Time for something that is long overdue. My picks for the Top 10 Tiny Toon Adventures characters. I'll be ranking the original versions, and not the reboot versions.
Number 10: Hamton J. Pig
The every-man of the Tiny Toons. The pig who is obsessed with cleaning and eating and puts up with everyone's antics. Dizzy, Furrball, and especially Plucky, Hamton has put up with a lot of crazy antics from his friends, and you've just got to root for him for that fact.
Number 9: Plucky Duck
Everyone's favorite egotistical green duck himself, the ego-maniac of the bunch. His antics are always entertaining. BatDuck, the Toxic Revenger, even Baby Plucky, whenever Plucky is on screen, expect some real entertainment. If only he got more respect from his friends in the show, especially the Spring Break special. But alas.
Number 8: Gogo Dodo
The dodo from Wackyland himself, this guy has the most versatile style of humor with his ability to do basically whatever he wants whenever he wants. Mind blowing and humorous, this dodo puts the Wacky in Wackyland.
Number 7: Shirley the Loon
Shirley is, like, totally an interesting character or some junk. Her intelligence and psychic abilities are always entertaining for the Tiny Toons. And she's always warding off the affections of Plucky and Fowlmouth, but she never ended up with a special someone. If I ever decide to rank their reboot selves, I'd have some things to say about her reboot self.
Number 6: Buster Bunny
One half of the two biggest characters in the series, Buster is the more smooth and charismatic of him and Babs, but he does have his fair share of disguising to outwit whoever he tries to outwit. Whenever he's the main star, it's time to party: Buster Bunny style!
Number 5: Dizzy Devil
A character who is a textbook definition of a party animal, Dizzy Devil is a spinning, food-obsessed fun character. He's popular with the (human) ladies and can destroy just about anything. This purple Tasmanian Devil takes after his mentor in more ways than one.
Number 4: Babs Bunny
And now we move onto the other half of the two biggest characters in Tiny Toons. Babs is an expert of impressions and symbolises Bugs' wackier and disguise-donning side. She really shines, especially when she's with her friends such as Buster, Plucky, Hamton, Shirley, and Fifi. Just don't call her Barbara Ann.
Number 3: Calamity Coyote
The genius protege to Wile E Coyote, Calamity, although hasn't had any speaking roles, has earned his spot on this list. He still helps his friends, although he does ally with Montana Max at times, so does Dizzy. Whether he's trying to catch Little Beeper or do other genius things, Calamity is still a great character in my opinion.
Number 2: Fifi La Fume
Be honest: are you surprised Fifi is on this list? She's probably the most well-known character in the show, even more so than Buster and Babs. She has great chemistry with Babs and Shirley, which makes the Amazing Three all the more memorable.
Before I reveal the number one Tiny Toon, here are some honourable mentions:
Little Beeper- A character who has grown on me in the years I've loved Tiny Toons.
Lil Sneezer- A mouse whose sneezes could level entire buildings.
Mary Melody- Debatably one of the most underrated characters in the series.
Montana Max- A real well-written villain.
Byron Basset- A lazy yet heroic dog.
And now it's time for the number one pick. For those who know me or read a lot of my stories, you might already know who it is.
Number 1:
There is no contest. Furrball is, hands down, my favorite Tiny Toons character. Whenever he appears, his cartoons are usually entertaining, heartwarming, heartbreaking, or all three at once. He's endured so much crap in the show that he's the strongest toon on the inside. Seriously, this guy has endured Elmyra more than the other characters. That cat deserves a home, food, love, and friends. He is certainly one good cat.
And that concludes my top ten. Who is your favorite Tiny Toons character?
