"So, you guys have a lot of Magic here in Auradon?" Mal asked as she and her crew followed behind Ben and Audrey." Like wands and things like that?"
"Yeah, it exists, of course, but it's pretty much retired." Ben explained, "All of us here are just ordinary mortals."
"Who happen to be Kings and Queens." Mal rolled her eyes.
"That's true!" Audrey piped up as she moved Ben's arm to wrap around her shoulder, "Or royal blood goes back hundreds of years!" She bragged. Ben gave an awkward chuckle and looked as if he wanted to get his arm off Audrey,
"Doug, Melody, Sophia! Guys! Come down here!" Ben called, moving over towards a boy with glasses and a band uniform and the two sisters from earlier as they walked down the stairs. Ben wrapped his arm around Doug when he got to the bottom of the stairs. The twins, Melody and Sophia stood on Ben's other side, a couple of inches away from him but practically glued together. "Guys, this is Doug, Melody and Sophia." Ben gestured to the boy, then the black-haired girl, and then the white-haired girl. "They'll show you around and help with your schedules." Ben returned to the VK's. "I'll see you later ok?" Ben was clearly focusing on Mal, and the sisters exchanged looks. "And if you need anything, feel free to-"
"Ask Doug!" Audrey interrupted. She and Mal shared another laugh that trailed into a sigh, before the Daughter of Sleeping Beauty dragged her boyfriend away.
"Hey guys, I'm Dopey's son." Doug introduced, "As in Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Grumpy, Sleepy and…" He trailed off after seeing Evie, "Hi-ho." Evie sashayed over to him.
"Evie, Evil Queen's daughter." She said flirtatiously.
"I'm Melody." The black-haired girl introduced, ignoring Doug's obvious already-crush on Evie. "This is my sister Sophia." The white-haired girl nodded her head. "We're the daughters of King Eric and Queen Vanessa." Doug then snapped out of his daze.
"So yeah, about your classes I put in the requirements already." The bespectacled boy spoke up. Mal stepped up behind him and peered over his shoulder. "History of Woodsman and Pirates, Safety Rules for the Internet and." He cleared his throat, "Remedial Goodness 101."
"Let me guess." Mal started, popping some sort of candy in her mouth, "New class?" Doug nodded sheepishly. Mal dropped the wrapper. "Come on guys, let's go find our dorms." Mal lead the VK's up the nearest staircase.
"Uh, your dorms are that way guys." Doug pointed to the staircase on the other side.
"Doug, why don't you show the boys their new rooms." Melody suggested. "We'll show the girls."
"Yeah, sure." Doug gestured to Carlos and Jay for them to follow him, and the boys disappeared down a hallway. Mal and Evie reluctantly followed behind the twins as they were lead to their new room. Melody opened the doors and the two VK's walked through.
"This place is so amaz-" Evie started to say before Mal cut her off.
"Gross." Mal stated.
"I know right, amazingly gross ew." Evie corrected,
"I am going to need some serious sunscreen. E." Mal pointed to one of the windows. She and Evie closed the windows. "Phew, that is much better." Mal stated. She then turned, spotting Melody and Sophia as they stood in the middle of the room. "What are you two still doing here?" Sophia stepped forward, Melody closing the door.
"You need allies." Sophia said. It was the first time she had spoke, her voice held a certain raspiness to it that she shared with her sister. "After all, a group of Villans in Auradon who don't know where Fairy Godmother's Wand is, that'd hinder your plans greatly."
"How do you-"
"Precognitive dreams." Melody explained, "We knew about Maleficent's plan years before she even did."
"So...you're…" Evie trailed off.
"Villans, yes." Sophia said, "We were bought up that way."
"Our mother taught us to play the long game." Melody continued, as if they'd practised this speech before. "We've been waiting for you to come for about...six years now?" Melody looked at her sister. Sophia nodded.
"Do we have a deal?" Sophia stepped forward, offering her left hand to Mal. "We help you get Fairy Godmother's Wand, and you leave Tirulia alone." Mal looked to Evie, who gave her a helpless shrug. Mal groaned as she strode forward, clasping Sophia's hand. Once their hands joined, golden cords wrapped around their forearms, binding them together. A piece of gold parchment appeared on top of their hands. Black ink spread over the paper, forming the words of their agreement. A pen then appeared in front of Mal, a quill made of silver feathers. Mal took it, signed on the dotted line and the pen, parchment, and the cords disappeared. Sophia grinned. "Wonderful."
