Author's Note: Here's how the voting went in 'Smells Like Teen Drama'
Leshawna (3): Owen, Cody, Cameron
Harold (3): Brick, Zoey, Dawn
Brick (1): Leshawna
Dawn (1): Harold
Because of a tie of 3 votes, a Sudden Death Dance-Off challenge was used as a tiebreaker and Leshawna lost.
(Day 11)
After a night of sleeping outside, Duncan woke up to "Falling Inside the Black" from Skillet and groaned.
"Goddamnit." Duncan said, knowing he would have to deal with his teammates and John's nonsense.
He got out of his sleeping bag, only wearing his signature skull T-shirt and white boxers. He thought about putting his pants on but decided to do it later. His goal right now was to go the Spa Hotel and get some food.
(Confessional)
"So yesterday was eventful, to say the least. We lost but Team Villainy is starting to get unstable thanks to Duncan's behavior. We might be able to use that to our advantage, as cruel as it is to say." said Brick.
STATIC
"Well, this is it. Today is the day that Duncan and I are officially through. I don't want to hurt him, I really don't, but he left me with no choice. (Sigh) I should talk about this to someone. Maybe I should tell Cody. He's a good listener." said Gwen.
STATIC
"Initially, I was going to wait until the merge to execute my plan but after the last few days, it would be ideal to move it ahead of schedule." said Alejandro.
STATIC
A distraught Harold looked into the camera and said, "Yesterday sucked. All because I lost the love of my life thanks to that dumb tiebreaker. Leshawna if you're watching this, I…I miss you.", before breaking down into tears.
"Why do you have to leave me?!" Harold cried.
STATIC
"I really hope Duncan gets his act together today. Because if he doesn't and we end up losing today's challenge, he's going to get booted off for sure and then I'll be screwed. I think I'm starting to regret this alliance." said Noah.
(End Of Confessional)
When Duncan entered the Spa Hotel, whatever conversation his teammates were having died immediately when they saw him. They all looked at him, with some giving him judgmental stares, the stares he had grown used to.
"What?" asked Duncan.
"Nothing." said Alejandro.
"It better be nothing." Duncan said before he got himself some food and sat down at the table.
He wanted to sit next to Gwen, but it was clear by her body language that she did not want to be near him right now, so he sat next to Noah instead.
"Duncan, where are your pants?" an annoyed Heather asked.
"Outside." said Duncan.
"Why don't you have them on?" asked Heather.
"I didn't feel like putting them on." said Duncan.
"Ugh. You're unbelievable." said Heather.
"What? It's just my boxers. It's not like I'm wearing tighty whities like Farm Boy." Duncan said, insulting Scott in the process.
Courtney saw Scott frown at Duncan's comment and decided to take a jab at her ex.
"Well, at least Scott doesn't wet the bed." said Courtney.
Everyone's eyes widened at Courtney's response, and they all looked at Duncan to see his reaction. And his face was about as red as Zoey's hair.
"No! That's not…I…you…ARGH!" Duncan yelled before getting out of his chair and leaving the table.
"So, the delinquent bad boy is a bed wetter. That's hilarious." said Heather.
"IT WAS ONE FUCKING TIME!" Duncan yelled before walking out of the Spa Hotel, extremely embarrassed.
(Confessional)
"Well, since Courtney blurted it out, I might as well give you the story. (Sigh) So, during Action, I drank a little too much soda before going to bed and when I woke up, I saw that I pissed myself like a goddamn 5-year-old. And what made it even worse was that when I tried to wash my sheets without anyone noticing, Courtney caught me. It was the most embarrassing shit ever. Thanks for making my day worse, Princess." Duncan said bitterly.
STATIC
"Okay, so maybe I shouldn't have revealed one of Duncan's embarrassing secrets in front of everyone, but I couldn't help myself. He was being an ass, so I had to bring down that weak confidence of his. Plus, what I said isn't even his worst secret, as I have a TON of dirt on him. But for his sake, the rest of those secrets will remain private. Unless he forces them out of me." said Courtney.
(Scene Change)
Team Heroism was outside and talking amongst themselves. Everyone was in a relatively good mood, except for Harold and Zoey, who were both saddened by Leshawna's elimination.
(Confessional)
"It sucks that Leshawna is gone. She was fun to be around, and I enjoyed talking with her about various things, like our love lives. I personally think that tiebreaker was unfair but at least she didn't get eliminated by a parrot or Alejandro." said Zoey.
(End Of Confessional)
"So, how are you holding up?" asked Zoey.
"Not very good." said Harold.
