Case 19: Kanade on the Run
"Listen to the doll's voice." The doll said with Rika's voice.
"The doll is talking!" Kanade said before she turned to Horinouchi. "You're still controlling it!"
Kanade then placed the doll on the ground.
"Rika-chan." Kanade then stood up and moved towards the author. "Why are you using your daughter's doll as your tool of revenge?!"
"What do you know?!" Horinouchi said as he turned away from her.
"I know you're scum!" Kanade exclaimed as she grabbed his collar. "How can you sadden that little girl like that?!"
"What are you talking about?!" Horinouchi exclaimed as he removed her hand.
"Your daughter asked me to retrieve her doll." Kanade told him.
"Don't lie!" Horinouchi shouted.
"It's true!" Kande shouted. "You don't love your daughter, do you? That's why you don't know anything about your daughter!"
"You bitch!" Horinouchi exclaimed as he pushed Kanade to the ground.
"Kanade!" Tsubasa said in worry as she rushed to her friend and knelt down to her.
"Cut the crap!" Horinouchi said before he brings out his Gaia Memory.
[PUPPETEER]
The author then inserted the Gaia Memory under his chin to transform into his Dopant form as he angrily glared at Kanade.
"You bitch!" He growled before he charged at Kanade to attack.
Tsubasa was ready to transform but Kanade stopped her as she grabbed onto her hand and shook her head. Kanade then stood up and faced the Puppeteer Dopant before he suddenly stopped as he saw the look on her face.
Despite seeing him in his Dopant form, Kanade remained unfazed and strongly faced him.
The Puppeteer Dopant growled but before he could attack, W fired his energy shots at him sending the Dopant to the ground.
The Puppeteer Dopant growled as he stood up and was ready to charge at the Riders to fight them, but…
[WEATHER]
Dark clouds suddenly covered the sun and darkened the sky. The Puppeteer Dopant stops as he looks up at the dark clouds, Kanade, the Riders, and the Symphogear users were both surprised and confused by this before a mist suddenly appeared around.
"What the hell?" Chris said.
"Huh? What is this fog?!" W-Mitsuki said.
When the dark clouds and fog faded away, the Puppeteer Dopant was now gone.
"He's gone!" Accel said.
"That punk! Where'd he go?!" W-Mitsuki said.
Tsubasa then turns back to Kanade.
"Kanade, are you alright?" Tsubasa asked.
"Horinouchi…" Kanade mutters before she moves and knelt down to the motionless doll and picks it up. "Rika-chan."
Kanade then hugs the doll.
"I will definitely save you." Kanade promised her.
The Riders and Symphogear users turn to Kanade.
After being taken away, the Puppeteer Dopant now found himself in a dark unfamiliar room and was lying on a metal table with a bright light shining above him.
"Where am I?"
"A hospital." Said Isaka as he walked towards the Dopant to show himself. "But…this one specializes in Dopants."
"What?" The Puppeteer Dopant said in confusion as he turned to the doctor.
"Right now, I am testing a new treatment. I wish to study the Puppeteer Memory. That's why I saved you." Isaka told him.
"I…have lost my puppet. I am of no use to you." The Dopant said.
"Do not worry. I have prepared a substitute." Isaka told him as he pointed at the TV screen.
The Puppeteer Dopant raised his head to look at the TV as it showed live footage of Wakana seated in the lobby.
"Use her as your puppet." Isaka then turns to the Dopant. "Punish those who deny your love."
The Puppeteer Dopant thought about it before he remembered Kanade's words to him.
"You don't love your daughter, do you?"
The Dopant then slams his hand on the table as he growls showing he had no intentions of letting that go.
(Bloody Stream by Coda)
(Instrumental)
(Mitsuki and Philip are seen walking together, Mitsuki putting on his hat and Philip closing his book, and they point at the screen before the title appears in front of them.)

(Mitsuki is in his office going through his case files, before Kanade handed him a cup of coffee that he happily accepted.)
(Mezameru sono hashiratachi toki wo koe…)
(Philip was having his usual interesting research moment as he was writing on his whiteboards, before he accidentally wrote on Chris's face as she was walking towards him, Philip flinched before Chris slaps on his face. Then images of their friends and allies appeared one at a time.)
(Shinku no chishio ga…)
(Ryu is seen looking at his Accel Memory before he walks forward.)
(Tachiagaru yuuki wo hikiawaseru!)
(W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris are seen surrounded by Noise before they turn to each other and nodded before they charge at the Noise battling against them.)
(Uketsugu ai wo sadame to yobu nara!)
(The mysterious Shroud is seen walking in a dark alley before she turns to the screen showing her white bandage covered face with black sunglasses.)
(Hohoemu me de tsugi no te wo…)
(The Nephilim is in its cage with Ver looking at it with an evil grin before the Nephilim roars. Then images of the Kamen Riders and Symphogear users' enemies appear one at a time, before finally showing Ryubee looking above the Gaia Well.)
(Yami wo azamuite setsuna wo kawashite! Yaiba surinuke yatusra no suki wo tsuke!)
(Shirabe wearing her black Symphogear armor fires from her head compartments, then to Kirika swinging her scythe around and finally to Maria wielding her lance as she uses her HORIZON†SPEAR attack.)
