A Thousand And Twenty Questions
Evening came for the Valley Of Peace. The villagers were in their homes having dinner. It was a peaceful night for them. The warriors of the Jade Palace was having their dinner in the kitchen without Shifu and Leo. Shifu was meditating in his room. Leo had an early dinner without them and was at the Training Courtyard.
While The Dragon Warrior and The Furious Five were eating their dinner, an overweight pig came bursting into the kitchen. The six masters became surprised as he panted heavily.
"Message... for... Master Shifu..." he panted heavily.
"Take it easy." Po approached the pig with Tigress as she went to the pig's side. "It's just a message, right?"
"What if it's an urgent message, Po?" Tigress looks at him.
"Oh, you're right. Okay then, breath once for non urgent or breathe twice for urgent so we'll all know." Po said to the messenger.
The pig breathe once.
"Not urgent."
The pig breathe again.
"It's urgent!" Po exclaims.
Then the pig breathed again heavily.
"Now you're just confusing everyone." Po said.
"From... Master Yao." The messenger breathe heavily.
"Yao? You mean-"
"The super smart, awesomely powerful, kung fu master who spends all his time in a meditation box?!" Po interrupted him with excitement and enthusiasm.
"I was going to say Shifu's man-crush, but hell yeah!" Mantis nodded.
"We should all go and tell Master Shifu that he has a message from Master Yao himself." Viper replied, slithering away from the table.
"But Leo doesn't know that Master Yao's message has arrived right now. He needs to join us to tell Master Shifu." Crane pointed out.
"Viper and I will go get Leo ourselves. We'll meet all of you at the Hall Of Warriors so we can tell Shifu that he has a message from Master Yao." Tigress tells Crane.
Everyone left the kitchen and Tigress and Viper heads to the Training Courtyard.
"Is this Leo's first time seeing Master Yao, Tigress?" Viper asks her.
"Yes. This is a first time for all of us as well, Viper. And maybe this is the first time for Master Yao to see a human before."
"I agree. The people of China have two humans living here. One here at the Jade Palace and the other one is living in Gongmen City." Viper pointed out.
Meanwhile, Leo was training alone. He slashes the air several times forward before doing a backward spin. The human rolled onto the ground and stabs the air with the diamond sword. He performed several blocks with his sword and did two hurricane kicks with a downward punch. The young man stands back up.
"Gr." Leo growls angrily softly. There wasn't an answer in the scroll he read in the library during the afternoon. It's why he had an early dinner without the others.
Leo turns around to receive a punch to his stomach and a strong kick across the face that sent him across the courtyard. Leo bounces off the wall and fell flat on his face in the ground. Growling, Leo picks himself up from the ground and sees Enya standing across from him.
"Like I said, you're getting sloppy." Enya said with a sneer. "Unlike the last two people who came after you."
"Gr!" Leo growls at her. He got into his fighting stance and charges at her into a leap. "Ha!"
"Hmph!" Enya quickly dodges the sword sideways.
Leo attempts to stab her, but Enya was quick to grab both of his wrists and kicks him in his chest and kicks his legs apart. He used it to go in a full split and gets back up. Leo leaps in the air and to do a spinning forward axe kick. Enya punches Leo hard in the jar while he was in midair during the spin and did a spinning downward elbow strike to his abdomen.
"Gah!" Leo grunted, hitting the ground. He quickly rolled to the right to dodge her strong punch.
"Hm. Is that really the best you can do?" Enya folded her arms. "I remember those two could land an actual hit on me. Even she could land the first attack in less than three minutes when you put those two through that little test on the night your team first met those two."
"Gr!"
"Oh? Have I already touched a nerve, or did I barely scratch the surface?"
"Damn you!" Leo shouted angrily as he lunged to her.
As soon as Leo was close, Enya grabs his fist and yanks the sword out of his other hand. She did a strong head butt to his face that stunned him before sweeping off his feet quickly and cutting his right arm in the process.
"Argh!" Leo grunted as his back hit the ground.
"Hm." The mercenary looks down at him. "So much strength and you're still sloppy. And your skills haven't improved. I take back what I said, you might have been good, not much to be called "Master" like Master Lee, you pathetic bastard." She tosses his sword behind her and vanished into thin air before his eyes as he sat up.
The young man snarls as he got up and walks over to pick up the sword. He looks at the cut on his arm. It didn't go too deep into his arm. Leo ran two fingers across the cut. He winced a little.
"Damn it. How the fucking hell is she doing that?!" Leo cursed in his mind. "I'm not losing my mind. I know what I fucking saw just now!"
Blood ran down his arm which caused him to look at it and his whole body. Leo lets out an irritated sigh. He was covered in dirt, dust and sweat with a little bit of blood.
