoughtfully, tapping a finger against his chin. "Vy can be clingy when she wants to be, but it's never in an annoying way. If she wants to be with you, she hugs you. It's as simple as that."

It didn't stop Robin from muttering, "But then why me?"

Both Billy and Geronimo stared at him, almost turning their heads towards him in enough near sync to be weird. "Why not you?" Geronimo said after a moment, placing a card down near the center of the table. "Robin, I recall you being there after everything in Agartha."

"I get that," Robin sighed, giving up on the card game in favor of resting his head in his folded arms, closing his eyes. Where did he put his cigarettes again? "But sometimes, I don't get why she wants to stay with me."

Compared to the other Servants, I'm not really worth anything—

Past the little cracks of space between his arms, Robin could faintly make out Billy's expression morphing from surprise to what looked like glee. He didn't get a chance to think about it once slender, petite arms were suddenly pressing against his back and wrapping around his shoulders to hold onto his head.

What the—

Robin tried not to flinch once a chin gently dropped onto his head, a soft "Muu" noise echoing in his ears before he could feel the air in the room shift. Uh-oh. "Big Robin, you dork," Vy muttered, making herself known by hugging him tighter from behind, the front of her chest resting against his back through the No Face May King. When did she sneak up on him? Hell, why didn't he notice her? "Do I have to give a reason?"

"L-Little sparrow, you could've said something if you were going to come in," Robin flubbed, feeling that darned heat climb back up his neck again. "How much did you hear?"

"Enough," Vy said, her tone enough for him to hear the disapproving pout in her voice. Ack. "You're a giant dork, Archer."

Robin ignored Billy letting out a bark of laughter in the background in favor of raising his head from his arms, adjusting his posture so that Vy wasn't leaning over as much to hug him. The last thing he wanted was for her to strain herself more after all the work she found herself doing thanks to being Humanity's last Master. "Yes, yes, I'm a dork and a bandit, little sparrow, I think that's already been established," he said wryly, pressing a hand to one of hers. "Anything else you need to say?"

Instead of responding, Vy pulled back from the hug, a first for her since normally she would've liked hanging onto him for a little while longer. Then, hands were grabbing both of Robin's cheeks to pull his face towards hers. Even through the fringe of his hair, Robin couldn't miss the sad, frustrated glint in her brown eyes as her bottom lip quivered.

Ah. "Little sparrow?" Robin tried gently.

"Shushie." Vy shook her head, shutting her eyes for a moment before opening them to stare at him incredulously. And was that pink dusting her cheeks? "…I want to stay with you because I like you, big Robin," Vy answered for him, angrily headbutting his forehead with hers. BAP. Even if it was out of clear frustration, Vy's usual brand of honesty was still there since, funny enough, the headbutt actually didn't hurt. "I like you as a person and a friend, not just because you're my Servant. Even before Agartha, I liked you, big Robin. Poison, bandit-bits, and all." BAP. "I still do." BAP.

"Vy—"

"Muu," Vy sighed at this point, but then she smiled, the gesture enough to make Robin's heart skip a beat. "So, if that's enough of a reason for you, stop deprecating a person I care about, okay? It hurts to hear bad things about someone I love." BAP.

I love you too, so screw your bandit name. You're enough for me.

Robin didn't get a chance to reply before Vy was pulling away from him, her head turned up towards the ceiling as she brushed her hair back behind her ear again. The lobes of her ear looked suspiciously red past all the brown locks. "A-Anyways! I said my bit, so we'll be farming later! Make sure to have your Yew Bow on hand, big Robin! You're on the front lines again!"

It took hearing Geronimo and Billy's barely hidden laughter behind Robin's back once Vy left for Robin to realize his face was totally red too.

"…I'm totally screwed, huh?"

More laughter from his fellow Servants confirmed it.

There was no way he could leave now. Not when a little sparrow could find him and boost him up with all her might.

Note: Inspired by the commission partialdignity did for me on Tumblr. This is for you, friend. :)

Now I'll go sleep. It's midnight over here, so I'll see you all next time.
