Chapter 15: The Arctic:
Jack's POV:
Now that Evox has his own body, maybe he'll be easy to beat, I mean he can't get in the computers anymore, but why do I have a feeling he's actually more dangerous? Probably because he's more mobile.
"We have a job," says Duke, "anyone ready for a trip to the Arctic?"
"Did he just say Arctic," asks Miko.
. . .
We arrived in the Arctic.
"How does it feel to see snow," asks Miko.
"It's beautiful," says Raf, "but I do have a problem with the cold."
"By the way," says Duke, "Action Man's letting us borrow his arctic wolf, Blizzard."
Spike sniffs the wolf's butt, but the wolf then growls at him.
"Just trying to get to know him," says Spike.
"What is the mission," asks Twilight.
"Blackthorne and Badvibes have been spotted here."
"Evox probably wants something here," I said.
"I think it's obvious," says Spike, "we're in the Arctic. Evox wants to ruin Christmas!"
"Or, because he's not a character from a Dr. Seus book," says Brightmore, "it's something that's actually not silly."
"Either way," says Duke, "let's look for those two."

We started searching for Evox's goons.
"Evox now has a body," says Miko, "so why didn't he go with them?"
"He probably feels he doesn't need to," says Dr. Robertson.
"Army Ants," says Raf.
We were faced with some Army Ants. We fought them off using NERF blasters, Raf's Maximal powers, Ra-Vu, and Twilight's magic. There was then a snowstorm, and everything went dark.
. . .
"You can wake up now."
I woke up and saw an old man. He was kind of overweight and had a white beard. He probably gets this a lot, but he looked a lot like Santa Claus.
"Who are you," I asked.
"I'm Nickolas Klaus, Arctic Researcher."
"I'm... wait, I need to find my team!"
"Allow me to help you, Jack."
"I... didn't get to tell you, my name."
"You could say I'm really good at guessing."
There was something about this guy, but I decided finding my team and stopping Blackthorne and Badvibes were more important.
"We can take my snowmobile."
We get on it and take off.

We traveled through the Arctic.
"I think I see something," I said.
We stopped and I picked it up.
"It's Miko's glove."
"She's a good kid," says Dr. Klaus, "but she really needs to listen."
"You're starting to creep me out," I said.
"I get that alot."
"Hey, how can you handle the cold?"
"Well, my Father was a Frost Giant."
Poor guy. He must've been alone for so long, he's talking crazy. We went off.
. . .
"... and that's why we came here," I said.
"Well, Jack, I think I know what those two naughty boys are here for."
"Did you just say naughty boys?"
"There's a red radioactive crystal, but it's found in the Arctic Sea."
"What could they want with it?"
"Sorry, but even I don't know everything."
"Wait, look, it's Blizzard's paw prints."
"Then we're on the right trail! Let's go!"
"I've been meaning to ask, why was your snowmobile hidden?"
"So, my wife wouldn't find it. The way she drives could scare Action Man and he's all about dangerous stunts."
"Considering he has a wolf, I believe that."
. . .
As we followed the trail, I heard something. It sounded like my team was calling my name.
"I think we're getting closer!"
"JACK!"
We finally found them.
"Guys!"
"Jack," Miko and Raf said as they approached me.
"We've all been looking for you," says Miko.
"And I've been looking for you guys," I said, "with help from Dr. Klaus."
"Where is he," asks Raf.
"He's..." I realized he was gone. He couldn't have been a mirage. I mean, I rode on his snowmobile. Didn't I?
"He probably had to get back to work," says Duke.
"Guys, I think I know where Blackthorne and Badvibes are."

In the Arctic's Sea of Ice, Blackthorne and Badvibes were looking for that crystal Dr. Klaus mentioned.
"Where is it," asks Blackthorne.
"We better find it," says Badvibes, "or Evox will force us to move here."
"There's a nice cell you guys could live in," says Duke.
"Army Ants, attack," says Blackthorne.
"Unit: E, let's play rough!"
We took on the Army Ants. Duke took on Blackthorne, and Dr. Robertson took on Badvibes.
Twilight finds the crystal and levitates it.
"I got it," she said.
An Army Ant then tackles her, and the crystal falls on some ice and the ice starts to melt.
I tried to grab for it, but I couldn't risk touching it. Then I looked at Ra-Vu.
"Brightmore," I said, "I think Ra-Vu can grab the crystal.
"Ra-Vu, the Crystal!"
Ra-Vu then picks up the crystal. Some Army Ants climb up on him, but Ra-Vu shakes them off.
"Give us the Crystal!" Blackthorne tries to attack Brightmore, but Duke knocks him down.
"Team, let's get out of here, fast," says Duke.
. . .
We took a jet back home.
I told the others about Dr. Klaus.
"He knew my name and knew about you, Miko."
"Sounds like a stalker," says Miko.
"Actually," says Twilight, "he sounds alot like Santa Claus."
"Come on," I said, "I think I would know if I met Santa Claus. I mean, true he does kind of look like him, but the guy travels on a snowmobile."
"That doesn't mean he has reindeers," says Raf.
"Well, I got news for you guys," says Duke, "there is no record of a researcher named Nicholas Klaus."
"Wait, what?"
"Then whoh did Jack meet," asks Brightmore.
"Maybe this is something we can just not worry about," says Dr. Robertson.
"One thing we do have to worry about," says Duke, "what Evox is up to."
In the next chapter, a Unit: E scientist becomes Meltdown.