(Tsuranuita omoi ga mirai wo hiraku!)
(The three black Symphogear users are standing atop a stone pillar looking down upon W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris as they get ready for battle. Then an image of a younger Maria reaching out to her sister Serena appears, and then shows the present day Maria looking at Airgetlám in sadness before a teardrop falls from her eye and onto the pendent.)
(Like a Bloody Storm atsuku Like a Bloody Stone! Ketsumyaku ni kizamareta innen ni…)
(W in his Cyclone-Joker Form is seen doing some kicks and punches as he was spinning around, and changes into his Heat-Metal swinging his Metal Shaft around, and soon changes to his Luna-Trigger firing with his Trigger Magnum, and changes to his Fang-Joker attacking with his Arm Saber, and the final spin shows W in a new and unknown form.)
(Ukiagaru kienai hokori no kizuna nigirishimete!)
(Now both Kamen Riders and Symphogear users alike are seen standing side by side as the Nephilim in its final form looking down at them, as the floating city the Frontier raises to the moon.)
After the Dopant somehow got away, Mitsuki and the others had returned to the Agency and Kanade brought the doll back with her. Kanade had placed the doll on a chair as she stared at it, she could remember Rika hopping on the chair and introducing herself.
"Rika!"
"I wonder what Rika-chan is doing now." Kanade said.
Mitsuki, Tsubasa, and Chris were seated on the same table with Kanade as they were looking at her in concern.
"She's been staring at that doll for a while. Think she's okay?" Chris asked.
"Actually…I'm not sure myself." Tsubasa said before she turned to Mitsuki. "Maybe you should try saying something to her, Mitsuki?"
"Huh? Why me?" He asked.
"Well…You are technically her boss here." Tsubasa said, and Chris nodded in agreement.
Mitsuki sighed as he shook his head.
"I swear…Hey, Kanade. How long are you going to be in a staring contest with that doll?" Mitsuki asked before he stood up and moved to the doll. "Even if you do that, nothing will happen."
Mitsuki then sat down on the other chair beside the doll.
"Hey!" Mitsuki said before he placed his hand on the doll's head.
"Leave me alone!" A girl's voice told him.
"Hm?" Mitsuki said as he and the others wondered where that voice came from.
"Leave me alone!" The doll spoke which surprised and frightened Mitsuki as he gasped and jumped on the chair.
Tsubasa and Chris grab onto their pendants ready to fight while Kanade looks closely at it.
"So it's true?!" Kanade said.
Jumping onto the doll's head was the Frog Pod as it hops up and down while speaking the girl's voice.
"Leave me alone! Leave me alone!" The Memory Gadget spoke with a recorded voice before it jumped down to the arm rest.
Tsubasa and Chris relaxed while Kanade had a disappointed look on her face. Philip soon arrived as he ran up the stairs and entered the room.
"Oh, there it is." Philip said.
"Oh, it's Philip." Mitsuki said as he leaned on the chair and looked at the Frog Pod before he picked it up. "Still testing out the Frog Pod?"
"Yeah. It somehow sneaked away while I was testing out the Sensor." Philip said.
Mitsuki hummed as he looked at the Frog Pod.
"Leave me alone! Leave me alone!" It said.
Kanade sighed in disappointment.
"Mitsuki." Philip calls out, Mitsuki turns to his partner as he reaches out his hand.
"Huh? Oh…" Mitsuki said before he hands Philip the Frog Pod.
Philip pulls out the Giji Memory.
"Kanade, try saying something." Philip said before he pressed on the Memory's button.
"Stop it. I'm not in the mood." Kanade said as she stood up and sat back down on her chair.
"Got it." Philip said before he released the button and inserted the Giji Memory back in the Frog Pod.
[FROG]
Philip pressed on the Memory Gadget's button to activate it.
"Stop it. I'm not in the mood." The Frog Pod said with Chris' voice which really surprised the latter.
"Hey! Isn't that my voice?!" Chris said.
"Yeah. It surprised me too when I saw it." Mitsuki said.
The Frog Pod then jumps onto its creator's head
"Stop it. I'm not in the mood. Stop it. I'm not in the mood." It repeats before it jumps down on the chair's armrest and onto the doll's lap.
As Kanade looks at the doll, she then remembers Rika's words to her.
"Onee-chan! You can talk to dolls?!"
That's when she remembers Rika wearing a different outfit while carrying a frog based bag on her shoulder.
"Ah! I met her before!" Kanade said, getting her friends' attention.
"You met her? Who?" Mitsuki asked.
"Rika-chan!" Kanade said before he stood up and moved in front of the doll. "Horinouchi's daughter. And…this doll too!"
"What do you mean?" Philip asked.
"It was right around when I joined up with you and Mitsuki…" Kanade said.
(Flashback)
Kanade was seen jogging on the outskirts of the city, she may not be a Symphogear user or an idol anymore, but she wanted to at least keep herself in shape. She then spotted a crying Rika standing on a bridge before she stopped.
"Hey, kid, what's wrong?" Kanade asked as she moved to the crying girl.
She then looked down from the bridge and saw a doll had fallen on the ground below, and Kanade concluded that it must be Rika's doll.