Tigress opens the door to the training courtyard. The two girls notice Leo was covered in dirt, sweat and a little bit of blood from his fresh new cut.
"Leo, looks like you've been training hard." Tigress approached him. "What happened to your arm?"
"I cut my arm during training." Leo replied. "What are you doing out here right now? Aren't you supposed to be having dinner with the others right now?"
"A message for Shifu came from Master Yao just now, Leo. We're all heading to the Hall Of Warriors right now to tell Master Shifu." Viper informs him.
"Why is Master Yao returning to the Valley Of Peace?"
"We're not sure." Tigress said.
"Fine."
"Before the three of us can head over to the hall, you should probably wipe a bit of that blood off your arm." Viper pointed out with her tail.
"I'm going to leave as it is until Shifu gets the message from Master Yao, Viper." Leo replied. "Let's not keep them waiting right now."
The three warriors left the training courtyard. They arrived at the Hall Of Warriors.
"Where's Po?" Leo noticed the panda wasn't here and saw the messenger breathing heavily.
"He went into Shifu's room three minutes ago." Mantis replied.
Shifu was running towards them with Po following him. The messenger hands the scroll over to the red panda. He opens the scroll. "Master Yao? Did he write my name himself? Because that would be great for my scrapbook- I mean the archives-" then Shifu gasps.
"Master Shifu, what is it?" Leo asks him.
"Mas- Ma- Master Yao is coming to the Jade Palace today!" Shifu stammers with excitement.
"When?" Crane asks him as the Furious Five and the Dragon Warrior approaches them.
"Today." Shifu answered.
The doors to the palace opened. They all saw four goats carrying a red box with a green roof as another goat lead them.
"This is so sudden that we didn't have time to prepare!" Shifu exclaims."
"The master will need a small receiving area for the Wisdom and Exchange for tomorrow." The goat said.
Shifu reads the scroll. "It says that Master Yao has graciously offered his knowledge after many years of mediation that gave him!"
"Anyone who brings the master a new wonder to experience, some unique sight, sound, smell, or taste, will be permitted to ask a single question of his vast wisdom from sunrise to sunset." The goat said.
"Hang on. If we bring something smelly or whatever and we can ask Master Yao anything?" Po asked.
"Yes." The goat replied.
Po jumps in excitement. "This is going to be so awesome! I have like a million questions that I need to ask Master Yao! Where do I even start with?"
"Forget it, Po. It's going to be a madhouse for this event." Tigress said.
"Come on, Tigress. How great is this opportunity? All of your burning questions answered!" Mantis smiled.
"She doesn't have any burning questions." Leo growls at him.
Everyone stares at him.
Leo brushed by Viper. "What kind of questions are permitted to ask Master Yao?"
"Any kind of questions are permitted to ask Master Yao." The goat replied.
"Hm." Leo folded his arms and thought about this whole event. "I'm sorry, but we're not doing this stupid event."
"Why not, Leo?" Crane asks him.
"It'll be fun to know if Mantis will get a girlfriend for example." Monkey explains to him.
"Yeah!" Po added. "Or if I can pull off another prank on Monkey."
"We're not doing this." Leo said to him. He looks over at Shifu. "Master Shifu-"
"Master Yao, what do you see in a kung fu companion?" Shifu ignored his student as he started making a list.
Leo watched his friends walking as Shifu heads back to his room. He follows Shifu outside of his room. "Master Shifu."
Shifu turns around at him. "What is it, Leo?"
"This whole "Wonder and Exchange" is a bad idea."
"I don't think it's a bad idea, Leo. What makes you think it's a bad idea to begin with?"
"Any kind of questions can be answered. I don't think any of those questions can be permitted to ask Master Yao." Leo replied. "I just think that there should be limits to any type of question regardless of the knowledge he has."
"I see. And does this trouble you, Leo?"
"I'm just concerned is all, Master."
"It'll be alright, Leo. I don't think those questions can be answered. Let me ask you a question, Leo. Why do you have a fresh cut on your arm?"
"I cut myself by accident, Master Shifu." Leo lied.
"Please be careful, Leo." Shifu said to him. "And how are things going in the library?"
"Things are doing fine in the library." Leo lied, turning his back on Shifu. "Goodnight, Master."
His ears perks up, hearing Leo's growl angry on the way out of his room. He still wonders why Leo spends his time in the library every day and every night.
Leo sits down in the hot spring of the bathhouse alone. He sinks beneath the water and emerges for some air. There were several reasons Leo didn't like about this event. Any question can be answered. Leo began to think of the questions that formed in his mind. Is it right to tell them about Kaira, Enya and the nightmares? Or should Leo keep continuing to remain silent and deal with it alone without their help?
