The 24 All-Stars were sleeping in their respective cabins. Everything was quiet and peaceful. Until heavy metal music started blasting through the island. The song was "Stupify" by Disturbed and John used it to wake the All-Stars from their slumber.
Eventually, the All-Stars left their cabins and saw John playing the music on two large speakers.
"Hey! HEY!" yelled Courtney.
John saw the All-Stars and turned the music off before saying, "Good morning, All-Stars. You like the music?"
"No. It's tacky." said Heather.
"Well, that's too bad. It's my show and I get to make the decisions. And a personal choice I made was to wake you up every day with rock music until the season is over." said John.
"Why? It's so obnoxious. And it reminds me of CERTAIN people." Courtney said while staring at Duncan and Gwen.
"Okay. I mean…I can change the morning alarm to an airhorn if that's what you want." said John.
Before Courtney could open his mouth, Zoey said, "No. No. No. It's fine. We are 100 percent cool with the rock music."
"That's what I thought. So, wash up, get dressed, and go to the main lodge for breakfast." said John.

"I have to say that after watching Total Drama for a long time, it is SO COOL to be with the veterans! Although I do wish this would've happened after Season 2 because it would've been somewhat more pleasant." said Zoey.

Once everyone washed up and got dressed, the All-Stars went to the main lodge to have breakfast.
"Wait, who's making breakfast? Is it Chef? Please let it not be Chef." said Gwen.
"Chef? God no. He was Chris' buddy, why would I want him back? Your new chef is a surprise and it's a surprise I think you'll all like." said John.
John snapped his fingers, and the mystery chef came out of the kitchen. It was DJ.
"Hey guys." said DJ.
"DJ!" the Gen 1 All-Stars said simultaneously, as they all greeted him with hugs.

"I cannot tell you how happy I was to see DJ come out of that kitchen. He was the only one who made Chef's food edible." said Beth.

"I'll admit this John guy is really scoring some points with me. He brought back my bro DJ, someone who can actually make good food." said Duncan.

"Yes, DJ has taken Chef's position this season and I've paid him quite a bit of cash to do so. He's also helped me come with today's challenge, but we'll talk about that later. Now, eat." said John.

"Knowing DJ, there's no way today's challenge is going to be bad. Dude doesn't have a harmful bone in his body." said Tyler.

While eating, Zoey took the opportunity to interact with the older contestants, sitting next to Duncan and Gwen.
"Hi, I'm Zoey. You may or may not remember me from the 4th season, but I'm a huge fan of Total Drama." said Zoey.
"Are you a regular fan or a Sierra?" asked Duncan.
"Regular fan." said Zoey.
"Good." said Duncan.
"I remember watching Season 1 and you two were the best! It sucks that your relationships went south but at least you found each other in Season 3." said Zoey.
Zoey's statement made Duncan and Gwen uncomfortable, as they didn't want to be reminded of their past relationships with Courtney and Trent.
At a different table, Noah and Cody were talking to Cameron.
"So, you're the winner of Season 4, huh?" asked Cody.
"Yeah, no one expected it. Not even me." said Cameron.
"And Total Drama was your first experience outside the bubble?" asked Noah.
"Yep." said Cameron.
"Impressive. And you were going up against stiff competition." said Noah.
"I know. Lightning, Scott, and Jo were the biggest threats and I beat them all. So, if I could do it before, I could theoretically do it again." said Cameron.
"Sure, but in your season, you didn't have an Alejandro or a Heather or a Courtney." said Cody.
"Well, Heather tried to steal the million-dollar case, but my rocket stopped her." said Cameron.

"Cameron is one of the few competitors I'm worried about. Sure, we both have the physique of twigs and we're both intelligent, but while I'm lazy, he's not. I mean for God's sake; he built an Iron Man suit in last season's finale." said Noah.

After breakfast, John gathered the All-Stars outside the main lodge and said, "Alright, before I discuss today's challenge, there's something we need to do first. Since Mike was eliminated yesterday, 24 of you remain and since 24 is an even number, it's only appropriate to split you into teams. And like the season itself, the teams will be themed."
"How exactly? By winners and losers? Popular and unpopular? Gen 1 and Gen 2?" asked Heather.
"No, because the teams would be very lopsided. Instead of allowing you to choose your teammates or randomly select the teams, I have gone out of my way to pick the teams myself. And it's all based on your personalities, choices, decisions, actions, etc. We're doing Heroes vs. Villains. More specifically, Team Heroism vs. Team Villainy." said John.
John then showed off the team logos. Team Heroism's logo was a green H with a superhero cape, while Team Villainy's logo was a red V with black eyes and a dark, gothic cape.

