Chapter 26: MASS (2):

Jack's POV:

In case you missed it, here's what happened last time. Evox sent his Army Ants to attack Unit: E, and we all had to hold them off, but what we didn't know was that Evox managed to sneak in. Luckily, Miko had her suspicions and decided to sneak back in, where she found Chrysalis disguised as Spike. Miko then fought Chrysalis, who managed to get away with Evox, and then we learned what Evox was up to. He plans to complete his own M.A.S.S. device, and we have to stop him from invading the world. As we speak, everyone's getting ready, but there is one question.

"Where's Spike," asks Twilight.

Esox's POV:

"Look," ssssayssss the purple dog, who issss now trapped in a bird cage, "maybe, there'ssss ssssome good in you, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep..."

"Will you shut up? I have work to do."

I wassss getting my Army Antssss ready to be teleported.

"Time to do what I wassss created to do!"

"Who created you?"

"Take a guessssss!"

Jack's POV:

Dr. Robertson was working on the NERF blasters.

"You okay," I asked.

"I was just thinking about my time working for Rook. I was just a scientist, then I became a giant monster."

"How did Multi-Farious work?"

"Well, it's like this, you know when your head comes off, you die?"

"Yeah?"

"But when Multi-Farious's head comes off, the body just gets a mind of its own. I never did learn if I had a limit. Ironically, Rook was the one who cured me. Go figure."

"Do you miss that power?"

"Well, it was nice to be really strong, but I'm happy being a human scientist."

I was walking down the hall when I saw Brightmore.

"What are you doing?"

"Loohking at some Kaijudoh spells that could be of assistance stopp Evox," says Brightmore.

"Hey, why did you betray the Duel Masters?"

"We had rules. Ne'ah touch the creatures and ne'ah befriend them. Thanking yourselves greatly to ah group of children, that changed. One guess One fie couldn't handle the changes. Soh, One sided with the Choten, but then one realized what ah baaarmy chap he was and decided to turn against him. One couldn't jolly well goh beck to the Duel Masters, soh, here One is noh."

"And what are you going to do?"

"Whatevah it takes to stopp Evox."

I was walking down the halls again and I saw Twilight. She was looking at a picture of her friends.

"Those your friends?"

"Yep," says Twilight.

"They sure look... normal?" Seriously, where is she from? "So, how did you meet them?"

"Well, it's kind of embarrassing, but I was from a rival school, and I started studying magic, but then my research turned me into a horrible demon girl. Luckily, my friends managed to snap me out of it. And one of them is probably in Evox's clutches."

"We're gonna get him back."

I was taking another walk and this time, I saw Duke. He was practicing.

"So, I don't suppose you can tell me about the last time you saw the M.A.S.S. device?"

"At the time, my friends and I were fugitives," says Duke, "but we were in a shadow war with Cobra, while also running from Flint. Cobra Commander was ruthless, and he had to be stopped. We managed to take him down, but I don't know if he survived."

"What did you do?"

"I knocked him into a vat of acidic bio-viper fluid."

"Ooookaaay. I doubt he survived that."

"I don't know, Jack."

I entered the briefing room and saw Director Flagg trying to find Evox's location.

"Where could he be?"

I then had a call. "Gotta answer." I answered the phone, it was Sierra.

"Hey Jack."

"Hey Sierra. We're kind of in the middle..."

"This about your new job?"

"Pretty much. Heck, I missed out on alot of things."

"Well, I've heard some weird things, like a report of robot bugs in Big Sur National Park."

And that told me where Evox is.

All the agents were gathered around for Director Flagg.

"Thanks to Agent Darby, we now have an idea of where to find Evox, so I'm sending Team 84 will be scouting the area."

"Alright Jack," says Miko.

"Hm, first, he got the idea from some girlfriend," says Beach Head, "and second, it could've just been a rumor."

"That's why they're going to check it out," says Director Flagg, "any sign of Evox and everyone's going. Good luck, Team 84."

We were checking the area. So far, it seems normal.

"Where are those dumb bugs," asks Miko.

"Maybe it was just a rumor," says Twilight.

"Wait old spice," says Brightmore, "One heaaar something..."

Some Army Ants came out and we all fought them off. We managed to win.

"They came from the ground," says Raf.

"He's here," says Duke. Duke then calls for backup and every agent of Unit: E showed up. We then dug through the ground.

Evox's POV:

"Do you ssssee, Purple Dog, I am about to achieve victory!"

"I have a name!"

"Nothing will..." I then realized something wassss digging into my lair. "DESSSSTROY THE INTRUDERSSSS!"

Jack's POV:

We managed to get in and the Army Ants were facing us. We fought through them, but Duke managed to get to Evox.

"Evie, I'm here to take you out. Where are your buddies?"

"You mean thesssse?"

Evox reveals the bodies of Blackthorne, Badvibes, and Chrysalis.

"You're a sick bot."

"And you are nothing!"

Duke and Evox then fought.

Twilight manages to get to the controls.

"Twilight?"

Twilight looks and sees Spike in a bird cage.

"Spike, is that you?"

"Evox is gonna send his Army Ants all over the world!"

"I know, we're here to stop him."

As we fought through the Army Ants, I managed to get to the power source and was about to fire at it, but then an Army Ant grabbed me.

"Let go, you..."

The Army Ant throws me away. I then blasted its head off.

"Why are robot bugs, jerks?"

Duke and Evox continue to fight.

I was about to blast the power source, but Evox sees that and blasts my NERF blaster.

"That figures."

"Fools, there is nothing you can do," says Evox.

"Maybe there is one thing," says Raf, who then enters the M.A.S.S.

"Raf, what are you doing," I asked.

"I think I know how I can end this," says Raf.

"Please tell me it doesn't involve sacrificing yourself," says Miko.

Raf uses his full Maximal power and creates a large explosion.

. . .

After the explosion, we all got out, but not all of us.

"Poor foolssss," says Evox, "your little freaky friend issss now gone and..." But before Evox could continue, I picked up my NERF blaster and blew up his head. The body then fell to the ground.

"Let's go," says Duke.

Then we all heard something. Raf came from the ground.

"Don't ever let me do that again," says Raf.

"Raf," Miko and I both said as we ran to him.

At the base, Dr. Robertson has deleted the Evox virus from the robot.

"That's it," says Dr. Robertson, "the Evox virus is officially deleted."

"Team 84," says Director Flagg, "none of this could be possible without any of you. You're the ones that destroyed Evox and the M.A.S.S. device."

"I guess so," says Beach Head as he begrudgingly agrees.

Everyone then applauded us. Then the strangest thing happened. Spike sneezed fire.

"Where'd that come from?"

Mysterious Stranger's POV:

Looks like my virus failed. Oh well, he was a threat to my plans anyway. I should begin Plan B. "Come Serpentor." My pet snake then followed me. It's time to show everyone who is in command.

The next season will bring in Cobra Commander, Stretch Monster, and the Choten. It will also introduce the Infinity Sword. Plus, Team 84 will get a new member. However, the next season will be delayed 'til after Unit: E's guest appearance in The Ultimate Ben 10.
