Shifu, The Dragon Warrior and The Furious Five vs Saber
Two weeks later, The Furious Five were walking on a dirt path in a wide-open field. They just left a village after delivering supplies for them. The village's supplies was being stolen by bandits. When the Furious Five first arrived at the village, one of the villagers mentioned about Leo. This has caught Tigress's attention along with her team.
Po, Shifu and the Furious Five hasn't seen their friend Leo in two weeks after delivering the crown to the museum. A guard delivers a message to them from the Emperor before they left the city. In his message, Leo and Panther has left the capital for a mission. They should be back in a few days time. But there was no message from either of them since both humans have left the city.
The Warriors of the Jade Palace has been doing their daily routine. Wake up, eat, train, study, eat, train, eat, hangout, fix a mess that Po has caused and go to sleep. Things were a little different since Leo is not here with them. Zeng has come from Constable Hu's office with no news of Leo and Panther. They were worried something must've happen to them. Before The Furious Five leave to deliver supplies, Shifu and Po will stay at the Jade Palace to continue getting any information and updates on their whereabouts.
They did hope to run into them on the road or at a village, but the warriors did hear Leo and Panther did pass through. One of the villagers did overhear the two humans arguing about something. Hopefully with any luck, Leo will return from his mission. It's been two weeks. Today was a beautiful day as The Furious Five were walking on the dirt road.
"Was that the last of the supplies?" Tigress asks Viper.
"Yes. We don't have any more supplies to deliver right now." Viper nodded her head, giving the orange feline a warm smile.
"Do you think Leo completed his mission with Panther by now? It's been fourth teen days since he left the capital." Mantis spoke up from the avian's hat.
The rest of them nodded.
"Where in the world are they right now?" Viper pondered.
"I'm not sure to be honest." Crane commented.
"But Leo is strong and tough who won't go down that easily." Monkey replied.
"I'd wish he sent us a message to let us know that they're doing ok." Viper looks at Monkey.
"That's true. How cool do you think it would be if we have an iPhone like Leo?" Monkey suggested.
"It would be nice to have one, but they don't exist in this world yet except for Leo and Panther's phones." Tigress said.
"You think Leo left his iPhone in his room?" Monkey wondered.
"If he did leave his phone, you need to enter his passcode and used his fingerprint to get in. It shouldn't be tough for the second security, but he changes his passcode everyday." The avian said.
Tigress has said nothing. Leo was still mad at them for going through Shifu's decision to have Po be in charge of training. She hopes that they'll apologize to him when he returns. The Master of Tiger Style has stayed at Leo's usual spots so she could spot him coming. The other masters has stayed up with her on some nights and Tigress has entered Leo's room one night last week.
Po became worried that Tigress may discover the uniform in the chest, but thankfully she didn't. The orange feline was looking around the room. She could see his room was lit up by the candle at night before going to sleep. Tigress could still smell his scent as if Leo was still right now and not on a mission that was going on for two weeks. Maybe when he comes back, they'll spend some time alone together.
It's been a while since they spent the night alone together. The warriors are still worried if Leo and Panther is dealing with a powerful enemy from their world like Lee's adoptive son or the exiled prince. Leo did kept quiet about the Saber clone until Po found out. The Masters would've received a message if something like that happened. Then again, Leo has never talked much about his past until a critical point.
Shifu thinks that Leo should relax when they don't have a day of training, mission or spend time in the library. The human has always been tense, according to Panther when they rebuilding the Jade Palace in those four months. He believes that Leo has been trying to look up The Fierce Warrior that Zeus mentioned several months ago. And then there was the scrolls Leo kept in his room. Tigress, Mantis and Viper did came across a scroll in his room when Mantis was looking for his needle that was used by Po and Monkey.
Tigress decided to ask Leo about it when he returns after she and the rest of the Five apologizes to the human. Not to mention to ask who's this Enya person. She remembers Leo gazing at the entrance of the forest when he thought he heard something. The feline heard the name once from him that night. While they were walking, Tigress started thinking that Leon and Panther could be tracking down this Enya person these past two weeks or the clone Saber. She knows that those two can take care of themselves. If they don't hear anything from Leo and Panther, it'll be a third week.
The Furious Five continues walking on the path. They saw farmers working in the fields and wandering merchants on the road. Some kids noticed them and approached The Furious Five with excitement. Tigress watched her friends sign a couple of things that brought smiles to the kids. They resumed their walking for half an hour.
While they were walking, The Furious Five notices another village and decided to eat at the local restaurant for lunch. The five warriors had only ordered some rice, baked sweet potatoes and tofu for lunch. Monkey paid for their meal and left the restaurant. They left the village and continued walking and made it to the edge of the bamboo forest.