"Yeah, it sucks Leshawna got booted from the show. Heck, it sucks when we vote off people from our team. It never feels good to do that." said Zoey.
"Yeah." said Harold.
"Look, I know it's hard when you lose someone you love in this game. I lost Mike and I only got to spend one day with him this season. But if there's one thing I've learned, it's that you can't be sad about their elimination forever. Instead, you need to use it as fuel to do well in challenges and hopefully make it to the end. That's what Mike wants from me and I'm sure that's what Leshawna wants from you." said Zoey.
"You're right. Being sad the whole time isn't going to get me and my beautiful lady that $5 million. I need to use my mad skills and Leshawna's love!" said Harold.
"That's the spirit, Harold!" said Zoey.
"Yeah! Thanks for that by the way. I really needed it." said Harold.
"No problem." said Zoey.
(Scene Change)
Outside, Cody was playing on one of his gaming handhelds he secretly brought with him when he heard Gwen calling his name.
"Gwen?" asked Cody.
Gwen walked up to him and said, "Look, I know we're not supposed to talk to each other because we're on different teams, but I need to talk to you about something." said Gwen.
"Okay. What do you want to talk about?" Cody asked, not sure where this was going.
"Well, before I tell you, can you promise not to tell anyone else? You're pretty much the only person I can trust with this information." said Gwen.
"Absolutely. My lips are sealed. You can tell me anything." said Cody.
"Okay. (Sigh) Today, I'm planning on breaking up with Duncan." said Gwen.
"Woah. Is this because of what he said yesterday?" asked Cody.
"That's part of the reason. I'm also planning on getting back together with Trent. We talked last night, and we both agreed to it but only after I broke things off with Duncan. And…I hate that I have to do this to Duncan because I like him. I really enjoyed being with him, but he's burned me too many times, and…do you think I'm making the right call?" asked Gwen.
"Well, judging by what I've seen, it might be best for you two to split. If you're unhappy with him, then you should probably break things off before things get any worse. That's just my opinion." said Cody.
"Yeah, but I'm worried about hurting him because that's the last thing I want to do. I don't want to make him so mad he'll do something he'll regret." said Gwen.
"Maybe it won't come to that. I think if you fully explain why you want to end the relationship, he might be understanding. Besides, I think he's fully aware that the relationship is over." said Cody.
"You think so?" asked Gwen.
"I do. And no matter what reaction you'll get from Duncan, everyone here, or anyone watching at home, I'll be by your side." said Cody.
Feeling much better after talking with Cody, Gwen hugged him and said, "Thanks Cody."
"Anytime." Cody said, accepting the hug.
(Scene Change)
Back at the Spa Hotel, Alejandro and Heather were talking to each other while walking up to Jo and Lightning.
"Are you sure this is going to work?" asked Heather.
"I am certain this will work." said Alejandro.
(Confessional)
"After yesterday's challenge, Heather and I discussed what we should do regarding Duncan's behavior. And we agreed that we should perform a hostile takeover. After all, it's not wise to have an emotionally unstable leader. But for our plan to be more effective, we need more allies. And I know exactly who we should recruit." said Alejandro.
(End Of Confessional)
"Jo. Lightning. We have something we would like to discuss with you." said Alejandro.
"What is that something?" asked Jo.
"Yeah, whatever it is, make it quick. I need to get a workout in before today's challenge." said Lightning.
"Okay, I believe we're all in agreement when I say Duncan is a bad leader." said Alejandro.
"Absolutely." said Jo.
"Totally." said Lightning.
"Good. Now, Heather and I have talked about how we're going to deal with this issue. And fortunately, we have a plan." said Alejandro.
"And what exactly is this plan?" asked Jo.
"For the 4 of us to form an alliance." said Heather.
"Why would we agree to that?" asked Lightning.
"Because together, we're the perfect mix of brawn and brains. Heather and I are strategists who know how this game operates, while you two made it quite far thanks to your athleticism and ruthlessness." said Alejandro.
"That's true." said Jo.
"So, with the 4 of us working together, not only can we get rid of Duncan and any allies he has but we can also dominate the game and make it to the final 4." said Alejandro.
"That does sound…enticing." said Jo.
(Confessional)
"Now, I know by aligning with AleHandwalker and the Wicked Witch herself, I'm making a deal with the Devil. Or in this case, the Devils. But as much as I don't trust them, I trust Duncan even less. And the sooner we get rid of him and by extension Noah, the better." said Jo.
STATIC
"Personally, I'm joining the alliance mainly to get rid of Noah and it's not because he likes dudes. It's because he reminds me too much of Cameron and anyone who reminds me of that pathetic little geek is going down." said Lightning.