"You dropped your doll?" Kanade asked.
Kanade was able to retrieve Rika's doll and the two were now seated on a bench. Kanade was looking at the doll as she was holding it in her hands.
"Are you hurt? Does it hurt anywhere?" Kanade asked before she placed an ear close to the doll's mouth and smiled. "I see! So you're okay?"
She then turns to Rika to give her the doll.
"Here, she said she's fine." Kanade said before she grabbed hold of her doll.
"Onee-chan, you can talk to dolls?" Rika asked.
"Yeah! If you properly listen to a doll's voice…then I'm sure you can talk to her too." Kanade told her, and Rika smiled.
"That's amazing! Onee-chan, are you a magician?" Rika asked, and Kanade chuckled.
"No. Onee-chan is a detective." Kanade told her.
"A detective?" Rika said in confusion.
Kanade then showed her the agency's business card.
"Here. Come here if you're ever in trouble." Kanade told her before she placed the card in the doll's skirt.
(End of flashback)
"I see. That's why she came to me." Kanade said before she picks up the doll and heads to the door.
"Hey, Kanade! Where are you going?!" Mitsuki calls out as Kanade leaves the building.
Kanade had soon arrived at the spot where she first met Rika as she stopped in front of the bench.
She looked around to see if Rika was here, but she couldn't see her anywhere.
"Of course I wouldn't find her that easily." Kanade said before she sat down on a bench and put the doll down.
As Kanade looks at the doll, she soon hears Rika's voice.
"Onee-chan!"
Kanade turned around and saw Rika was behind as she was seated on a different bench. Kanade smiles in relief to see her as she stands up and runs to the girl.
"Thank goodness!" Kanade said before she sat down beside Rika and grabbed onto her shoulders. "I had a feeling that I'd meet you again if I came here."
Kanade then hugs Rika closely.
"It's okay now. Onee-chan will protect you." Kanade promised her.
"Listen to the doll's voice." Rika told her.
"Rika-chan, listen. Your father has become a bad monster called a Dopant. That's why it's dangerous for you to be with him." Kanade told her.
"Listen to the doll's voice." Rika told her again.
"I got the doll back. It's right there." Kanade pointed at the doll and soon saw that it was now missing.
Kanade was surprised to see that before she looks around it, she then turns back to Rika.
"At any rate, come with me. I'll get a policeman to protect you." Kanade before she and Rika stood up but the latter had repeated her words once again.
"Listen! Listen! Onee-chan, listen to the doll's voice!"
While confused by what she means, Kanade knelt down to Rika and placed her hands on her shoulders.
"Right now, your safety comes before the doll…" Kanade said.
"Doll! Doll! Doll!" Rika repeatedly told her.
"Hey, Rika-chan. What I told you before…about Onee-chan being able to talk to dolls." Kanade said, and Rika nodded with a smile on her face. "That was just an act. I just wanted to make you stop crying. I actually didn't hear a voice. A doll's just a doll."
Both saddened and upset about this, Rika removed Kanade's hands and ran away.
"Wait, Rika-chan!" Kanade said as she was about to follow her.
"Kanade!" Tsubasa calls out as she and Mitsuki have arrived as Kanade stops and turns to them.
"Hey! What happened?!" Mitsuki asked.
"She ran away again!" Kanade said before she turned back to Rika only to see she was now gone once again. "Huh?! Rika-chan?! Rika-chan?!"
Kanade sadly sighed to lose sight of Rika once again before she walked forward.
"Why did this happen?!" Kanade said before she stopped as she saw that the doll was now back on the bench like it didn't even disappear at all.
Kanade was surprised to see the missing doll once again before she remembered Rika's words.
"Listen! Listen! Onee-chan, listen to the doll's voice! Doll! Doll! Doll!"
Kanade sat down on the bench before she screamed in frustration.
"What's the big deal with this doll?!" Kanade said as she pushed the doll to the ground.
"Kanade…" Tsubasa said in worry for her friend.
"You sure you want to do that?" Mitsuki asked.
Kanade then heard her phone ringing before she brought it out and answered it.
"Hello?" Kanade said.
"Kanade." Said Ryu on the other line.
"Oh, Ryu." Kanade said.
"Terui?" Mitsuki said,
"Can you come right now? I have something important to talk about." Ryu told her.
In his clinic, Isaka had finished running a check-up on Wakana as they both left the room with Isaka holding her Gaia Driver in hand.
"Wakana-kun, I'm returning your Driver." Isaka said as he gave the Driver back to Wakana which she soon took before they stopped in the hallway.
"So please turn into a Dopant right now." Isaka requested.
"Eh? But yesterday…" Wakana said.
"Silence!" Said the Puppeteer Dopant as he walked in front of Wakana and Isaka.
"Who are you?!" Wakana asked.
The Puppeteer Dopant then aimed his hand at Wakana and large metal strings appeared from the tips of his fingers as they wrapped around Wakana's arms, legs, and neck, she tried to resist but the Museum commander was now unable to move.
"Your will is gone! You will do as I say!" The Puppeteer Dopant commanded as he made Wakana walk forward and backward.