"Heroes versus villains, huh? Weird choice because I don't see myself as either." said Noah.
STATIC
"Well, it's painfully obvious where I'm going, and I don't mind it at all. After all, I was THE villain of Total Drama until Alejandro came into my life." said Heather.
STATIC
"If John knew what was best for him, he would put me on Team Heroism. Especially after what that Boyfriend Stealer did to me." said Courtney.
STATIC
"I really hope that time I ate all those cookies doesn't make me a villain. Being on a team with Heather again would be the worst." said Beth.

"Okay, first up for Team Heroism, Owen." said John.
"Woohoo!" yelled Owen.
"Big shocker." Heather said as she rolled her eyes.
"And first for Team Villainy, Heather." said John.
"Never could've seen that one coming." Noah said sarcastically.
"Next for Team Heroism, Zoey." said John.
"Alright!" said Zoey.
"Next for Team Villainy, Alejandro." said John.
Noah continued his sarcasm with, "Please stop. My heart can only take so much surprise."
"Next for Team Heroism, Brick." said John.
"Sir, yes sir." said Brick.
"Next for Team Villainy, Lightning." said John.
"Sha-bam! I'm going to own Team Villainy." said Lightning.
"Sure. Next for Team Heroism, Cameron." said John.
"Nice!" said Cameron who high-fived Zoey.
"Next for Team Villainy, Duncan." said John.
"Whatever." said Duncan.
"Next for Team Heroism, Lindsay." said John.
"Yay!" said Lindsay.
"Next for Team Villainy, Scott." said John.
Scott sighed and said, "Sure."
"Next for Team Heroism, Dawn." said John.
"Thank you." said Dawn.
"Next for Team Villainy, Justin." said John.
"Fine with me." said Justin.
"Next for Team Heroism, Cody." said John.
"Cody, we're going to be the same team!" Sierra said as Cody cringed.
"Next for Team Villainy, Sierra." said John.
"Oh, thank God." said Cody.
"WHAT?! How am I a villain?" asked Sierra.
"I don't know. Maybe it's because your stalker tendencies don't sit right with me. So, to Team Villainy you go. Next for Team Heroism, Leshawna." said John.
"Woo! Alright!" said Leshawna.
"Next for Team Villainy, Anne Maria." said John.
"Huh?" asked Anne Maria.

"Me, a villain? Please, that is absurd. I may be aggressive but I'm not evil. But since I'm on the same team as Alejandro and Justin, it probably won't be so bad." said Anne Maria.

"Next for Team Heroism, Beth." said John.
"Yay!" Beth said before she hugged Lindsay.
"Next for Team Villainy, Gwen." said John.
"WHAT?!" Gwen said as Courtney smiled.
"Yep, you're on Team Villainy." said John.
"But…I'm not that bad of a person. I'm not a villain." said Gwen.
"Gwen, you made out with Duncan behind Courtney's back. You betrayed her trust and that's despicable. So, if you ask me, you deserve to be on Team Villainy." said John.
Gwen sulked until Duncan put his hand on her shoulder and said, "Hey, at least we're on the same team."
"True." said Gwen, whose mood improved right away.
"Next for Team Heroism, Sam." said John.
"Cool." said Sam.
"Next for Team Villainy, Noah." said John.
"What? You consider me a villain? All I've been throughout the show is a sarcastic asshole." said Noah.
"Honestly, Noah, I don't consider you a villain, but we need an even amount of people on each team, so…sorry." said John.
"Ugh." said Noah.
"Next for Team Heroism, Tyler." said John.
"Yeah! Let's go!" said Tyler.
"Next for Team Villainy, Jo." said John.
"Eh. I can live with that." said Jo.
"And the final member of Team Heroism is-" John said before Courtney interrupted him.
"Is me." said Courtney.
"Actually, no. It's Harold, which means you're the final member of Team Villainy." John said with a smile.
"WHAT?!" Team Villainy said simultaneously.
Noah walked up to John and said, "You're joking, right? Please tell me you're joking."
"Sorry, Noah, I'm not in a joking mood right now." said John.
"You can't put Gwen, Duncan, and Courtney on the SAME TEAM!" yelled Heather.
"I can and I just did." said John.
"Are you trying to sabotage us?" asked Noah.
"No. I like to think of it as a challenge within itself. Not to mention, free entertainment for me and everyone watching at home." said John.
"You! How could you do this, after what that Boyfriend Stealer did to me?!" Courtney screamed.
"True, what Gwen and Duncan did was terrible. But you're not off the hook. May I remind you of how you acted in Action, how you sued the show to get back in, how you got preferential treatment, how you have a habit of alienating everyone around you." said John.
The rest of the All-Stars gasped.
John and Courtney stared each other down and everyone was on the edge of their seats. The tension was overwhelming, as everyone expected a fight. The staredown continued until Courtney scoffed and walked back to her teammates.