(End Of Confessional)
"What do you say?" asked Alejandro.
Jo and Lightning thought about Alejandro's offer and all the positives and negatives that would come with it.
Ultimately, Jo said, "We're in."
"Excellent." said Alejandro.
(Scene Change)
The 7 members of Team Heroism and the 9 members of Team Villainy were now outside the main lodge as John announced today's challenge.
"Alright, All-Stars, today's challenge is going to be specifically team-based, as it will require all of you to participate. Not only that but it's a challenge from the past." said John.
"Is it a bad one?" asked Scott.
"Actually, no. It's a challenge from Total Drama World Tour and it's one of the few that doesn't need to take place in a specific foreign country." said John.
(Confessional)
"I'm glad some of these World Tour challenges are doable here because I was not about to waste time and money going across the world for a few challenges." said John.
(End Of Confessional)
"Which country did this challenge take place in?" asked Zoey.
"Sweden." said John.
"Oh no. We're doing that boat challenge again, aren't we?" asked Courtney.
"Yep. We are doing a Viking-themed capture-the-flag challenge. And because I believe it's appropriate, I will now play the song that is associated with this challenge." John said as an intern rolled out a screen.
"No." said Duncan, who a look of horror in his eyes.
"Please don't." pleaded Cody.
"Don't you dare play that song!" yelled Heather.
"Too late." said John, as footage of the song 'We Built Gwen's Face' played on the screen.
As the song played, the Gen 1 All-Stars, especially Gwen, wished they were anywhere else, while the Gen 2 All-Stars, except for Zoey, were confused.
(Confessional)
"Honestly, after watching that video, I wish that volcano burned us alive in the World Tour finale. I know it sounds dark, but hey, this god-forsaken show wouldn't exist anymore, so it wouldn't be all bad." said Gwen.
STATIC
"Yeah, John can go fuck himself." said Duncan.
STATIC
"That song was weird. But those outfits? Sublime." said Brick.
STATIC
"Seeing Duncan wear that green sparkly outfit has got to be one of the weirdest things I've ever seen in my life. And I've seen flying goats." said Scott.
STATIC
"Wow, hearing that song again makes me so nostalgic. Can something be nostalgic if it's only a year old? I'm not sure. Anyway, those World Tour songs really brought back memories of me being a superfan. Memories that are now tarnished thanks to being on this show." said Zoey.
(End Of Confessional)
After a minute of hell, John stopped the song and said, "Alright, now that's done, it's time to explain the rules of this challenge. Alejandro, care to do the honors?"
"Gladly. The original challenge consisted of building something that would float in the water, ideally a ship and not a replica of someone's head, and one team would have to either capture a flag or sink the other team's ship to win." said Alejandro.
"Is that accurate, Owen?" asked Brick.
"Pretty much." said Owen.
"Thank you, Alejandro. The rules of this challenge will be unchanged, except for one thing. Instead of determining who will get the advantage by correctly assembling a ship, it will be determined by which ship looks more impressive." said John.
"And what is that advantage?" asked Brick.
"A cannon filled with bowling balls." said John.
"Bowling balls? We had to use rocks last time." said Duncan.
"Yeah, I wanted to change the weapons. Oh, and whoever doesn't get the cannon with bowling balls, gets a cannon filled with marbles." said John.
"Great." Noah said sarcastically.
"The materials you need for your ships will be at the beach, so, get a move on. I don't want to waste time." said John.
(Confessional)
"I'm seriously struggling to understand why we're using cannons in a Viking-themed challenge. Cannons weren't even invented yet when the Vikings were around. It makes no sense." said Cameron.
STATIC
"Yes, I am fully aware that Chris got his information wrong when it came to Vikings using cannons, but I decided to keep them because I thought it would be the challenge exciting. I mean what else was I going to do? Have the All-Stars throw axes at each other?" said John.
(Scene Change)
Now at the beach, John announced, "Okay, I've separated the materials into two piles, one for each team. You have 2 hours to assemble your ships. Now, get building!"
The teams then got into group huddles to discuss their plans.
"Alright guys, any ideas?" asked Brick.
"We could have a theme." said Zoey.
"Maybe we could make our ship based on our team's name?" asked Harold.
"Yeah, and we can decorate it with all our teammates that got booted off." said Owen.
"That's a great idea. Cody, can you make it happen?" asked Brick.
"You can count on me." Cody said before the group began building their ship.
Meanwhile, in Team Villainy's group huddle, things weren't going as smoothly.
"Okay, so for our ship, I was thinking our ship should have a punk Viking design." said Duncan.
