Case 12: The Burning Red Rider Part 1

Today is a slow day in the Narumi Detective Agency, so Mitsuki, Phillip, Kanade, and Chris decided to play a game of billiards in the buildings.

They wanted to invite Tsubasa for a game as well, but she told them that she needed to keep an eye on Hibiki, and even she did accept it would draw attention to Hibiki on why Mitsuki's trying to avoid her.

"Man...I still can't believe this place has a private room like this." Kanade said as she looked around the room. It was very large as it had two tables of billiards and even a few darts machines.

"Yeah. Apparently before Boss bought the place, it was originally a sports lounge." Mitsuki said as he was preparing his cue stick by rubbing the chalk on the tip before he blew on it. "He had the option of throwing away all this stuff, but he chose to keep them. And billiards is my favorite game, it's truly an adult game for hard-boiled men like me."

Mitsuki spun the cue stick in his hand before it slipped out and fell on one of the billiards tables. He then notices his friends giving him certain looks before he coughs in his hand.

"I meant to do that." Mitsuki told him.

"So he says. But that wasn't the first time it happened." Philip whispers to Chris.

"You don't say?" Chris said as she wasn't surprised by that.

Unknown to them is that a man riding on a motorcycle had arrived as he stopped in front of the Agency.

After setting up the balls, Mitsuki volunteered for the first move as he aimed his cue stick on the white ball.

"Watch as I masterfully make my move." Mitsuki told his friends.

"Sure whatever you say." Philip said.

The man stood off his bike and took off his helmet.

Mitsuki was about to hit the white ball but his cue stick accidentally flew out of his hands as it headed to the door, and that is when the man wearing red clothes catches it the moment he entered the building as they soon turned to him.

Mitsuki laughs to see that as he keeps his cool demeanor.

"An unthinkable mistake for a master like me." Mitsuki said as he walked to the man wearing red clothes, and it was Terui Ryu as he walked to the billiards table.

"The detective office is on the second floor?" Ryu said as he stopped on Mitsuki's former spot on the table.

"Yeah, that's right." Mitsuki said.

"Are you here to make a request?" Kanade asked.

"In fact, I am." Ryu said as he aimed the cue stick at the white ball as he hit it which sent the ball to the others as they bounced into each other and on the walls of the table.

Then to everyone's shock all the numbered balls went into the holes one at a time with no signs of stopping or slowing down.

"Holy…" Chris mutters.

Kanade whistles as she was impressed by that.

"Dang...Now that is master level skill." Kanade said.

"How Hard-boiled…" Mitsuki mutters in awe as the last white ball hits on the last numbered ball as it goes into the hole.

After putting their billiards game on hold, Mitsuki, Philip, Kanade, and Chris had brought Ryu to the office as the young man in red clothes told them who he was as he showed his police badge.

"A superintendent? You are?" Mitsuki asked as he got a closer look at his face and Ryu didn't appear any older than he was.

"That's a little hard to believe considering you can't be much older than us." Kanade said.

"I get that a lot. My name is Terui Ryu." Ryu told them before he put away his badge.

Ryu then brought out a few pictures from his jacket and showed them to Mitsuki, Philip, and the others.

Philip, Kanade, and Chris pick up a different picture.

"I want to find the culprit behind a recent streak of freezing incidents." Ryu told them. Each photo showed a dead frozen body as it was covered in frost, same with the area they were lying on as it was covered in ice.

"This is clearly a Dopant's doing." Philip said.

"That's your speciality, right?" Mitsuki said as he looked at one of the photos, but despite that Mitsuki just huffed as he turned away from Ryu. "Sorry! A detective living in the hard world...won't bend that easily to authority."

Ryu then placed an envelope of money on the table and Kanade picks it up and opens it as Mitsuki turns back to Ryu as he placed the photo back on the table.

"Get lost!" Mitsuki told the police officer.

Kanade brought out the money and it was about over 90,000 yen, and her eyes widened to see that much money.

"Just get lost!" Mitsuki told him once again and Kanade whacked him with her slipper and pulled on his nose and then his ear painfully.

"We'll be happy to accept this job for you. Please come any time!" Kanade sweetly told Ryu.

"Why, you! Blinded by the advanced payment?!" Mitsuki said as Kanade innocently whistled.

"So it's decided, Chief." Ryu said as he walked to the door.

"Chief?!" Mitsuki asked in shock.

"Hai!" Kanade said.

"I'm going with Hidari." Ryu told them.

"Ah! Please go ahead! Hurry, Mitsuki!" Kanade said as she began to push Mitsuki to make him follow Ryu.

"Hey! Wait a minute!" Mitsuki said.

Both Mitsuki and Ryu were now outside of the building as they were standing next to their respective bikes, just as Mitsuki was about to sit on his, Ryu was already on his own bike as he drove on the street first while leaving Mitsuki behind.

"Hey! Wait a minute!" Mitsuki called out as quickly took off his hat and sat on his bike and put on his helmet as he quickly followed Ryu.

Inside the building, Kanade was counting the money Ryu had given them for payment.

"He's cool and capable. I guess he's the exact opposite of Mitsuki." Kanade said.

"You could say that again. Who knows, he might learn something from him." Chris said before she looked at the pictures of the frozen victims. "Still though, I wonder what kind of Dopant we're dealing with this time. Have any ideas Philip?"

But Philip wasn't listening as his mind was somewhere else.

"Hello! Philip!" Chris shouted at his ear which snapped Philip out of his train of thought as he turned to her.

"Oh what? Sorry, I wasn't listening. I'm actually more interested in Terui Ryu, the superintendent for the Fuuto Police." Philip told them.

"Why though?" Chris asked before she realized something as her cheeks turned red and felt a tight feeling in her chest. "Wait...do you swing that way?!"