"John stood his ground against Courtney. That's impressive." said Gwen.

"I really thought Courtney was going to kick the shit out of John. And not going to lie, I would've paid good money to see that showdown." said Cody.

Team Heroism: Owen, Zoey, Brick, Cameron, Lindsay, Dawn, Cody, Leshawna, Beth, Sam, Tyler, Harold.
Team Villainy: Heather, Alejandro, Lightning, Duncan, Scott, Justin, Sierra, Anne Maria, Gwen, Noah, Jo, Courtney.
"Oh, one more thing about the teams. NO SWITCH-UPS. The teams are finalized and don't even try to change my mind. Now, time for today's challenge. DJ, if you will." said John.
"When John talked to me about coming up with a challenge, I didn't know what to do. But the one thing I knew was that I wasn't about to put you all in a life-or-death situation. Mama raised me better than that. So, it got me thinking about our time on Total Drama. We've gotten to know each other so well." said DJ.
"But to what extent? So, today, DJ and I have come up with a game we like to call-" said John.
"TOTAL DRAMA TRIVIA!" John and DJ said simultaneously.

"Trivia? Really? I mean I guess it's better than eating disgusting food and not trying to die." said Heather.

The All-Stars were now on a stage, with Team Heroism sitting in chairs on one side and Team Villainy sitting in chairs on the other side.
"Okay, here's how the challenge will go. I will ask each of you a question that relates to the past four seasons. So, if you're a Gen 1 All-Star who didn't watch Gen 2's season and vice-versa, you're in trouble. The difficulty of the questions will range quite a bit, so be prepared for anything. If you get a question wrong, you're out. This will keep going until an entire team is eliminated and the winning team will get to spend the night at the McLean Spa Hotel, which I brought under Chris' nose." said John.

"A trivia game? Based on the previous four seasons? Ha. I'm going to own this game." said Noah.

"Here's how the order will go. Team Heroism will start, then Team Villainy will go, and so on and so on until the game is over. So the first name on the list is…Lindsay." said John.
"Yay! I'm ready!" said Lindsay.
"Okay, your question is…What was the name of DJ's pet bunny?" asked John.
"Ooh. This is an easy one. It's Rabbit." said Lindsay.
Everyone slapped their foreheads in frustration and disbelief. John legitimately thought he had an aneurysm.
"Lindsay. The answer was Bunny. I gave you the answer in the question and YOU STILL GOT IT WRONG!" said John.
"Sorry. I'm really bad at names." said Lindsay.
"You know what, I'm glad you got that question wrong because now I can show everyone what happens when you miss a question." John said before pressing a button.
Suddenly, a hole opened underneath Lindsay, and she screamed and fell right in, shocking the other All-Stars.

"No joke. I thought Lindsay died." said Owen.

"Just when I thought John wouldn't be another Chris." said Gwen.