"Punk Viking?" asked Jo.
"Yeah, a Viking ship mixed with some punk energy." said Duncan.
"That has to be one of the worst ideas I've ever heard in my life." said Heather.
"Well, I don't see you coming up with suggestions, Ms. Creatively Bankrupt." said Duncan.
"Guys, we're wasting time. Let's just go with Duncan's idea, as weird as it is." said Noah.
For the next 2 hours, the two teams worked on their ships and tried to make them as eye-catching as possible, so they could get that bowling ball cannon.
While building their team's ship, Scott went up to Courtney and said, "Courtney, I think you should apologize to Duncan for what you said earlier."
"(Sigh) I know. I only said it because he insulted you but looking back at it, yeah, it was completely unnecessary." said Courtney.
"So, when do you plan on doing it?" asked Scott.
"Well, there's no harm in doing it now." said Courtney.
Courtney then went up to Duncan and said, "Duncan?"
"Oh hey, Princess. Care to spill more of my embarrassing secrets to everyone?" Duncan asked bitterly.
"Duncan, I…I'm sorry." said Courtney.
It took Duncan a few seconds to process the words that came out of Courtney's mouth because it was rare to hear that from her.
"You're sorry?" replied Duncan.
"I recognize that what I said was wrong. I shouldn't have brought up your bed-wetting incident on the show. It was a low blow and I apologize for making it public." said Courtney.
"Well, I appreciate you coming up to me and admitting you were wrong, so I accept your apology. Just don't bring up anything else because remember Princess, I have plenty of dirt on you too. Keep that in mind." said Duncan.
"Duly noted." Courtney said before she and Duncan went back to building their team's ship.
2 Hours Later
"Alright, time's up! Let's see what you'll be sailing on." said John.
John walked up to Team Heroism's ship first, which was decorated with carvings of every member of their team, even the ones who had been eliminated, and had a mast with a giant version of Team Heroism's logo.
"Alright Heroism, what am I looking at?" asked John.
"Well, we decided our ship's theme was going to be based on our team, so we wanted to represent everyone who was a part of our group by putting their faces on the ship." said Zoey.
"Okay, it's a little basic but I appreciate the effort. And…why is Izzy a part of the group?" asked John, who noticed the Psycho Hose Beast's face on the ship.
"That was a personal request from me. I think if she was a contestant, she'd be on our team for sure." said Owen.
"I guess that makes sense even though it would be a stretch to call her a hero considering her personality… and criminal record." said John.
(Confessional)
"If you ask me, I'm glad Izzy's not in the game. I mean I can deal with crazy, but I don't think I can handle Izzy-levels of crazy." said John.
(End Of Confessional)
John then walked up to Team Villainy's ship, which was painted black and decorated with skulls wearing Viking helmets and the mast was a giant picture of a skeleton triumphantly holding two swords in the air while wearing a Viking helmet.
"Team Villainy, care to explain your design?" asked John.
"Gladly. My team and I wanted to do something different, so I came up with the idea of doing a mashup between Viking culture and punk culture. Gwen did most of the art, while I added a few things here and there." said Duncan, making sure to give Gwen credit for her work, even though she was ignoring him.
"Hmmm. I like it. I like it a lot. So, I guess this is a battle between sentimental and style and if you ask me, I'm going to have to pick style. Team Villainy gets the advantage and the bowling ball cannon!" said John.
Team Villainy celebrated this while an annoyed Team Heroism was stuck with the marble cannon.
"Now, it's time for the challenge to truly begin, so get your ships in the water and start sailing." said John.
The two teams were ready to push their ships and just as Team Villainy was about to push theirs, tensions began to flare up again.
"Okay everyone, I have a plan that will guarantee us victory." said Alejandro.
"Woah, La Cucaracha, who said you were in charge?" asked Duncan.
"Duncan, I don't believe it's wise for someone who's emotionally unstable to lead a team right now." said Alejandro.
"Oh yeah because it's totally a good idea to trust the guy who manipulated and deceived his way to almost winning this show." said Duncan.
"At least, I'm not in a disastrous relationship." said Alejandro.
"At least, I'm not dating a total skank." said Duncan, shocking his teammates and making Jo laugh in the process.
(Confessional)
"What? I thought Duncan said was funny. Besides, it's not like it wasn't true." said Jo.
STATIC
"You have no idea how hard it was for me to control the urge to curb stomp that degenerate after what he said about Heather. But I knew I had to keep some level of composure because I still had to execute my plan. A plan that would now be even more satisfying." said Alejandro.
(End Of Confessional)
"You're not fit to be captain!" said Alejandro.
