Chapter 63: Battle Beasts:
Dr. Robertson's POV:
I was working on some experiments in the lab. I guess I was starting to miss just being a scientist. I will take a look at a job offer I got from Sumdac Tower.
"I think you should follow your heart." I turned around and saw it was Steel. I guess he had a feeling on what I was thinking. "Also, we're needed."

"You guys are needed in Africa again," says Director Flagg.
"Cool," says Miko, "maybe we can see those weird spider people again..." I think she was then remembering their... appetite. "On second thought..."
"You're actually heading for the Savannah. Apparently, there are reports of weird creatures. Good luck."
. . .
We were in the Savannah.
"You know," says Steel, "technically, I was born in Africa. Well, my Protoform gained form in Egypt."
"Fascinating," says Arashi.
"Split up," says Jack.
. . .
Brightmore, Twilight, and I were looking at some trees when we were attacked by a snake and a bat. Twilight levitated them.
"Hold it," says an alligator, "apologies. I am Gruesome Gator. We are from the Planet Beast."
"Clevah name," says Brightmore.
"We are here looking for a dangerous criminal. Pirate Lion and his crew. Your abilities could be useful into capturing him for his crimes."
"Why do you call yourself Gruesome," asks Twilight.
"It... means something else on our planet. We hope you will help us. He terrorized our planet. Enslaved many. He is ruthless!"
"I'm... so sorry," says Twilight.
"How did you arrive here," asks Brightmore.
"Our ship crashed as we were fighting Pirate Lion."
"We'll see what we can do," says Twilight.
Arashi's POV:
Roadblock, Steel, and I were looking when something showed up.
They looked like a fox and a dog.
"You guys want a fight," asks Roadblock.
"Only if you strike first," says the dog.
"Hold it," says a lion who came out of nowhere. "I am Pirate Lion. This is Sly Fox and Danger Dog. We are refuges from Planet Beast."
"I generally know the planets in this Solar System," says Roadblock, "but I have heard of Cybertron."
"Cybertron? Do you know Optimus Prime?"
"Not personally," says Steel.
"Optimus gave us our weapons," says Pirate Lion, "and Megatron gave weapons to Gruesome Gator. He took over our planet. We came to this one to find help. He's hunting us down to eliminate us."
"Tell us the whole story," I said.
Gruesome Gator's POV:
I managed to trick those fools into thinking Pirate Lion was the villain. Now, I will be able to dispose of him, and then, once my ship is repaired, I will rule Planet Beast for as long as I live!
"Gator," says Rook as he appears.
"Rook, how is my ship?"
"We're still working on it," says Rook, "as long as you hold your end of the bargain."
"I still don't understand why you want this stone. I just use it as a doorstop."
"I... have my reasons."
"Very well."
Rook then left.
Dr. Robertson's POV:
We were looking for Pirate Lion and his crew. Something wasn't feeling right, but I'm not sure what it was.
"Anything," asks Twilight.
"So far," says Brightmore, "I haven't seen anything... wait, over there!"
Twilight then levitates them... but it turns out to be Jack, Miko, and Raf.
"You mind putting us down," asks Miko.
"Sorry," says Twilight as she puts them down.
"My mistake," says Brightmore, "wait, over there and this time, it's them!"
They looked like a lion, a dog, and a fox. Twilight then levitated them.
"Put them down, you..." it was Steel, "...oh, hey guys."
"Arashi, Steel, and Roadblock," says Twilight, "why are you guys working with Pirate Lion.
"Because some gator's hunting him down," says Arashi.
"Well, I say - because he's ah villain," says Brightmore.
"No, he's the good guy," says Steel, "Gruesome Gator's the bad guy!"
"One is afraid you've bin deceived," says Brightmore.
Jack's POV:
Miko, Raf, and I saw an alligator man talking to a bat and a snake.
"What if they realized you tricked them," asks the snake.
"They are too foolish," says the gator, "so, no need to worry, Tripple Threat Snake."
"I still don't trust zem," says the Bat, "or zat Rook."
"Well, Blitzkreig Bat, if Rook betrays us, I will eat him."
"I don't know who these guys are," says Miko, "but I have a feeling they're the bad guys."
"And we have Megatron to thank for giving us these weapons long ago."
"Friends of Megatron's," says Raf, "yep, they're bad guys."
"We better tell the others about these guys," I said.
Dr. Robertson's POV:
We were still trying to discuss who to trust, but then Jack, Miko, and Raf appeared.
"Hey guys, there's this evil alligator guy," says Miko, "he got his weapons from Megatron some time ago and he's made a deal with Stretch Monster. So... what's going on here?"
Twilight then puts Pirate Lion, Danger Dog, and Sly Fox down.
"Sorry," says Twilight.
"Let's go find Gator," I said.
. . .
We all confronted Gruesome Gator and his crew.
"They found us out," says Gator.
There was a fight and we overpowered Gator and his crew, but then a ship came.
"That's my ship," says Gator.
"I have a confession, Gruesome," says Rook, "I never wanted your stone. It was all about the ship."
He then fired at us.
"Ra-Vu, Seekah of Lightning," says Brightmore as he summoned his creature. I then jumped on Ra-Vu as it was heading towards the ship.
. . .
I entered the ship and faced Rook.
"Well, look who it is," says Rook as he turns to Stretch Monster.
I then took him on. We wrestled, causing the ship to go out of control. Ra-Vu grabs the ship and starts breaking it up. I punched Rook and then kicked him off. He stretched his arms to attack me. I got out of the way, and he ended up smashing the controls.
"NO!"
I got out of the ship and jumped on Ra-Vu, who then threw the ship.
"MY SHIP," shouts Gator.
. . .
Gruesome Gator, Tripple Threat Snake, and Blitzkreig Bat were then taken in.
"Thank you, my friends," says Pirate Lion.
"Our mechanics fixed your ship," says Jack.
"Now we can return to our home," says Pirate Lion.
Danger Dog and Sly Fox then shared a kiss.
. . .
I had a talk with Director Flagg.
"...and that is why I have decided to leave Unit: E," I said.
"I understand, Dr. Robertson. Have you told your team, yet?"
"I... feel it might be too hard."
"I see. Well, you can clean up in the lab. Good luck at Sumdac Tower."
. . .
As soon as I entered the lab, everyone was there throwing a party.
"Did you really think the Director wouldn't make sure to let us know," says Jack.
"You ain't leaving without saying goodbye," says Miko.
It was a great party, and I said my goodbyes and left.
Jack's POV:
It was hard to let Dr. Robertson go, but we can't all stay.
"Looked like it would've been a good party," says a mysterious voice.
I turned around and saw the man.
"Who are you," I asked.
"Forgive me. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Draco Lacum, but you can call me The Dungeon Master!"
In the next chapter, the team teams up with the mysterious Dungeon Master.