"Don't worry. She's not dead or injured. Trust me, she had a safe landing." said John.
"Guys! You should totally come down here. It's a massive ball pit. It's so fun!" Lindsay said before the hole closed up.
"Next up, Gwen. What was the first alliance in Total Drama history?" asked John.
"It was between Heather, Beth, and Lindsay." said Gwen.
"Correct! Next up, Zoey. What challenge resulted in Heather getting her head shaved?" asked John.
"I Triple Dog Dare You!" said Zoey.
"Correct! Next up, Jo. What was the first country Gen 1 went to in World Tour?" asked John.
"It was Egypt, wasn't it?" said Jo.
"Yes, it was. You are right! Next up, Cody. How did Courtney participate in Action?"
"She sued the show and won." said Cody.
"Correct! Next up, Anne Maria. Who's responsible for the most eliminations in Total Drama history?" asked John.
"Ooh. That's tough. I've only seen the singing season. Was it Alejandro because I know he was dominant." said Anne Maria.
"Incorrect." John said before pressing the button and sending Anne Maria down to the ball pit.
"The correct answer was Heather. Next up, Tyler. What was the name of Duncan's pet spider?" asked John.
"Crap, man, I don't know. Spidey?" said Tyler.
"Nope." John said before sending Tyler to the ball pit.
"It was Scruffy, you dipshit." said Duncan.
"Next up, Duncan. Name a fear of one of your Gen 1 All-Stars." said John.
"Green jelly. Pathetic." Duncan said while staring at Courtney.
"Correct!" said John.
"Ugh. At least I'm not scared of Celine Dion music store standees." Courtney fired back.
"Next up, Sam. How was Leshawna eliminated in Island?" asked John.
"Uhh…I think all the eliminated competitors unintentionally voted her off by saying her name over and over again." said Sam.
"Correct. Next up, Lightning. This is a good one. Say Harold's full name." said John.
"Oh, come on, man! That ain't right! Shoot…uhh… it's Harold…um…Doris…uh-" Lightning said before John cut him off.
"Wrong." John said before pressing the button.
"SHA-NOOOOO!" Lightning said before he was sent to the ball pit.
"Harold, if you would." said John.
"The name is Harold Norbert Cheever Doris McGrady V" said Harold, which caused Duncan to laugh.
"Doris. Ha ha ha. That never gets old." said Duncan.
"Next up, Harold. Which former contestant had a habit of talking about their fake relatives?" asked John.
"Her name was Staci." said Harold.
"Correct. Next up, Noah. How did Owen get injured in Action?" asked John.
"He took a book to the mouth and got a broken jaw." said Noah.
"Correct. Next up, Brick. Name a contestant who quit the show." said John.
"Duncan." said Brick, which earned him a glare from the mohawked teen.
"Correct. Next up, Alejandro. What's the name of Beth's boyfriend?" asked John.
"Brady." said Alejandro.
"Correct. Next up, Cameron. Name a segment of Total Drama Aftermath." said John.
"That's Gonna Leave A Mark!" said Cameron.
"Correct. Next up, Courtney. Who has the label of 'The Loner'?" asked John.
"Gwen. And I hope she ends up alone forever." said Courtney.
"Correct. Next up, Dawn. What were the names of the teams in Action?" asked John.
"Screaming Gaffers and Killer Grips." said Dawn.
"Correct. Next up, Heather. What was the name of the fake third season of Total Drama?" asked John.
"Total Drama Dirtbags." said Heather.
"Correct. Next up, Leshawna. How many times has Izzy been eliminated on the show?" asked John.
"Way too many, that's for sure. I think it was 5." said Leshawna.
"Correct. Next up, Scott. What was Ezekiel's dare in 'I Triple Dog Dare You'?" asked John.
"Slowly chewing your own toenail." said Scott.
"Correct." said John.

"Honestly, I never saw chewing your own toenail to be that gross. I've done it plenty of times. I guess it's a class-type thing." said Scott.