"What? No, it's nothing like that." Philip told her and Chris sighed in relief and was strangely happy as well. "There's just something intriguing about him. But I can't figure out why. Not knowing is what intrigues me."

Both Mitsuki and Ryu were now riding on the street together as Mitsuki was following behind the police detective.

'Terui Ryu...What a despicable guy.' Mitsuki thought as he took a chance to move ahead in front of Ryu as Mitsuki smiled as Ryu was now following behind him. 'The thing that bugs me most is that there's something hard-boiled about him.'

Ryu then took a chance to speed up ahead of Mitsuki as the latter was following behind him once again. Mitsuki grunted as the two continued to drive down the street.

(Bloody Stream by Coda)

(Instrumental)

(Mitsuki and Philip are seen walking together, Mitsuki putting on his hat and Philip closing his book, and they point at the screen before the title appears in front of them.)

(Mitsuki is in his office going through his case files, before Kanade handed him a cup of coffee that he happily accepted.)

(Mezameru sono hashiratachi toki wo koe…)

(Philip was having his usual interesting research moment as he was writing on his whiteboards, before he accidentally wrote on Chris's face as she was walking towards him, Philip flinched before Chris slaps on his face. Then images of their friends and allies appeared one at a time.)

(Shinku no chishio ga…)

(Ryu is seen looking at his Accel Memory before he walks forward.)

(Tachiagaru yuuki wo hikiawaseru!)

(W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris are seen surrounded by Noise before they turn to each other and nodded before they charge at the Noise battling against them.)

(Uketsugu ai wo sadame to yobu nara!)

(The mysterious Shroud is seen walking in a dark alley before she turns to the screen showing her white bandage covered face with black sunglasses.)

(Hohoemu me de tsugi no te wo…)

(The Nephilim is in its cage with Ver looking at it with an evil grin before the Nephilim roars. Then images of the Kamen Riders and Symphogear users' enemies appear one at a time, before finally showing Ryubee looking above the Gaia Well.)

(Yami wo azamuite setsuna wo kawashite! Yaiba surinuke yatusra no suki wo tsuke!)

(Shirabe wearing her black Symphogear armor fires from her head compartments, then to Kirika swinging her scythe around and finally to Maria wielding her lance as she uses her HORIZON†SPEAR attack.)

(Tsuranuita omoi ga mirai wo hiraku!)

(The three black Symphogear users are standing atop a stone pillar looking down upon W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris as they get ready for battle. Then an image of a younger Maria reaching out to her sister Serena appears, and then shows the present day Maria looking at Airgetlám in sadness before a teardrop falls from her eye and onto the pendent.)

(Like a Bloody Storm atsuku Like a Bloody Stone! Ketsumyaku ni kizamareta innen ni…)

(W in his Cyclone-Joker Form is seen doing some kicks and punches as he was spinning around, and changes into his Heat-Metal swinging his Metal Shaft around, and soon changes to his Luna-Trigger firing with his Trigger Magnum, and changes to his Fang-Joker attacking with his Arm Saber, and the final spin shows W in a new and unknown form.)

(Ukiagaru kienai hokori no kizuna nigirishimete!)

(Now both Kamen Riders and Symphogear users alike are seen standing side by side as the Nephilim in its final form looking down at them, as the floating city the Frontier raises to the moon.)

Both Mitsuki and Ryu had arrived at a crime scene which was in an apartment room, and two officers greeted Ryu as they saluted the young superintendent.

"Good work." Ryu said and that's when Mitsuki saw his close police friends, Mikio and Shun were with them as they saluted Ryu the moment they saw him.

"We've been waiting for you, Superintendent Terui." Mikio said as Ryu and Mitsuki head to the crime scene with Mikio and Shun.

"This is my first job for my team. Be at the top of your game." Ryu said as he headed inside the apartment room as Mikio and Shun stopped by the door.

"Yes, sir!" Both police detectives said.

"Huh…" Mitsuki mutters as he follows Ryu into the room and Mikio and Shun follow as well.

Now they were in the room, they all saw that the room was covered in snow and ice as the victim's outline was on the floor and strangely it was the only spot devoid of any ice or snow.

"Ice? What's with this room? It's like a freezer?" Mitsuki said.

"The victim?" Ryu asked.

"A production company president, Ikeda Shinya, 42 years old." Mikio said as Mitsuki noticed a picture of Ikeda Shinya on a shelf as he was hugging two beautiful young women. "He was found here, frozen."

"It is believed this is the same culprit behind the recent streak of freezing incidents." Mikio told them.

"I see." Ryu said in understanding.

"Hey." Mitsuki said as he realized something as he turned to Mikio. "Is he higher than you, Mikio-san?"

Mikio then pulled him over and placed an arm on his shoulders.

"Superintendent Terui was assigned to the Fuuto Police to investigate unusual crimes. He's elite." Mikio quietly explains to Mitsuki.

"Eh? Investigate unusual crimes?" Mitsuki said as he turned back to Mikio.

"Well...like Gaia Memory crimes for example. Makura and I have handled Dopant cases, so we were put on a team with him." Mikio said before Shun whispers to Mitsuki.

"Terui-san is an amazing person. He's so young, yet he's a superintendent. I sure idolize him." Shun said with a smile on his face.

"Your type will surely get promoted." Mikio stated. Mitsuki chuckles.

"Haha. I agree." Mitsuki said in agreement.

Ryu looks around the crime scene for clues, and that is when he spotted something beneath the table before he knelt down to it and picked it up, and saw that it was a blue flower.

As Ryu was looking at the flower closely, he soon slammed his hand on the table which got Mitsuki, Mikio, and Shun's attention.

"What is it?" Mitsuki asked as he walked to Ryu. "Did you find…"

"Let me warn you!" Ryu shouted at Mitsuki as he stopped walking.

