"La La La Ex-u-plo-sion~~" Megumin sang with a skip in her step, a big grin on her face. "Ex-u-plo-sions with Ka-zu-ma~~"
"Why are you leaving me out of the song, Megumin?" Darkness questioned, following behind the pair.
"Why are you even coming with us?" Kazuma asked, turning his head to make eye contact with the crusader.
"Oh uh," Darkness stumbled, taken apart by the sudden question. "I would've been lonely back home I suppose, with Aqua out all day now,"
"How many more shifts till she pays off her tab?" Megumin asked, slowing down her skip to a normal walk.
"I'm not completely sure, but knowing Aqua it's gonna be a while,"
"She deserves it anyway…"
The group walked to their usual explosion location, only to be met with the silhouette of a tall, cloaked figure with two horns sticking out of their head standing at Megumin's favorite spot. Darkness, sensing something was amiss, held out her arm in front of the group.
"Darkness, what are you doing?" Kazuma whispered.
"Kazuma, I don't know why, but this person gives me a bad feeling,"
"Yeah, I agree," Megumin chimed in, readying her staff, clutching it in both hands as she stared down the mysterious figure.
"So you've arrived…" the deep female voice called out, a red hand rose to lower the black hood that covered the stranger's head, revealing her long white hair that puffed out like a lion's mane, with a pair dark, blood red horns.
"Who are you, state your business!" Darkness exclaimed, her hand hovering over her blade, ready to draw at a moment's notice.
"Yeah! What do you want with us!" Megumin followed.
"I'm not interested in you two… In fact I couldn't care any less about you too… I'm only interested in him…" the figure turned to reveal and pointed directly at Kazuma, revealing her face. She was slightly taller than Darkness, had red skin with dark red freckles and lips that matched her horns, sharp yellow eyes that pierced Kazuma's, body still covered by her cloak and a confident grin on her face.
"A demon!" Darkness cried, drawing her sword and pointing at the girl. "Get behind me!"
"I've been watching you for a while now Kazuma…" The demon said, sending a chill down Kazuma's spine. "You've killed a lot of my comrades, you know…" Her breath was like white smoke, her eyes seemed to glow, her voice causing the party to flinch.
Darkness gripped her sword tighter, Megumin began to chant under her breath, Kazuma kept a hand on his trusty shortsword…
The atmosphere was thick with tension, the party stared down the demon, ready to strike at any moment…
"Kazuma…" the demon said in a groveling voice…
She charged at Kazuma with blinding speed, Darkness unable to react to her rapid approach. "Kazuma!" She cried as she quickly turned on the heel of her foot, raising her sword to strike down the demon.
"You're like, sooooooo cool!" The demon squealed, her voice going from intimidating to a cutesy but still deep one, her eyes turning from sharp to golden stars. The demon clung to Kazuma's right arm with her muscular arms and laid her head on his shoulder.
"Huh?" The party reacted in surprise, taken aback by the sudden change in tone.
"Oh my Gods, I haven't even introduced myself yet!" the demon said, bumping the top of her head with her fist. "My name's Raemis and I'm like, your number one fan!"
Kazuma was red in the face, mostly attributed to the fact Raemis' ample chest was wrapping around his arm under her cloak. "The way you outsmart all those generals instead of using brute force is like, soooo hot,"
"H-Hey! Get off Kazuma!" Megumin stumbled out as she approached the two, only for Raemis to point a finger at Megumin's feet, shooting a small ball of fire at her, stopping her dead in her tracks.
"H-Hey! What was that for!"
"Don't think I don't see what you're doing! Keeping an eye on Kazuma means keeping an eye on you two! And all I can see is that you're trying to steal him from me!"
"Steal?!" Darkness and Megumin exclaimed in sync. "He's mine!"
"Raemis I-" Kazuma tried to speak before getting cut off by the demon.
"Rae to you~,"
"Rae, I appreciate that you like me, but-"
"I love you," Raemis quickly interjected.
"HUH?!" The entire party reacted.
"Get off him!" Megumin yelled as she attempted to approach the two again, Raemis reacting by shooting fire at Megumin's feet again. "Stop doing that!"
Darkness charged at the pair, taking Raemis by surprise, knocking her off Kazuma with a shoulder tackle. The demon stumbled back a few steps, the intimidating glare returning to her eyes as she stared down the group.
"Thanks Darkness," Kazuma and Megumin both said simultaneously, Kazuma still a little pink in the face.
"You'll pay for that!" Raemis roared, her mouth spitting fire towards Darkness, who instinctively turned her back towards the flames and hugged Kazuma and Megumin to protect them from the embers.
"You really have the guts to put your weak arms around that brilliant body?!"
"Darkness are you alright?" Kazuma asked as Darkness released him and Megumin, pulling out his trusty Chunchunmaru.
