Chapter 19: The Misfits:
Miko's POV:
I was trying to find something to watch on TV, but there was nothing on. And I mean nothing. There is something on the news about one of those aliens in New York fighting that Hyperion guy. Man, I wish we could be on the news, but Unit: E has to be a secret. Lame. Anyway, Twilight was reading a book.
"Miko, I'm trying to read."
"Don't worry you're not bothering me."
"Can you at least pick something?"
"There's nothing to watch."
"Then why try?"
"Hey, that's pretty catchy, Twi."
Then Jerrica entered.
"My team's unavailable, can anyone in your team help me with a problem?"
"Sure," says Twilight.
"I'm in," I said.
. . .
We were at Jerrica's place.
"Someone's been kidnapping the members of my band," says Jerrica.
"You mean the Holograms," I said, "like the holograms you use to become Jem. Man that's clever."
"Any ideas," asks Twilight.
"I think Erica Raymond may be behind it."
Raymond's POV:
I was doing some paperwork when I heard a crash. I decided to check what it was, but I have a feeling I know.

I entered the room and saw my idiots... I mean Misfits arguing.
"I'm just saying, I should have some credit," says Roxy, "I'm the one who set up the trap!"
"I'm the one who lured them in the trap," says Jetta.
"Well, I'm the Brains," says Pizzazz.
"If that were true, then no wonder you all needed me," I said.
"Erica, we were just..." Stormer started.
"It's Miss Raymond, and you were all nobody until I made you what you are. Now, there is still one last hologram, Jem. None of you grabbed her."
"We don't know where she is," says Pizzazz.
"Find her... wait, she'll probably come to us. I have some questions for her and it's time I get an answer."
"There is my Martian theory," says Roxy.
"My fault," I said, "I should've said intelligent answer, which I can't get from here. Now, make yourselves useful, Roxy, Jetta, set things up, Pizzazz, make sure Jem gets a message, Stormer, feed the prisoners." They were all still standing there. "Do I need to use smaller words? GO!" They left. I swear, if I was a man, I bet I would've used the Stingers.
Miko's POV:
We were looking for clues.
"So, who's this Raymond lady," I asked.
"She's a middle-aged woman still clinging to the little youth she has left," Jerrica says, "she was the CEO of Starlight Records, but then she lost it to her son, my boyfriend."
"That must've stunk," I said.
"I think she blames me for it," says Jerrica.
"You got a letter," says Twilight.
Jerrica reads it. "It's from the Misfits, a band that works for Raymond. They want Jem to show up at Raymond's place."
"Can your weird robot friend still work," I asked.
"First of all, you shouldn't judge someone for being friends with a robot," says Jerrica, reminding me of the Autobots, "and second, I have no other choice. Show time, Synergy." Jerrica then switched to Jem mode.
"We'll accompany you," says Twilight.

We all arrived at Raymond's place. We were meeting Erica Raymond and the Misfits.
"Jem, so good to see you," says Raymond.
"Where are they, Raymond," asks Jem.
"Now, now, be patience," says Raymond, "you will be joining them soon enough, but first, who are your friends?"
"And is that purple thing contagious," asks Pizzazz.
"Why do people keep questioning my skin," asks Twilight.
"Look, we want answers," I said, "so if you don't start singing, then we're gonna start dancing."
"I'm sorry, but I leave the singing and dancing to the Misfits, but you can face the music." Raymond snaps her fingers, and we all fall through a trap door. "Welcome to my parlor says the spider to the fly!"

I woke up and saw were in a weird room with the Holograms. "So, did we just get trapped by a music producer?"
"Afraid so," says one girl, Shana.
"I guess being a Unit: E agent isn't that easy," says another girl, Kimber.
"Wait, you know about Unit: E," asks Twilight.
"I trust them," says Jerrica.
"Well, we need a way out," I said. I tried to push the walls.
"We need to think of a plan," says Twilight.
I don't do plans, so I just ignored her.
"Good team," says Aja.
"They're not in my team," says Jerrica.
"Wait," says Twilight, "where's my stone?"
"Sorry, I'm a bit of a klepto," says Aja.
"Well, anyway, I'm Miko and this is Twilight."
"Nice to meet you," says Kimber, "I'm..."
"I know," I said, "Kimber, Shana, and Aja."
"We need a way out," says Jerrica, "too bad the Misfits don't have the heart to let us out."
"Actually, Stormer's not so bad," says Kimber, "she's pretty nice, and has silky hair, and sparkly eyes, and her lips..." We all looked at her. "What?"
"How nice would you say," asks Twilight.