"I'd rather be mauled by a bear than allow myself to be led by a piece of shit like you!" said Duncan.
"Guys! We're falling behind!" said Courtney.
Duncan and Alejandro noticed that Team Heroism's ship had already taken off and they decided to put their animosity on hold.
"Shit! Let's go!" said Duncan, as Team Villainy quickly pushed their ship into the water and began to sail to catch up with Heroism.
(Scene Change)
Meanwhile, Team Heroism had a solid amount of distance between them and Villainy and were now figuring out their strategy.
"Wow, John supplied us with a ton of marbles." Zoey said, holding several bags filled with at least a hundred marbles each.
"It still doesn't change the fact we're at a disadvantage. One of Villainy's bowling balls can easily crash through our ship and if that happens, it's over." said Cameron.
"We could try catching them." said Owen.
"Catching a bowling ball? Are you even hearing yourself?!" asked Cody.
"I meant we could catch them with a net or something, not our hands." said Owen.
"Now that makes a lot more sense." said Cody.
"Team, I like the defense talk but I think we need to think about offense." said Brick, who was sailing the ship.
"Maybe we can shoot the marbles at Villainy's mast. Without a mast, they can't go anywhere." said Cameron.
"Wouldn't that require a ton of ammo?" asked Zoey.
"Yes. It's a high-risk, high-reward situation but it's all we got." said Cameron.
"Sounds like a plan." said Brick.
(Scene Change)
On Team Villainy's ship, the group was mostly silent, as they were focused on catching up to Heroism so they could start firing at them.
As Duncan was steering the ship, Alejandro whispered his plan to Jo and Lightning before walking up to Duncan.
"Duncan, may I have a word?" asked Alejandro.
"What?" replied Duncan.
"I would like to apologize for my words. It was unnecessary for me to insult your relationship or your mental state. I'm sorry." said Alejandro.
Not trusting Alejandro's words, Duncan asked, "You're sorry?"
"Not really. And I'm even less sorry for what's about to happen next." said Alejandro.
"Huh?" Duncan asked before he was suddenly grabbed by Jo and Lightning.
"Hey! What the hell!" Duncan said as Jo and Lightning lifted him and threw him overboard into the water, shocking the rest of the team.
"It's for the good of the team, Duncan. You understand." Alejandro said to Duncan, who was now floating in the water, pissed off beyond belief.
"Hey, who said you can throw people off the ship?" asked Noah.
"If you want to question me, then you can join your friend. In fact, you can join him now." Alejandro said before snapping his fingers.
Jo and Lightning quickly grabbed Noah and tossed him into the water with no effort.
"Does anyone else have something to say?" asked Alejandro.
Gwen, Courtney, and Scott remained silent.
"That's what I thought." said Alejandro before Heather went up to him and kissed him.
"Now that's the Alejandro I fell in love with." said Heather.
(Confessional)
"Seems we now have a power struggle. Just what our team needs." said Gwen with a heavy dose of sarcasm.
STATIC
"When I get my hands on Alejandro, he'll wish he was still in that Drama Machine." said Duncan, who was soaking wet.
(End Of Confessional)
Back on Team Heroism's ship, a few members of the team watched what went down on Villainy's ship and were surprised.
"Brick, both Duncan and Noah just went overboard." said Cody.
"What? Why?" asked Brick.
"I don't know. I guess they're going through a hostile takeover." said Cameron.
"And they're getting extremely close to us." said Dawn.
"Crud. Owen! Zoey! Get the net ready. Everyone else, prepare the cannon." said Brick.
"Will do, Captain." said Owen.
(Scene Change)
After swimming for about 10 minutes, Duncan and Noah finally made it back to land and they were greeted by John.
"Well, glad to see you two are okay. Not sure what you did to get ejected from your own ship, but I know it'll make for some good TV." said John.
"SHUT IT!" Duncan yelled before storming off.
"What's with him?" asked John.
"We just got betrayed by that eel and his cronies. That's what." said Noah as he walked away.
(Confessional)
"For the 2nd time on this show, Alejandro turns on me. And this time it was because of my association with Duncan. Ugh. He may be attractive, but he's probably the worst human I've ever met. Next to Chris, of course." said Noah.
STATIC
"YES! A betrayal within Team Villainy! This is just what I need to get those producers off my ass." said John.
(End Of Confessional)
On Team Villainy's ship, they were ready to fire their first bowling ball.
"Ready? Fire!" yelled Alejandro as Scott fired the first shot.
The bowling ball went flying in the air and Brick yelled, "Bowling ball incoming!"