"I'm fine Kazuma, to be honest, it felt kind of pleasant,"
"Don't ignore me!" Raemis yelled as she charged at Darkness. Darkness turned, only to be met with the demon's fist colliding with her stomach.
Darkness was sent flying, only stopping after her back hit a tree.
"How's that! Your defense might be high, but your stance is terrible!" the demon boasted, laughing at Darkness. Raemis grabbed Megumin by the collar then threw her at Darkness, slamming against her with a great thud.
"You bastard!" Kazuma yelled, running towards his party members, making sure they were alright as he helped Megumin to her feet.
"You're always looking out for your friends that's sooo cooooool!" Raemis squealed, walking intimidatingly towards the party. "I hope you look out for me the most!"
Darkness jumped up, her armor cracking where the punch had landed, her sword too far to reach. She charged at the demon, her first raised as prepared to swing at her target. Darkness threw her fist with all her might, which Raemis dodged by stepping to the side. Reacting, the crusader quickly threw another punch, only for her target to dodge again.
"You never were one for offense," Raemis taunted as she continued to dodge the barrage of attacks. Kazuma, seeing that the demon was distracted, extended his hand, opening his palm towards Raemis.
"Biiiiinnnnd!" Kazuma cried as ropes shot out of his hand. Raemis was entrap by Kazuma's ropes, causing her to be unable to move.
"So that's how it feels…" she pondered, as she gazed at Kazuma. Darkness, seeing her chance, punched Raemis in the stomach as all she might, causing her to be sent flying, tumbling against the grass.
"Megumin now!" Kazuma commanded. Megumin, who had been chanting under her breath as soon as she got up, launched her devastating spell.
"EX-PLOOOO-SION!"
The blast blinded the group, planting their feet so as to not get blown away by the wind the blast caused. They shielded their faces with their arms as Megumin fell to the ground with mana fatigue.
"Di-did it work?" Darkness asked as she stood up, trying to spot Raemis where the blast was. She spotted the figure in the distance, slowly getting up, but obviously injured.
"How clever!" Raemis exclaimed as she stumbled up, spitting out some blood in her mouth. Her cloak was all but disintegrated, revealing her body underneath. She was topless bar some white bandages that warped around her sizable chest, her stomach was adorned with toned abs, her arms overflowing with muscles that could rival the strongest adventurers, a long thick tail matched the color of her horns.. She wore pants that resembled the tattered remains of a black karate gi. "How very cunning of you, Kazuma! That's why you're the coolest!"
Darkness and Kazuma gritted their teeth upon seeing the target get up, the only person they'd seen so far that was able to tank an explosion was Darkness. The prospect that her defense might rival hers sent a chill down both their spines.
"You'll pay for that punch that ruined my dolled up face in front of Kazuma!" Raemis roared as she charged at Darkness who rose up her arms to defend herself. "Again! Your stance!" she taunted as she kicked Darkness' left calf with her right leg, causing a gruesome snap the sound as the bone broke into two.
Darkness roared out in pain as she fell to the ground, clenching her leg in pain. Raemis laughed as she towered over the crusader, raising her foot to finish the job.
"After I get rid of you two, Kazuma will be all mine!" she exclaimed as she attempted to stomp her foot, only to be caught by Darkness. The crusader pulled with all her might, causing the demon to fall onto her. Darkness grabbed Raemis with all her might as she flailed about trying to escape.
"Kazuma now!" Darkness cried as she struggled grappling Raemis in her arms. Kazuma grasped Raemis' horn, who let out a surprised squeal.
"Drain touch!" Kazuma yelled as the Raemis' stamina began to drain. Raemis let out a loud erotic moan as Kazuma continued to use the move. Darkness was forced to awkwardly stare at Raemis' lewd face as Kazuma bashfully tried to drain as much energy as he could with a slight redness creeping up to his face.
Kazuma stopped using drain touch as he felt the energy he received begin to wane. He let go of Raemis' horn, Darkness following in suit by throwing her off of her, landing face first in grass.
Megumin stumped back on her feet as she began to analyze the situation. Two girls on the ground panting, and Kazuma standing over the both of them. One didn't have a shirt on and had just been moaning moments ago. Megumin began to piece together the clues in her head.
"Kazuma," she groaned out, still a bit tired from the mana fatigue, "If you like your girls with big boobs just admit it already,"
"I think you think something that didn't happen, happened," Kazuma said, checking on Darkness, who was still groaning in pain.
Raemis began to pick herself up, her eyes were teary and her face was adorned with crimson blush as she propped herself up.
"Y-you, you defile my h-horn, a-and you keep flirting with your p-party?!" The demon sniffed as she stood up with shaky legs. "THIS IS SO C-CONFUSING! I-I'LL BE BACK!" she cried as she ran at a lightning speed away from the party, burying her face in her right arm.
The party stared at Raemis as she disappeared into the distance.