"Once we get through the forest, we'll arrive at the Valley Of Peace." Tigress tells her friends.
"Good." Monkey said with a relief.
"I'll be taking a nice nap in the sun to soak up the rays." Viper smiled.
While they started entering the forest, a pair of red eyes were watching them.
Po was walking through the forest with a fresh basket of mushrooms for his dad in the late afternoon. His dad ran out of mushrooms last night and asked his son to get some today.
"Hey Po!" Monkey calls out from behind him.
The Dragon Warrior turns around to see the Furious Five walking towards him. "Hey you guys!" Po smiled. "How did it go with the villagers getting their supplies?"
"It was fine, Po." Crane said. "Nothing too crazy when it came to the bandits."
"Did Master Shifu receive any information or an update about Leo?" Tigress asks him.
The Dragon Warrior shook his head. "I'm sorry, Tigress. Shifu still didn't receive anything yet these past two weeks."
"When we at arrived at the village, one of them saw Leo and Panther walking through the village and that was the last time they saw both of them. No one knows where they to find this person from their world." Tigress said.
"This happened before the day we arrived." Viper replied.
"We should tell Shifu about this." Po tells them. As his friends agreed to tell Shifu, the panda looks up in time to see Saber coming from above them. "Get out of the way!" He shouted, but it was too late.
The white tiger landed behind them the Five and slams her tail at all of them that sent the warriors flying several feet away from her.
"What the hell...?" Monkey groaned, rubbing his back.
"Po!" Viper exclaims.
Po stood up and shook his head. Standing several feet in front of them was the clone, Saber. "It's Saber!"
"That's the clone?!" Mantis yelled.
"It's big!" Monkey exclaims.
"Attack!" Tigress shouted as she lunges at the clone with palm strike. Her attack met with Saber's paw attack.
Monkey was delivering several punches along the back with Po while Viper was wrapping herself against the tail. Crane uses Wings Of Justice to create a powerful gust of wind. The clone roars in annoyance and grabs Tigress with her teeth before slamming her in the ground and threw her against a tree. Mantis tried to do a nerve attack on the clone's right side, but it didn't do any effect. The clone growls and was about to squish the bug until Crane came in and saved Mantis before he was killed. The avian swoops down and delivers a good kick to her leg and the Dragon Warrior punched her in the stomach.
He couldn't dodge in time as he was stepped on from her.
Crane dodges a swipe from her paw, but his wing was caught in her mouth before the clone spins him around and slams him into Monkey and kicks them several feet away.
"Ha!" Tigress shouted from above with Po. Both warriors delivers a double palm strike to her head that stuns the clone. "Now, att-argh!"
Saber grabs her by the shoulder and started slamming her against Po several times before rushing to her team and slamming the orange feline against them all against a big boulder. "Gr!" she growls at them.
Tigress groans and lift her head up to see the clone slowly walking to the Dragon Warrior. She could see he was knocked out cold. Before Tigress can move, Shifu has landed besides the Dragon Warrior.
"You won't do any more harm to my students." Shifu said, getting into a fighting stance.
The clone roars and tries to swipe the small red panda. Shifu was fast enough to act quickly to dodge her swipe and jumps on her back. He held on her fur as she tried desperately to get him off. Shifu tries a nerve attack at her upper back, but the clone rolls on her back to crush Shifu.
"Master!" Tigress yelled. She quickly got up and lunges at the clone in the jaw with a strong uppercut that made the clone stand on her hind legs. But that was a mistake as Saber was prepared to slice her.
"Ha!" Po yells as he headbutts the white feline clone in the cut. The Dragon Warrior's last attack made the tiger fall backwards near the edge of the cliff.
The orange feline jumps into the air and delivers a double palm strike that sent Saber over the edge and fell. Tigress collapse onto one knee, trying to catch her breath. Once she caught her breath, the orange tiger walks back where the others were waiting for her.
"Is everyone okay?" Shifu looks at his students.
"We're okay, Master Shifu. How did you know where we were?" Po rubs his head.
"Your father told me you were in the forest. When I went to check on you, all of you were fighting that white tiger." Shifu explains.
"Ngh!" Tigress grabs her shoulder in pain.
"Tigress, you're hurt. We need to get you back at the palace so you can get fixed up." Viper notice her friend.
After the warriors left forest, they made it back to the Jade Palace and it was already evening. Tigress had her red qipao vest removed so she could stop the bleeding from her shoulder. She was wearing white wraps around her chest and still has her black pants on. Viper and Monkey treated the feline's shoulder with care. Her shoulder was bandage up an half hour ago.
Po was about to leave the palace until he heard some footsteps coming from the stairs. He saw Leo approaching the palace. Smiling, he rushes over to give him a bear hug. But he was stopped by Leo's fierce glare. "Leo, whe-"
"Shut the fuck up, panda." Leo snarls at him as he walks by him. He was pissed off.