Isaka smiles in satisfaction before he turns around and walks away as the Puppeteer Dopant continues to control Wakana's body to use her as his new puppet.
"Excellent." Isaka said.
Mitsuki, Tsubasa, and Kanade had soon arrived at the address where Ryu told them to meet with him. The address was actually the home of Horinouchi Keio, the user of the Puppeteer Memory, as his name was on the front gate.
Makura was standing outside in front of the house as Mitsuki, Tsubasa, and Kanade had arrived.
"Good work, Makki." Mitsuki told him as Makura turned to them.
"Oh…" Makura greeted them as they moved to the house. "Wait…Why are you guys here?! Getting in the way again!"
They soon stop at the front door, and Ryu walks out of the said door to greet them.
"Horinouchi lived alone with his daughter after his wife died from sickness." Ryu said before he headed back inside, and the others followed him with Mitsuki receiving a push on the back from Makura.
As they headed towards the living room, they could see trash bags and garbage everywhere on the floor and saw that the living room was a complete mess and had some bottles of alcohol on the floor.
They saw that the desk was also messy as piles of paper along with an empty bottle of alcohol and a cup along with an empty bucket of melted ice, there was also a messy ashtray on the table.
"What a messy life." Mitsuki said as he looked at the mess around him and the others before he picked up an empty glass bottle.
"Rika-chan lives here?" Kanade said before she walked to Ryu.
"That's a bit hard to believe." Tsubasa said before she picked up an empty cigarette box that was crushed and on the floor.
"She did live here, until a month ago." Ryu told them which surprised Kanade.
"Eh?" Kanade said.
"Horinouchi's daughter, Rikako…died in a car accident a month ago." Ryu told them, hearing that surprised Mitsuki, Kanade, and Tsubasa before Mitsuki turned to him.
"What'd you say?" Mitsuki asked.
"A car accident?" Tsubasa said.
"You must be joking, Ryu. I've met her a ton of times since yesterday. Even just now!" Kanade told him.
Ryu then pointed at the wall.
"Look at that." He told them.
Everyone looked and saw a memorial shrine of Horinouchi's wife and daughter as their pictures were placed on a shelf along with some flowers and offerings, Rika's frog bag was placed beside her picture.
Kanade was shocked to see Rika's memorial picture as she could hear a car crashing and Rika was standing in front of it.
"No way…" Kanade mutters.
"Kanade." Tsubasa said before she placed her hands on Kanade's shoulders.
"Do you see now? Horinouchi's daughter is no longer of this world. There's nothing left for you to worry about, Kanade." Ryu told her.
"Terui…" Mitsuki mutters.
"You could've been gentle about it." Tsubasa told him.
"You're lying, right? Then…who is that girl?! Who is Rika-chan?!" Kanade asks as she grabs onto Ryu's arms.
"The name Rika rings a bell." Ryu said before he picks up a DVD case and knelt down to the TV with a player. "Look at this."
Ryu removed the DVD from its case and injected it into the player, the TV soon turned on as it played a recording of Horinouchi with his daughter Rikako.
"Rikako. Your birthday present!" Said Horinouchi as he gave his daughter the very doll he would one day use as the Puppeteer Dopant.
Rikako happily accepts the doll as she hugs it closely and smiles at her father.
"Thanks, Papa!" Rikako said, and Horinouchi smiled before he placed his forehead onto his daughter's forehead.
Horinouchi then turns to the doll.
"What'll you name it?" He asked.
"She's Rikako's little sister, so…Rika!"
"Rika?!"
Hearing that surprised Kanade, Tsubasa, and Mitsuki.
"Rika is the doll's name." Ryu told them. "Kanade, you're overworked. You should take a break."
Kanade wasn't sure how to process this. She knows without a doubt that she met with Rikako, and the note she gave her was indeed real, that's when she realized something.
"Doll…" Kanade said before she remembers the doll's voice calling out to her in its battle against W and Accel.
"Onee-chan…Onee-chan…"
She then remembers when she first met Rikako in the agency and how she introduced herself.
"Rika!"
She then remembers the last time she met with Rika, right after the doll had disappeared.
"Onee-chan! Listen to the doll's voice."
"Could it be…the Rika-chan before my eyes was…that doll!" Kanade said.
"Kanade, what are you talking about?" Tsubasa asked before Kanade heard Rika's voice.
"Onee-chan. Onee-chan."
"Yeah! That must be it!" Kanade said before she remembers throwing the doll to the ground. Kanade then covered her mouth in horror. "I…! What have I done?!"
Kanade then runs to the door.
"Kanade!" Tsubasa said before she followed her friend.
"Hey!" Mitsuki calls out but both Kanade and Tsubasa leave the house, Mitsuki then turns to Ryu. "Terui!"
Both Kanade and Tsubasa soon arrived in the area where they abandoned the doll. Tsubasa then saw something.
"Kanade, over there!" Tsubasa pointed out.
Kanade looks and sees a garbage man holding Rikako's doll before he throws it into the back of his garbage truck and moves to the door.
Kanade gasped in horror before she and Tsubasa rushed to the garbage truck as the garbage man entered it.
"Wait!" Kanade calls out.
But the driver couldn't hear her before the truck drove away.
