All rights go to Fresh TV. This story is my own version of the All-Stars season of Total Drama, so the events will be quite different. Warning: Language, suggestive content, canon and character changes. Enjoy.
When Noah found out that Chris McLean got arrested for his actions in the 4th season of the infamous reality show, Total Drama, it was the happiest moment of his life. It was a moment that made him jump for joy, something that he never did ever. That's how bad Total Drama was for Noah and all the other contestants.
For 4 agonizing seasons, every contestant got tortured, injured, and humiliated by Chris' antics, and to see him get what he deserved was karmic justice to anyone who was a part of the show. Unfortunately, because of the national exposure, everyone's lives either got worse or were drastically changed due to Total Drama, so that wasn't great.
But at the very least, some of the contestants were able to make legitimate friendships with each other both on and off-camera. And for Noah, he was able to find friends in the form of Owen and Cody. With Owen, Noah became fast friends with him during the 3rd season, World Tour and with Cody, they became friends during their time at Playa Des Losers. Sure, Owen could be gross, and Cody had a perverted side to him, but to Noah, they were the two most likable people he met on his time during the show.
After World Tour ended, Noah spent a lot of time with Owen and Cody, with the three going over to each other's houses to hang out and today, they were hanging out at Noah's place. They were in Noah's room watching TV but instead of watching a random show or movie, they were watching past seasons of Total Drama. Owen was naturally eating snacks, while Cody and Noah paid close attention to the screen.
You see, recently, Noah had a sudden interest to rewatch Total Drama and see exactly where everyone went wrong because everyone screwed up on the show at least once. While most of the other contestants would never want to think about Total Drama ever again, Noah was fascinated by it, and he spent many hours rewatching episodes and even writing down notes. And today, he was doing it with company.
"Dude, it's amazing none of us died on that show." said Cody.
"Well, many interns were sacrificed for Chris' sick game." said Noah.
"True. And I got to say, the way you were eliminated in World Tour was bullshit." said Cody.
"I know. And it was all thanks to that eel, Alejandro." Noah said with a bitter tone.
"Yeah, I still can't believe Al turned out to be such a nasty guy. He was…what did you call him, Noah?" said Owen.
"Heather with social skills?" replied Noah.
"Yeah, that. Oh, I heard that Heather and Al are a thing now." said Owen.
"Good. They deserve each other." said Noah.
"You're not being positive about that…" Owen said before Noah cut him off, "No, I'm not."
Suddenly, the three friends got a strange text message from an unknown number. The text simply stated…
"Hello, Total Drama contestant. We request you arrive at the film lot used in Total Drama Action tomorrow at 11 am. Don't be late."
"Oh no. Please tell me this isn't Season 5." said Cody.
"I think it is." said Noah.
"Damnit! We didn't even sign up for Season 5!" said Cody.
"Actually, we did." said Noah.
"What?!" asked Cody.
"I read the fine print on the contracts we signed before the 1st season, and it said our contacts would last 2 years." said Noah.
"And when do our contracts expire?" asked Cody.
"In approximately 2 months." said Noah.
"Son of a bitch." said Cody.
"Oh, come on, guys. It might not be that bad. We don't have to deal with Chris anymore." said Owen.
"True." said Cody.
"Plus, it could be a big, fun reunion." said Owen.
"Owen, you do realize that most of us hate each other, right?" said Noah.
"Well, we can still have fun together." said Owen
"I guess." said Noah.
"Now, that's the spirit! Group hug!" Owen said before hugging Cody and Noah and squeezing the life out of them in the process.
"Owen! Can't breathe!" Noah said while in pain.
"Sorry." Owen said before he let go.

Meanwhile, in a different part of Toronto, Canada, Duncan and Gwen, considered to be the most controversial couple in Total Drama history, were walking in the park. Ever since World Tour ended, the conversation around them would not stop.
Fans of the show were divided, as some felt that they belonged together, and others condemned them for what they did to Courtney. And while Duncan didn't care too much about the controversy, it was really starting to get to Gwen. Many people called her a villain, a rebound girl, a tramp, and much worse things. She received so many hate messages in a short amount of time that actively avoided using the internet and let Duncan use it for her.
But little did she know that Duncan was struggling too, just not as much. He was used to having a bad reputation, while Gwen wasn't. So, hate comments did nothing to him, they bounced right off him. But he was conflicted about how he ended things with Courtney. Sure, Courtney acted like a controlling bitch in Action, but maybe he should've made their break-up clearer before he kissed Gwen. But what's done is done. He can't reverse his actions and can only move on.
"So, it's great that we finally have a day without cameras in our faces." said Duncan.
"I know. It's so exhausting. But I guess we asked for it when we signed up for the show." said Gwen.
"Yeah." said Duncan.
"But at least Chris is out of our lives and in a jail cell, where he belongs." said Gwen.
"True. Never have I met someone who's a bigger piece of shit than me and I've been to juvie." said Duncan.
"Well, there are other people who rank above you on your shit list. Heather, Alejandro, Justin, Courtney." Gwen said before she stopped and regretted mentioning Courtney's name.