"Huh?" Mitsuki said in confusion before he noticed the flower in Ryu's hand. "Ah, that flower…"

Mitsuki was about to take the flower out his hand to get a closer look at it himself, but then Ryu grabs onto his jacket and slams Mitsuki to the wall as he stares at his face.

"Don't ask me questions." Ryu warned him.

"Huh?" Mitsuki said before Ryu let go of him as he pushed him to the side. "What are you doing?!"

"Where's the victim, Ikeda?" Ryu asked as he turned to Mikio and Shun.

"He was taken to Suzuari General Hospital…" Shun said as Ryu left the apartment room as they watched him leave.

"Hey!" Mitsuki calls out as he follows him.

(Meanwhile)

In the Sonozaki mansion, Ryubee and Saeko had brought Wakana to the very bottom of their home as she was now standing in front of the Gaia Well, the source of all the Gaia Memories.

"This place is...where Museum...started?" Wakana said as she looked at the Gaia Well and the stone room they were in.

"Yes. For you, this is your true beginning." Ryubee said as he held Mick in his arms. "Wakana, I want you to formally become a core member of our organization."

"Otou-sama...That's…" Wakana started.

"Okay? You can learn various things from Saeko." Ryubee told her.

While a little reluctant and scared, Wakana nodded as she wasn't able to disobey her father.

"I understand." She said, and Ryubee smiled to hear that before he and Saeko walked together.

"Speaking of which, there's been a streak of freezing incidents, hasn't there?" Ryubee asked.

"It is probably that Dopant rampaging again." Saeko told him.

"What a very fascinating Memory. That person might be a bit dangerous, but it could be worth looking into." Ryubee said.

"Of course, Father." Saeko said.

Wakana watches her two only family members leaving before she looks at the Gaia Well once again as she wonders how this will affect her life from here on.

(Back with Mitsuki and Ryu)

Riding on their respective bikes, both Mitsuki and Ryu had arrived at the hospital where they were keeping and treating Ikeda Shinya, as they soon stopped in the parking lot.

They soon got off their bikes and took off their helmets before they heard screaming. Both detective and police officer looked and saw people running away, and one of them was Ikeda Shinya with his hands covered in bandages and using a crutch in an attempt to get away from his pursuer before he fell to the ground.

The pursuer was a Dopant. Its body was colored black with white armor with blue veins on the chest, the armor covers its chest, biceps, and waist, the Dopant also had four tube like fingers and was wearing a white mask with two black spot eyes with white spikes that was pulled back from the mask and has the same spikes on the back of its body.

"A Dopant?" Mitsuki said as he was about to move to save Ikeda.

"I knew it! After Ikeda again?!" Ryu said as Mitsuki stopped and turned back to the superintendent as he pulled something out of his bike.

"What the heck is that?" Mitsuki said in wonder before he saw that it was a sword.

The sword looks like a rifle but instead of a barrel it had a long sharp blade, and had a small engine in the middle between the handle and the blade, with a trigger on the handle. This is the Engine Blade.

Ryu struggles to lift it up before he lets it fall to the ground which leaves a large crack on the asphalt, showing that the sword was too heavy for an average human to wield as Mitsuki was further stunned by this.

Ryu then begins to drag the sword on the ground as he moves towards the Dopant while Mitsuki watches him as the sword leaves a trail mark.

The Dopant walks to Ikeda as the latter tries to crawl away from it but wasn't able to move too well due to his injuries.

"Let me go already! What did I do to you?!" Ikeda said.

"I'm not satisfied yet." The Dopant answered before he made a fist. "Listen to yourself fall apart!"

The Dopant soon throws a punch at Ikeda and Ryu stops him in time as he blocks it with his sword. The Dopant then turns to Ryu as he glares at him with pure rage in his eyes.

"I've found you! You bastard!" Ryu shouted as he slammed his sword on the Dopant's head which forced him to stumble away from Ikeda.

As the Dopant stops by a wall, Ryu quickly moves at him as he drags his sword on the ground once again before he slashes at the Dopant but he is able to dodge, Mitsuki continues to watch as he approaches them.

The Dopant continues to dodge Ryu's sword slashes before his heavy sword slams into a support pillar as it leaves a large crack.

"What are you doing, Hidari?! Become W already and fight!" Ryu told him and Mitsuki was surprised to hear that.

"How do you know that?!" Mitsuki asked.

"I told you I don't take questions!" Ryu said as he pulled his sword out of the pillar as he continued to slash at the Dopant several times as the latter continued to dodge them.

Mitsuki groans as Ryu and the Dopant move to the parking lot.

"I really don't like this guy! Philip, time to transform." Mitsuki said as he brought out and put on his Driver.

"Oh, Mitsuki...Can you wait a bit?" Philip told him. Mitsuki wonders what that is about before he gets his answer. "Oh! There are a lot of different types? But it would be hard to change the office."

"Nani?! What are you into now?!" Mitsuki said in annoyance as Ryu notices that as he turns to him.

"Useless bastard!" Ryu said as he swung his sword at the Dopant but he once again dodged it as Ryu's heavy sword cut straight into a car's engine as it reached to the ground.

Just as Ryu turns to the Dopant, he soon unleashes an icy mist from his wings as it heads straight to Ryu as he was forced back.

Mitsuki soon brings out his Joker Memory.

[JOKER]

But the Cyclone Memory didn't appear on his Driver before he pressed on his Joker Memory again.

[JOKER]

"Ah, mou!" Mitsuki pressed on the Joker Memory several times. "I'm not stopping, so hurry up!"

"How noisy. Guess I don't have a choice." Philip said.

Mitsuki soon strikes his pose.

"Henshin!" Mitsuki and Philip said at the same time.

The Cyclone Memory soon appeared in Mitsuki's Driver as he pushed it down and inserted the Joker Memory into the other slot.

[CYCLONE-JOKER]

As Mitsuki transforms into W he soon charges at the 'Ice' Dopant as he lands a kick on him which forces the Dopant to stumble away from Ryu. Ryu then looks at W in awe.

