(March 17, 2024)-(KP-31 Suomi)-

I remember going to sleep the previous night in the dorm room with RFB and K2, my roommates... just a normal night. That morning, I woke up and found myself outside in the sand. The base we were in had disappeared, and I could see everyone who was in the base at the time on the ground. It took me a minute or two to comprehend what was going on, and during those two minutes, K2 woke up and immediately came over to where I was laying.

"KP, come on, get up. Don't be afraid, I'll keep you both safe." K2 said. I know she means well, but it was way too early for her 'taking charge and protecting everyone' attitude. I rolled over and got on my feet.

"I can look after myself." I mumbled as I dusted my coat off. I turned to RFB, who was still asleep. She had a bad habit of staying up super late and sleeping in until a ridiculous time. By the way, RFB and I are pretty close, so I call her 'Kel,' and she calls me 'Sue.' "Kel, get up."

"Mmmph… lee' me 'lone an' lemme sleep." Kel groaned. I leaned down and got closer to her ear.

"NOW!" I said sternly. Kel jumped awake and suddenly realized something was wrong.

"Is this… a dream?" TMP asked as she looked around cautiously.

"We need to find Shikikan Gentiane." UMP-45 said calmly. We wandered around the desert a little bit and found Gentiane sleeping where the Shikikan's room would normally be.

"Shikikan, wake up." MP5 said softly as she nudged Gentiane.

"See, that's the way you wake someone up." Kel whispered to me as she rubbed her eyes. I just gave her a scowl. She and I both knew she would sleep right through whispers and slight shakes. Gentiane woke up.

"Where are we?" Gentiane asked. "Is this a simulation?"

"I don't think so." Sopmod II said. "Something weird is going on here." Gentiane got up and stood there for a few moments, thinking about what happened and what our next move would be.

"I can think of only one thing to do; go and find someone who can tell us what's going on." Gentiane said. "Keep yourselves prepared for combat, some people here may be hostile."

"Alright, everyone spread out and keep your eyes open, we have to keep the Shikikan safe." M4A1 instructed. Without any other alternatives, we set off, heading to nowhere in particular.

(March 18, 2024)—-

We ended up wandering the sparse desert all day yesterday and all night without running into any problems… or people for that matter. We finally came up to a hospital sitting in the middle of nowhere. There were lots of people there, and most of them were armed.

"Identify yourselves this instant!" One of the armed men yelled. Gentiane walked over to the armed man with her hands up.

"We aren't looking for any trouble." Gentiane reassured the armed man. That was about when I noticed there were men armed with machine guns and snipers surrounding us, perched on the dune in the distance as well as the cliff.

"Put your weapons on the ground slowly and we can work something out." The armed man said as he put his weapon down slowly. I snuck a glance at the armed men surrounding us, and they were not putting their weapons down. I don't think Gentiane noticed. Our only choice at that moment was to comply. All the other T-dolls were still holding their weapons. I inched closer to Gentiane.

"We're being held at gunpoint." I whispered. "There's too many of them." Gentiane's face remained serious, not looking daunted whatsoever.

"Girls, lay your guns down." Gentiane commanded. "That's an order." All my friends did as they were told. Once all of our guns were on the ground and the armed man collected all of them, someone walked over to us… holding a crowbar.

"Greetings." The crowbar-holding man said. I think you know who I'm talking about. "You look like you've been in the wilderness for quite a while, haven't you?"

"We are very thirsty, mister." UMP-9 said. UMP-45 subtly put her hand up and shooker her head at UMP-9. Akechi crossed his arms and nodded his head.

"We will take care of you all right here, but before we begin, I do have a question," Akechi started. "Which of you is the… how shall we say… leader?"

"I am in charge of these girls, sir." Gentiane said respectfully.

"Well then, I need to speak with you." Akechi said with a hint of excitement in his voice. Gentiane walked over to him. "Take a load off your legs, why don't you? Kneel." Gentiane looked at us, and we all looked back at her. The tension in the air was immeasurable. "Kneel." Akechi repeated. Gentiane slowly knelt to the ground, and Akechi got close to her. "So you're really in charge of all these girls?"

