Meanwhile back at Stolas's mansion, Blitzo and Millie were cheering while Moxxie was exhaustedly smiling.
"We did it, gang!" Blitzo said proudly. "We healed that old guy and saved his life!"
"Yeah, we did…" Moxxie said as he lost consciousness.
Moxxie fainted where he stood having no more energy to stand.
"Moxxie?!" cried Millie, running over to his side.
Moxxie was sleeping peacefully on the floor.
Millie sighed in relief before picking her husband up with ease and carrying him to the bed. After placing him down on the plush surface, Millie tucked him in under the warm and soft blankets. As Moxxie relaxed more, Millie smiled and kissed his forehead lovingly.
Millie then laid down next to him and asked, "Blitzo, could I have the rest of the day off?"
"Sure thing, M! We don't have anything else on our schedule today," agreed Blitzo.
"Thank you," Millie said.
Millie laid down on top of the sheets next to Moxxie and stroked his back. Moxxie relaxed immensely in his sleep.
Up in heaven, the cherubs were watching in concern.
"We need to help Moxxie," said Collin. "He's using too much of his energy!"
"I agree," Anna said. "He'll strain himself if he keeps going at this pace."
"We can't spend too long in hell, but we can give him some advice," said Eustace.
The three nodded and started writing tips and advice in a blank notebook for Moxxie when he woke up.
"We can fill this whole notebook up with all our advice and tips," Collin said excitedly. "That'll help Moxxie for sure!"
"Okay!" Anna cheered. "You guys get started. I'm going to find the older books to be sure we're not missing anything."
"Is there anything else I can do?" asked Eustace.
"Yes, talk to the reformed imps and ask them if there is anything they think we should add," Anna said.
"Right!" Eustace said with a salute as he flew away to look for the other reformed imps.
Meanwhile, Millie laid on top of the bed next to her husband.
She placed her hand on his back and sang, "Of all the imps in hell, it's for him that I fell. Oh, Moxxie..."
Moxxie hummed "Oh, Millie" in his sleep.
Loona smiled as she saw a text from Octavia and said, "I gotta go, guys. Let me know if Moxxie needs anything."
"Will do, Loonie," Blitzo said, not budging from his spot as he pulled out his phone and prepared to record. "Have fun with your new friend."
As soon as Loona left, Blitzo recorded Millie pulling Moxxie's coat off to help him get more comfortable in his bed.
"You two are adorable," Blitzo said.
"Blitzo, are you filming?" Millie asked playfully.
"Of course, Mills," Blitzo said. "You know how much I like watching you two."
Millie smiled and chuckled as she pulled a t-shirt and gym shorts out of her suitcase and headed to the bathroom.
"I hope you don't mind, but I'm gonna change my clothes and take a nap with Moxxie," said Millie.
"Do you mind if I join you?" asked Blitzo.
"Oh, I don't mind," Millie said, shutting herself in the bathroom to change.
With a big smile, Blitzo threw off his coat and crawled into bed next to Moxxie. As soon as he took a selfie, he cuddled up close to him.
A few minutes later, Millie came out of the bathroom and crawled under the covers with them.
"This is so nice, isn't it?" said Blitzo.
Millie nodded and snuggled closer to Moxxie. Moxxie mumbled incoherently in his sleep and curled around Millie.
Thus, the trio fell asleep.
Three hours later, while the trio slept in the bed, a portal from heaven opened into the room.
Collin fluttered into the room with a big book for Moxxie. The book was an old print, but it showed no signs of wear or even dust accumulation. It was a purple book that glowed with heavenly magic.
Collin then flew over Moxxie, ruffled his hair, and said, "May you learn well and quickly, my friend."
"God bless you," Moxxie muttered in his sleep before he snored and chewed his pillow.
Collin giggled lightly and flew back into the portal into heaven.