Why was Kaira inside Leo in the first place? Who put her in his mind? Why can't he find the answer in there? Who were the two humans Oogway met? Would they understand why he had to lie to them? To The Dragon Warrior and the rest of The Furious Five? To Tigress? To keep these things a secret from them?
Leo doubts they'll understand why he lied about sleeping well like everyone else, but the other two has been worrying. He stayed in the hot spring for several more minutes to wash the dirt off of him. The young man dried himself and put on a fresh pajama before he departed his room.
His sword was leaning against the shelf of scrolls he worked on in the past few months. Leo took a closer to make sure the scrolls were not touched by the others but him only. He nodded his head and went over to his bed and lies down with his hands behind his head. The gentle wind blew in his room. He can hear Po snoring a couple rooms down the hall.
The Furious Five was sleeping right now. Leo had wondered of what Shifu, Po and the rest of The Furious Five reactions would be several times. But with Tigress, that one was going to be tough. He knew she's a hardcore warrior. And she knew that Leo is a strong warrior. She has shown her emotions on rare occasions when they were in Gongmen City. The Furious Five were sadden when they thought Leo and Po were killed, but they both survived to give their friends the strength to continue fighting. Tigress was glad and happy to see her boyfriend alive.
However, with Leo, he's been trained to keep his emotions in check. After Zhao was sent to spend the rest of his life in prison, Lee became strict and distant. Leo didn't mind the vigorous training Lee had put him through over the years and even Ju Fen. He never shed a tear as he held it in to not allow himself to cry. His hatred, anger and rage were enough to kill them that night five years ago. He couldn't control it again a second time.
Leo was surprised and concerned about the visions of his parents when they defended the musician's village. It did bother him and when he heard Sying was in Gongmen City, he wasn't going to let the ex-prince get away for what he done. Leo couldn't do anything when they were captured by the wolves and gorillas after pushing Panther out of the way from the chair that came out of the explosion. Once they were brought to the top, all the warriors broke free of their cuffs thanks to Viper's lock pick and Mantis's stealth.
But the confrontation was short due to a flashbang. Leo explained the visions he received about his parents and the history of Sying. He confronted the ex-prince in the fireworks factory and the two warriors fought. His anger was beginning to burst after witnessing the supposed death of the Dragon Warrior. But Shen and Sying got him with their weapons.
Leo and Po survived their enemies' weapons. The chains within him have been broken to release his rage and hate. He felt his fiery vengeance to give him focus and strength to deflect the cannon balls while using the chains and sending them back to the ships and helicopters.
Leo and Sying found themselves in a fiery ring that surrounded both of them. He was fixated on killing the man. Leo had torn a hole in Sying's throat. He can feel the flesh of Sying in his mouth with blood running down his chin. After the battle, Panther can see Leo has grown worried if anyone saw what happened in the fiery ring. She told him no one saw it. Leo was glad to hear that any of them has seen it.
But later on, the chains broke again when he fought against Hai and Leo's body was on fire this time. It only took Nala a couple seconds to call out and calm him down gently so Dr. Fai Bo can throw the water on him. Leo made them all promise not to speak of about his actions. Losing control like that had reminded of how he went through with that five years ago.
Leo felt his eyes were closing on him now. He'll have to think about it tomorrow during this whole "Wonder and Exchange".
The sun has slowly risen up into the sky. People were already lined up on the steps. Po was already the first person in line. He watched the goat unlocked the door.
"Master Yao, we are ready to begin the Wisdom and Exchange for today." the goat said.
An old gray goat, who was wearing black pants and green shaolin wrap with hazel eyes, jumps out of the box with excitement. Leo had come out front the doors to the Hall Of Warriors. He noticed the line was extremely long since there were so many citizens. The human even saw Master Yao for the first time. Po was walking up to the master until Tigress pushed him away and approached the goat master.
"Master Yao." Tigress said.
"Hey! No cut-sies." Po whined.
"Ah, Master Tigress! Do you have a question I can answer for you?" Yao smiled.
"I don't have a question. You have to reconsider doing this. It's not safe with this whole big crowd. I'm just scared-"
"I don't think asking questions is anything to be afraid of, do you?"
"No, it's just-"
The Dragon Warrior bumps Tigress out of the way. Before he could speak, the panda was shoved out of the line and fell to the ground. He stands up and turns to see Leo standing in front of him. The human's expression was fierce, serious and tired and glares at the confused panda.
"Leo, what was-"
Leo cuts him off by drawing his sword out. The panda didn't say a word. He was confused of Leo was doing. The panda saw him yawned a bit. Leo turns his attention to the goat and withdrew his sword.
