It was been weeks since I have been on Dantooine,and they have finally arrived.The first one is a male human,with blue eyes,brown hair,and broad shoulders.He looks like Anakin Solo,the little boy that I helped hijack Centerpoint station.The other one,I know her very well.She is Mara Jade.She looks older,and sickly,but it is definitely her.I will not admit this to anybody,but I will say that I have respect for Anakin.I know what he did on Serpindal,saving countless lives for the price of one friend.He made a hard choice,and I respect it.So here I am watching them covertly,thinking about what the being said.I think the "Grandson of the Knight of Darkness" is Anakin Solo.Are destined our linked.I know it.I will just wait for the perfect moment to reveal myself.
A few days later,I was in the bar drinking,when I heard screams outside.I peeked through an open window,and say a Vong warrior beating up the native that was been helping Anakin and Mara.I saw Anakin from the bushes,and I knew that he needed to leave with Mara and start running,because there out going to be a lot more than one solider.I pulled out my gun,causing all of the people in the bar to duck,and I shot the Vong right in the head,instantly killing him.I saw the natives surprised look,and Anakin's,but he stopped and ran the other direction.My mission objective is to keep them safe and alive.Can not be that hard.
It was been about three days since Anakin and Mara have been running from the Vong,and I have to admit,Anakin is doing a good job.Of course,it does not hurt he has me killing a few solider,and helping him in some fights.I can tell Mara knows I am tailing them,but for reason I can not figure out,she is not looking for me.I guess that is good,because I do not want to fight her.I was watching form a distance when Anakin was fighting two Vong warriors,but he was not doing so well.I quietly snuck up behind the warriors as that knocked Anakin to the ground.The guy in the left was about to stab him open,but I activated my lightsaber and chopped off his head.The other warrior turned to me in surprise,but I then stabbed him in the armpit,killing him,I deactivated my lightsaber and saw Anakin looking up at me,a horrified look as he saw a massive being with a red lightsaber clad in in Beskar armor.I laughed at his face,the offered a hand,"Hello Anakin.My name is Strill."He looked at me in shock,then took the hand to help him up.He looked at me up and down,"Who-What our you?"I smiled under my helmet,"A Hutt,can't you tell?"He glared at me,but before he could respond Mara walked out."Anakin are you..."She stopped dead when she saw me,and I simply stared at her back."Are you going to kill me know or later?"She looked at me in surprise,then she ran forward and actually hugged me.My surprise was massive,and Anakin's face was a study of shock.I detached myself,"You do not hate me?"
"Why would I hate you?We all made the same choice in the end."
Anakin just rubbed his temple,"What is going on?Can somebody please explain who this "Strill" guy is?"I smiled at the humor of the situation but before I could say anything,I heard the slight intake of breath and I realized that two humans were close to us.I took out my blaster and fired at the sound.I saw a hand come out and catch it in midair.I was ready ti fire some more but Mara put a hand in my arm.I saw the familiar face of Luke Skywalker and Jacen Solo.Jacen ignited his lightsaber and was ready to strike me,but Luke stopped him,"Who are you?"I was about to make a smart comment,but to my surprise,Anakin interrupted,"We can trust him.He has been helping me,and is an old friend of Mara."I looked at him,and allowed respect to be in my voice,"Your a smart kid."Mara coughed,"We can talk later on the ship."I was about to agree,but I heard a cry in a strange language.I turned around and say two Vong warriors charging at us.I heard Jacen curse,"We really should go now."I nodded,pulled out a thermal detonator,and threw it at the pair of warriors.I am starting to realize that only higher up warriors where helmets,so there heads blew up and there was skull fragments everywhere.I caught a large chunk of the skull as it flew near Luke's face." Now we get moving."
I rubbed my temple as the entire Solo and Skywalker family except Han was sitting on a table,interviewing me.I lead them on some sort of chase of information for my amusement,but Mara told them what she knew.Anakin also figured out a lot using his brain,furthering my knowledge respect for him.They were still getting used to my scarred up face,until Leia called an end and all the kids went to bed,along with Leia and Luke.I looked at Mara for a little,before breaking the silence,"Which one of the kids our your favorite?"Mara looked a little embarrassed,"I really should not say."
"Come on.I will not tell anybody.At least nobody important."Mara looked thoughtful,then sighed,"I like Anakin."I nodded,"Thought so.I like him too.I might need a little bit of a discussion with him about grief."Mara nodded then stood up and left.I got up as well,clipped my helmet to my belt,and went to Anakin's room.I went in without knocking,and saw him in his Jedi robes,staring at the ceiling.He glanced at me,"I will never get used to not sensing you in the Force."I shrugged,"Penny for your thoughts?"He swung his legs and sat up,"Just if I made the right choices."I put a hand on his shoulder,"I know what you our dealing with.You made a hard decision,one friend for many,and you are thinking about your decision.You made the right choice.Have faith in yourself,and do not look for approval from anybody else."He looked at me,then tears started to form in his eyes and he started weeping.And I held him as he weeped.
I was sitting at a table eating a healthy breakfast of salad when I heard a large explosion.I stood up as Luke,Jacen,and Anakin came rushing in."Do not say,'we our under attack'.It is kinda obvious.And expected."Jacen liked irritated,"How is it obvious?"I smiled,but before I could answer Luke intervened,"No time to talk.I will take the left flank.You three take the right."I scoffed as I put on my helmet,"Yes General,"I said in a sarcastic tone.I ran off with Anakin and Jacen,and there was about 26 warriors fighting with the New Republic soldiers.The Vong warriors were winning until we charged in.I could tell that Jacen was a good warrior,just not as good as Anakin.As I pulled out my weapons and meet the first warrior,I felt my mind detach from my body.I felt my blood start pumping,adrenaline course through my veins.It was a state of perfect rage,something I have done only a few times,and never in purpose.It scared and awed people when they saw me do this.I became a tornado of destruction,a typhoon of death,as I let instincts and decades of fighting take over my body.Before I knew it,I have killed 20 warriors,with Anakin and Jacen killing the other 6.Them and the remaining republic troops stared at me in awe.Anakin was the first to speak up,"How-How did you do that?"
"I do not know.Ir is not something I can do in command."
Before anybody could say anything,I heard Luke's voice over the comm,"Retreat,retreat.We have lost too many ships to hold.Dantooine had fallen."After the battle,we all returned to Curascant.I am just getting ready,because the war was just begun.
A/N:This story is going to follow closely to the NJO plot,minus a certain character's death.I have not read the legends book before NJO,so please correct me if I say something inaccurate.Next chapter Monday.
