Izuku Midoriya had faced foes that not many could say they had. He had faced giant Sphinxes, robots, literal gods and his therapist (who was a god but don’t get him started on that one.). So, when he returns home to try and be a hero, he wasn’t sure why he expected it to be easier than everything else that had happened in the past year.

The Phantom Thieves was a topic Izuku Midoriya was familiar with, but didn't have time to think about while he was in hero training.