"Ah, Master Leo, do you also have a question?" Yao asks him.
"I don't have a question and don't EVER call me "Master"." Leo growled. "Not only should you reconsider doing this, but you must leave immediately. Doing this event will have the citizens of this valley ask unnecessary questions that can be fucking stupid."
"I don't think it's necessary to cancel this event and leave, Leo. But why do you not want to be called "Master" like Shifu, Po and The Furious Five?"
"I have my damn reasons why and I won't say why." Leo folded his arms.
"But why?" Po asked as he approached him cautiously.
"I don't have to answer that, panda." Leo sneers at him coldly before walking towards the column and leans on it with his arms folded across his chest.
The Furious Five approached Leo.
"Are you okay Leo?" Viper asks him with a concerned look on her face. "You look tired."
"I'm fine, Viper."
"Are you sure? Because you look pissed off about the "Wisdom and Wonder Exchange", Leo." Monkey pointed out.
"Yes, I am. I'm only concerned that the citizens don't ask those types of questions to Master Yao." Leo answered as he didn't deny it.
"You don't have to worry about that, Leo." Shifu approaches him.
"Do you want us to save you and Tigress a spot, Leo?" Viper asks him.
"No, Viper." Tigress answered for Leo. "Leo and I don't have any questions for Master Yao. We're going to stay up here and keep an eye out for potential threats."
"I don't think any threats will come for an all-knowing master." Shifu looks up at his two students. "What's really troubling you, Tigress?"
"Nothing is troubling me, Master. We're just doing our jobs." Tigress answered.
"And what about you, Leo?"
Leo yawns before answering his master's question. "You don't have anything to worry about, Master Shifu."
"Are you sure? You look tired and angry about this event."
"I'm fine." Leo said to him.
"Alright." Shifu said before he left to join the others.
As soon as Shifu left, Tigress turns to her boyfriend. She could see that Leo is tired. He lets out a tired yawn.
"Did you sleep well last night?" Tigress asks him.
"I just had a rough night is all." Leo replied as if it was no big deal.
Tigress was a little surprised to hear that from him. She wondered if Leo had that nightmare last night about the incident. "This is the first time I heard you had a rough night."
"Hm."
"Did you have a nightmare?" Tigress asks him.
"No." Leo answered. He looks at the long line. "We should start keeping an eye on these people now, Tigress."
She nodded and stood beside him. The feline took one look at her boyfriend as he watched the line. Tigress knew he just lied right now about last night. But why did Leo lie about himself sleeping well whenever someone ask him when they wake up in the morning? Does it have something to do with this Enya person?
The two warriors watched the line in silence together.
Taotie was wearing glasses and a fake mustache, and his son was wearing a hat. It was their turn next because Shifu walks off without asking Master Yao a question.
"Behold the-"
"A villainous inventor in cheap novelty disguise, I love it! Very good, now your question." Master Yao interrupted.
"Huh, okay, great!" Taotie smiled. He thought this was going to be hard, but it was easy. "So, I have this weapon-"
"I am fully aware of your ultimate weapon, Taotie. You wish to know why it is not working like you hoped."
"I can handle it myself. Is it the rod calibration?" Taotie asked.
"No." Yao answered, making Bian Zao slapped his face in embarrassment. "Thank you for participating in the Wonder and Exchange. Have a wonderful day."
"Can I get another chance? The pressure regulator or the pump-jam matrix?" Taotie guessed as he started smacking himself.
"Will you just tell him the answer?" Bian Zao asked. "He's already started to embarrass us all."
"There are rules, young Bian Zao. Your father must present a new wonder to present to me."
"Then behold the stench of failure." Bian Zao pointed out at his father.
Yao took a sniff. "Pungent! That is good. The reason for why your ultimate weapon will not work is you did not correct the spheres oblong rotation by adjusting the fifth, sixth, and ninth rods, from the base, until they reach a concavity similar to the offset created by your control seat. That is why you did not correct it."
"Of course. I would've gotten it eventually." Taotie smiles evilly and looks up at the Jade Palace. "These warriors have humiliated me for the last time. Today I prove that technology is the master! And kung fu is-"
Tigress kicks him in the face and went after him down the stairs. Bian Zao sighed and was about to walk down the stairs until he felt someone took his hat off. The moment he turned around, Leo gave him a strong uppercut to the jaw and a downward punch to his abdomen. Bian Zao was sent flying down the stairs. Leo went after him.
