So you know how all of Adrian's drawings disappeared when he neutralized himself? That would include the stitches holding Ruby's stab wounds closed, so she would have known immediately something was wrong. Except she thinks Adrian can't be neutralized, so she would have had no choice but to think the worst when she starts bleeding. This is my attempt to capture those thoughts.

I've seen a lot of posts about how people think Magpie is Evie. I do not, but I do think there are enough similarities between the way Magpie and Nova grew up that they could create a pseudo-sisterly relationship. Anyway, this is my take on how I think that would happen. It starts with Magpie simply asking for help with training, but it quickly spirals into more than that.
