Chapter 27: Stretch Monster:
Raf's POV:
For those of you just joining us, first, we are an organization known as Unit: E. We fight to keep the world safe. My team and I took down a computer virus named Evox. Then, we teamed up with a team of heroes that work for S.H.I.E.L.D. to stop a Martian from destroying the Earth. Now, we're all just chilling at our new HQ.
"Why do we need a new base," asks Miko.
"Because ours is too exposed," says Director Flag, "welcome to our new HQ, codenamed 'Mystery Mansion'."
"It... looks like a dump," says Miko.
"The old house part is just a facade," says the Director, "the real base is under it."
. . .
We're now in the basement area.
"Now we're talkin'," says Miko.
"Where are we bunked," asks Twilight.
"I'll show you later," says the Director," but first, you have a mission in Charter City."
"That's my hometown," says Dr. Robertson.
"There are reports of a strange meteorite, and I want you to check it out."
"We'll be there," says Duke.
"Guess there's no rest for us," says Jack.

We were at Charter City. It was like we were in the future. The location was a part of the city called 'Old Town.' According to Dr. Robertson, it's like the city's underworld and it's the home turf of the city's gangs and crime families.
"We have to be careful guys," says Dr. Robertson, "we may run into people like The Daggers of the Sables."
We looked around, but so far, nothing. Spike even sniffed, but all he found was dust, which made him sneeze out fire. Then I found something, and it wasn't a meteorite...
"What are you?"
The green creature then stretched his arm and pushed me away.
"Stretch Monster," says Dr. Robertson.
"Hello Don and goodbye."
The Creature then stretched his arm and swung away.
"What was that thing," asks Twilight.
"His name is Stretch Monster," says Dr. Robertson, "he's what happens when a normal man mixes with Flexarium."
"And Flexarium is..." asks Duke.
"Stretchy stuff."
"He may know where the meteorite is," says Brightmore.
"Luckily I know where to find him," says Dr. Robertson, "because I know his real name."

We headed to Rook Unlimited. Apparently, Stretch Monster is also Charter City's biggest man, Jonathan Rook.
"It's easier if we snuck in," says Dr. Robertson, "I have a feeling Rook would be expecting us."
"Let's go, Team," says Duke.
. . .
Jack, Miko, and I went through the vents. Rook's security team were everywhere. As we continued walking, I stopped and saw what looked like snakeskin. I wonder what that was.
"Over here," says Jack.
We found Rook's office. Rook was standing there. Then he turned to Stretch Monster, stretched his arm, and pulled us out of the vents.
"Nice try kids," says Stretch Monster, "but the vents are the most cliched way of sneaking in. Besides, I have eyes everywhere. I know that Duke, the purple girl, and the purple dog are levitating in, and I know that Dr. Robertson, and the British man are coming in disguised as guards."
"Wait, how do you know Duke's name," asks Jack.
"Wouldn't you like to know."
There was a knock on the door. Stretch Monster then pushed us into the closet and turned to Rook.
It was two guys.
"Mr. Rook, we're not too sure about the bug bots we found."
"Look, if you guys don't think you can turn them back on..."
"That's not what he said. I bet you 3 billion Dollars we can!"
The two left.
"I'm gonna owe him 3 billion dollars, but it will be worth it."
Stretch Monster then let us out.
"Your employees don't know," says Jack.
"Of course, they don't," says Stretch Monster, "who wants to work for... a monster?"
"I would," says Miko.
We all look at Miko. "What?!" says Miko.
I then prepared an energy blast and Stretch Monster seemed to notice.
"You're not entirely human yourself, are you?"
I then blasted him to a wall, and we ran.
. . .
We entered the lab and found the rest of the team.
"Did you find anything," asks Duke.
"We ran into Stretch Monster," says Jack, "Duke, he knows your name."
"That's weird," says Duke, "I've never even been to Charter City."
"You were on the news when you were framed," says Twilight.
"Guys, I don't think the meteorite is a meteorite," I said.
It was a pod. Miko looks in. "There's some gooey stuff," she said, "it looks like how Ratchet described a protoform."
"We better grab it and go," says Duke, "the last time I was on a mission in an office building, I ended up on the run."
"Don't go yet," says Stretch Monster, "the fun's just beginning."
You know, those bug bots those two weird guys mentioned? Turns out, they were Army Ants. Remember, the robots Evox reprogrammed to be his foot soldiers?
"How did he get these guys," asks Miko.
"Unit: E," says Duke, "let's play rough!"
We then fought them off. Duke, Jack, Miko, and Dr. Robertson used NERF blasters; Brightmore used Ra-Vu, Twilight used her telekinesis, Spike used his fire breath, and I used my Maximal powers. Stretch Monster then stretched his arm and took Dr. Robertson with him.
"Let's bring back Multi-Farious, shall we?"
Stretch Monster was about to stick a needle in him, but Dr. Robertson kicked him in a vulnerable area.
"NEVER!"
Stretch Monster then wrapped his arms all around Dr. Robertson and started squeezing him.
"Here's what fire does to rubber," says Spike as he breathes fire on Stretch Monster's leg.
"GAAHHH!"
Stretch Monster was then forced to let go and Dr. Robertson punched him.
"Let's grab the pod and go," says Duke.
We then took the pod and tried to leave, but Stretch Monster grabbed on to it.
"You're not getting away that easily!"
Ra-Vu then picked up Stretch Monster and threw him away.
"Let's go!"
Ra-Vu picked up the pod and we left.
. . .
At the new lab, Dr. Robertson was studying the pod.
"Well," asks Miko.
"It's Cybertronian alright," says Dr. Robertson.
"It's pretty small," says Jack, "maybe it's a minicon."
"Either way, it would've been dangerous in Stretch Monster's hands," says Duke.
I was starting to wonder, could that have been Stretch Monster's skin that was shedded?
Stretch Monster's POV:
I was sitting in my office, waiting for my partner to arrive. He wants to move on to other things. Then I heard something that sounded like some of my men getting killed. The first thing to enter was a snake. His name was Serpentor. Then came his master. You know him as Cobra Commander.
"Hello Adam," I said.
"Mr. Rook."
In the next chapter, the team will be helping Duke's old friend, Flint, with a creature called 'Monster Face.'