Po was writing down something about bees until he heard yelling. He turns around to see who was yelling behind him and Tigress crashes into him. They both stand up and watched Taotie flying even further away from them. The two warriors quickly look up to see Bian Zao yelling in the air. Leo delivers two palm strikes to the warthog's back to send him flying after his father.
The human landed on the staircase a couple feet in front of Po and Tigress and turns around to start climbing back up the stairs.
"What did you two do?" Po asks them.
Leo stops and the two warriors didn't answer.
"Tigress, Leo, what happened?" Shifu caught up to them with the rest of the Five.
Leo didn't respond and ignored his master's question. He walks away from them.
Bian Zao moans, rubbing his head as he made it back to his house. His house was in the middle of a stone wall barricade. "Whatever. I'll just walk home from the Valley." He said annoyed to this father.
Taotie was just finishing hammering the rod. There was a giant metal ball in their yard. It was all yellow and bronze tiles. There were many holes in for the rods to come out.
"Then you're just in time for the test run!" Taotie smiles as he climbs the sphere. He got into his seat and pulls a couple levers. The machine started to puff out smoke and the pins sticks out.
"I'm impressed the old fool was right. Heh." Taotie chuckled.
"Do you even hear yourself?!" Bian Zao calls to his father.
"Get ready, Furious Five. Today you face my Sphere of Unerringly Accurate Acupressure! So, prepare yourselves for your doom!" Taotie laughs evilly.
Bian Zao watches the cutouts of Po, The Furious Five, Shifu and Leo sprung up. The acupressure pins destroy the cutouts.
Leo watched Monkey walks away from Master Yao after the goat answered Monkey's question. He kept a very close eye on every single person that came to present a new wonder to show for Master Yao in exchange for answering their questions. Leo had listened to the questions and answers that came.
"Did he show that to him already?! That was going to be my question!"
The villagers have already begun to argue amongst themselves about what they were going to show next to Master Yao. Tigress became fully alert while her boyfriend was fully alert despite being tired.
"I got it!" A pig exclaims as he took out a war hammer. "Have you ever been hit in the face with a war hammer, Master Yao?"
"Oh!" Yao gasps.
Several of the villagers approached.
"Typical." Leo snarls. He quickly jumps into the air before Tigress can react. The human drew his weapon and lets out a yell to the villagers. A goose noticed Leo was coming from the air with his sword raised above his head.
"Gah!" She yells, lifting a wok to protect herself.
Leo's sword missed in front of her. He swung his sword to knock the wok out of her rings into the air. "Grab Master Yao and go, Tigress!" Leo yelled.
Tigress nodded and grabs Master Yao before jumping into the air and grabbing the wok to slide down the staircase.
Leo did a backward jump flip kick to knock another wok out of the pig's hooves and grabs the wok. Leo began sliding down the staircase after Master Yao and his girlfriend. He leans forward to gain much more speed to pass the line of villagers, Po, Shifu and the rest of the Five. The human made it to the village and disappears.
Po, Shifu and the Five made it to the village but they all stopped to see Taotie and Bian Zao riding on their ultimate weapon.
"The only thing you're running into is the land of shame and defeat!" Taotie smirks at them.
The villagers started yelling in fear and started to run away.
"We're getting neighbors?" Bian Zao asked sarcastically.
"No. Because we rolling to the valley of victory, thanks to the Sphere of Unerringly Acupressure."
Po wasn't impressed with the device. "You made a riding massage ball?"
"It's not a massage ball. This is a weapon of unspeakable terror!" Taotie snaps at him.
"Why don't you send that unspeakable terror to my lumbar region?" Po took a couple steps forward and turns around to taunt him.
Taotie smiles evilly and push a lever. An acupressure pin strikes Po's shoulder. The panda started slapping himself across the face. Shifu raised an arm to stop his students from helping. Another acupressure strikes Po and the Dragon Warrior slaps Shifu across the face a couple times, causing him to gasp.
They all watched Po trying to stop his paw from slapping. He slaps himself, Shifu, Crane, Monkey and Viper and done it again. Shifu blocks Po's back slap. "Enough." Shifu said seriously.
He flips Po out of the way and jumps to the sphere with a sidekick but was hit by an acupressure pin that causes him to be still.
Taotie started to explain. "I've spent years making detailed pressure points on each of you before the panda and that human arrived. It only took me a couple months to add those two charts to my machine. With one little strike from my rods, I can force Mantis to spin like a child's toy. Make Viper in a pretzel, dance the Monkey while having Crane piss himself."
His rod strikes Mantis and the green bug started spinning uncontrollably. Viper leaps in the air to attack but was hit by a rod making her body to be a pretzel. Monkey kicks the machine a couple times, and he was hit by a rod that force him to dance. Crane didn't get a chance to attack as he hit by a rod that force his body to put his wings in front of him and falls to the ground.