"Kamen Rider...W!" Ryu said before W charges at the Dopant once again.

The 'Ice' Dopant unleashed his icy mist at W before landing a kick on his hand, the Dopant once again unleashed his mist at the Kamen Rider, but W dodges it by ducking under it as he lands another kick on the 'Ice' Dopant.

W dodges a punch from the Dopant and counters with a punch on the chest before W dodges the Dopant's mist again and kicks on him.

The 'Ice' Dopant once again unleashed his mist at W as he was pushed back but manages to fight through it as he throws a punch at the Dopant, but W stops as he soon notices that his right hand is covered in frost and ice.

"Nani?!" W-Mitsuki said as he looked at the frozen fist. "You bastard!"

W was about to charge at the Dopant to attack, but wasn't able to move as his right foot was also frozen as it was now stuck on the ground.

The 'Ice' Dopant then begins to beat on W landing a few punches on him. W counters by punching with his left hand but the Dopant dodges it and begins to beat on the Kamen Rider once again.

"Looks like Heat is the thing to use for this opponent." W-Philip advises.

W quickly changes to his Heat Memory as he inserted it into his Driver.

[HEAT-JOKER]

As W changes to his Heat-Joker form, he soon lands a fire enhanced uppercut on the 'Ice' Dopant which sends him to the ground and melted the frost and ice on W's right hand and foot.

The Dopant soon stands back up and charges at W to attack him, and W blocks it as he begins to beat on the Dopant with fire enhanced punches which force the 'Ice' Dopant to move back before he rolls on the ground.

Not liking his chances here, the 'Ice' Dopant soon stands back up and runs away.

"You're not getting away!" Ryu said as he chased after the Dopant while dragging his sword before he carried it in his hands.

As Ryu turns to the side, he spotted not the Dopant, but a woman in white clothing running away before she turns to Ryu as he gets a good look at her face.

She had black hair tied in a bun with matching eyes, and she appeared to be in her late-30s to early 40s.

"Hey!" Ryu said as he now chased the woman as he thought she was the Dopant in human form.

Mitsuki, now out of his armor, had followed him before Ryu moved to behind the van that was in the way and saw that the woman was now gone.

As Ryu looks for her, he soon spotted the same blue flower from the crime scene lying on the ground before he picks it up with a piece of cloth.

Mitsuki soon arrived as he stopped behind him as Ryu stood back up.

"What is it?" Mitsuki asked.

"Hidari. The keywords are 'ice' and…'flowers'." Ryu said and Mitsuki was surprised to hear that.

"Eh?" Mitsuki then walks to his side.

"This time, have your right side do a lookup." Ryu told him.

"You...How do you know that?" Mitsuki asked.

In the Narumi Detective Agency, Philip, Kanade, and Chris were in the secret hangar room as the girls were looking at Philip with tired expressions on their faces as music was heard in the room.

They soon saw the door opening and saw not only Mitsuki, but Ryu, as the superintendent opened the door as he and Mitsuki walked down the stairs.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Mitsuki calls out as Kanade and Chris were surprised to see Ryu in the secret room.

"What the…?" Kanade said.

"What is that guy doing here?" Chris asked.

"He entered without asking." Mitsuki told them as they soon arrived at the bottom floor. "Hey!"

"So that's what it is." Ryu said as he looked at the room before he walked up to the catwalk.

"Oh no, he came up." Kanade said.

Mitsuki walks up to the catwalk as well before he gasps as he sees his partner, Philip, on the other side.

"What is that outfit?!" Mitsuki asked as Philip was wearing a Saint Bernard dog costume with a rescue barrel around his neck.

Philip barks while doing a dog pose and Mitsuki sighs as this might be his usual hobby.

"He insisted on raising a Saint Bernard dog and wouldn't listen to us otherwise." Kanade said.

"And he heard from his usual 'Healing Princess'." Chris said in some annoyance.

"Nani?" Mitsuki said.

"Listen, Mitsuki. Just now on Wakana-san's radio show, she talked about a mountain rescue." Philip says as Mitsuki's sighs while Ryu walks to the bookworm as he continues to go on. "A Saint Bernard dog can save people."

"For you...Healing Princess...is banned for now!" Mitsuki told his partner which was much to his dismay.

"Eh?! No way…" Philip said in sadness as he walked past Ryu as he removed his hood.

"W's brain, Philip, right?" Ryu asked which surprised Kanade and Chris as Philip turned to the superintendent. "I'm amazed the two of you made it this long like this."

"Huh?" Mitsuki asked.

"You...How do you know that?" Chris asked in suspicion.

"Don't ask me questions." Ryu told her. "I also know who you are, Yukine Chris, one of the heroes of the lunar incident."

"Eh?!" Chris said in shock.

"I investigated you guys...using him." Ryu said as he raised his hand and flew above it was the same robotic kabutomushi that Philip was looking for during the Bird Case.

"Ah...My kabutomushi!" Philip said as he was surprised to see it before the kabutomushi changes into a flip phone as it falls into Ryu's hand as he catches it.

"Just like the Phones you and Philip use." Kanade said.

"Who are you?" Mitsuki asked.

"I am...a man who will someday be a Kamen Rider." Ryu said as he brought out and showed his Gaia Memory before he pressed on its button.

[ACCEL]

Mitsuki, Philip, Kanade, and Chris were surprised to see the Gaia Memory in his hand and it was the same type Mitsuki and Philip use as W.

"The city's people call the hero who defeats the Dopants, Kamen Rider, correct? Then I will take that place. W lacks the power." Ryu stated as he walked on the bridge and Mitsuki was offended to hear that.

"What was that?! Don't mess with us…" Mitsuki said as he walked to Ryu.

"What an unpleasant man." Philip said as he was also offended by this as Ryu turned to him. "I will not allow you to insult us."