"Oh crap, sorry Duncan, I didn't mean to…" Gwen tried to say but Duncan stopped her.
"It's fine, Gwen. You don't need to apologize. I'm over her." said Duncan.
Then, the couple got the same mysterious text as Noah, Cody, and Owen.
"It seems like we're wanted for another season. You wanna do it?" asked Duncan.
"With you, sure. As long as Courtney's not there, it should be fine." said Gwen.
"She better not be there." Duncan said because the last thing he needs to see is Courtney's face again after what he did to her.

In a different part of Toronto, Brick, Zoey, Mike, Sam, and Cameron (Revenge of the Island contestants) were all chatting at a local café.
"So, Brick, how was fashion school?" asked Zoey.
"It was great. It turns out I have a real talent for being a fashion designer. Plus, it's nice to do something that's not military-related for a change, even though I still love it. What's going on with you and Mike?" asked Brick.
"We're doing great, honestly. We got over the hurdle of my multiple personalities pretty early on and it's been smooth sailing from there." said Mike.
While Mike's relationship with Zoey was great, his state of mind was not. In the past few months, a certain personality was attempting to take control of Mike. A personality that put him in juvie. A personality that he fears the most. That personality was Mal and Mike had been at war with Mal for months, which led to a lot of weird and embarrassing moments for Mike. He had yet to tell Zoey about it because he didn't think she would believe him since the Mal personality was so out-of-character for Mike.
"So, Sam, are things good with you and Dakota?" asked Mike.
"Yeah, things are pretty decent between the two of us. She has bad days, which is understandable considering her mutation, but overall, things are good. Our relationship health is at 100%." said Sam.
"Well, that's great to hear. And Cameron, you're truly out of the bubble now!" said Zoey.
"I know and it's been both exciting and terrifying at the same time. For once, I feel normal, like everybody else. I can actually experience things without cowering in fear, even if it's scary." said Cameron.
"I'm happy to hear that, soldier." Brick said before lightly smacking Cameron's back because he didn't want to accidentally injure him.
Then, all five got that mysterious text.
"What? How is this show this going? Chris is in jail!" said Zoey.
"I guess they found a replacement." said Cameron.
"Maybe with Chris gone it won't be so awful." said Sam.
"I guess we'll find out tomorrow." said Brick.

It was now the next day and Noah, Owen, and Cody were walking toward the Total Drama Action film lot.
"Well, time to see what this is all about." said Cody.
"I bet it's a prank." said Noah.
"What makes you say that?" asked Owen.
"Because the text was so cryptic and vague. It's exactly what a prankster would do." said Noah.
The three friends entered the film lot and were both surprised by what they saw. Everyone was there and not just a few former contestants. EVERYONE, meaning anyone who ever competed on Total Drama was at the lot. Even Ezekiel was somehow alive and in a metal cage. And everyone was clearly waiting for something to happen.
"Hey guys, Noah, Cody, and Owen are here!" said Geoff.
"Wait, did everyone get the same cryptic text?" asked Noah.
"Yep." All the other contestants said simultaneously.
"But that means…oh no." Noah said as he saw Alejandro and Heather walking over to them.
"Hey losers." said Heather.
"Hi, Heather. Hi, Al…" Owen said before he saw the death glare in Alejandro's face and finished his sentence with, "…lejandro. Sorry, force of habit."
"It's good to see you all again." said Alejandro.
"Can't say the same to you." said Noah.
"Amigo, it was just a game. Just a competition." said Alejandro.
"You screwed over so many people, including me, so why should I forgive you? Why should I trust a single thing that comes out of your mouth?" asked Noah.
"Hey! Don't you dare disrespect my man like that!" said Heather.
Noah and Heather were about to have a screaming match until they were stopped by DJ.
"Guys, relax. Can we please just get along and not kill each other." said DJ.
But then, a different screaming match ensued from the distance. Between Duncan and Courtney.
It got so bad that several castmates had to restrain the two of them and prevent them from murdering each other.
"You have a lot of nerve showing your face around here!" yelled Courtney.
"And you have a lot of nerve trying to start shit with me!" yelled Duncan.
And away from the screaming match, all the Gen 2 contestants (except Cameron) stared daggers at Scott, who caused the most harm during that season.
"Hey, guys. Um, I know I was a huge asshole on the show and I'm not expecting you to forgive me, but I just wanted to say…I'm sorry." Scott said with a shaky voice.
"Hmm. Maybe Fang mauling you was what you needed. But don't expect us to trust you. You're going to have to work for that." said Zoey.
"I know." Scott said sadly.
All the Gen 2 contestants left Scott, except for Cameron, who said, "Well, I'm glad you healed from your injuries. And I noticed how you flinched when Fang's name was brought up."
"I flinched because I NEVER WANT TO SEE ANOTHER SHARK AGAIN." said Scott.
"Okay. Okay. Understandable. Just be a better person this time around. Okay?" Cameron said before he walked away.
"Okay." Scott said before whispering to himself, "God, I'm such an asshole."