"I said wait!" Kanade calls out as she and Tsubasa chased the garbage truck.
They followed the truck to the exit as it began to head to the driveway.
"Ah mou! Wait!" Kanade said before she and Tsubasa stopped as the garbage truck soon drove on the street. "Oh no…Rika-chan."
"Kanade…" Tsubasa said before she looked around to see if there was anyone around and then sighed. "I can't believe I'm doing this."
Tsubasa then brings out her pendent.
"Imyuteus Ame no Habakiri Tron…"
Kanade then saw Tsubasa had changed into her armor before she moved in front of Kanade and offered her back to her.
"Tsubasa?" Kanade said before Tsubasa turned to her.
"Come on. We need to save Rika-chan, right?" Tsubasa asked, and Kanade smiled in gratitude before she climbed onto Tsubasa's back as she carried her.
"Thanks. Now let's move!" Kanade said and Tsubasa began to chase after the garbage truck by jumping forward.
Mitsuki and Ryu walked out of the house together.
"I was trying to relieve your friend." Ryu said.
"Kanade believes the doll came to her as a dead girl." Mitsuki said.
"Of course that's impossible. Yet she still treats it as fact." Ryu said before he and Mitsuki stopped walking. "It's just a doll. Why is she still treating it so affectionately?"
Mitsuki hummed before he gave his answer.
"Because…That's Amou Kanade." Mitsuki said.
As he was talking about Kanade, both she and Tsubasa continue to chase after the garbage truck as Kanade continues to call out to the driver.
"Even if she's dealing with a doll…she doesn't want it to cry. I'm sure she's that kind of person." Mitsuki said.
(Meanwhile)
The Puppeteer Dopant soon appeared on top of a building, he then began to flick his fingers before he pointed them forward to control his new and more powerful puppet.
Philip was alone in the agency as Chris had left with Miku and Hibiki to have some okonomiyaki together.
Philip was heading his blank book before he heard a knock on the door. Philip turns to the door thinking that it was Chris.
"Chris-chan?" Philip said before he walked to the door.
Then suddenly, the door exploded and shattered in front of Philip, sending him to the floor.
Philip looked at the now opened door and saw the Claydoll Dopant entering the building as she lowered her arm cannon.
Thinking that she was coming after him, Philip runs to the hangar and quickly closes the door. Philip was about to run down the stairs before he heard a familiar voice.
"Don't hide!"
Philip turns to the door as he recognizes that voice.
"That voice! The puppeteer!" Philip said as he realized that the Puppeteer Dopant must be using his powers to control the Claydoll Dopant.
Puppeteer then made the Claydoll Dopant to fire her arm cannon at the door which shattered it as the energy blast exploded, and the explosion sent Philipy flying off the staircase and rolling on the catwalk.
Philip quickly brings out his Stag Phone to call for help but the controlled Claydoll Dopant stops him as she fires an energy blast at him.
Philip rolled on the catwalk once again and the Stag Phone fell out of his hand and to the ground below.
"Oh no!" Philip said.
The Puppeteer Dopant then made Claydoll fire at Philip multiple times as Philip was forced to run across the catwalk before he fell on top of it.
"Answer me! Where is Amou Kanade?!" Puppeteer Dopant spoke through Claydoll Dopant.
"Horinouchi! Isn't your target Terui Ryu?!" Philip said as he stood back up.
"That inspector was merely provoking me into a trap!" The Puppeteer Dopant said as he continued to control the Claydoll Dopant. "But…that girl is different! She alone…I cannot forgive!"
The Puppeteer Dopant was about to make Claydoll fire at Philip once again, but coming to his aid was the Fang Memory as he jumps and attacks on the controlled Dopant's arm cannon.
The Claydoll Dopant fires at Fang, but the living Memory dodges as it continues to attack her.
"Fang!" Philip said in relief.
The Fang Memory jumps straight at the controlled Claydoll Dopant but she fires at it, sending Fang flying before it falls close to his master.
"Oh no." Philip said as the Claydoll Dopant was about to fire at him again with no interruptions this time, but…
"Hey!"
The Claydoll Dopant turns to the door before she is fired upon and is forced to stumble back.
Jumping on the catwalk was Chris, wearing her Symphogear and armed with her guns as she glares at the controlled Museum Commander.
"Chris-chan!" Philip said in relief that she's here.
"The hell do you think you're doing to my man?!" Chris exclaimed, and Philip tilted his head in confusion.
Both Chris and the Claydoll Dopant aimed their weapons at each other and fired.
(With Kanade and Tsubasa)
Both Kanade and Tsubasa continued to chase after the garbage truck as Tsubasa was now running on the ground.
"Stop! Please!" Kanade said as they followed the truck to the garbage dump facility.
They were now in the tunnel as Tsubasa was getting closer to the garbage truck.
"Stop! Stop!" Kanade calls out.
As the truck begins to slow down, Kanade jumps off of Tsubasa's back and rolls in front of it as the driver hits the brakes. Kanade quickly stands up and turns to the truck, while Tsubasa changes back to her normal clothes as she runs to her side.
Kanade then moves closer to the truck as she places her hands on the windshield.