"Yes I am. I am the commanding officer." Gentiane said.

"Well that's cool." Akechi said. "You see, my friends and I… we want what you have." Then… without another word… Akechi raised his crowbar… and hit Gentiane in the head with it! Then again… and again… and again. Most of us were too shocked to do anything, and those of us who weren't paralyzed by shock charged at the man with the crowbar… only to be gunned down by the men on the cliffs. One of those who got gunned down… was K2. Akechi grabbed Gentiane by the hair, she was barely alive. He got her face close to his. "I own all of your girls now." Akechi then impaled Gentiane through the forehead with his crowbar, which ended her suffering. I could barely keep standing when I watched it happen. My vision became blurry, and it took more willpower than I had to not vomit right there in the middle of the desert.

We were all then forced into the hospital to begin slave labor. The image of what just happened will stay with me forever. I've seen my fair share of death, most of the time fast but some of the times slow… but that wasn't just death… it was true cruelty.

(March 19, 2024)-

We did at best random and at worst demeaning tasks for all the guards in the hospital right after Gentiane's death the previous day, and after that we were all forced to sleep in the small room with no furniture of any kind. Sleeping on the floor wasn't that bad, being honest. I've slept in a foxhole before. Sleeping in the room was horrible because we were all piled on top of each other. I struggled to breathe, I couldn't get comfortable at all, and I couldn't sleep at all… but I can't blame all of that on uncomfortability. I lost a friend… and my Shikikan. A few of the T-dolls did manage to get some sleep, which honestly impresses me. Anyway, the next day, Kel and I were digging trenches outside of the hospital for absolutely no reason.

"Sue…" Kel started. "Why don't we just kill all these noobs with our bare hands?" I stopped digging to both answer her and to let my burning muscles cool off a bit.

"They have guns, Kel." I said. "They have our guns. If we try anything, we're all dead. We just have to wait for an opportunity."

"Get back to work." One of the guards said as he walked by us. Kel's short fuse got lit.

"What good is this doing, huh?" Kel yelled as she threw her shovel on the ground. "If you're going to give us tasks, why not make them meaningful, huh?" The guard stood there, eyeing Kel. He then held both of us at gunpoint as he radioed the other guards in the hospital.

"Bring every slave out here, we seem to have to go over the rules of this hospital once more." The guard said into his radio. Within a few minutes, all the guards brought the other T-dolls outside at gunpoint, and they gathered around me and Kel. Akechi himself came outside as well.

"Please show our slaves that we won't accept any backtalk, Lieutenant Akechi." The guard said respectfully to Akechi. Akechi took his crowbar out and flaunted it in front of Kel's face. I was so worried I would lose my best friend the same way I lost my Shikikan. Akechi pointed it at Kel's head.

"I think these girls have seen enough bloodshed for now…" Akechi teased. "I hear you don't like the work we are giving you here, is that right?"

"That's right, you open flour canister!" Kel yelled at Akechi.

"Kel don't!" I yelled. A guard then came behind me and twisted my arms behind my back and forced me face down into the sand. Akechi looked at Kel and smirked.

"Now listen to this, everyone." Akechi announced to the rest of the T-dolls helplessly watching all of this happen. "I believe we are being reasonable here… we have chores for you all to do, and we were gracious enough to let most of you live. If you don't want to do the chores here, that's fine." Akechi then motioned a truck over to where we were. "We have more work to be done across the region. Work that can be much more back breaking and spirit crushing." The guard then dragged Kel onto the truck and shackled her to the truck. Akechi strutted to the truck. "You don't like the work here? Well then let's find work you might enjoy a little bit more." The truck drove away, and that was the last time I saw Kel. But Akechi wasn't done. "Am I not getting across yet? Well, it seems more punishment may be necessary. We'll make sure this kind of thing never happens again." Akechi motioned another truck over, and the guard who was restraining me forced me onto my feet and walked me over to the truck. I was shackled to the truck, and as the truck started moving, I heard Akechi say; "You caused her to die, not me." I wasn't sure what was going to happen to me or Kel, but one thing was for sure… At the time, that was the most scared I had ever been in my life. It took me a long time to calm myself down, but once I did, I realized I had to take my own advice; I had to wait for an opportunity and then jump on it. That was my only option. I kept telling myself an opportunity would show up, but as I watched my friends disappear in the distance, it became harder to believe myself.

