"What just happened?" Carlos asked as he and his three friends raced forward.

"I have no idea!" Mal responded.

"Did you do it?" Evie questioned,

"I don't know!"

"No, no, no, no. your mother did." Fairy Godmother explained, stopping in front of them. "She shrank down to the size of the love in her heart. That's why it's so itty bitty." The four looked down at the purple salamander that was sitting in between them.

"Is she going to stay like that forever?" Mal inquired as she and Fairy Godmother knelt down to the little thing,

"Well, forever is a long time, Sophia learnt to love, so can she." Mal smiled.

"I believe this belongs to you." Mal said, offering the wand to Fairy Godmother.

"And I believe this, belongs to you." She held out Ben's ring to the purple-haired girl. Mal took it as the two stood and she slipped it back onto her finger. "You all have earned ourselves an A in goodness class." The four laughed and Mal and Evie high fived. "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!" Ben rushed forward trying to roar as the rest of the Cathedral un-froze. Sophia and Melody stood back, watching the scene unfold.

"Did it work?" Melody asked softly.

"It had to have." Sophia replied. The Trident had returned to it's comb form, gently nestled in her hair. "No one seems to recognize our betrayal."

"Mal and the others don't seem to recognize us, which is a good thing it seems."

"It is, and all we can do right now is play as if they don't know who we are." Sophia said.

"Let's get this party started!" Jay declared, causing the sisters to turn to the group.

"Ohay Ohey, Hey!" The four shouted.

"I refuse to go to that." Melody huffed.

"No, we have to." Sophia sighed. "To keep up appearances we must."

"Very well."

And so, the sisters had returned to the shadows. The spell cast over the entirety of Auradon shrouded their recollection of the Coronation. Sophia and Melody were mere bystanders to the entire ordeal, unable to act alongside the rest of the attendees. To Auradon Prep, the new students and the Princesses had never spoken a single word to each other, the only interaction they had was less than a nod as they passed in the hallways. The sisters had to plan for their next attack, and this time...they wouldn't fail.
