Ladybug had lost.

Without her realizing, she had given the Dog Miraculous to Felix instead of Adrien. He betrayed her and gave ShadowMoth an advantage by taking all of the Miraculous right out from under her. Now their enemy was known as Monarch.

How could she make such a foolish mistake? All of the heroes she had gained over the passed few months were gone, never to be seen again.

Except for herself and Cat Noir.

After everything they've been through, after everything she had put him through, he still stood by her side. It was them against the world once again.

Because of him, they were able to gain the upper hand and grab the Rabbit Miraculous from him. It may have only been one, but it was the one Miraculous that she was happy to keep him out of reach. Alix had gladly taken it, finally becoming the hero known as Bunnix.

She was to keep it protected until this all blows over. Ladybug trusted her fully, especially after having interactions with her future self.

They had almost gotten the kwamis back at one point, but were only able to damage Monarch using Cat Noir's Cataclysm. He didn't mean to, but they were sure it will at least stall everything for a bit.

After a long day of hero work, Marinette and Adrien collapsed into their beds. They were absolutely exhausted and hoped they could get all of them back sooner rather than later.

Marinette stared at the pictures of Adrien by her bedside. She couldn't help but tear up at the sight of his gorgeous face. Not even he could help her through this. She turned her back away from him and tried to get some sleep.

"If only there were other heroes who could help me get them back," Marinette chuckled to herself, "Yeah, like the ones from comic books. They'd be super strong and fast. Shoot fire or ice, maybe even make things explode!"

Then silence hit her and realized what she was doing. As soon as the light had come back into her eyes, it slowly faded once again.

"Who am I kidding? There's no one around here that can do any of those things."

As she fell into a deep, solemn sleep, Tikki worried about her immensely. She tried to get comfortable on Marinette's pillow, but felt herself wanting some fresh air. The cool, night air always felt so nice. Patting Marinette's head, she flew through the door to the rooftop.

"Hey Sugarcube," A familiar voice said to her from the sun chair. Plagg was laying down on it with a slice of camembert by his side. "You couldn't sleep either, huh?"

Tikki sadly shook her head. She could barely look him in the eyes.

"I've seen my holder go through some pretty tough things, but this... this is just a lot to handle by herself. I know she has Alya, but she isn't even Rena Rouge anymore."

Plagg shockingly left the cheese sitting on the sun chair and floated over to his long time partner. He hated seeing her so distraught. He wasn't much of a hugger, but gave her one anyway.

"I just wish..." Plagg mumbled out without realizing it.

"I just wish..." Tikki mumbled out, focusing on what Marinette had been talking about.

"There were other heroes to help out..." Tikki and Plagg finished in sync. They separated from each other, and Tikki burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" Plagg asked, "Do you finally find me charming?"

"No, but my holder mentioned that before falling asleep. She has quite the imagination. She even brought up someone being able to make things explode."

"That's quite something, but not as strong as my Cataclysm," He said as he finally ate his camembert.

Tikki let a giggle slip out, but she didn't care. It felt good to laugh right now. Sometimes she really enjoyed having his company when their holders were asleep. A yawn had interrupted her train of thoughts though.

"You should get some sleep. We have a long week ahead of us."

"Yeah, you're right. Good night, Plagg."

"Good night, Sugarcube."

They both went back to their owners and fell asleep right by their sides.

Little did they know in that moment, they had both reached out to something beyond their world.

A world full of quirks.

This is the beginning of another story. But this time, a crossover with Miraculous and My Hero Academia! This takes place after Monarch gets Cataclysmed. For My Hero Academia, it takes place right after the School Festival.