—-

After a long and uncomfortable ride, the truck stopped suddenly, which threw me off my feet. A guard came in, took the chains off and threw me out of the truck. Then another guard started dragging me by my feet, all the while I was face down in the sand. They brought me to a giant area that was enclosed by a giant brick wall that was too tall to climb over, as well as having barbed wire lining the top. I wouldn't be able to escape that way.

"This is your new home, and your new life." One of the guards said. "Pick up that sledgehammer and get to work." I didn't know what sledge hammer he was talking about, then suddenly a guard standing behind me threw a sledgehammer at my lower back which made me fall over. As the guards were laughing and high fiving each other, I picked up the sledgehammer and started breaking rocks, just like everyone else in the yard was doing. Everyone was standing so close to each other, which made me feel a little extra mentally run down. I ended up working next to a woman with short blonde hair, a hair style somewhat reminiscent of those from the 1930s.

"Keep your head down and stay on the guards' good sides." The woman to my left side whispered to me. She didn't look directly at me, which showed me we weren't supposed to be talking to each other.

"Where are we?" I asked the woman.

"If you're talking about this camp… it's a females-only labor camp." The woman informed me. "If you're talking about this world… I'm not sure."

"My friends and I suddenly found ourselves here… I'm still completely unsure about what happened." I whispered.

"It seems we ended up in some sort of reality switch." The girl on the other side of me chimed in. She had pale skin, chin-length light brown hair, freckles and very large glasses, and she was wearing an orange turtleneck sweater. "It's as if all realities collided, that's the only conclusion I was able to come to." Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a guard walking towards us.

"A guard is coming." I whispered. The three of us continued breaking cinder blocks with sledgehammers without saying a word while the guard was nearby. The guard then started… checking me out. I was very weirded out… it didn't seem like he was just standing there simply to watch me work. Eventually he walked away. The woman to my left snuck a look behind to make sure there were no guards nearby.

"Try and hit this spot in the wall whenever you can." The woman whispered, pointing at a spot in the wall that was badly dented. "I've been chipping away at it since I got here yesterday. It will take a while, but this could be a way out soon if the three of us work on it."

"Won't the guards notice?" I whispered.

"That's a chance I'm willing to take." The woman whispered. "I'll mentally break if I never see a way out." For the rest of the work day, I would occasionally hit the weaker spot in the wall but make it look like an accident. The girl on my right side did the same. It wasn't much, but it would hopefully give way eventually.

—-

Maybe six hours after the sun set, a guard got on a megaphone.

"Time for bed." The guard bellowed. "Go to the bunks and stay quiet for the night. There's more bricks that need to be broken tomorrow." Everyone in the yard walked inside the building and to a room that was lined with bunk beds that had four bunks each. They were all crudely built with no mattress or linens and the beds themselves were made of wood, which was about what I expected.

"The bunk below me is free." The woman from earlier told me. "You can sleep there. By the way, my name's Betty. The girl with the orange sweater is Velma."

"I… My name's KP-31 Suomi." I said awkwardly. I hate having a gun name, as proud as I am of said gun and its history of kicking Russian ass.

"You're named after a Finnish firearm?" Velma asked me but not in a rude way. I simply nodded.

"You can call me 'Suomi,' if you'd rather." I said.

"We have fresh meat here?" A girl on the top bunk of the stack I was sharing with Betty and Velma said as she peered down. This girl had very long orange hair, and was wearing a purple shirt with some sort of plaid drawstring necklace. Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention she had wolf ears and I wasn't sure if they were fake.