"In other words, I've found the perfect weapon to destroy all of you is you!"
Leo kept running down the road and spots Tigress and Yao stopping on a roof. He hops onto a pile of boxes to the roof. The human made it to the top of the roof with the two masters.
"How thrilling! I've never hid from an angry mob before. What a thrilling experience you have given me!" Yao smiled as he sat with his legs crossed. "Now your question."
"Look, I keep telling everyone I don't have a question for you." Tigress said annoyed.
"Of course you do. Shifu, the Dragon Warrior and the rest of the Furious Five has taken me up on my offer and you did not. Why is that, I wonder?"
"You heard my girlfriend. Don't have her repeat herself, Master Yao." Leo growls at him.
"But of course she does, Leo. Am I performing the Dipping Phoenix Kick move correctly? Is Master Shifu proud of me? Why am I so angry?"
Tigress expression softens up and her eyes widen at the goat's comment.
"I see you're surprised, Master Tigress. Then you wouldn't mind if I ask you a question then. What do you wish to know if you refuse to ask?"
Leo looks at his girlfriend with concern. He places a hand on her shoulder. The human knew Tigress was ridiculed in the past for asking questions.
"Aaah!"
The young man turns around to hear Po screaming off in the distance.
"That scoundrel Taotie has taken the Jade Palace with his mighty new weapon!" Yao exclaims.
"You knew about this?" Tigress looks at the goat.
"I know everything." The goat replied.
"Tigress, you stay here with Master Yao out of sight. I'll be back once I kicked Taotie's ass out of the Jade Palace." Leo said he prepared to leave.
"That will be unwise for you, Leo." Yao said, causing the human to look at him. "There is a way for both of you to defeat Taotie."
"Then tell us." Leo said.
"I shall tell you when you present me a new wonder to experience."
"What?! Gr!" Tigress growls. She picks up a gray rock. "Here!"
"I have seen rocks before." Yao replied.
"This one is grey."
"That's good but I've seen those before."
Leo lets out a low annoyed sigh.
Po, Shifu and the rest of the Five were bound in their chains at the Training Hall. Po and Monkey were both hit by the acupressure rods. The two of them ran and head butted each other as Shifu got hit by a rod.
"Pretty dingle pony bacon wanna ride the chu-chu!" Shifu sang.
"I didn't know there was a pressure point for that." Po said.
"That's the magic, my dear flabby fool, of the unerringly accurate acupressure. So, I can make you do anything." Taotie rolls forward.
"Release us, Taotie. You had your fun." Shifu looks up at them.
"And why should I end my fun now? The fun is just beginning because we're taking this acupressure puppet show down in the valley so everyone can watch my machine crushed your pathetic kung fu." Taotie lowers his seat to Shifu's eye level. "And you'll be crushed." He raised the seat back to its position.
Bian Zao watches the rod strikes Po and the rest of the Five. They began to stack onto one another and lands on Shifu, forcing him to hold all his students.
"You're going to break your stupid puppets." Bian Zao pointed out to his father.
"They're suffering, son. Art is suffering."
"You can't expect us to do this forever!" Po shouted.
"That's true. Your bodies will give out and you'll all die." Taotie said.
A rod strikes Shifu and everyone fell on top of him.
Taotie moves his sphere into the village. "Ladies and gentlemen, Taotie and son presents-"
"Don't include me." Bian Zao interrupted.
"These idiots." Taotie presented.
From another part of the village, Leo and Tigress watch their friends.
"Are you just going to let this happen?" The feline approaches him.
"It is not up to me to interfere. Everyone has shown me a new wonder and asked a question except for you two. Where are your wonders?" Yao asked them.
The villagers watch the warriors beat each other up. Viper slams Mantis into a wall. Po punches Crane's foot, causing him to hop up and down. The panda quickly approaches a pig lady.
"Ma'am. I need you to find Tigress, Yao and Leo. Tell them-" Po was saying to her but he got struck from behind and started to kiss her a long time. "Gah!" Po gasps for air. "I didn't-"
The pig didn't listen and kicks him in the jaw.
Tigress desperately search for a wonder to show to Master Yao. She picks up a roof tile and shows it him. "This roof tile."
"I have seen roof tiles before." Yao replied.
"The sky."
"It is a beautiful day. I've already seen it."
She picks up the same roof tile from before. "This other roof tile."
"Tigress, that's the same roof tile you just showed Master Yao not even five seconds ago." Leo pointed out.
"Gah!" She yells in anger.
Leo and Yao watches her tosses it in the air and destroys it with two palm strikes.