The panda closed his mouth.
"Just fucking point me in the fucking direction where Master Shifu is." Leo looks over his shoulder.
The panda pointed at the Hall Of Heroes. He watched Leo pushed the doors open and enters the hall. Po rushes over to the student barracks and enters the kitchen to see the rest of The Furious Five having a conversation. Viper was the first to notice him.
"What happened, Po?" Viper asks him.
"Leo's back." Po quickly said to her.
The guy's conversation stopped when they heard Leo's name.
"Leo is back?" Monkey smiled.
"When?" Viper asked the panda.
"A couple minutes ago. But Leo looked pissed off when I saw him enter hall to talk to Shifu." Po said answered her and realized Tigress isn't with them in the kitchen. "Where's Tigress right now?"
"Starting to take her bath at the bathhouse." Viper replied. "I'll tell her when she gets out."
After they left the barracks, all of them arrived in the Hall Of Heroes to see Leo and Shifu having a very heated conversation.
"You had us all worried!"
"I couldn't-" Leo was saying until his jade eyes fell on Po and the rest of The Five.
"Hey." Po approached them. "Leo, is everything ok?"
"No!" Leo snapped at him.
"Whoa dude, calm down."
"Where the hell were you these past two weeks? We were worried sick about you." Crane tells him. "What kind of mission did the Emperor sent you on?"
"That's none of your damn business." Leo snarls at him angrily.
"And why not?!" Mantis fires at him. "We all want to know where the hell you've been these past two weeks!"
"I can't talk about it because this is personal to Panther and me." Leo growls at the tiny hug. "The Emperor has forbid me and Panther to speak about this to anyone and he gave me the seal to prove it." He takes out a familiar scroll to all of them. "The mission would've been complete if Saber didn't come falling above us out of nowhere. Do you any of you know that?"
"Saber attacked The Dragon Warrior and The Furious Five in the bamboo forest, Leo." Shifu said sternly.
"What?" Leo turns around to him.
"I arrived in time to help the others and Saber fell off the cliff."
"And all of you didn't even bother to check if the clone was killed."
"There's no way she could've survived that fall." Monkey tells him.
"The clone survived from getting crushed by boulders when Viper, Po and myself fought Saber last time. She always survives no matter what." Leo said.
"What would happen if you do talk about the mission?" Po wondered.
"Panther and I will be exiled. She's already at the Imperial City to ask the Emperor to give us more time." Leo answered him.
No one said anything. Silence has taken over the room.
"I think we should all apologize." Shifu broke the silence. "Starting with me. I apologize for raising my voice earlier, Leo. It could've been avoided-"
"If I sent you all a message. I apologize too, everyone."
"And we apologize for going through Po's training." Tigress approaches from besides Po. "We should've thought what happened last time."
"With that out of the way, you should go to bed now, my students. We have training for tomorrow. But we have more to discuss tomorrow, Leo."
His students bowed and returns to the barracks.
Viper was slithering in the hall back to her room from the kitchen after she sets Leo's dinner on the table. She sees Po entering Leo's room for some reason. The green snake slithers down to the human's room. "What are you doing in Leo's room?"
Po became startled and quickly turns around to see the snake. "Oh, Viper, heh. I was just going to open a window for Leo to get some air in here."
"Po, his window was open all day and I closed it before I took my bath. So why are you in here?"
"He wanted me to bring his diamond sword back in here before taking his bath and dinner." Po showed her the sword.
"That's nice of you to do that." Viper smiled until she glances at a scroll that was on the floor. It was open a little bit. "How long has that scroll been on the floor?"
"I don't know." Po shrugs his shoulders after he puts the sword down and turns to her.
"Hm. I recognize this scroll." Viper slithers closely, looking at it with curiousness. "But the title is different from what Leo said."
"What was it first called?"
"The title was called "Secrets To Life Itself", but now it's called "Secrets And Connections About Kaira." Viper read the title.
"Hm. I do remember Leo did cursed out before he passed out that night of the Autumn Festival. But I don't think he's writing a poem."
"Perhaps another friend his world." Viper suggested, rolling the scroll up and placing it on the shelf. "I'll ask him about it tomorrow."
"Alright then. I'll see you in the morning then, Viper."
"Try to wake up on time, Po." Viper tells him before they exit the room.
They bid each other good night before entering their own rooms and gets some rest for tomorrow's training.
Author's Note: That's that for Chapter 65, but I will admit the title of this chapter is long than my other chapter titles. I hope this was enjoyable to read. I believe it was time Shifu, Po and The Furious Five take on Saber without Leo's help. There's only a couple more days until Kung Fu Panda 4 hits theaters this weekend on Friday!