"Be nice to her, Holo." Betty scolded Holo quietly. "It's her first day here, and you of all people should know how difficult that can be.

"Relax, I was just playing around." Holo said as she climbed down. "Anyway, even though 'Brooklyn' stole my chance to introduce myself, I'll still do it… I'm Holo." Holo ran her fingers through her hair as she introduced herself.

"I'm Suomi." I once again introduced myself. "How long have you three been here?"

"Two days." Holo answered.

"Betty and I were brought here yesterday." Velva started. "We befriended Holo here because all she was doing was crying about how alone she was." Holo's cheeks turned bright red.

"I… was NOT!" Holo yelled. Suddenly the door opened and a guard walked right up to Holo. He then hit Holo in the forehead with his 1911, which knocked her out. The guard walked nonchalantly out of the room and slammed the door.

"What in tarnation just happened?" A squirrel in a purple bikini asked.

"I was not intending for that to happen…" Velma admitted. "I am sorry, Holo." Holo couldn't respond because she was out cold. Even though my arms were super sore from all the work, I picked up Holo, climbed to the top bunk and laid her there for the night. I then climbed down to the second bunk, which was where I would be sleeping. I laid there wondering how the rest of the T-dolls were doing at the hospital, hoping they were all faring better than I was. I thought about K2… I wish she was still with us. Most of all, I thought about Kel. My best friend.

(March 21, 2024)-

Betty, Velma, Holo and I had become pretty good friends over the last day and a half. We talked whenever we had the chance, which wasn't very often. Staying in the labor camp was very difficult, but those three were able to keep me from breaking, which is something I didn't think the guards liked. They tried to discourage talking as much as possible. They wanted so badly to mentally break everyone. Betty, Velma and I spent all of the previous day chipping away at the brick wall. Holo was at the other end of the yard so she couldn't really help. By the end of the workday, the three of us made a huge dent in the wall, but all it would take to get it open was a few good hits from the sledgehammers. I formulated a plan to break out of the bunks by making myself a rock shiv out of a broken part of brick. I was easily able to conceal it in my coat. That night after the guards locked everyone in the bunks for the night, I waited a few hours, then I started working on the door as quietly as I could.

"What are ya doing?" The squirrel asked me.

"She's breaking all of us out." Holo whispered. She, Betty and Velma all came next to me as I was working on the door. "We'll keep our ears open for guards, you keep working on that door." After a long time, the door budged! I got the door open and everyone left using the cover of darkness. We snuck out to the yard and Betty and the squirrel grabbed sledgehammers and broke the weakened wall. The guards were pretty quick to respond though. They spotlighted the entire yard!

"All prisoners, return to your bunks right now, or be shot!" The guard yelled into a megaphone. Even though the hole we made was small and wouldn't be able to fit everyone, most of the prisoners acted as human shields for anyone else who could leave. The guards started firing on the prisoners! Prisoners were dying left and right! All I could see was blood and gore being lit up by muzzle flashes! Prisoners fell on top of me and I was buried under a bunch of bodies, but the only way I would survive was to stay perfectly still and crawl out of the hole once everything quieted down. As I was laying under those bodies, blood was running from the prisoners' bodies and onto me. The blood of the innocent. Everything quieted down after a minute, so I slightly moved some of the bodies to see if there were still any guards on their perches. It was clear, so I crawled out the hole. I was in shock, so I staggered over to a rock I could see in the distance. When I got there, I was tackled by Betty. Betty held a rock up, ready to beat me to death with it, until she realized it was me.

"Suomi?!" Betty said in shock. "Fan my brow… Are you ok?"

"Uh… Yeah… I think I am…" I said feeling very shaken.

"So all this blood isn't yours, I assume?" Velma asked me. I looked at my arms, and they were soaked in blood. My white gloves were stained with blood, all of which was still warm. I don't normally pass out from seeing blood, but this was too much. I started hyperventilating and my head was getting hot, and my vision was disappearing. I hadn't seen that much blood since… Gentiane's death. I was overwhelmed with grief and the burden of the dead.