"Hard style is excellent for kung fu, but not so great with children." Yao pointed out.
Leo lets out an irritating snarl. He turns back around and saw Po tossing a cart of knives in the air and destroys it. The panda kicks several knives to Shifu and the rest of the Five.
"Damnit." Leo cursed and turns around. "We're running out of time."
"Is there a point to this, and if so, can you make it a little bit quicker." Tigress asked him.
"You should forgive my fascination, Master Tigress. There is a saying that curiosity killed the cat. It's strange to see a cat kill her curiosity. Why is it that you killed your own curiosity? What has curiosity ever done to you?" Yao looks at her with his gentle eyes.
Tigress began remembering what happened in the past. She was ridiculed by those who laughed at her when the orange feline asked why the apples are red or why the sun shines in the sky. Tigress started breathing heavily and closed her eyes. "I..." Tigress turns her back on him.
The orange feline walks away and stops when she felt a pair of arms around her waist. Master Yao watched with interest as Leo hugs Tigress. The human's expression hasn't changed. His jade green eyes were fixated on the goat smiling at the two.
Yao stands up and approaches the two. He grabs her paw as Leo releases her. "The stoic Master Tigress displays her total and utter vulnerability as Leo hugs her. What a fabulous, precious and rare wonder to experience from you, Master Tigress. Now, what is your question?"
Tigress opens her eyes and looks down at the master. "How can Leo and I stop Taotie's machine?"
"An excellent question! First, you will need a box." Yao answered.
Taotie watched the his puppets started throwing knives to each other with their kung fu. Mantis and Shifu bang their knives against one another before Mantis kicks them into the air above the villagers and the panda caught them.
He throws them to a wall and narrowly misses Viper. "I'm sorry!" Po apologizes ash he started juggling three knives. He throws the three knives to Monkey. "Watch out Monkey!"
Monkey saw the three knives flying towards him and started to scream in a panic.
"Ha!" Tigress lands in front of Monkey and deflect the knives. She hops onto a pile of barrels where Leo was standing on.
"What?!" Taotie shouted in anger.
"This pathetic show of yours is over, Taotie." Leo growled, drawing the diamond sword of the case.
"I was beginning to wonder where my last two puppeteers went." Taotie said.
"Be careful, you two. His thing does... things." Po wanes Tigress and Leo.
Taotie stares at him with a blank expression. "Alright, I'll bite. What's in the box?"
Tigress removes the lock.
"Hello, that's Master Yao's box! He's going to come of his box and-"
Tigress opens the box and it was empty. She steps inside and the closed. The human tosses his sword case to the ground near Master Shifu's feet.
"Okay, I wasn't expecting that." Po admitted.
The box shook for a moment.
"That's right! Tremble in fear! All will learn to fear and respect-"
Tigress lets out a yell as the box flies toward Taotie. It was a direct hit. The sphere rolls backward and knocks Bian Zao out of the seat. The sphere hits into the wall.
"Ha!" Leo shouted as he lunges at the sphere. He quickly blocks several rods with his sword. Leo leans his bag from a rod that was coming to his chest and dives backwards.
Tigress came from above and hits the rod, forcing the sphere to spin. Leo dives behind the box as Taotie sends rapid rods at the box. With each impact Po, Shifu and the rest of Five saw the two warriors covered in a dust a cloud.
"Ha ha-" Taotie laughed with his hooves raised and it was cut short as an orange beam missed his nose. He slowly looks down and saw Leo standing in front of the box.
The human does a backflip and Tigress slams into the box a couple times. The box bounces off the sphere and fires off from the building. It was pushed back a couple feet away from Taotie.
Leo hops onto the rod and jumps forward to dodge a rod from behind and lands behind the box as the box fell forward.
Taotie rolls the sphere forward and notices the sphere stops. "What?" He looks around confused.
Leo and the box were underneath the sphere. They both knock the sphere off the box and Tigress started spinning the sphere fast before sending it into another building.
"Stop that! I acupressure command you!" He commanded and fired a rod to them.
The box slams the rod back into the sphere before jumping back into the air with Leo. They fell down onto the sphere and destroyed it, causing a dust cloud to appear.
Taotie yelled and hits the ground in front of the warriors. He sits up moaning and saw his ultimate weapon destroyed. "My Sphere of Unerringly Accurate Acupressure is completely ruined!" Taotie cried as he ran past his son to look at the pile. "Except-"
"GAH!" Leo bellowed, bursting out of the pile and startling the two warthogs. He took advantage of their surprised and did a strong upper cut to Taotie's jaw and watched the warthog hits the ground and went unconscious.
"Gr!" Leo growls at him before turning around to lift the box. He removes the lock and open the door as the others approached them.
