About an hour later, Stolas entered the room to check on the imps of IMP.
Stolas immediately noticed the large book on Moxxie's nightstand and picked it up to examine it. It only took him a few seconds to understand what it was.
Stolas picked up the book and walked around to the other side of the bed to hide the book under a pillow.
Then Stolas returned to where he was standing and pulled out his phone to start taking cute pictures.
The three sleeping imps remained blissfully unaware as Stolas snapped away.
"You three are so adorable," Stolas whispered to himself.
Suddenly, Blitzo stirred himself awake.
Stolas quickly crept out of the room, leaving her door open just ajar.
Blitzo sat up, rubbed his eyes, and said, "Stolas, I saw you."
"No, you didn't," Stolas replied from behind the door.
"No one else here is over eight feet tall," Blitzo retorted.
Stolas walked back into the room, scooped Blitzo up, held him in his arms, and said, "Oh, Blitzo, you're adorable when you're sleepy."
"Are you always horny?" Blitzo grumbled and pouted as he crossed his arms.
"Who said I was horny?" Stolas said as he rubbed Blitzo's neck. "I merely like being near you."
Blitzo blushed and trembled in pleasure at Stolas's touch.
"You goddamn liar," Blitzo said playfully. "You are horny."
"Always," Stolas replied, leaning in and giving him a kiss.
Suddenly, Moxxie sat up in the bed and asked, "Blitzo, how long have I been out? What happened?"
"Put me down, birdbrain," Blitzo said. "I need to take care of Moxxie."
"Do you have to?" whined Stolas.
"Yes," Blitzo demanded. "Put me down."
Stolas sighed and released Blitzo.
"I shall express my love at another time," Stolas said, giving Blitzo's head a final stroke.
Blitzo crawled over to Moxxie and said, "Hey, Moxxie! Did you have a good nap?"
"Yeah," Moxxie said, rubbing his head. "What happened? I just remember feeling so tired."
"You fainted from exhaustion," Blitzo said.
"You must have used far too much energy," Stolas added.
"Can't keep doing that, Moxxie," said Blitzo.
"Well, how am I supposed to know when I'm using too much?" asked Moxxie.
"I think your cherub friends have sent you a solution," said Stolas.
"Wait, really?" Moxxie asked. "How?"
"Check under the pillow on the other side of the bed," replied Stolas.
Moxxie carefully reached under the pillow to not awaken Millie and pulled out a large book titled Magic for Reformed Cherubs.
"I believe all the information you need is in there," said Stolas.
Moxxie opened the cover and found a note from his cherub friends.
"'This book is a compilation of all the advice from our reformed imp cherubs," read Moxxie with a growing smile. "'We hope it will help you, your wife, and your friend! From your friends, Collin, Anna, and Eustace! XOXO' Thank you, Cherubs."
Moxxie turned to the first chapter to start reading.
"What do you got there, babe?" Millie asked suddenly.
Moxxie looked over to see his wife sitting up and rubbing her eyes.
"It's a book of advice from the cherubs," Moxxie explained excitedly. "Our cherub friends dropped it off while we were asleep."
"Ooooh," Moxxie gushed. "Let's see what it says."
"I know what we're doing tonight," said Blitzo as he crawled over to them.
Moxxie looked at his boss's face suspiciously and said, "Read this book and nothing else?"
"Yep," Blitzo said.
"Oh, how delightful," said Stolas, heading out the door. "I'll go get some snacks to aid our study."
"You're such a simp!" Blitzo called after him.
"I love you, too!" replied Stolas.