"We can't stay here, y'all!" The squirrel said. "We gotta skee-daddle!" Betty and Holo helped me up and we all walked until we got to a small hilltop town. We headed over to one of the houses, stepping over bodies strewn about. They looked like they were guards, and they had been dead for a few days. Betty and Holo set me down against the wall once we were inside.

"Suomi, are you ok?" Holo asked me. I was still too shaken up to give her a straight answer.

"K2… Gentiane… all the prisoners." I whispered. "Too much death… too much blood." Tears welled up in my dry eyes, wetting them. The tears dripped down my face and washed a little bit of the dried blood off my face. Betty knelt down and put her hands on my shoulders.

"Suomi, you need to stay strong." Betty said softly. "I know nothing has been easy, we've all been in the same boat." I started slightly breaking down. I covered my face as I softly sobbed.

"I'm sorry…" I said in slight humiliation. "I've lost more in these last three days than I have in the last… I don't even know…" That was about when Velma came into the house, holding four AKs-74u's.

"I found machine guns strewn about outside." Velma announced. "A group of people must have risen up and taken out several guards… we can do the same."

"Maybe we'll meet another group, and then we can make the guards run to timbuktu together." Sandy said as Velma handed her an AKS.

"If we can keep level heads, we will live long enough to meet others who can help us fight." Holo said determinedly. "We just need to stick together and keep a close eye on each other. We'll make it through this."

"We can take back everything that's been taken from us." Betty said as she took two AKS's from Velma. Betty held one out to me. "We can do this, Suomi." That speech made me calm down quite a bit. I knew it would be hard, but I also knew that everything would end up being ok. I can't believe I'm writing this, but I accepted the Russian firearm. It was that or nothing.

"We can do this, comrades." I said with a burning desire to bring our enemies to their knees.

"I'll keep watch for the night." Holo volunteered. "You four get some sleep." Holo walked outside quickly, trying to avoid any arguments. Velma, Sandy, Betty and I all found our own individual spots in the small house to sleep. I slept on a pile of clothes in a really tiny dining room that night. It wasn't much, but at least I had lots of space to unwind from the last four days. As I was going to sleep, I could hear Holo quietly howling at the moon. I guess she really is a wolf.

(March 22, 2024)-

We all left the small town that afternoon, after getting the rest we needed to keep plugging along. We were staying away from wide open areas, as well as constantly scanning the horizon for anything moving. Every once in a while, a truck would pass by on a nearby road.

"So… where exactly are we going?" Holo asked.

"There's a hospital my friends are holed up in." I said. "They came and took over, but if we can take the hospital back, all my friends will be able to fight again."

"You have lots of friends?" Velma asked.

"So many." I said. "Well… some are more like acquaintances, if you will… but we all watch each other's six most of the time." I didn't say the following part out loud, but I had no idea where the hospital was. I've never been good with directions. We kept wandering around, avoiding patrols as much as we could. By evening, we could see something very troubling in the distance; sand clouds in the distance.

"Hold up, that's a sandstorm, y'all." Sandy said as she stopped with her arm extended.

"We need to find a spot to hunker down before that storm reaches us." Betty said. We stood there looking around for a building, a cave, anything. Nothing could be seen.

"We can't run back to the town, we're a day's walking distance away from it." Holo said.

"We need to walk away from the storm, I figure that will buy us some time." I suggested.

"It's our only choice." Velma admitted. We jogged away from the storm, but the five of us had so little energy from little sleep and nourishment, we couldn't do more than jog for a while before having to walk again. The storm rapidly caught up. The wind began blowing violently and all I could see was sand. I could barely see ten feet in front of me, and not helping was the fact I had to squint super hard. If I opened my eyes anymore, they would have been filled with sand. We kept pressing on in desperate hope of finding a spot to wait out the storm.