"Well done, you two!" Shifu smiled.
Leo offered his hand to Tigress and she grabs his hand before stepping out of the box.
"That was the most awesome... What was that? Box-Fu? Kung-Tainer?" Po asks Tigress.
The feline remains silent and looks at Yao. He gives her a small wink and gestured his head. She turns her head to the right and notices her boyfriend's expression was still the same all day today. Her boyfriend walks over to Shifu to retrieve his sword case.
Shifu hands the sword case over to the young man. Leo didn't say anything and bow his head to the red panda. He approached Master Yao. "The next time something happens like this, you tell us how to stop it without wasting our damn time to show you a new wonder and asking you a question." Leo said coldly.
"It's not bad to ask things that help us, Leo. Even if they are unnecessary questions or stupid questions." Master Yao replied. "But let me ask you a question. Why is it that you're angry about this event? Are you afraid of something will repeat itself?"
Tigress and the others watched Leo turns his head away from the master. She noticed something in his eyes she never seen before. There was a little bit of fear and regret in his eyes. This made the feline grew more concern to the human. The feline warrior didn't say anything.
Leo looks back at the master. He bows his head to Master Yao and walks away from his girlfriend and masters. The human stops and looks at the unconscious Taotie. "Damn scum." Leo cursed before leaving the area.
Monkey and Mantis's mouths were open a little ajar. Viper and Crane cast a nervous glance to one another. Po wanted to say something to break the silence, but he remained quiet. Shifu stood there a little shocked and surprised toward Leo.
"That was kind of unexpected." Mantis spoke.
"Yeah. Leo really didn't like the Wonder and Exchange today." Monkey said.
"I'm glad that he didn't try to challenge Yao. He did try to challenge Master Chao to allow Shifu to stay and remain at the Jade Palace." Viper reminded them.
"I wonder why Leo was like this today." Mantis wondered.
"Hm." Tigress folded her arms over her chest and started to think. "I think it has something to with his nightmare."
"Nightmare? About what?" Po asked her.
"An incident. Panther told me and Viper that Leo has been having terrible nightmares of an incident that happened five years ago." Tigress replied.
"It can't be that bad." Mantis said.
"He's been having the same nightmare for five years, Mantis." Viper pointed out. "Panther didn't tell us what caused the incident for Leo to have nightmares about it. Leo must be the one to talk about it and the nightmares will go away. He doesn't want any of us to worry about him."
"And we shouldn't force him to talk about it." Tigress added.
"Hm." Shifu strike his beard. "Tigress, Viper, I want you two to explain what the three of you discussed at Gongmen City when we get back to the Jade Palace."
"Yes Master." Tigress bows her head to him. "He did mention he had a rough night last night."
"Looks like it's the afternoon right now." Monkey noticed the sun has set.
"Looks like it's time for me to move on to my next destination!" Master Yao exclaims with a smile on his face as he walks to his meditation box.
"Master Yao, before you leave, I want to ask you a couple questions." Tigress said.
"Of course, Master Tigress."
"Do you think Po, Shifu, the rest of the five, Leo and myself will meet The Black Spirit again?"
"The Black Spirit has fought along side all of you and The Black Spirit is closer than you all think." Yao answered.
The others were a little confused at Master Yao.
"Will Leo be able to be reunited with his parents he lost?"
"That is fate to decide for Leo to whether or not be reunited with his parents."
"I see. Thank you, Master Yao." Tigress thanked him.
Leo left the library after dinner and his bath. He didn't find the answer in another scroll as usual. The human wasn't surprised. But he was glad that this Wisdom and Exchange is over. Leo didn't deny he had serious questions about Kaira, Enya and his parents.
It wasn't right to ask those questions because Shifu, Po and the Furious Five would listen and the villagers would talk about and it would spread like wildfire. But he doesn't believe that Master Yao knows the answers to his questions. Leo came from a world where humans exist. These are problems Leo had to do without their help.
Leo steps insides his room and closed the door. He opens his trunk and takes out the demonic mask. The human stares at the design. While he was staring, the door opens and a bowl breaks on the floor.
"Leo?"
"Shit." Leo mumbled as he buried his face against the mask.
Authors Note:Uh-oh! Looks like someone is about to know's Leo secret. How will this turn out for Leo and this person? It's about time someone was going to find out. This is one secret I chose to do for this chapter because I felt like it was time to have this secret found out now.
The other secrets that Leo has would be too soon to put it in this chapter because Master Yao could answer any question after years of meditation. This cause Leo to be cold, fierce and a little dark like this for the chapter since Master Yao arrives. He doesn't believe Master Yao knows the answers to his questions.
