Sophia and Melody walked alongside Audrey, Chad and Ben as the three made their way's through the halls. The black-haired girl was dressed in a red, short-sleeved, high necked dress, a gold belt and black flats. Sophia, on the other hand, was wearing a long-sleeved poofy shirt that seemed to resemble a pirate, leather pants and boots. They both had matching brown messenger bags slung over their shoulders. Audrey's laugh cut short when they made it to the outside lockers, and she noticed a purple head. "Hey." Chad Charming whispered, lightly slapping Ben's chest. "Those kids are trouble." Chad pointed at them.

"Come on Chad," Ben replied. "Give them a chance."

"No offence Baby Bear, but you're just too trusting!" Audrey said, moving her sunglasses to the top of her head and taking Ben's hands. "I know your mum fell in love with a big, nasty beast that turned out to be a prince! But with my mum, the Evil Fairy was just the Evil Fairy!" Audrey nodded towards Mal. "That girls mother!" Audrey hissed the line.

"I think you're wrong about them."

"We need to head off to class." Melody said. "We'll see you later Ben." And with that, the twins left the soon-to-be King all by himself.

Sophia and Melody managed to find seats near Evie and Doug for their chemistry class. The two princesses were prodigies with creating formulas and even went as so far as to brew potions when Mr Deley wasn't looking. "Any chance he's in line for a throne?" Evie asked dreamily, causing Sophia to look up and see that she was looking at Chad dreamily. "Anywhere in line."

"Chad, Prince Charming Junior." Doug said.

"He's Cinderella's son." Melody sighed, not looking up from her work. "He's got looks, but he doesn't get a lot of there-there, if you know what I mean."

"Looks like there-there to me." Evie muttered.

"Evie!" Mr Deley called, causing the blue-haired girl's head to snap up, "Perhaps this is just review for you. So tell me, what is the average atomic weight of silver."

"A-Atomic weight?" Evie stuttered, "Well, not very much. I mean is an atom, right?" She and Chad laughed, but her's was cut short by Mr Deley calling her to the front. Evie pressed her lips together, stood silently, and walked up to the front of the class. "Let's see. How do I find the average atomic weight of silver? That would be, one-oh-six-point-nine-oh-five times point-five-two-zero-zero plus one-oh-eight-point-nine-oh-five times point-four-eight-zero-zero, which, Mister Deley, would give us, one-oh-seven-point-nine amu."

"I forget." Mr Deley muttered, "Always a mistake to underestimate-"

"A villain?" Evie interrupted, "Don't make it again." Evie tossed our teacher the chalk. She took the note that Chad handed to her. She sat back down in her seat. Sophia leaned over to see what peeked at the note over her shoulder, it read 'Meet me under the bleachers at 3'.

Later that day, Sophia and Melody found themselves sitting in Mal and Evie's room, bored out of their minds as they rifled through Mal and Evie's clothes. "Mum said 'If a boy can't find the beauty within then he's not worth it.' Can you believe that?" Jane complained, pacing the room. "What world does she live in!" Jane plopped herself on Evie's bed.

"Auradon." Mal scoffed.

"Mal, do you like?" Evie asked, holding up the dress she was sewing.

"Yeah." Mal said, "It's cute. Brings out your eyes."

"I know." Evie complimented herself.

"I'll never get a boyfriend." Jane said.

"Boyfriends are fickle." Sophia sighed, pulling out a blue dress and holding it to her body. "They never last."

"Remember Sean?" Melody asked, "That boy would just not leave you alone."

"He still won't."

"Boyfriends are overrated." Mal commented, blowing something off her drawing.

"How would you know Mal, you've never had a boyfriend." Evie accused.

"It's cause I don't need one E. They're a waste of time." Mal finished, going back to what she was doing. Evie gasped.

"I forgot to do Chad's homework!" She jumped up and went to get Chad's backpack, "Oh no. Oh no, no, no no!" She sat down at the table beside me.

"And that is exactly what I mean." Mal said as Evie started on the homework. Melody and Sophia shared a smirk. Even if Chad was 'good', he was still a jerk, and the twins loved to watch his work. There was a quick knock on the door and a girl strolled in, dressed in pink with a broach nestled in her bun, Lonnie was one of the more upbeat students at Auradon Prep, and Melody hated her with a passion.

"Hey, guys! I'm Lonnie." She introduced. Lonnie was met with blank stares from Mal and Evie. "My mum's Mulan?" Lonnie continued, "No? Ok. I love what you've done with Jane's hair and I know you guys hate us and well, you're evil. But do you think you can do mine?" She asked.