"Huh? Philip being prideful for a change." Chris said.

"Yeah. This is a matter of his honor as W too." Kanade said.

"You're more emotional than I would have thought. Then show me how good you are." Ryu told him as he and Philip stared at each other.

"Lookup start." Philip said as he entered the Gaia Library. "What we want to know is the culprit's location. Keywords: Ikeda Shinya. Ice. Flower."

While it had removed some of the bookshelves as Philip walked next to them.

"Hmmm...There are so many victims that there are many results. I can't pare it down to one." Philip told Ryu with his real-world body.

"Further keywords…" Ryu said as he brought out the blue flower. "Yaguruma chrysanthemum and artificial coloring."

And those words helped as it removed the rest of the remaining bookshelves while leaving only one book titled 'Place'.

"Down to one." Philip said as he grabbed onto the book and read it. "'Cornflower blue', the name of a flower shop found only in Fuuto. One of their favorite customers is Ikeda Entertainment Productions."

Ryu then looks at the flower in his hand.

"Horticulture has given this flower a special color. It's quite a high-level technique." Ryu said.

"It has a plantation and a manufacturing site. Seems the shop has created various flowers using their own technology." Philip said.

"So the Yaguruma chrysanthemum is one of their famous products?" Ryu said.

Kanade then remembers something about that. She soon brought out a magazine and showed them a page of the same flower and the person who made them: Katahira Makiko.

"It's the woman I saw at the scene." Ryu said.

"This person is pretty famous. She's been on TV. They say, 'Her money's dirty', or 'She's a miser'. She has a poor reputation." Kanade told them.

"W is pretty impressive...At least the brain half." Ryu said as he walked.

"Huh?" Mitsuki said as he turned to him.

Mitsuki, Ryu, Kanade, and Chris had arrived at the flower shop that Katahira Makiko owns. Ryu showed his police badge to one of the employees.

"Where is Katahira Makiko?" Ryu asked.

"The shop owner is…" She said before another voice said.

"Who's asking for my mom?"

They turned and saw a young man riding on a bicycle had arrived. He appeared to be in his late teens to early 20. He had brown hair and black eyes.

"Ah, Kiyo-san."

"Who's he?" Chris asked.

"The shop owner's son." She told them.

Kiyo then gets off his bike and walks to them.

"What did my mom do?" Kiyo asked.

"I'm investigating that. Any idea where she is?" Ryu asked as he walked to him.

"Stop the bad joke. A lot of people say she's bad, but my mom's just strict about work." Kiyo told him.

"I just want to talk with her. Where is she right now?" Ryu asked.

While a little reluctant, Kiyo answered the police officer's question.

"Probably...Fuuto En."

"Fuuto En? The amusement park?" Kanade asked.

"Why should she go there?" Chris asked.

"They're a regular customer. She's in charge of the flower bed art direction." She told them, and that is what Ryu wanted to know as he leaves the flower while walking past Kiyo.

"Wait." Kiyo said.

"Hey! You're going already?" Mitsuki calls out as he follows him while pushing Kiyo which makes him trip on his feet. "Oh, sorry!"

"Sorry!" Kanade said as she and Chris followed Ryu as well.

As they were walking to their bikes, Kanade was quietly speaking with Mitsuki.

"Hey, Mitsuki, do you notice something off about Terui?" She asked.

"Yeah, I did. I also noticed his behavior towards that Dopant from earlier. We should probably keep an eye on him." Mitsuki told her.

"Agreed. Especially since I know that look in his eyes." Kanade said as she remembers the look in Ryu's eyes all too well. They had the look of anger and vengeance in them.

Mitsuki and Ryu were riding their bikes with Kanade and Chris seated behind them respectively with Kanade riding with Mitsuki and Chris riding with Ryu.

They soon arrived at the Fuuto En amusement park as they stopped in front of the entrance as family and friends alike were walking into the amusement park. They then got off the bikes and removed their helmets.

"Nice." Kanade said as she smiled at the amusement park. "Think we can ride on the rides while we're here?"

"Kanade, focus. We're here for work, not fun." Mitsuki told her and Kanade pouted as she turned away from him.

"I know that. But you don't have to be a party pooper about it." Kanade mutters.

"For a hardboiled guy like me. Work is fun." Mitsuki said as he put on his hat.

"Oh, Mitsuki!" Said a familiar voice and Mitsuki flinches as he turns and sees Hibiki approaching them as she waves while Miku and Tsubasa stop walking as they had a worried look on their faces.

"H-Hibiki? W-What…" Mitsuki said before he coughed in his hand as he kept his cool. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, me, Miku, and Tsubasa-san are here to have some after they help me study for make-up exams." Hibiki said before she sighs.

"I-I see…" Mitsuki said before Hibiki blinked as she raised an eyebrow.

"Wait...Now that I think about it, why are you here with Kanade-san and Chris-chan?" Hibiki asked before she noticed Ryu was with them. "And who is that guy?"

"Oh him...He's a...a client, he hired me to help look for his lost dog." Mitsuki told her.

"Dog?" Ryu said before Chris elbows him.

"Just play along." Chris quietly told him.

"Oh, so it's just your usual lost pet case." Hibiki said.

"Yeah. Of course, it is." Mitsuki said before he messages Miku by blinking, telling her to help him, and Miku understood as she nodded.

"H-Hibiki…" Miku calls out and Hibiki turns to her as Miku had fallen on her knee and had a hand on her head.

"Miku?!" Hibiki said in worry as she and Mitsuki knelt down to her. "Are you alright? What's wrong?"

"I don't know...My head hurts all of a sudden…" Miku mutters.

"Wait. Do you have a fever?" Hibiki said as she placed a hand on Miku's forehead and placed her other hand on her own. "Weird...You don't feel hot."

