Later that day, Melody and Sophia met up with Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos in the boy's room one last time to finalise the plan. "Ok, we all know what this looks like." Mal stated. "So it'll be up on the dias, under the Beast's spell jar." Mal pointed to a map to show them where it will be, "Ben will be coming in from here." Mal pointed to the large doors on the map. "I will be in the very front." Mal pointed to where she would be standing. "Melody and Sophia will be here with their parents." Mal dragged her finger over the map to the opposite end of the aisle where the twins would be. "The rest of you will all be up in the balcony. Carlos?" Mal turned to him.
"Ok, so I'll find our limo so we can break the barrier and, uh, get back on the island with the wand." Carlos repeated.
"Perfect. Melody? Sophia?"
"We'll make sure to keep our father out of this." Melody said, crossing her arms.
"And then we'll join up with Carlos alongside our mother to get out of here." Sophia added.
"Evie." Mal turned to her,
"Yeah." She replied,
"You will use this to take out the driver." Mal handed her a bottle with blue liquid inside. "Two sprays and he'll be out like a light." Mal explained.
"Ok." After that, we all dispersed. Carlos and Jay sat on their beds, Jay was playing with his Tourney stick and Carlos was petting Dude. Sophia looked over at Mal. She had opened her spellbook to a page titled 'How To Break A Love Spell'.
"M." Evie started, "You want to break Ben's love spell?" Evie and I sat on either side of Mal.
"Yeah." Mal responded, "You know, for after."
"What do you mean, after?" Sophia asked sternly, standing taller. "You have Ben in your clutches, what reason would you have to let him go?"
"I've just been thinking. When the villains finally do invade Auradon and begin to loot and kick everybody out of there castle's and imprison their leaders and destroy everything that is good and beautiful. Ben being in love with me seems a little extra…" Mal shrugged, "Cruel." Sophia glared at her.
"So, you'll risk the entire plan for your feelings?" Sophia hissed. "We're Villans! We're Evil and Vicious and Ruthless and Cruel, your words, not mine. If this plan fails because you have feelings for an insignificant boy that will most likely be dead by the time our parents take over, it's all on you." Sophia turned on her heel and stalked out of the room, a scowling Melody close behind.
TIMESKIP
"Do you think she's going to do it?" Melody asked as she and her sister prepared for Bed. "Let Ben free of the spell, I mean."
"She's going to go through with it." Sophia informed her. "I've already seen it, this plan is doomed to Fail…"
"So then why are we helping them if we're just going to fail?"
"We can't give people brand new memories." Sophia looked over to her sister. "You know that, right?"
"Yeah, so what?
"Altering memories is so much easier, that's how Mum did it. If we don't build a relationship with them, our future plans will fail. We play the long game, Havskat, you just need to be patient."