Stormer came in with some snacks.
"I got you some food," says said.
"Stormer, why do you do what Raymond says," asks Jerrica.
"She's gonna make us all famous," says Stormer, "that's what it's all about."
"But she treats you all like idiots," says Shana, "and while I agree, Pizzazz, Roxy, and Jetta aren't too bright, that doesn't give her a right."
"We... I didn't have much before Miss Raymond. I was a nobody."
"That can't be," says Kimber, "I mean, look at you, you're so beautiful."
"You... you really think so," asks Stormer.
"I know so."
Stormer looked at Kimber, but then looked away and blushed.
"Anyway," I said, "you know what's a good way to show Raymond, letting us out."
"I... I can't do that!"
"It's time you stand up to her," says Twilight.
"What's it gonna be," asks Aja.
Raymond's POV:
This time has come for rehearsal.
"Okay, now that the Holograms are out of the way, it's time to practice."
"Do we need to practice," asks Pizzazz, "we're the best now."
"Yes, you do," I said, "now where is Stormer?"
Stormer came in. "Sorry I'm late, Miss Raymond."
"Good, now we can... hold on." I noticed something strange about Stormer's face and took a closer look. It was lipstick... on her cheek and it wasn't her own color, but I recognize it as Kimber's. I then slapped Stormer. "YOU IDIOT, YOU LET THEM ESCAPE!"
"You know what," says Stormer, "they're right. I'm tired of the way you treat us! We're smarter than you think. It's time we stand up against you. Who's with me?"
"Those Holograms could ruin our chances for the big time," says Pizzazz, "let's go find them!"
Pizzazz, Roxy, and Jetta leave.
"Sorry, but I'm in control," I said.
Miko's POV:
Thanks to Stormer, we all got out, though Twilight suspects that because Kimber had to kiss Stormer, Raymond probably figured us out.
"We have to split up," says Jerrica, "come on!"
We all took separate directions.

Twilight and I went through one hall where we ran into Raymond herself, who had a tied up Stormer.
"First my son, now Stormer," says Raymond, "those Holograms are very seductive."
"I got this," says Twilight, who tries to levitate Raymond, "Aja has my stone doesn't she?"
"Klepto," says Miko.
Raymond then reveals a black belt and I mean karate.
"Oh, come on," says Miko, "that is way too random!"
Raymond was about to attack, but I grabbed a chair and hit her with it.
"Miko, we need a plan," says Twilight.
"Against a karate music producer," I said, "sometimes, you gotta improvise."
Raymond karate kicked the chair out of my hands and was about to strike, but then Twilight started to sing.
Twilight Sparkle: I've walked through all these halls before
I've been in and out of every door, oh-whoa-oh
There's nothin' in this school that I don't know
In every class, my grade's the best
The highest score on every test
I think that means it's time for me to go
I know there's more that's out there
And I just haven't found it yet
I know there's more that's out there
Another me I haven't met
We were all confused.
Twilight Sparkle: This school is full of people
But still, I don't belong
They only dream of winning
Look at me like something's wrong
Maybe I'm better off alone
Will I find what I'm lookin' for
Twilight then knocks Raymond out.
"You can sing," I asked.
"Where I come from, we do it alot."
"I have so many questions."

We returned and saw Pizzazz, Roxy, and Jetta tied up.
"They really aren't that bright," says Shana.
. . .
Raymond was reported to the police and was taken in. She had that 'I'm going to get back at you for this' look on her face. The Misfits had to go, but Kimber gives Stormer another kiss before they're taken in.
"Pizzazz's Dad is rich," says Jerrica, "so she'll probably be out."
. . .
Back at the base, Twilight, Jerrica, and I were all watching TV, and there was nothing on. Brightmore was reading.
"Do any of you mind," asks Brightmore.
"Don't worry," I said.
"You're not bothering us," says Twilight.