"Well, it might not be serious, but you should take Miku back to your dorm just to be safe." Mitsuki told her and Hibiki nodded in agreement.

"Right. Here, Miku, I'll help you walk." Hibiki said as she helped Miku stand back up slowly.

"I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean to ruin things like this." Miku said.

"It's fine. Don't worry. Sorry, Tsubasa-san, we might need to make a rain check for the amusement park." Hibiki said as she and Miku walked away.

"It's fine. Just take care of Kohinata." Tsubasa told her.

Thankfully the bus had arrived in time as Hibiki and Miku entered it before it drove away leaving the park.

Mitsuki sighs in relief before Tsubasa speaks to him.

"So, I'm guessing this pet case is actually Dopant related." Tsubasa said.

"Yeah. And thanks for playing along, Tsubasa. I can't involve Hibiki in this." Mitsuki said.

"It's fine. But how long are you going to keep this up?" Tsubasa asked. "I want to protect Tachibana as badly as you do, but distancing yourself from her like this would only draw in more suspicion."

"I know that. But this is something I have to do. As her friend." Mitsuki said.

As they were talking, Ryu then spotted a woman looking at them before she left.

"Hidari." Ryu calls out as Mitsuki turns to him.

"Huh?" Mitsuki said.

"You guys search for Katahira Makiko." Ryu said as he followed the woman.

"Eh? Hey!" Mitsuki calls out but Ryu ignores him as he continues to run. "What's with that guy?"

"So who was that man?" Tsubasa asked.

"We'll explain on the way." Kanade said as they entered the amusement park.

As they were walking throughout the amusement park looking for Katahira Makiko, Tsubasa was brought to speed on what was going on.

"I see. So you believe that this, Katahira Makiko, might be the culprit behind these freezing incidents." Tsubasa said.

"That seems likely. But I want to hear her side of the story first, before I decide on anything." Mitsuki said.

"But is it really true that this, Terui Ryu, has a Gaia Memory like yours and Philip's?" Tsubasa asked.

"Yeah. Me and the brat saw it ourselves. I'm mostly curious on how he got his hands on it." Kanade said.

"Question for another time. For now, my first priority is finding our suspect." Mitsuki told them.

Chris then notices something before she calls out to the others as she points with her hand.

"Hey! Isn't that her?" Chris said.

The others looked and saw Katahira Makiko riding alone on the merry-go-round.

"An adult riding on the merry-go-round by herself?" Mitsuki said.

(Meanwhile with Ryu)

Ryu was running through a forest of trees before he stopped and spotted the one he was looking for.

"So it is you...Shroud!" Ryu said as the woman was standing in front of him.

Shroud is a woman wearing a black trench coat with matching gloves and a large hat, and her face was covered in white bandages and was wearing sunglasses over her eyes. The only thing that sticks out is that she had long brown hair.

Shroud pointed her finger in front of Ryu's feet, and then a ring of fire appeared in front of him and within the circle was a metal briefcase. With a flick of her hand the flames had vanished.

Ryu quickly opens the case and within it is a Driver.

The Driver resembles a speed gauge of a motorbike with handles bars on the sides with a clutch lever on the left. This is the Accel Driver.

"My Driver's ready?!" Ryu asked as he looked up at Shroud but only to see that she was now gone.

(Back with Mitsuki and the others)

After riding on the merry-go-round, Katahira Makiko walks off of it and is going to leave before Mitsuki and his friends appear behind as he calls out to her.

"Merry-go-round. Eh?" Katahira Makiko stops and turns to the four teens.

"Is it strange seeing this old lady on it?" Makiko asked.

"No, that's not what I meant." Mitsuki told her as Makiko faced the young private detective.

"In the past...I came often with my child." Makiko said as she looked at the merry-go-round. She then remembers riding on it with her son when he was a child, smiling and laughing with him. "He'd beg me many times to ride it."

"Can we talk? Katahira Makiko-san." Mitsuki said as Makiko turned back to him.

"What would you want?" Makiko asked.

"We're searching for the culprit behind the serial freezing incidents. Someone saw you near one of the victim's hospital." Mitsuki told her.

"Are you people the police?" Makiko asked.

"I'm a detective." Mitsuki answered.

"The city's wild dogs? Then I'm ignoring you." Makiko said as she walked away. "Get lost, please."

"What a bitch." Chris said.

"Can't have that now!" Mitsuki said as he and his friends followed her. "Even a wild dog has pride. If you're the one making the city cry, then I'll have to bite you."

Makiko stops walking and Mitsuki and the girls do the same.

"Makiko-san, please. If you know something then you have to tell us." Kanade said as she moved closer to her.

But then Makiko pushed Kanade which pushed Mitsuki away as he caught her before Makiko used this chance to run away.

Mitsuki then saw Makiko running to a corner and he chased after her but then a freezing mist appeared from that very corner as Mitsuki was pushed back.

Then Mitsuki and his friends saw the 'Ice' Dopant walking out of his...or her hiding spot, and after seeing the Dopant the civilians ran away.

"She transformed!" Kanade said.

"Guess that settles it then." Mitsuki said as he brought out his Joker Memory. "Philip, henshin!"

[JOKER]

(Cue: Free your Heat)

Philip closes his book as he stands up.

"Let's go straight to Heat." Philip said as he brought out his Heat Memory.

[HEAT]

Then both Mitsuki and Philip strike their poses.

"Henshin!" Both Mitsuki and Philip said at the same time.

Philip inserted the Heat Memory into his Driver as it soon appeared in Mitsuki's as he soon inserted his Joker Memory into his Driver and pushed the sides down.

[HEAT-JOKER]

Mitsuki transforms into W in Heat-Joker, he then notices Tsubasa and Chris were now wearing their Symphogear armor.

"You two…" W-Mitsuki said.

"You didn't think we'd let you have all the fun, did you?" Chris asked as she brought out a pair of handguns.