"Look!" Sandy yelled. "A building!"

"Wait, it might belong to an enemy!" Holo warned.

"We can fight one building full of unsuspecting enemies!" Betty said. "We'll need to watch each others' backs." We charged towards the building with lit up windows and hugged the wall. I broke a window with the butt of my AKS and cleared the building, but I suddenly heard an alarm start blaring! It turned out… we were in the middle of an outpost! Bullets started flying everywhere!

"We need to leave, NOW!" I yelled desperately. The five of us ran, even though we could barely see where we were headed. Everyone was following me, even though that wasn't a good idea, since I didn't know where to run! I ended up running into a wall trying to escape. Sandy and Betty helped me up while Holo and Velma stood there emptying magazines randomly into the sandstorm. Suddenly, spotlights lit everything up so bright it was blinding. They all focused on the five of us.

"It's time to drop your weapons and end your hostilities, bookworms!" A voice bellowed from a loudspeaker. We had no choice. I dropped my AKS, and my teammates did the same. Guards came close enough that we could see them. They had their guns raised.

"On your knees." One of the guards ordered. Other guards collected our weapons and took them away. Deja vu. I M Meen then walked over to us.

"What brings you here today?" Meen asked.

"We were trying to escape the sandstorm, obviously." Holo said in a demeaning voice. She was hit in the stomach all of the sudden, but I never saw a guard actually hit her. I M Meen had used his magical powers to hit Holo.

"You are beginning to annoy me." Meen stated matter-of-factly. "I would instruct my guardians to drag you all to some of our cells so you can wait out the tiring storm, but all of them are full at the moment."

"I… wouldn't mind having a roommate." Velma said, trying to talk Meen out of what we all knew was coming next.

"Well well, you seem like the smartest of the bunch." Meen said as he walked over to Velma. He reached for a gun holstered on his hip slowly and moved it to Velma's forehead.

"NO!" I yelled. Meen looked at me, smirked, then squeezed the trigger. Velma fell to the sand, dead. I was getting ready to lunge at Meen. I knew I would be killed, but that was true either way. Maybe Betty, Holo and Sandy could escape while the man was trying to get me off of him. I knew there were guards around too, but that was the only way I could imagine at least one of us making it out of that outpost alive. I charged at him, but he held his hand up, and all of the sudden I couldn't move! He forced my head to turn towards Sandy… and he made me watch her get shot. He turned my head towards Holo… and I saw her get shot as well. One of the guards dragged Betty in front of me and got her on her knees.

"Please… find a way to survive if you can." Betty said to me quietly. Suddenly, a giant splash of blood came out of her forehead. Betty's lifeless body fell to the sand. I lost K2. I lost Gentiane. I lost Kel. I lost Betty, Holo, Velma and Sandy. I lost all the will to fight back. Meen released his hold on me, and I fell to my knees. I was ready to be taken out of this world all together. One of the guards came up to me and held a knife up to my throat. I was more than ready to leave this cruel world.

"She dies on your command, Mr. Meen." The guard said, excitedly holding the knife up to me. Meen looked at me closely.

"No…" Meen said with a sinister smile on his face. "This bookworm is broken… That is how Goddess Chris- Chan likes them." The guard took the knife off my throat and I was dragged into one of the houses, away from the storm. While I was in that house… all I wanted was to die. I wasn't good for anything. I failed everyone around me. I was completely devoid of hope. After a few hours of being locked in a room, I was dragged out and thrown into the back of a truck, just like the one I was brought to the brickyard in. The truck brought me to a really nice house nearby, and I was dragged inside and handcuffed to a chair and was forced to sit at a table with him… Chris Chan. Akechi was standing next to him. There was a McDonalds spread on the table. I hadn't eaten a proper meal since the day before all of this happened, but I wasn't hungry at the moment.

"Goddess Sonichu, I present to you, the female my lackey has acquired." Akechi said, showing me off. I felt so broken, I kept my head hanging down. I didn't have the mental fortitude to keep my head up. Why should I have? All the other T-dolls were stuck at the hospital being a bunch of servants to these guards, I lost my best friend, and all my friends from the labor camp were killed right in front of me.