"My client's in there!" Kanade told the garbage men.
Chris was forced to roll on the catwalk as the Claydoll Dopant fired at her, but the Puppeteer Dopant used that chance to fire an energy shot close to Philip which sent him falling to the ground.
"Philip!" Chris said before she jumps and catches him as they safely land on the ground. "You okay?"
"Yeah, thanks for that." Philip said.
Chris and Philip turn back to the controlled Claydoll Dopant, Chris then hugs Philip closely and was ready to use her back as a shield to protect him, but then the gate soon opens and driving through the entrance was Ryu's Gunner A, everyone turns to it before the Gunner brings out its cannon.
"That's…Accel's unit." Philip said.
"Why is it here?" Chris said.
While surprised at first, the Puppeteer Dopant then made Claydoll fires at the Gunner A as she charges and jumps down to it, but the Gunner aimed its cannon at her and fired which shattered the Claydoll Dopant into pieces.
As a result of that, the Puppeteer Dopant stumbles back, he then looks at his hands as he could feel that the Claydoll Dopant was now free of his control.
"I'll definitely find that girl!" The Puppeteer Dopant swore before he moved out to hunt down Kanade himself.
The Claydoll Dopant groans as her body reconstructs itself. Chris moved in front of Philip to protect him and aimed her gun at the Museum Commander to fight her once again.
The Claydoll Dopant then looks at the unfamiliar room that she was now in.
"Where am I?" The Claydoll Dopant said in confusion on why she's here.
That's when she remembers being inside Isaka's clinic when the Puppeteer Dopant appeared to make her into his new puppet. The Claydoll Dopant was now enraged at how the doctor had used her like that.
"How dare you treat me like that! Unforgivable!" The Claydoll Dopant exclaimed before she stormed out of the hangar to head back to the clinic.
Chris lowered her gun before she and Philip stood up, Philip then walked to his Phone and picked it up to call Mitsuki's Phone.
Mitsuki soon hears his Stag Phone ringing before he brings it out and answers it.
"Philip?"
"I can't connect to Kanade's cell. Is she there?" Philip asked.
"No. Kanade left with Tsubasa a while ago." Mitsuki told him.
"This is bad! The puppeteer is after Kanade!" Philip told him which surprised Chris.
"What?" Chris said.
"What'd you say?!" Mitsuki said in shock before he lowered his Phone and turned to Ryu. "Terui, Kanade's in danger!"
Mitsuki then runs to the street and Ryu follows him to find Kanade and Tsubasa.
After the garbage men left their truck, both Kanade and Tsubasa were digging through the back as they threw out garbage bags to search for the doll.
"What are you doing?! You're making a mess!" One of the garbage men told them.
"Stop it! Stop it!"
Both Kanade and Tsubass ignored them as they continued to throw out the bags, but they stopped as they now found what they were looking for.
"Found it!" Kanade said as she threw out the last bag and pulled out Rikako's doll.
Kanade stares at the doll in guilt on what she had done to it.
"I'm sorry." Kanade said before she fell on her knees and hugged the doll closely. "I really am sorry! If only I realized sooner!"
"Kanade…" Tsubasa said before she placed a hand on her shoulder.
Kanade was able to hear Rika's voice this time.
"Tell Otou-san not to cry."
Kanade looks at the doll before she hugs it again.
"You sure are kind, Rika-chan." Kanade said before she heard a familiar voice.
"Found you, Amou Kanade."
Kanade and Tsubasa turned around and saw the Puppeteer Dopant had appeared as he walked out of his hiding spot which was the front of the garbage truck.
Seeing the Dopant causes the garbage men to run away in fear as they scream.
Kanade was surprised to see the Puppeteer Dopant again while Tsubasa moved in front of Kanade and faced the Dopant as she grabbed onto her pendant, ready to fight him.
(Meanwhile)
The enraged Claydoll Dopant had returned to the clinic as she opened the door where Isaka was waiting for her as he was looking at some brain scans.
"Isaka Shinkurou!" Claydoll exclaimed.
"I thought it was about time you came." Isaka told her.
"Don't mess with me!" Claydoll shouted as she aimed her arm cannon to fire but coming in to stop her was the Taboo Dopant as she walked in front of her sister and pushed her cannon away.
"Wakana, stop it." Taboo told her sister.
"Onee-sama?! This is none of your business!" Claydoll stated.
"This girl never learns…" Taboo said.
Both the Taboo and Claydoll Dopants moved in the hallway before both sisters fired an energy blast at each other, they were on equal ground but the Claydoll Dopant manages to overpower her sister's attack and fired in front of her several times before the Taboo Dopant falls to the ground.
"Onee-sama?!" The Claydoll Dopant said in both horror and worry before Taboo changed back into her human form.
"This power…" Saeko mutters before Claydoll change back to her human form.
"I'm sorry! I…" Wakana said before she moved in to help her sister.
But Saeko rejects her help as she slaps Wakana's hands away and stands up on her own.
"It's fine. Don't worry about it." Saeko said as she fixes her clothes, she then turns to Isaka who walks out of the room and stares at her.
Both Kanade and Tsubasa step away as the Puppeteer Dopant walks to them.
"Why are you doing this?!" Kanade asked.