"We can't allow her to hurt anymore people." Tsubasa said as she brought out her sword.

"Just be careful. She was able to freeze our armor when we were using Cyclone-Joker." W-Philip told them.

"Noted." Tsubasa said.

The 'Ice' Dopant roars as she charges at W and his friends and W did the same as he throws a kick at the Dopant but she dodges it and caught an incoming punch from W by grabbing onto his arm before they moved away from the merry-go-round and next to the lake.

The 'Ice' Dopant soon throws W to the ground as he rolls around.

Then the Dopant dodges an incoming slash from Tsubasa and dodges a few more slashes from the sword user, before the 'Ice' Dopant catches her sword between her hands before she unleashed her icy mist around her body which forces Tsubasa to pull her sword out of the Dopant's hands and move away from her.

As Tsubasa stops moving back, she soon notices that her hands are now frozen and stuck on her sword.

"Nani?!" Tsubasa gasp.

Then the 'Ice' Dopant unleashed her mist from her fingers at it heads to Tsubasa and she dodges the mist in time by rolling on the ground and continues to dodge the Dopant's icy mist but on her next roll, the 'Ice' Dopant timely fired her mist at Tsubasa which froze her leg and foot as she was now stuck on the ground.

"Dammit! I was careless." Tsubasa said.

The 'Ice' Dopant was about to attack the now stuck Tsubasa, but she was now fired upon as she moved away from the sword-wielder.

The 'Ice' Dopant turns to her shooter and it was Chris with smoke coming out of the barrels of her guns.

"You didn't forget about me, did you?" Chris said as she fired at the 'Ice' Dopant again.

But the 'Ice' Dopant released her mist from her fingers which froze Chris' bullets as they fell to the ground.

Chris clicks her tongue in annoyance.

"Fine. If that's how you're going to play it!" Chris said as she discarded her guns and brought out her gatling guns and was going to fire at the Dopant.

But then the Dopant unleashed her mist at Chris and she dodges by jumping away from it.

"Like that would work on me!" Chris said.

But the 'Ice' Dopant then froze on her intended landing spot which made an icy circle which made Chris slip and fall on the ground.

"Son of a…" Chris growled before she noticed the 'Ice' Dopant was now moving towards her before she unleashed her mist at her.

Chris dodges by rolling on the ground. Chris quickly stood back up and was going to fire at the 'Ice' Dopant but couldn't as her guns were now frozen which was much to her shock.

"Shit!" Chris growled before the 'Ice' Dopant unleashed another mist at her.

Chris was forced to shield herself with her guns, but as the mist had died down, Chris soon saw that her feet were now frozen and stuck on the ground.

"Dammit!" Chris said as she tried to pull her feet free.

The 'Ice' Dopant laughs at the Symphogear users' current predicament.

"Hey!" W calls out as the Dopant turns to him as he lands a punch straight at her face which forces the Dopant to stumble back. "You've got a lot of nerve messing my friends like that!"

W lands a few more punches on the 'Ice' Dopant before she dodges his next punch and lands a punch of her own on W which forces the dual-theme Rider to stumble back.

W roared as he channels flames around his Heat fist and lands a powerful punch on the 'Ice' Dopant and continues to punch on her several times before the Dopant punches back at W which he dodges as he lands a punch on her chest but the 'Ice' Dopant didn't even flinch before she lands two punches on W which sends him rolling on the ground.

As W stood up on his knee and foot, he soon noticed that his Heat hand was now frozen.

"What a powerful chill to be able to freeze Heat like that." W-Philip said as he stood up on his feet before the 'Ice' Dopant landed a kick on W forcing him to stumble back.

"At this rate...we'll be frozen." W-Mitsuki said as he dodged an incoming punch from the Dopant by rolling on the ground.

"Defeat her before that!" W-Philip told him.

W soon removes his Joker Memory and brings out his Metal Memory. The 'Ice' Dopant growls as she punches at W as he dodges it.

W soon inserted the Metal Memory into his Driver.

[HEAT-METAL]

W changed into his Heat-Metal form and soon pulled out his Metal Shaft as he uses it to attack the 'Ice' Dopant as he channels flames on both ends of it.

The 'Ice' Dopant dodged W's attacks with ease before she fired her mist at W's feet which froze them and W was now stuck on the ground.

(End of song)

"Nani?!" W-Mitsuki said.

"This enemy is powerful." W-Philip said.

The 'Ice' Dopant charges at W to attack him but W keeps her away as he swung his Shaft at her.

"Oh crap!" W-Mitsuki said.

Then everyone heard a dragging sound approaching behind the Dopant, they looked and saw it was Ryu dragging his Engine Blade.

"Good work. But I'm switching in." Ryu said before he uses both hands to pick his heavy sword in front of himself before he stabs it into the ground which left a crack.

Ryu then brought out the Driver he received from Shroud and seeing that surprised W and the two Symphogear users.

"No way…" Tsubasa said.

"That's…" W said.

"I have been waiting for this day. For the day I obtain the ultimate power...and defeat you!" Ryu said as he put the Driver on his waist and a silver belt appeared around his waist and Ryu soon brought out the Accel Memory.

[ACCEL]

"Hen...shin!" Ryu shouted as he inserted the Accel Memory into his Driver and it made engine noises before he twisted on the right handle causing the Driver to rev-up like a motorcycle.

[ACCEL]

Kanade soon arrives as she looks at Ryu as well.

Ryu twisted the handle a few more times before 7 mufflers appeared in front of him and formed a ring of fire as the mufflers were bumping and metal fragments appeared around Ryu's body to form armor.

His armor and bodysuit was all red, the torso sported a silver grill on his stomach, blocky shoulders with a wheel on the back, and on the sides his arms and legs with silver guards. He was wearing black gloves, and his boots are silver and also sported one half of a wheel behind each calf, and his helmet had a blue visor with 'A' in the center, the top of the 'A' went past his helmet to form a horn.

