ONE STANDARD WEEK BEFORE THE EVENTS OF VECTOR PRIME
I have not done much since the fall of the Empire.I only have killed Thrawn,helped a kid hijack Centerpoint,killed the ghost of Exar Kun,and beat up a bunch of aliens.My name,Strill,is becoming a whisper,a frightening tool to scare kids to eat there vegetables.They think I am dead.So here I am,exploring the unknown regions when I come across a planet.It was relatively small,but there was the weirdest fleet I have every seen around it.It looked like growths of some kind,but before so could get closer they left,ejected into hyperspace.I decided to go to the planet to see what they did.When I landed on the first city I could see,It was pretty bad.Everything that was technological was smashed,and there were bodies littered on the ground.I knelt down and turned over a body,and was looking at a familiar face.It was Yoda's species,and they were wiped out.I was about to leave when I heard a scream to my left.I ran over to the scream,and was meet by the sight of one of Yoda's species getting beat up by a humanoid shaped creature.It turned to me,and its appearance was unlike anything I have ever seen.It looked like it wore living armor,and carried a snake as a weapon.It had no helmet,so I could see that he had no hair and his face was scarred up even more than mine.He snarled and to my surprise,spoke basic to me,"I am a Vuuzhan Vong!Prepare to meet an honorable death,facing the Warmaster of the Vuuzhan Vong!"
Before I could respond,he charged and brought his snake on my head.I took out my weapons and blocked it with my lightsaber,expecting it to cut the snake in half.Instead,the snake wrapped around it and whacked me in the chest.I grunted and kicked him away as I realized that this is a new breed of opponent.I started firing at him but his armor absorbed it,and the knee at his head he ducked.He charged me again and I met him again,but I stepped in closer so that the snake will hit my back instead.I blocked a side strike with my lightsaber,then stabbed him in the stomach,before shooting him in the stomach.I relaxed,thinking he will die and not fight back through the pain,but he proved me wrong by whacking me in the head and sending me flying.I cursed,who is this guy?If his species,the "Vuuzhan Vong" out like him,I am in trouble.He looks like he wanted to fight more,but his legs gave out on him and he collapsed.He took off his helmet,smiled,and looked at me,"You our worthy.We will take over your galaxy,and you will be worthy sacrifices to Yun-Yuuzhan."Before I could return some verbal fire,we coughed out blood and his body slumped,life less.I walked over to the Yoda looking creature that the Vong was beating,and I could tell that he was about to die.When he say me,he gasped and his eyes had a maniac light to it."What is your name?"
"Strill"
"You our the one.The Force has chosen you to be the harbinger of fate.You will fight the Vong,along side the daughter of the sand and the grandson of the knight of darkness.You will save the grandson from death,fake his and your death.The daughter of the sand will join you,and you three will be died until the greatest darkness rises,the being the gods of Morris feared."
I blinked and recorded all that in my helmet,"Is that an instruction manual?"The being smiled,"Kind of.Take this,it will save him.Go to Dantooine."He took out a vial of blue liquid,and tossed it at me.I was about to thank him,but he was dead.I put the vial in my belt,and went back to my ship.I sighed and put a course to Dantooine,and wondered why I trusted the being.It was a subconscious feeling,an instinct on who to trust.As I went into hyperdrive,I activated my comm unit and sliced into Leia Organa Solo's comm."Who is this?"I smiled at the irony of the words,"This is Fulcrum,with one last warning."
"Fulcrum?You sent my brother a heart as a gift."
"Yes I did.Listen to me,the galaxy is in grave danger.They our about to be attacked by an alien species called the Vuuzhan Vong.I no little about them,exempt that they are proficient warriors with a immunity to pain.Stand ready,and defeat them."
Before she could respond,I cut the message,leaving her to ponder my message.I had a destiny to face,and I feel like I would have a purpose in the galaxy again.
