Chapter 25: MASS (1):
Miko's POV:
Okay, so, here's what we know so far. Evox, an evil computer virus, is working on a big project, and he took control of Unit: E's Army Ants for help, and he has also recruited Blackthorne and Dr. Badvibes. He also managed to make himself a new robot body. Anyway, he's been busy. He was after three weird things. A red radioactive crystal from the Arctic's Sea of Ice, heavy water from one of the world's deepest trenches, and a meteorite from a volcano called the Ring of Fire. Thanks to Raf, we got the meteorite, but we still don't know Evox's plan. But I think Duke's getting an idea. We're all trying to figure it out. Okay, the truth is, I'm working on something else. You don't need to know. You don't want to know.
"We still don't know what Evox is up to," says Jack.
"We'll figure it out," says Duke, "but there is something to these elements. Unfortunately, I'm no scientist."
"Army Ants are attacking," says Director Flagg.
"Evox is here," says Duke, "let's move!"
Everyone else leaves, but me and Spike stay, and I figured something out.
"Spike, we need to talk."

We caught up with the others. The Army Ants were surrounding the base, and every agent of Unit: E was defending the base. The problem is, our base is a toy company and it's a public location, so everyone sees the secret organization fighting the robot ants.
"Okay, that is something we're not ignoring," says one guy.
"Everyone sees," says Twilight.
"This place should've been in a place where no one could see us," I said.
Jack, Duke, Dr. Robertson, and I used NERF blasters. Twilight used her magic, Brightmore summoned Ra-Vu, and Raf used his Maximal powers. Then Blackthorne and Badvibes came. Duke took on Blackthorne, and Dr. Robertson took on Badvibes.
Evox's POV:
During the fight, I managed to ssssneak in and make my way to the lab where they were holding the meteorite. Alsssso, there were other thingssss, like a frozen inssssectoid woman. She could be usssseful. I thawed her out.
"I have a job for you," I ssssaid, "but firsssst, I would like to know your powerssss."
Miko's POV:
The fight was still going on, but something occurs to me. Where was Evox? What if he already got inside. I then ran in to find him.

I'll admit, I didn't think this through because he was a robot snake dude, and I don't even have the Apex Armor to back me up. I do have a NERF blaster, but I don't think that will beat him. Then I found Spike.
"Oh, what's up, Little Purple Dog Dude?"
"I found Evox, follow me!"
I followed him, but then I had a thought. What if Evox got to the lab?
"So, uh, remember what we talked about earlier today?"
"Of course. We were talking about Evox."
I then picked him up.
"I accused the real Spike of eating my chips, Chrysalis!"
Spike then turned to me, and we fought. It sure was creepy, fighting myself, but then again, this girl was like a living horror movie. Chrysalis then managed to get away by turning into a fly.
"Guys," I called the others, "Evox probably has what he wants."

I ran outside and saw the others still fighting the Army Ants.
"Where's Evox," asks Duke.
"Right here," says Evox, with the meteorite and Chrysalis, "and now I have the final piecccce to complete my M.A.S. Devicccce!"
"No," says Duke.
"You can fill them in later," says Evox as he and his goons leave.
"What's he talking about," asks Twilight.

"The Molecular Assembler Scrambler/Sender," says Duke, "it's a highly secret project developed by Dr. Patrick O'Hara for Cobra Industries. The device breaks down the subject's particles, stabilizes them through a special crystal, and transports the subject through a subspace wormhole, which Dr. O'Hara described as 'a Lincoln Tunnel of physics', to be reassembled without degradation on the other end. Dr. O'Hara hoped to use the Device's power to benefit humanity and unite the world."
"But I take it, his boss didn't feel that way," I said.
"Cobra only wanted to exert their power over the rest of the world."
"Have you seen this thing before," asks Jack.
"Cobra Commander was going to use it to teleport an army of Bio-Vipers around the world."
"And Evox could use it to teleport an army of Army Ants," says Twilight.
"And maybe other forms of chaos," says Brightmore.
"We have to find Evox's base," says Duke, "and stop that snake for good!"
Evox's POV:
At lasssst, the power issss mine. With my M.A.S. devicccce, I can teleport my Army Antssss anywhere I want, and no one can sssstop me! Blackthorne, Badvibessss, and Chrysalissss entered.
"We're ready to take over the world," ssssayssss Blackthorne.
"About that..." Let'ssss jusssst ssssay I deccccided their sssservicessss are no longer required. "Now to begin my goal!"