This is Kamen Rider Accel.

"Now!" Accel said before he pulled his sword out of the ground with just one hand as it was now light as a feather to him. "Let's shake it off."

Accel soon charges at the 'Ice' Dopant and lands a powerful slash on her followed with another slash. The Dopant counters by throwing a punch at Accel and the Red Rider parries it and throws the Dopant over his shoulder as she falls to the ground.

As the 'Ice' Dopant stood up back, Accel landed another slash with his Engine Blade followed with a few more slashes before his last slash forced the Dopant to stumble back.

As Accel charged at her, the 'Ice' Dopant fired her mist in front of Accel which froze his armor. The Dopant huffs and saids.

"Listen to yourself fall apart."

The 'Ice' Dopant charges at Accel to finish him, but then Accel twisted his Driver's handle bar which ignited his armor and melted the ice on it as he lands a slash on the Dopant which sends her rolling on the ground.

"I see, so it has this ability too?" Accel said as he opened his Engine Blade like a shotgun revealing a slot within it.

Accel then brings out a silver Gaia Memory with the letter 'E' on it along with the word 'Engine'. Accel soon inserted the Gaia Memory into his sword.

[ENGINE]

Accel closes his sword as flames soon surround the Engine Blade while unleashing a powerful heatwave which forced the 'Ice' Dopant to stand back and melted the ice on W, Tsubasa, and Chris which freed them.

"That's better." Chris said as she dismissed her guns.

The 'Ice' Dopant charges at Accel to attack, and Accel lands a powerful slash on her fist which forces the Dopant to stumble back. The Dopant was about to attack Accel once again, and Accel slashes on her again as she falls on her hands and knees. As the 'Ice' Dopant stood back up, Accel lands another slash which sends her rolling on the ground.

"Incredible." Tsubasa said.

"What powerful offensive capabilities." W-Philip said.

The 'Ice' Dopant stood back up and used her powers to create an ice road.

"I'm going to remember this!" She told Accel as she skates on the ice road while using her powers to create a longer path to get away.

Accel's visor lights up and his Driver's speed meter did the same.

"This is it. You're not getting away!" Accel says as grabs his Driver's handlebars and removes it before he jumps into the air.

His body begins to change form as the wheel on his back moves over his head and the wheels on his feet combine into a larger wheel, and Accel lands on his wheels as he was now in the form of a motorcycle.

His Driver was connected to the front wheel while his legs and feet acted as exhaust pipes.

Accel's visor lights up as he twisted his right handle bar which revs the engine on his chest.

Seeing Accel in that form surprised W and his friends.

"What the heck is that?!" W-Mitsuki said.

"Now that is cool." Kanade said in awe.

Accel twisted on his right handlebar and flames appeared out of his feet as he chased the 'Ice' Dopant like a motorcycle.

"He's fast!" Kanade said as she and the others followed Accel.

"What?!" The Dopant said in shock as she saw Accel as a motorcycle chasing after her.

The 'Ice' Dopant continued to ski away by forming an ice road in front of her but that didn't stop Accel as he was getting closer to her.

The Dopant then jumps onto the roller coaster and freezes it with her powers before she slides down on it, and with a twist on his handle Accel jumps and rocketed to the coaster as he now rides on it as he chases the Dopant.

The 'Ice' Dopant jumps off the coaster and to the lake before she freezes it and skis on it to get away, and Accel lands on the frozen lake as he continues to chase the Dopant.

The 'Ice' Dopant now jumps outside of the park and lands on a grassfield before she sees Accel jumping over and lands in front of her.

Accel then twisted on his handlebar which unleashed large flames from his feet at the Dopant setting her on fire, but the 'Ice' Dopant was able to extinguish by unleashing her icy mist around her body.

W and his friends had soon arrived as they saw Accel changing back into his Base form as he turned to the Dopant.

Accel then pulled on the clutch on his Driver.

[ACCEL: MAXIMUM DRIVE]

Accel's visor lights up as his Driver was making engine sounds before he twists on his right handlebar several times.

Soon flames appeared around Accel's body and the 'Ice' Dopant channels her mist around her body.

Accel soon charges and jumps at the Dopant and soon throws a reverse spin kick at her as Accel makes a red energy skid mark as it hits on the Dopant's body.

"Despair is your goal!" Accel declared before the Dopant shattered into pieces.

"He won!" Kanade said in amazement.

"Dang...Hate to say it, but he's pretty cool." Chris said as she was impressed.

"Yeah. How hardboiled." W-Mitsuki said in awe.

Accel then turns to the Dopant's remains but sees there was no sign of her human body or a shattered Gaia Memory, instead there were only broken ice pieces.

"Creating an ice clone to escape?!" Accel said before he saw the real and still active 'Ice' Dopant running away before she ran down a slope. "What a sneaky thing to do!"

Accel chases after the Dopant and when he arrives on top of the slope, he now sees Makiko holding her Gaia Memory in her hands.

Accel then walks to her as W and his friends run up the slope as they see Makiko.

"Looks like she's surrendering." Tsubasa said.

"Guess that's it then." Chris said as she placed her hands behind her head.

"Yeah. All that's left is to take her to the police." W-Mitsuki said.

"You!" Accel said in pure rage as he brought out his Engine Blade.

"Hey!" W-Mitsuki calls out.

"What are you doing?!" Tsubasa asked.

"You alone…" Accel growls at Makiko as she backs away in fear. "I can't let you live!"

Makiko screams in fear as she falls to the ground.

"The hell?!" Chris said in shock.

"Baka! Are you going to attack someone who's undone their transformation?!" W-Mitsuki calls out as he runs to Accel to stop him. "Stop! Stop!"

Accel clenches his hand and swings his sword at Makiko to finish her before the screen freezes in front of him.
