Three months?
Oops...
I'm working hard to get some progress done on this. Family moved out of state, and it's taken me almost two months to get over to our new place and get settled. I finally have my pc set up, so hopefully I can get this thing schmoving. I've got an idea that's partially written out for the future of this story, though it might take me some time to catch up to it chronologically.
Anyways, enjoy!

My new clothing was more restrictive than my Jedi tunic, but it was the least expensive stuff that didn't stick out like a sore thumb. A shirt built for hot climates clung to my form. Pants designed to stave off both the sun and the reflection of it off sand and stone left me less flexible than I desired. A wrap went around my head and neck, leaving only my eyes visible. A coat sat on my shoulders, helpfully hiding my lightsabers. I couldn't afford to having them swinging around like a Jedi would, so I had my original hilt in a strap under my arm. Kalenta's saber was clipped into a holster on the back of my waist, out of sight.
I stepped over to the landing pad where Master Tress and I had arrived only to freeze. Clones surrounded the ship. I cursed and stepped away as calmly as possible. There was no way I was getting through all of them. I had no idea where Master Tress was either.
'She could be dead already…' I closed my eyes and reached out with the Force. Nothing. Either she was dead or abandoned the area.
"Captain." I turned to see one clone approaching another with markings on his armor. "No one was on the ship. There was this though." The clone held up a Jedi cloak. I gritted my teeth before turning to walk away.
"And we found this as well." I hesitated before turning to look over my shoulder. My eyes widened when the clone held up a lightsaber. My hand twitched and it took all of my willpower not to rip it from his grasp with a pull of the Force.
I turned and walked away. It wasn't my saber and would only jeopardize me if I tried to take it. If Master Tress had abandoned it to hide, good for her. I didn't wish her dead, obviously, but there was no way I was staying with her. The constant beratement was only distracting.
I was alone.
I nearly stumbled at that realization. I pressed the ball of my hand against my forehead to try and quell the headache that was coming on. After a moment, I centered myself and continued. I needed to find a way out of this city and find work or something. I could panic when I had a roof over my head.

I found a transport that took me to the next city. I only had enough credits for one or two nights at a cheap place and wanted to save them for bad weather. Rain storm, sand storm, whatever might be on this planet.
I spent the rest of the day looking for a job, even if it was behind a bar. I didn't know drinks, but I was always a quick study.
I sighed through my nose as the third bar turned me away. Something about looking too young. It wasn't like I was planning on drinking myself!
I cursed whatever genetics my parents had given me before stopping dead in my tracks.
Parents.
I hadn't thought of them in a long, long time. I didn't know them, but…maybe I could find out.
I had some searching to do.

Dank Farrik!
I tossed the data pad onto the seat next to me and rubbed my face with both hands. Nothing on my family name on Coruscant, Alderaan, nor any of the other worlds I had checked. I was half tempted to check places like Nal Hutta. Though the idea that I came from the slug planet sent shivers down my spine.
A standard month and a half had dragged by, filled with job hopping and finding safe(r) places to sleep. All of my free time was taken up by hunting down my family.
"Where could they be…?" I closed my eyes and focused on the one question that had plagued me for some time now. Meditation never came easy to me, with my mind swirling with the fantastic reality that was the Force and the universe in general. But with this one question in mind, I slipped into the Force.
"…me that wrench…"
"…lie to the boss!"
"Give me a moment, and all…"
Voices filtered through my mind's eye. Places appeared on the other side of a fog at the edge of my awareness. Emotions of every end of the spectrum filled my heart, making tears spring to my eyes as I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time.
Before I got lost in it all, I refocused.
'My family…my family…where are they…?' I felt something nudge my consciousness. Snapping to attention, I scanned over the thing. It was no more noticeable than a flea on an arm hair, but it was there nonetheless. Wariness filled my every move, but this was possibly my only chance.
Through space, I followed the tiny pull. I almost lost it a few times, but it seemed to wait for me. My uneasiness grew, but this tiny little thing didn't feel malicious.
Light began to filter through my eyes. The ball in front of me, I was assuming was a planet, was mostly white, indicating it was probably frozen over.
"You have certainly come a long way from your body." My awareness whirled around, feeling a presence behind me. A small, whitish-blue orb floated there, putting off an ethereal light that faded a short distance from it.
"Who are you?" I asked.
Without elaborating, it made its own comment.
"It is not often a Jedi communicates so easily through this method." The ball bobbed slightly with a voice that seemed to come from everywhere.
"I was just following the Force. Then following you, whoever you are."
"I see. Well, you will find what you need should you come here in person." The orb bobbed a little more before moving away.
"H-wait! Who are you?"
"That is something I am not to reveal at this time."
"Okay, but what planet is this?" The planet was still too blurry to make out. The voice was quiet for a while.
"You didn't finish your training." It wasn't accusatory in tone. Still, my head lowered.
"No…I can't."
"I see. Well, just remember to allow the Force to guide you, and you will find your way."
"Can you be a little less cryptic? Please?" I asked with honest exasperation. The orb bobbed a little.
"The one Jedi temple that you know about. Now, I must go, as should you." Before I could retort, I was shunted out of the vision and back into my own body.
"WAH-oof!" I pushed myself off the floor and rubbed my head. "Freaky Force orb…" I muttered as I got up. I sighed through my nose before cleaning up the clutter around me. Good thing I had been saving up, because I needed a ride off this planet.
I gathered my meager belongings, slinging my bag over my shoulder. The only Jedi Temple I knew about was Ilum. And that was a looong flight.
I stepped onto my "new" ship and set the coordinates for the hyperdrive. The old junker I had purchased was pretty much nothing but a very slow hyperdrive and a metal shell, but it worked well enough.
If I was going to Ilum, I needed to be prepared for the visions I was likely going to have. The place was so saturated with the Force, it liked to mess with peoples' heads. Even those who weren't there for a Kyber crystal.
Once I set off into hyperspace, I sat on the floor and crossed my legs. Resting my hands on my knees, I sighed through my nose and closed my eyes, slipping into a light meditation.