"Next up, Beth. Name someone who was manipulated by Alejandro in World Tour." said John.
"Tyler." said Beth.
"Correct. Next up, Sierra. Name three of Mike's alternate personalities." said John.
"Vito, Chester, and Manitoba Smith." said Sierra.
"Correct. Next up, Owen. What was the name of the boyband that came out of Total Drama?" asked John.
"The Drama Brothers! I got their CD on day 1." said Owen.
"Correct. Next up, Justin. What happened to Trent in the episode 'Who Can You Trust'?" asked John.
"He was poisoned by a blowfish." said Justin.
"Correct. And that's the end of round 1. 20 of you remain. Impressive. Let's keep going." said John.
The challenge lasted for 7 more rounds and the questions became increasingly specific and ridiculous. The All-Stars fell into the ball pit, one after the other. Even Sierra, the biggest Total Drama superfan there is, was sent to the ball pit.
Eventually, two All-Stars were left. Noah, representing Team Villainy, and Harold, representing Team Heroism.
"Surprise. Surprise. Two of the smartest people in the show's history make it to the finals. Now, we're going to do things differently. We're going to do a lightning round. You two are going to list every elimination in Total Drama history in order and that includes people who came back into the competition later and people who quit or were ejected. Remember, this is sudden death, so if you get a name wrong, you lose. And we're going to start with Harold. Go." said John.
"Ezekiel." said Harold.
"Eva." said Noah.
"Noah." said Harold.
"Justin." said Noah.
"Katie." said Harold.
"Tyler." said Noah.
"Izzy." said Harold.
"Cody." said Noah.
This continued as both Harold and Noah successfully got every elimination correct from the first three seasons. Now, it was time for Revenge of the Island.
"Staci." said Noah.
"Dakota." said Harold.
"B." said Noah.
"Dawn." said Harold.
"Sam." said Noah.
"Brick." said Harold.
"Anne Maria." said Noah.
"Mike." said Harold.
"INCORRECT. Dakota came back and was eliminated before Mike." said John.
"GOSH!" Harold yelled before putting his head in his hands in defeat.
"Noah, you've won for Team Villainy! You get to avoid elimination and stay at the McLean Spa Hotel tonight!" said John.

"Wow. I actually won a challenge by myself. This feels…awesome!" Noah said with genuine joy, which never happens.

"And Harold, you and your team are going to have to figure out who to boot out tonight. See you at the campfire." said John.
(Scene Change)
It was now nighttime, and Team Heroism sat around the campfire.
"Team Heroism, it was close. Very, very close, but you came up short. And now it is time to cast your votes and determine who will take a helicopter ride home. Choose wisely." said John.

Lindsay looked at all the contestants on the checklist before checking one off.

"No question." Cody said before checking off a contestant.
STATIC
Beth nervously looked at the checklist before checking off a contestant.
STATIC
"I really don't want to do this but it's for the greater good." Cameron said before checking off a contestant.
STATIC
"Sorry girl, but you're out." Leshawna said before checking off a contestant.
STATIC
Brick sighed before checking off a contestant.

"Hope I don't get too much hate for this." Sam said before checking off a contestant.

"The votes are in. And with 9 votes, the contestant going home is (cue dramatic pause) Lindsay." said John.
"Awwww." said Lindsay.
"Can't say I'm surprised. You thought Bunny's name was Rabbit." said John.
"Well, I guess my habit of forgetting names bit me in the butt. But whatever, I had a fun time on this show, and I must say, you are SO much nicer than Chris." said Lindsay.
"Thank you. Now, it's time for your helicopter ride." said John.

Before entering the helicopter, Lindsay hugged Beth and kissed Tyler goodbye. Once she entered the helicopter, she was flown away from the island.
"Man, this sucks." said Tyler.
"I know. She was one of the nicest people here." said Sam.
"Yeah. I wonder what Team Villainy is doing at the spa hotel." said Cody.
(Scene Change)
Meanwhile, at the McLean Spa Hotel, Team Villainy were celebrating their victory by throwing a party, complete with loud music and a feast.
"Alright, I would like to give a toast to Noah, who saved our asses today and made this party possible. Cheers!" Duncan said while holding up a soda.
"Cheers!" said the rest of Team Villainy while holding up their drinks.
Noah was touched by how appreciative Duncan was towards him. It wasn't like they got off on the right foot back on Island. But now, Duncan was treating him like an acquaintance and not an enemy. He felt it was too soon to consider him a friend, but he was glad to not get on his bad side.

"With Duncan and my teammates, this season might not be so bad." said Noah.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Lindsay's the first one eliminated from Team Heroism. I chose her because there wasn't much I could do with her for this story. So, the teams. Obviously, Team Villainy is stacked but their dynamic will be 'strong but toxic'. Team Heroism will play the underdog role and they'll have a big heart, despite the odds being against them.