"Why?! Because you insulted me and my daughter!" The Puppeteer Dopant answered.
"Your daughter?!" Kanade said.
"What do you mean?" Tsubasa asked.
"I took my memories of Rikako and wrote a book with them. If I did that, my daughter would continue to live on eternally. That's what I thought, but they insulted the novel! They even said I don't love my daughter! That includes you!" The Puppeteer Dopant declared as he pointed at Kanade.
"That's why you attack those people? For revenge?" Kanade said.
"I see. So that's your reason." Tsubasa said. "Horinouchi-san, we know what happened to Rikako. I'm sorry for your loss, but your daughter would never want this."
"That's right! Doing that would sadden Rikako-chan! And…Rika-chan too!" Kanade told him.
"You mean that doll?" He asked.
"Yeah! She's worried about you!" Kanade told him.
"Don't screw with me! That's just a doll!" The Puppeteer Dopant exclaimed.
Seeing that he was beyond reason right now, Tsubasa changes into her armor and brings out her sword.
"Kanade, run!" Tsubasa told her.
Kanade nodded before she turned around and ran away while Tsubasa charged at the Dopant to attack.
But the Puppeteer Dopant uses both of his hands to bring out his strings as they wrap around both Kanade and Tsubasa's bodies to hold them in place.
The Puppeteer Dopant then lifts up Kanade to the ceiling and above the ground.
"Kanade!" Tsubasa shouted as she tried to break free from the metal strings.
"Let me go!" Kanade said.
The Puppeteer Dopant then moved Kanade to the side.
"How's it feel to be a puppet?!" The Puppeteer Dopant said.
"Please! Listen to the doll's voice!" Kanade pleaded.
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" The Puppeteer Dopant exclaimed before he brought out a knife. "Your voice is an annoying buzz!"
The Puppeteer Dopant soon used his knife to cut off the strings on Kanade's body which sent her falling to the ground as she screamed.
"Kanade!" Tsubasa shouted.
Just before Kanade could hit the ground, coming to her rescue was Kamen Rider W as he jumps and catches Kanade on her arms but accidently touches her butt, Kanade blushes before she whacks W on the head with her slipper.
"That hurt, Kanade!" W-Mitsuki told her.
"You're late, Mitsuki!" Kanade said and W groaned before he let her stand on the ground.
"You…" W said.
With his guard down, Accel uses his sword to cut the strings on the Puppeteer Dopant's other hand which freed Tsubasa, Accel then pointed his sword at the Dopant.
"Don't say that, Kanade. Hidari understands you more than anyone." Accel told her.
"Eh?" Kanade said before she turned to W.
"Aaahhh…Hey, fool! Don't say anything unnecessary!" W-Mitsuki said before he and Tsubasa moved in to fight the Puppeteer Dopant.
"Everyone mocks me!" The Puppeteer Dopant said as he brought out a silver flute and pushed Accel's sword away.
He then brought his flute to his mouth and played it which unleashed a super-sonic wave which forced his enemies to cover their ears.
The Puppeteer Dopant then uses this chance to bring out his strings as they grab hold of Kanade, and throws her to one of the support pillars and ties onto it with her mouth covered to prevent her from speaking.
Tsubasa charges at the Dopant to attack him, but the Puppeteer Dopant stops her as he brings out his strings once again as they tie up her arms, legs, and neck.
The Puppeteer Dopant laughs before Tsubasa falls under his control.
"Tsubasa!/Kazanari!" W and Accel said in worry as they rushed to her.
With a flick of his fingers, the Dopant made Tsubasa slash on Accel and W respectively which caused Kanade to quietly scream.
The controlled Tsubasa slashes on Accel twice before she lands a slash on W's chest forcing him to stumble back.
W grabs hold of Tsubasa's arms to stop her from attacking him.
"Stop it, Tsubasa! Can't you hear me?!" W-Mitsuki said before Tsubasa pulled her arms free and slash on W before he grabbed onto her arms once again.
"Tsu-chan lost her will! She won't stop fighting as long as she's being controlled." W-Philip concluded before Tsubasa pushed him back and slashed him multiple times.
"In that case!" Accel said as he charges the Dopant to attack him.
The Puppeteer Dopant then made Tsubasa throw one of her daggers into Accel's shadow to prevent him from moving.
"Nani?!" Accel said as he managed to see the dagger in his shadow.
Shadow Weaving
"Terui!" W-Mitsuki said before Tsubasa slashes on his chest once again forcing him to spin around. "Dang it! I hate to do this, but…"
W then changes to his Metal Memory to change forms.
[CYCLONE-METAL]
As W changes into his Cyclone-Metal form, Tsubasa swings his sword down at him and W blocks it with his Metal Shaft before he pulls it out and swings it at Tsubasa as she dodges it by stepping back.
W parries another slash from Tsubasa and soon charges at the Puppeteer Dopant to attack him but the controlled Tsubasa stops him by slashing on his back.
As W turns back to Tsubasa, she slashes at W which he blocks with his Shaft but then Tsubasa jumps onto her hand and brings out her ankle blades and spins around to attack W.