"Well Mr. Goro, I cannot see her face." Chris Chan said in that wimpy voice. Akechi walked over to me and forced me to look at Chris Chan. There was nothing but bad intentions in Chris's eyes. He walked over to me and rubbed my shoulders slowly. At least that's where he started. His hands started moving downwards, and as he was doing that, he brought his face close to mine and showed me his eyes up close. The smell of B.O. was intense. "She will be perfect, Mr. Goro. You have truly and honestly out done yourself this time."

"Thank you so much, Goddess Sonichu." Akechi fanboyed. "I will have her transported to a prison which has a love-chateau first thing tomorrow." I knew what would happen. I was scared as all get out, but how could I fight back? I had nothing to fight for.

(March 23, 2024)-

I was put in chains and thrown into the back of yet another truck. I was about to be violated by Chris Chan. I felt so nervous, I was almost completely incapable of moving. The chains were unnecessary, to be honest. When we got to the prison that was in the middle of nowhere, the truck's rear door was opened, and a guard came up to me and held my KP-31 in front of my face.

"You can have this back once you vow to fight for his majesty." The guard said. Another guard came in and grabbed me and I was walked out of the truck. The guards took me inside, but on the way we stopped next to an armory, where my KP was locked away. The guard who put my gun in the safe locked the door, then he headed towards an office in the building. I was brought to this giant vault door at the end of a hallway of cells by the other guard. One of the cells had a little pink squid girl in it.

"Hey yo, you creeps keep your hands offa that girl, ya hearin' me?" The squid girl yelled at the guards as we were walking by. She was completely ignored. I was brought into the room, and I was forced onto my knees, where my legs were shackled to the floor. The guards then put some sort of ball in my mouth and I was blindfolded. What little light was in the room disappeared when the vault door was shut. I was so nervous, I began hyperventilating, but I couldn't breathe through my mouth because of the ball. I was breathing in and out through my nose so rapidly. Maybe this is the fate I deserve… but I don't want it. After being chained in the dark for a few more moments, the vault door opened. I thought it was Chris Chan, which made me more scared than I ever thought I would be. This was it… I was about to become some fat man-child's toy. I didn't want to imagine what he was about to do to me. I heard a young man's voice murmur something, then I heard footsteps approaching me. I tensed up. I felt fingers pinch the blindfold, then the blindfold got lifted. That was when I saw you for the first time, Klonoa.

"It's alright." You started. "We're here to get you out." The first time I saw you, I saw nothing but goodness and determination in your eyes. I knew right away… the look in your eyes… you were new to everything. Maybe you had never killed a man before you came to this world. All I know is, in that moment, all the hope I had lost instantly came back, as did my will to live! You undid the chains that kept me on my knees, and I was so filled with relief and joy, it was dizzying. I couldn't help but get up and hug you tight. You were one of the very few good things in this dark world. I vowed to protect you from that moment on. I would fight harder than I ever had in my life to achieve that goal. You not only saved my life, but you gave me a reason to keep fighting. You, Narukami and I would go on to fight many noble and worthwhile fights together, and achieve such astounding victories against Chris Chan and his cronies, it even amazes me. I mentioned many times that at many moments during this story, 'I was the most scared I had ever been in my life,' but even to this day, the most scared I have ever been was when you were impaled during the ambush at the bridge… and you were laying on that beach and slowly dying. The thought of losing you is too much to bear, and I will do absolutely everything in my power to make sure you are able to continue on.

Klonoa, you saved my life, my innocence, my happiness and my purpose. Fighting by your side is the greatest honor I've ever had, and I look forward to every single day when I'm able to walk through hell with you and make sure you make it through. Even the days we're not fighting, just hanging out with you and getting to know both you and Narukami are moments I would never trade for anything. Klonoa… Thank you. So much. For everything.