"Why would I do that?" Mal questioned,

"I'll pay you fifty dollars." She replied, holding out a purse that jingled with coins.

"Good answer." Evie declared. She stood and snatched the purse from Lonnie's hand. "I need more material. Let's see, I'm thinking we lose the bangs, maybe some layers-" Lonnie cut her off,

"Oh, no, no, no! I want it cool." She turned to look at Mal, "Like Mal's."

"Realy. The split ends too?" Mal glared at Evie. Evie shook the purse of money in her direction with a raised eyebrow. Mal groaned and picked up her spellbook, opening it.

"Beware forswear, replace the old, with cool hair." Mal recited. Mal moved her finger and Lonnie's head moved with it. Her bob transformed into long brown wavy hair. Lonnie went to look in the full-length mirror.

"I know. I know." Evie put her arm around Lonnie. "It looks like a mop on your head. Let's cut it off, layer it-" Lonnie once again cut Evie off,

"No, no, no! I-I love it!" She exclaimed.

"You do." Evie said, frowning,

"It's just…" Lonnie took her skirt and ripped it. "Now I'm cool." She declared.

"Like Ice." Melody stated. Jane stepped in front of Lonnie. She also ripped her skirt. She then realised what she did.

"What did I just do!" She whimpered, "Mum's gonna kill me!" The twins shared a smirk once more. Later, after Jane and Lonnie left, Carlos came into the carrying a dog. Dude, to be exact, the school's mascot. He plopped himself at the end of Mal's bed and was working on something on a laptop. Mal had retreated to her bed once more and was flipping through her spellbook, Evie was continuing Chad's homework, while the twins had found themselves sorting through Evie's makeup, frowning and downright insulting the lack of products she had as well as the horrid quality of the best-branded ones. Jay then burst through the door, sporting a blue jersey with his name and the number 8 on the back. He leaned against one of Mal's bedposts. Sophia and Melody turned to face him, watching the interactions between the group.

"Did your plan work with Jane?" He asked, "Are you going to see the wand?"

"Do you think I would be going through every spell in these this if I hadn't completely struck out?!" Mal replied irritably.

"Well someone's in a bad mood." Carlos muttered.

"My Mum's counting on me! I can't let her down!" Mal reached forward and flicked the back of Carlos' head.

"We can do this." Jay declared. We all looked at him. "If we stick together." He finished.

"And we won't go back until we do." Mal added. "Cause were rotten."

"To the core." Carlos, Evie and Jay finished. The twins shared a look and rolled their eyes. They had to declare themselves Evil? If someone had walked in at that time, they'd all be thrown back onto the Isle.

"Oh yeah, I found out that Fairy Godmother blesses Ben with the Wand at the Coronation and we all get to go." Evie said nonchalantly. Mal stared at her. "I have nothing to wear of course." Mal's glare turned to the sisters.

"Why didn't you tell us?" She demanded.

"We didn't think you'd take this long to figure out how to get the Wand." Melody said, crossing her arms.

"We saw that this path was a possibility." Sophia added. "Though, we are surprised that this is the path we're taking." There was a knock at the door.

"Hold those thoughts." Mal ordered, pointing to both Evie and the twins. She stood and walked to the door. Mal opened it to reveal Ben.

"Hey Mal!" Ben greeted happily. "I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything, that you needed?"

"Not that I know of…" Mal looked at her friends who shrugged. "Sophia and Melody are helping us out." Ben's eyes flicked to the two in the corner, both giving a short wave.

"Ok, alright, Well if you need anything…" He trailed off, staring` down the hall.

"Oh wait!" Mal exclaimed. Ben paused and walked back to the door. "Is it true that we all get to go to your Coronation?" I questioned, Ben smiled,

"Yeah, the whole school goes."

"Wow, that is beyond exciting. Do you think that it's a possibility that the four of us-" Mal gestured to her friends, "Could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother so we can...soak up all that goodness?" Ben looked like he would let us but he then frowned slightly,

"I wish you could." He said sadly, "But up front it's just me, my folks and my girlfriend."

"And you girlfriend?" Mal repeated, a plan forming in her head.

"Yeah, I'm sorry." Mal smiled brightly at him,

"Ok thanks bye!" Mal said, closing the door in his face. She turned back to her friends with a wicked smile on her lips. "I think it's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend. And I need a love spell." Ma; clapped her hands and Carlos threw the spellbook to Mal who caught it with a giggle.

"This is an interesting path we're taking." Melody mused.

"Out of the thousands of possibilities, this one was most likely." Sophia agreed. "However, I am curious to see how it plays out."