Owen and Zoey grabbed the net and were luckily able to catch the ball, preventing it from damaging the ship.
"Man, that was close." said Owen.
"You can say that again." said Zoey.
"Good job team. Now it's time for some offense." said Brick.
Cody and Cameron poured a bag of marbles into the cannon and once Brick said, "Ready? Fire!", they fired their first shot at Villainy.
The marbles failed to penetrate Villainy's mast, but they were able to be a nuisance to the team, as Lightning and Scott both slipped and fell.
"Courtney! Fire the cannon!" yelled Alejandro.
Courtney ran to the cannon and quickly fired another bowling ball at Heroism's ship. And despite their best efforts, Owen and Zoey were unable to prevent the ball from doing damage this time, as it went through the floor. At the very least, the ball was still caught in the net, and it wasn't able to go through the bottom.
"Are we good?" asked Brick.
"We're still good." said Zoey.
While this was happening, a lightbulb went off in Harold's head and went up to Dawn and asked, "Dawn, you can communicate with animals, right?"
"I most certainly can." said Dawn.
"So, can you talk to sea creatures?" asked Harold.
(Confessional)
"Dawn is truly one of the coolest people I've ever met. Being able to read people's auras and talk to animals are skills I wish I could have. She's like a real-life superhero. It's awesome." said Harold.
(End Of Confessional)
Back on Team Villainy's ship, Alejandro was ready to issue another attack to Heroism, when suddenly, a fish jumped out of the water and slapped him across the face.
"Alejandro? Ow! Hey!" said Heather as she got a fish to the face.
Soon enough, multiple fish jumped out of the water and attacked Team Villainy.
While distracted, Team Heroism took advantage and fired a shot that penetrated Villainy's mast, meaning Villainy's ship couldn't go anywhere.
"Yes!" said Brick as he and his team celebrated, thinking they were going to win.
But Jo refused to let that become a reality.
"Not today, Captain Whizz!" Jo said before firing another bowling ball at Heroism's ship.
When firing, Jo didn't care too much about her aim, so the bowling ball was low enough to directly hit someone. No one was prepared for that type of shot and Brick saw that the bowling ball was heading straight for Dawn.
Not wanting any of his teammates to get hurt, Brick yelled, "Dawn!", before jumping in her path, shielding her in the process, and getting hit in the stomach with the bowling ball.
Everyone cringed at the impact, with Jo saying, "Oh shit."
(Confessional)
"Just to be clear, what happened to Brick was something I didn't plan on. I never intended to hurt Brick, he just happened to play the hero and sacrifice himself for his team. And yeah, I should've aimed higher with the cannon and not have been so reckless, but I wanted to win. And to win, you got to make morally shitty choices sometimes." said Jo.
STATIC
Brick, who was shirtless and had his mid-section covered in bandages, covered his stomach in pain and said, "I don't regret what I did but… (grimacing in pain) I think I may have just booted myself out of the game. It's hard to lead a team when my ribcage feels like it got shattered into a million pieces."
(End Of Confessional)
"BRICK! Are you okay?" asked Zoey as the rest of Team Heroism crowded around him.
"Not really." Brick said weakly.
Even though she knew this was morally wrong, Jo decided to live up to her team's name by firing another bowling ball while Heroism was distracted.
Sure enough, her idea worked, as the bowling ball went right through Heroism's ship, causing it to leak and slowly sink. And just to make sure Heroism didn't have a chance at winning, she fired three more bowling balls at Heroism's ship, which made it sink into the water.
"And just like that Team Villainy wins!" John announces through a megaphone.
"Hell yeah!" yelled Jo.
(Confessional)
"I can't describe how angry I am right now. It's bad enough we lost another challenge but the way we lost was a whole another level of wrong. Jo should be ashamed of herself." said Zoey.
(End Of Confessional)
Team Villainy (minus Duncan and Noah) pushed their ship back on the beach, while Team Heroism had to swim back to land.
"Team Villainy, congratulations. Heroism, I'll see you later tonight." said John.
"You sure will, losers! Woo!" said Heather as she, Alejandro, Jo, and Lightning grabbed each other's hands and lifted their arms in celebration.
Team Heroism glared at them, while Gwen, Courtney, and Scott looked indifferent.
But while celebrating, Duncan came out of nowhere to ambush Alejandro, delivering a punch to his upper back and knocking him down.
"Thought you could get away with throwing me overboard? Think again, prick!" yelled Duncan.
"Duncan, this isn't necessary." said Noah, who was out of breath, trying to catch up with Duncan.
"Shut up! I'm getting payback on this worthless bastard and none of you are going to stop me." Duncan said before Alejandro got up and tackled him to the ground.
