Chapter 16: Meltdown:
Dr. Robertson's POV:
Raf and I were in the lab, testing Raf's cybernetic abilities. So far, we have learned that he can fly and shoot energy blasts. Then Dr. Prometheus Black entered.
"I hope you don't ruin my experiments," he said.
"We're just testing Raf's cybernetic abilities," I said.
"Machines, when my experiments are done, we won't need them."
The Director Flagg enters. "Black, we need to talk!"
"Is there a problem, Sir?"
"We found out what your experiments are, and I'll have to say, no one approves."
"I could create the perfect super agents..."
"There was a man who tried the same idea," says Director Flagg, "his initials were Dr. Mindbender!"
"My bio-enhanced agents would be different..."
"I'm sorry, but I have a thing against experimenting on humans."
"If that is what you're doing, then I agree," I said, "I knew a man who created supervillains!"
"You are all too soft to see the potential! I will make you all see! And you will especially pay, Flagg!" Black then leaves.
"He seems to really hold a grudge against you," I said.
"He's my ex," says Director Flagg.
"I see."
Dr. Black's POV:
First my older brother, Augustus Black, telling me that I can't study the viruses made by Umbrella, then my younger twin sister, Melinda Black, who refused to go out with a guy that I picked for her all because I didn't approve of that Finster guy, and now Lawrence Flagg, who not only dumped me for unknown reasons but also canceled my research.
I was working privately on my research. Flagg has gone too far, and he will pay. I was studying some fluid from one of those Autobots those kids from Duke's team talk about. Then I dropped something and there was an accident, one that started to change me... for the better!
Dr. Robertson's POV:
Raf and I were heading back to our sector, but the rest of our team showed up.
"Is there a problem," I asked.
"The Director's in trouble," says Duke, "let's go!"
. . .
We headed over to the Director's office where we saw it. It was some sort of acidic monster.
"What are you," asks Twilight.
"You can call me Meltdown!"
"That voice," I said, "it's Dr. Black."
Raf fires an energy blast, but Meltdown dodges and throws some of his acidic ooze, but we get out of the way.
"This guy should really avoid handshakes," says Miko.
Brightmore summons Ra-Vu, who tries to grab Meltdown, but Meltdown is too hard to touch, even for a light creature.
"Now, if you excuse me," Meltdown says, "I'm gonna give Flagg a big hug or the best kiss ever." Meltdown melts through Flagg's office, but... "WHERE IS HE?"
Duke crashes into the office and sees they're both gone.
"Team, we have to find them!"
"Where did the Director go," asks Jack.
"Let's ask around," says Duke.
. . .
Eventually, I spoke to Jem. Apparently, Flagg is in Area 51.
"He goes there in case there are aliens that could be useful for Unit: E."
"He does like his weirdoes," I said.
. . .
We arrived at Area 51.
"Listen to me," says Duke, "an acidic monster is coming after Director Flagg!"
"I assure you; no one can get into Area 51!"
"What's that," asks Miko.
The soldier looks and sees that something has melted through a wall.
"Well, almost no one..."
. . .
We ran through the halls of Area 51.
Miko stopped and looked at the alien.
"Hey, that's a Velgrox," says Miko, "Bulk told me about them!"
"We have Meltdown," says Brightmore.
"Right!"
Director Flagg's POV:
I was in the general's office alone, but I heard something. I then took a look and saw what it was. Some sort of creature that looked like it was made of acid.
"Hey Larry."
"Prometheus?"
"As if it wasn't bad enough you dumped me..."
"You were too full of yourself and rude to everyone!"
"But you also cancelled my research!"
"I was thinking about human safety!"
"Well, now you won't be safe!"
He steps up to me, makes his face closer to mine, and I realize what he's going to do. The Kiss of Death!
Dr. Robertson's POV:
We managed to arrive and saw Meltdown about to melt Director Flagg.
"Whoah, he's about to do The Kiss of Death," says Miko.
"Don't you guys get it," says Meltdown, "you're no match for me!"
Twilight then levitates him, but Meltdown then throws some acid at her eyes, blinding her.
"AAAGGHH!"
"Unit: E, let's play rough," says Duke.
Some of us fired our NERF blasters, Raf used his energy blasts, and Brightmore used Ra-Vu.
"Don't any of you get it," says Meltdown, "I am invincible!" Meltdown looks and sees Flagg got away. "FLAGG!" Meltdown then goes after him.
"Split up," says Duke, "and if you find Meltdown, apprehend him!"

Raf and I searched for both Director Flagg and Meltdown.
"Even if we do find him," I said, "we still need a way to contain him."
"But how," asks Raf.
"I don't know."
"I hear something," says Raf.
I followed Raf.
. . .
We arrived and saw that Flagg tried to fight Meltdown, but he was overpowered.
"I'm gonna make you literally melt with my kiss," says Meltdown.
"I can't believe the two used to date," says Raf.
"I can't believe we're saving Director Flagg from an evil ex," I said.
"You people have gotten in my way for the last time," says Meltdown, "now, I'm gonna melt you!"
I tried to blast him with a NERF blaster, but it didn't work. Because Raf was closer, he approached him.
"RAF!"
Just as he was about to melt Raf, Raf created an energy forcefield that protected him.
"I wonder," says Raf, who then puts his forcefield around Meltdown, containing him.
"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!"
"Forcefield," says Director Flagg, "not bad."
. . .
Meltdown was imprisoned, placed in a cell next to the frozen Chrysalis.
"You did good," says Flagg, "thank you."
"It was our pleasure, Sir," says Raf.
"Now, Beach Head, I want you and your team to eliminate any trace of Black's research."
"What do we even have to do with any of this," asks Beach Head.
"Dismiss," says Director Flagg.
As we walked away, I started to wonder. What else could Raf be capable of?
In the next chapter, the Team deals with Action Man's archenemy, Dr. X.
