Rekindling a North and South obsession. As much as I adore the train station scene, I do feel that the book ending is more realistic, so this story is a melding of the book ending and the miniseries ending, and then a continuation from there. Rating has been adjusted and story is complete.

As the title suggests, this is a reimagining of our favourite Gaskell tale but with the addition of Vampires. John battles with his vampiric instincts and the hold that the Masters of the mills have over Milton. To make matters worse, he must struggle not to let his heart be taken by the newly arrived Miss Hale. Things are not always what they seem in Milton.