Now, the two former members of 'Team Chris' were brawling, and several All-Stars tried to break them up but to no avail. Going against her better judgment, Courtney tried to pull Duncan off from Alejandro.
Not seeing who was touching him, Duncan said, "GET THE FUCK OFF ME!" before roughly shoving Courtney to the ground. Everyone went silent as Courtney looked at Duncan with fear in her eyes, while his eyes were filled with rage. It took a few seconds for Duncan to snap out of his fury and realize what he had just done.
Everyone looked at him with expressions that ranged from worry to absolute disgust. Feeling shameful, he quickly ran away from everyone and rushed back to the Spa Hotel, locking himself in his room.
(Confessional)
"I knew Duncan's anger was bad, but I didn't think it was this bad." said Zoey.
STATIC
"I've never seen Duncan so mad before. I think what he needs is a hug and someone to tell him that everything's going to be okay." said Owen.
(Scene Change)
Several Hours Later
Gwen went up to Duncan's door and knocked, dreading what she was about to do.
"Duncan, we need to talk." said Gwen.
A moment went by before Duncan unlocked and opened the door.
Gwen took a deep breath and said, "Duncan, it's over. I'm breaking up with you. I wish it didn't have to be this way, but you left me no choice. I'm sorry."
Gwen expected the absolute worst after saying those words. She thought Duncan would go berserk and do something that would land him in prison.
Instead, Duncan said, "I guess that's fair."
"You're…you're not mad?" a dumbfounded Gwen asked.
"No. It's probably for the best anyway. Trent was right. I fucked up your relationship with him and then I destroyed your friendship with Courtney. I've made your life worse by being around you. You deserve better than to be with a fuck-up like me." said Duncan.
"Duncan don't say that. Look, I like you and I don't regret the time we've spent together. You defended me when it felt like the whole world hated me. But I think it's clear we tried to distract each other by being together. It's obvious you still have feelings for Courtney, while I still have feelings for Trent. You and I both know this was never going to end well." said Gwen.
"I guess. So, I'm guessing you're going back to Trent." said Duncan.
"I am. We talked last night, and I wanted to let you know before we officially get together again, whenever that will be." said Gwen.
"Well, he was better for you than I ever was." said Duncan.
And just before Duncan shut his door, Gwen said, "Duncan, if you're not okay, you can talk to me, Cody, DJ, or any of us. It's not good to hold all that negativity in. Trust me, I would know."
Once Gwen left, Duncan sat down on his bed and processed what had just happened. While he was sad about the breakup, he knew it was for the best, as it was always doomed to fail.
"Well, it could've been worse." said Duncan.
His plan now was to sleep but he felt something weird under his pillow. Underneath the pillow, he found a DVD with a note attached to it.
The note said, "Duncan, I feel awful about what I did, and you deserve the right to know. I never should've accepted John's deal. I'm sorry. From, Trent."
"John's deal? What is he talking about?" asked Duncan before he played the DVD on the TV in his room.
And what he saw made him murderous.
The DVD played footage of Trent and John having a discussion prior to yesterday's challenge.
"Okay, repeat the plan to me." said John.
"I get Gwen's attention which will rile up Duncan and make him say something really stupid that will get Gwen to dump him." said Trent.
"Excellent." said John.
"I don't know man; don't you think this is really messed up? I mean I'm no fan of Duncan, but I don't think he deserves this." said Trent.
"Trent, you like Gwen, right?" asked John.
"Yeah?" replied Trent.
"You want to be with her again?" asked John.
"Of course." said Trent.
"Then let's do this. If this works, you'll get Gwen back and the show will get high ratings. It's a win-win for both of us. And a win for Gwen too." said Gwen.
"But…what about Duncan? Do you even care about how he would feel?" asked Trent.
"Not really. If you ask me, this is what he deserves. Not my fault he makes terrible decisions. So, are you in?" asked John.
"I…guess." An uncomfortable Trent said.
"Fantastic. Your $100K check will be waiting for you in your mailbox." said John.
Not wanting to hear anymore, Duncan angrily threw a remote at the TV, breaking it in the process. But he didn't care because all he wanted to do now was to put John in a coma.
(Scene Change)
The elimination ceremony was underway with Team Heroism once again sitting around the campfire.
"Alright Heroism, let's vote and get this over with." said John.
(Voting Booth)
"Choosing the weak link is getting harder and harder." Brick said before checking off a contestant.
STATIC
"I don't want to do this, but I have to vote off someone." Cody said before checking off a contestant.
