Chapter 56: Zoid:
Dr. Robertson's POV:
I was in the lab, working on an experiment. Then Roadblock came in.
"What'cha workin' on, Doc," he asks.
"I'm trying to see if I can create an energy source that's environmentally friendly."
It explodes.
"That didn't work," I said.
Then Jack came in.
"We got a mission, guys."
. . .
"This boy has been trying to break into Area 55." The Director hands us a picture.
"Let's go guys," says Jack.
. . .
We arrived at Area 55.
"We don't know what this boy wants," says General Tahoma Green, "but here's the really strange thing. It keeps mysteriously getting dark and then he runs off."
"That is weird," says Miko.
"Split up," says Jack.
. . .
Roadblock, Steel, and I were walking down the halls. Area 55 used to still store aliens who were a threat or not, but now they only keep aliens that attack our planet.
"Hey look," says Steel, "they even have a Decepticon here."
"This planet will never keep Scourge! I will escape!"
I then noticed a strange door. I was about to open it...
"I'm sorry," says an Area 55 agent, "but that's off limits."
"I understand," I said. To be honest, I was getting suspicious.
. . .
When we continued walking, Roadblock sees something.
"Something's comin' out of the vents!"
It was the boy. He has light brown hair with a single yellow streak that sticks up and zigzags wildly; green eyes; and apricot skin. His clothing consists of a slightly oversized blue u-neck t-shirt with a large horizontal pale blue-white stripe, orange baggy capris trousers with a pale-yellow tool belt, a red beanie which he wears on his head, and brown and white lace-up shoes with blue-grey shoelaces. He also wears bandages on his arms for unknown reasons.
"You guys get out of my way," he said.
"I'm Dr. Don Robertson, this is Steel, and Roadblock. We have questions for you..."
Then everything gets dark. From the darkness, a woman appeared. She had a weird thing on her head.
"Who is that," asks Steel.
"Oh no, she's here," says the kid.
"I am Megaria, Empress of Dread."
"Why have you been following me," asks the kid.
"I've just been using you to lead me to my real target. Your pet! But first..." Megaria then opens Scourge's cell.
"Now I can have my revenge on Green for imprisoning me!"
Scourge walked away. I called the others to let them know. Megaria was floating towards the door.
"We have to stop her," says the kid.
"Kid, what's behind that door," asks Roadblock.
"Don't call me Kid, my name is Arashi!"
"Whatever, what's behind it?"
"Wild Liger!"
Megaria opens the door, and a large mechanical lion thing comes out. It has an open-air cockpit. Megaria then gets in the cockpit and covers the thing with darkness.
"It's my Liger now." Megaria and Wild Liger then leave.
"No," says Arashi, "we have to find her!"
"Arashi," I said, "what is that thing?"
"It's my Zoid!"
Brightmore's POV:
Ra-Vu was able to hold orf the Decepticohn known as Scourge. eventually, Ra-Vu defeats Scourge.
"Okay, Dr. Robertson has the kid," says Jack, "we should regroup..."
We then saw ah robotic beast. One recognizes the ridah.
"Megaria."
Megaaariah and hah beast left.
Dr. Robertson's POV:
"My name is Arashi, and I'm from Planet Zi. On my planet, we have these biomechanical animals we call Zoids. My zoid is the Wild Liger. A weird wormhole swallowed us up and spat us out on this planet."
"That explains that," says Miko, "so, who's Megaria?"
"Ah Daaark Lord mwah mwah sweetie the Daaarkness Civilizatiohn," says Brightmore.
"And now she has access to a big robotic lion," says Jack, "we have to stop her!"

Megaria was using Wild Liger to go on a rampage.
"Unit: E, let's play rough," says Jack.
"One dane't have enough manah to summohn Ra-Vu again," says Brightmore, "and he meay be our cracking chance to take Ligah down."
"This is a job for the Maximals," says Steel.
Steel and Raf then try to go against Wild Liger. They tried blasting it, but that's not enough. Twilight tries levitating big rocks towards it, but Liger just breaks them.
"Are you guys some kind of superhero team," asks Arashi.
"Actually, we're more like secret agents," says Jack.
"You fools think you can beat this powerful beast," asks Megaria.
I then remembered that experiment I tried earlier.
"I have an idea," I said, "can you guys find a way to keep her busy?"
"How," asks Miko.
"You fools think you can defeat Scourge that easily..."
"Scourge," says Jack, "that metal cat called you weak!"
"I will make it suffer!"
"I think we have a way," says Jack.
. . .
I was in the jet. I had the equipment I was using earlier.
"This could work."
. . .
I returned and saw Scourge fighting Wild Liger. Scourge was doing pretty well until Megaria used some spells to knock him out.
"Megaria," I said, "are you too weak to attack us?"
"Wait, what," asks Twilight.
Megaria had Liger come after us, but then I did my experiment, and it caused an explosion that defeated her. Megaria then left. The downside is that Liger is damaged.
"Liger," says Arashi.
"Sorry about that," says Jack.
. . .
Liger's Zoid technology was difficult, but we were able to save him.
"Thanks for helping me get my zoid back," says Arashi.
"No problem," says Jack.
"Say, while you're on Earth," says Steel, "maybe you can join Unit: E. I'll bring the idea up with the Director." Steel then leaves.
"I'm not sure about joining a team."
Jack looks out the window and I can tell what he's thinking. Is Megaria connected to Metlar?
In the next chapter, the team learns that Stretch Monster is back, and he's after Twilight's friend, Applejack.
