There was a fan theory that suggested Alex/Zeus would not remain whole when the nuke went off at the end of P1. What if there was a second blob of biomass that was launched in a totally different part of NYC? Perhaps a cast off prototype born from the actions of another? This is the story of Morpheus.

This is about a young woman living in New York in the time when Alex Mercer is roaming around. When she stumbles across some footage she managed to steal from the Gentek database, she discovers Alex and investigates him. She soon finds herself tied up in Mercer's own investigation where they learn about their origins.

Robert Cross is a skilled soldier, this much is true, but from the way he chooses to attack Alex in-game, there's only one way it ends. He's a human whose MELEE WEAPON of choice is a stun baton. He's up against a walking virus that can crush tanks with an elbow drop and kick helicopters out of the sky. There's no way he leaves that fight tbh. This is just something short and sweet.

This is a challenge for all space opera fans out there, to write/ suggest a story in your specific universe, with every Human in the universe turned into an Evolved (As James Heller-like)-ability to consume something, take on the appearance and obtain the powers of it, and switch between different consumed shapes and powers at will.