STATIC
"These elimination ceremonies just keep getting worse. I don't want to vote for anyone here." Zoey said before sighing and checking off a contestant.
STATIC
"Sorry, dude." Owen said before checking off a contestant.
STATIC
"One thing I've learned about this show is that you need to think about potential threats." Harold said before checking off a contestant.
STATIC
"This never gets easier." Cameron said before checking off a contestant.

Dawn sighed before checking off a contestant.
(End Of Voting)
"Man, this was close but with 2 votes, the contestant going home is (cue dramatic pause) Harold." said John.
Harold was saddened by the result, as were the rest of his teammates.
"Sorry, man." said John.
(Confessional)
"Harold's gone. So much for that pep talk I gave to him earlier. But at least he'll be with Leshawna again. That's a positive." said Zoey.
(End Of Confessional)
"Farewell, Team Heroism. You were the best team I've ever been a part of." said Harold.
"We'll miss you, soldier." said Brick.
"Now, then…let's-" John said before being interrupted by a loud "JOHN!" from a distance.
Everyone looked to see where the yell came from and the source of the yell happened to come from Duncan, who walked towards John and had a look that can only be described as pure contempt.
"Duncan, I'm surprised to see you here. You're not really needed here unless you want to see Harold leave-" John said until Duncan shoved him to the ground.
"You fucking piece of shit." said Duncan.
"Duncan, what the hell, man?" asked John.
"You know what you did, John! Don't play fucking stupid!" yelled Duncan.
Team Heroism looked at the scene in confusion, as they didn't have a clue what was going on.
"Okay, what is happening here?" asked Brick.
Duncan looked at John and asked, "You want to tell them, or should I?"
John didn't answer, so Duncan said, "Well, then. If you all want to know, John here fucked me over yesterday. He came up with a plan where Trent had to rile me up so I could say something stupid that would get Gwen to break up with me. And the shitstain did it all for ratings."
Team Heroism looked at John and Cody asked, "John, is that true?"
John rolled his eyes and said, "Yeah, it's true."
Team Heroism gasped as they didn't think John would do something so insidious just for ratings.
"And you know what? I don't even feel bad. Your relationship with Gwen was always going to fail. I just accelerated its demise." said John.
"Why? Why do this to me? What did I ever do to you?" asked Duncan.
John got up off the ground before saying, "It's not about what you did to me. It's about what you've done to other people. Duncan, believe it or not, I don't hate you. In fact, I liked you. I rooted for you to win the first 2 seasons, your personality made the show entertaining to watch, and you're objectively one of the best to ever play this game. But after you cheated on Courtney to hook up with Gwen, you lost my respect."
"I had my reasons!" yelled Duncan.
"Doesn't change the fact that what you did was morally reprehensible, so one could say you had this coming for a long time. And can I just say that it's laughable you still maintain this bullshit 'bad boy' façade when we all know that aura died back in Season 1. You try so hard to be all 'punk' and 'hardcore' when most people who are like that don't even need to try. It's so sad. And as much as you want to present yourself as 'cool', we all know that inside, you're just a soft little bitch." said John.
Team Heroism was shocked at John's words and wondered how Duncan was going to react, as they'd never seen someone assassinate his character like that.
Without thinking about the legal ramifications, Duncan delivered a hard punch to John's face, breaking his nose in the process.
While in pain and bleeding, John didn't yell or scream at Duncan. Instead, he laughed at him. He laughed until he retaliated by giving Duncan a hard slap across the face. Incensed, Duncan brought John to the ground with a tackle and tried to strangle him, but Team Heroism managed to separate them before that could happen, with Owen and Brick pulling Duncan away.
Once there was enough distance between John and Duncan, Duncan broke free from Owen and Brick's grip before saying, "You better sleep with one eye open from now on, John.", and walking into the forest.
(Scene Change)
Now deep in the forest and away from everyone, Duncan allowed himself to cry and stabbed a nearby tree with his pocket knife multiple times. He then dropped to the ground, got on his knees, and unleashed a brutal scream that could be heard across the island.
Back at the campfire, Harold quickly left via the helicopter and John walked towards the camera and said, "Cut it off. We're done. Cut it.", before the camera went black.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Boy, this chapter was a lot. I've been thinking about this chapter's climax for MONTHS and I'm glad I've finally written it out. So, Gwuncan is officially over, and Duncan is in the worst state he's ever been in. Sad times. Things will get better for Duncan after this, I promise. Oh, and now Harold is eliminated. I didn't have much for him, so I thought it was best to boot him off. The next chapter will feature another past challenge, another one from Action that's all about superheroes. Stay tuned. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day. Bye for now and stay safe.
