Chapter 70: Rarity:
Roadblock's POV:
Director Flagg insists that Jack take the day off after that whole Exorcist experience. I'm just glad for two reasons: #1, Jack's alright and #2, let's just say Afro-Americans don't usually survive horror movies. Anyway, Twilight has this theory that the magic stones that she and her friends could defeat Metlar. That could be why the guy is hunting her friends down. Now, we gotta find her friends before the Cult of Metlar does.
"These are where my friends are located," says Twilight.
Director Flagg comes in with Applejack.
"We can skip Applejack," says Director Flagg.
"That dang duhrty rat, Trixie took maah stone!"
"Also, we got intel that implies the Cult is in Paris, France."
"You sure it's them," asks Miko.
"Well, they match Stretch Monster and Megaria's descriptions, so yeah."
"Rarity's in Paris," says Twilight.
"Ah'm comin' too," says Applejack, "Ah want some payback!"
"Well, at least we have a Jack," says Miko. She and Raf then look at Jack.
"Just go on," says Jack.
"Let's get movin'," I said.

We arrived in Paris. The City of Lights. And if we don't stop Metlar, it could become the City of Darkness.
"How did Trixie get your stone," asks Twilight.
"It's kind of embarrassin'."
Applejack's Flashback:
Ah was workin' at thuh fahrm whe-yn trixie came. She done said she done needed help, so ah done tried t' help her, but the-yn she blasted me eend took maah stone.
Roadblock's POV:
"Maybe next time," says Miko, "say you put up a fight."
"Ah prefer bein' honest."
"Well, if One is being honest," says Brightmore, "We need to find Roohk before he gets the next stone."
"So, where do we find this Rarehunter girl," asks Miko.
"Rarity and just follow us," says Twilight.
Jack's POV:
I was still at the base.
"Hey Jack," it was Jerrica Benton of Team 23. In case you didn't know, she's also secretly famous rock star, Jem, "my band and I are working on a song. I was wondering if you'd like to hear it."
"Sure."
Roadblock's POV:
We entered the building.
"There she is," says Twilight.
"She kind of looks like a girl shaped marshmallow," says Roadblock.
"I don't think you should be mocking someone for white skin," says Miko.
I thought about it and realized the unfortunate irony. "I've become something I hate."
"Twilight, Applejack, wonderful to see you, Darlings."
"Rarity, we have some bad news," says Twilight.
Jack's POV:
"Okay, let's hear it," I said.
Jem: I know you feel down
Being stuck on the bench

"Thanks Girls," I said, "that obvious song really helped me."
"No problem," says Jem.
Roadblock's POV:
"So, this Metlar wants my stone," asks Rarity.
"Horrifying, isn't it," says Steel.
"Rook could be anywhere," says Arashi.
"Bonjoured, I ahm Iean Tour, fahshion creetic!"
"But I haven't even started the show yet," says Rarity.
"Guys, Tour is French for Rook," says Raf.
"Zat ees okay, I ahm here to observe ahnd I'm ahfraid zat gemstahne hahs to go!" Rook then revealed himself. "And I'll be taking it!"
"Ya eend ah 'ave sumthin' t' tawk about," says Applejack.
"Wait, you're not the usual Jack. Where's Jack? Oh well, guess he'll have to miss out on this." Rook turns to his Stretch Monster form.
"You're surrounded, Rook," says Twilight.
Megaria appears.
"Still surrounded," says Miko.
Jack's POV:
I was at the base. Thanks to the Holograms' song, I do feel better, but I still wish I knew more. Then I had an idea. I needed a way to visit the THQ.
Roadblock's POV:
We tried to fight Stretch Monster and Megaria, but Megaria's dark powers made it difficult. She then grabbed Rarity.
"What a lovely young lady."
Steel then tackles Megaria.
"How are we having trouble," asks Miko.
"Guess we've been improving," says Stretch Monster.
Jack's POV:
Miko had previously taken one of the THQ's time gadgets as a souvenir. I used it to open a portal to THQ.
"Here goes nothing," I said.

I was at THQ, but the Director of THQ, the Queen of Time was there.
"Uh... Good Morning, Morning Glory."
"What, exactly, did I say or do that convinces you that you have permission to come back?"
"Wait, Metlar's after these magic stones Twilight and her friends use. I wanna know the story."
Morning Glory sighs.
. . .
"The Stones were not created specifically to fight Metlar, but they can be used to defeat him, just as they were before. The Three Queens used the Seven Stones to trap Metlar in Time. We hid them in a mine until the Chosen Ones could find them."
"So, we just need Twilight and her friends to use the Stones..."
"It's more complicated than that. We had a beast use all the Stones together to fight Metlar. Here is what the beast looks like."
"It kind of looks like Liger."
"I believe your time here is done and I'll be taking that Time Key!"

I was back at Unit: E.
Roadblock's POV:
After all that fighting, Stretch Monster and Megaria run off with Rarity.
"We gawt ta gitty-up after 'em," says Applejack.
"Don't worry," I said, "Steel, did you..."
"Slip a tracker on Megaria? No, I accidently slipped it on Rarity."
"Oh, well... that works too."
. . .
We were at the Eiffel Tower. I guess that's where our evil friends are. We saw Rook holding Rarity over the edge.
"Let her go," says Twilight.
"We have the stone, so sure."
Rook lets go and Rarity falls, but then something catches her. It was Jack in a mini jet.
"I got'cha," says Jack.
"Whoever you are, I am glad you came."
"We got what we came for," says Rook, "let's go."
. . .
"I must say, I am grateful for the save and I do mean grateful," says Rarity.
"I'm... uh ...seeing someone," says Jack.
"Oh." says Rarity.
"Weren't you supposed to stay behind," I asked.
"I know the story."
Stretch Monster's POV:
I placed the stone with the other two we have.
"I feel my power growing stronger!"
In the next chapter, the team has to help Pinkie Pie.