Things continued to be chaotic until a man walked up to the contestants. A man none of the contestants have ever seen before. He was wearing black shoes, black pants with red stripes on the sides, a black sleeveless shirt that had the words "Suck It Chris" in red text, had black hair, and was wearing black sunglasses.
The man then said, "Hey! Attention!", which made everyone look at him.
"Thank you!" the man said.
"And who are you supposed to be?" asked Heather.
"Who am I? Well, I'm the new host of Total Drama." The man said before removing his sunglasses and saying, "John Kasai. And yes, I brought you all here and yes, this is in fact the 5th season."
"Wait, then why did ask for all of us to show up? There's no way you can do a season with 38 contestants." said Gwen.
"Gwen, you are exactly right. Not all of you will compete this season. Since this is the 5th season, I thought it would be nice to have 25 of you compete because 5 squared equals 25." said John.
"What do shapes have to do with math?" asked Lindsay.
"Squared is a number multiplied by itself. So, 5 times 5 is 25, Lindsay." said John.
"Oh." said Lindsay.
"Anyway, 25 of you will compete this season and like the previous 3 seasons, Season 5 has a theme, and that theme is ALL-STARS." said John.
"So, the best of the best?" asked Zoey.
"Something like that. And I'm going to select the 25 participants by looking at your statistics from the previous seasons. For Gen 1, that will be Island, Action, and World Tour. For Gen 2, that will be Revenge of the Island. Understand?" said John.
Everyone nodded their heads.
"Good. Now, for Gen 1, since you had 3 seasons, I am allowing 15 of you to be a part of Season 5. This means I'm choosing the 5 best players from Island, Action, and World Tour. And yes, I know some of you did very well on multiple seasons, but only one season will count for each contestant. So, if you dominated Seasons 1 and 2, only Season 1 will count. Got it?" said John.
"Got it." said Duncan.
"Great. So, Season 1. Total Drama Island. The one that started it all. This will be very easy since it's just the final 5 of that season. So, the first 5 selected for All-Stars are Owen, Gwen, Heather, Duncan, and Leshawna." said John.
"Woohoo!" Owen yelled in excitement.
"Yes!" Duncan and Gwen yelled before hugging each other, which greatly pissed off Courtney.
"Okay. Now, Season 2. Total Drama Action. Essentially, Total Drama goes Hollywood. This will be a bit more interesting because several Season 1 contestants got a lot of time to shine that season. The next five selected for All-Stars are Beth, Courtney, Harold, Lindsay, and Justin." said John.
"Shit." Duncan said, knowing he would be forced to interact with Courtney.
"Yay!" Beth and Lindsay cheered as they hugged each other.
"YES!" said Harold.
"Now, Season 3. Total Drama World Tour. The season where you were forced to sing and ride a death trap Chris called an airplane. Don't worry, none of you will have to sing." said John.
Sighs of relief were felt throughout the Gen 1 cast.
"The next five selected for All-Stars are Alejandro, Sierra, Cody, Tyler, and Noah." said John.
"Wait, what?! How is Noah allowed in when he was eliminated way before I was?" asked Blaineley.
"One, you were in the competition for a single episode. Two, Noah actually tried that season and got screwed over. And three, nobody likes you." said John.
Blaineley scoffed and walked away in anger, while Cody and Owen congratulated Noah on getting into All-Stars.
"Hi, Cody. I guess we're spending another season together." Sierra said to Cody.
"Yeah, that's great." Cody said with a fake smile, as he wanted to be as far away from Sierra as possible.
"And that's it for Gen 1. Gen 2, you only had a single season. Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. And there were only 13 of you that season and there are 10 slots left for All-Stars. To make this extremely simple, the first three eliminated that season will not compete in All-Stars. This means the final 10 selected for All-Stars are Cameron, Lightning, Zoey, Scott, Jo, Mike, Anne Maria, Brick, Sam, and Dawn. You're all in." said John.
"Aw yeah! Sha-Lightning!" said Lightning.
"And that's it. The rest of you can be in the peanut gallery for the Aftermath show. And I might use you for a future purpose. Okay? Great. Now, for the 25 All-Stars, come with me." said John.
The 25 All-Stars followed John to a large boat, where everyone got in and drove off in the waters.
"Excuse me John, but what's the location of the show?" asked Zoey.
"Fantastic question, Zoey. We're going back to Camp Wawanakwa." said John.
"NO!" the 25 All-Stars screamed.
"Don't worry, I made sure that the island was clean of any toxic waste…and also dead interns. Trust me, this isn't going to be as bad as you think. Once I tell you the details, you'll want to stay in the game for a long possible." said John.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Total Drama was a show I watched to death when I was younger and recently, I got into it again and decided to make this story. I know All-Stars is not a good season (from what I hear, it had LOTS of character derailment), so think of this as how I would do an All-Stars season. The next chapter will consist of an explanation of the rules, the first challenges, the first dramatic bonfire, and lots of drama and tension. It should be great. This story will last 26 chapters, so about a season's worth of story. Also, I'm working on a ton of stories right now (one-shots, old stories, new stories), so keep expecting updates. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day. Bye for now and stay safe.