Reverse Rakshasa
W tries to block her attack with his Metal Shaft but Tsubasa manages to push W back before she manages to push his Shaft aside and slashes on W several times before he is sent rolling on the ground.
Tsubasa then jumps onto her feet and walks to W before her sword changes into its large form to attack with her Blue Flash.
W soon stood up on his knee and foot.
"Puppeteer is maximizing Tsu-chan's potential abilities." W-Philip said.
"How can we overcome this?!" W-Mitsuki asked before his partner had an idea.
"I've got it, Mitsuki! Use that!" W-Philip told him.
"That?" W-Mitsuki said before he understood what he meant. "Oh! That!"
W then reaches to his back while the Puppeteer Dopant continues to make Tsubasa walk towards him.
"Shall I finish you off?" The Puppeteer Dopant said as he was about to make Tsubasa use her attack, but…
"Stop it. I'm not in the mood." Said Kanade's voice, which made Tsubasa stop her attack.
The Puppeteer Dopant was surprised to hear her voice.
"That girl!" He said as he turns to Kanade but she can only muffle thanks to the strings on her mouth.
"Stop it. I'm not in the mood."
W picks up his Metal Shaft before the Puppeteer Dopant looks down and sees the voice coming from the Frog Pod as it spoke with Kanade's voice as it jumps towards his feet.
"This is?!"
"Now!" W said as he throws his Metal Shaft at the Dopant's chest sending him to the wall before he falls to the ground.
Thanks to that, Tsubasa was now free of his control as she stumbled forward and the strings around Kanade's body broke apart and released her.
As the Puppeteer Dopant stood up, Tsubasa turned to him with a glare on her face.
"How dare you use me!" Tsubasa said before she charges at the Dopant and sends her Blue Flash at him.
Blue Flash
The Puppeteer Dopant narrowly dodges it but Tsubasa manages to land two slashes which sends him stumbling towards the wall.
W had picked up his Metal Shaft as he pointed it at the Dopant.
"Saa, omae no tsumi o kazoero!" W said as he pulled out his Metal Memory.
[METAL]
W inserted the Memory into his Shaft's Maximum Drive slot.
[METAL: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
Green wind soon channels around the Metal Shaft, and W attacks the Puppeteer Dopant by swinging his Shaft while spinning around.
"Metal Twister!" W shouted before the Dopant exploded.
A now human, Horinouchi falls to the ground as his shattered Gaia Memory beside him.
W placed his Metal Shaft on his back and Tsubasa removed her dagger from Accel's shadow to free him. Horinouchi glared at them as he slowly sat up.
"You guys don't understand my suffering!" Horinouchi stated before he brought out a picture of his wife and daughter as he looked at it. "I've lost everything! My wife and…My daughter too…No one loves me."
Horinouchi begins to weep as he places the picture on his face, Kanade then walks to the despairing father's side.
"You have Rika-chan." Kanade told him.
Horinouchi turns to Kanade as she shows him the doll's face.
"She said, 'Otou-san, don't cry'." Kanade told him, leaving Horinouchi speechless. "A long time ago, I was just like you. I also know what it's like to lose everyone you care about, and how easy it is to be overcome with anger. But you're never alone. Trust me…"
Kanade then smiles at her friends.
"I can speak with experience." Kanade then offers him the doll.
Horinouchi accepted the doll as he held it in his hands before he sadly smiled at it while weeping and hugged the doll closely.
As Kanade looks at the weeping Horinouchi, she hears Rika's voice once again.
"Thank you, Onee-chan."
Kanade turns around and sees Rika standing behind her, Kanade then smiles at her.
"Thank goodness, Rika-chan." Kanade said before Rika had disappeared.
(Meanwhile)
In his clinic, both Isaka and Saeko were walking the hallway together.
"Wakana's power…Just what did you do to her?" Saeko asked.
"I adjusted her Driver. I used a method similar to stem cutting." Isaka told her.
"Stem cutting?!" Saeko said in both horror and shock.
"I mixed up the feelings of rage with the power of the Memory." Isaka said with a smile.
"But if you do that, eventually her mind…" Saeko said before Isaka stopped her by shushing.
Isaka then turns to Saeko.
"Do not be an ordinary person. The Driver is an obstruction for a Dopant." Isaka whispers to her ear and places a hand on her chest before he goes on. "As long as you rely on that…you won't obtain true power."
Isaka licks his lips before he leaves, Saeko was left wondering what to do.
(Next day)
After Mitsuki finished his report about yesterday's case, he, Philip, Kanade, and Chris had arrived at the Flower restaurant to have some okonomiyaki.
As they were eating Mitsuki narrated in his head.
"Did Kanade really hear the doll's voice? Philip said that if that's true, then the Puppeteer Gaia Memory had an effect on the doll. But I think…that doll really felt for Horinouchi…and came as a client to Kanade."
Philip slowly enjoys his okonomiyaki before he swallows, he then turns to Chris as she eats a piece of her own okonomiyaki.
"Hey, Chris-chan, I have a question." Philip said.
"What is it?" Chris said as she chewed her food.
"When Horinouchi attacks with that Commander Type, what did you mean by 'my man'?" Philip asked.
Chris nearly chokes on her food before she pounds on her chest and quickly drinks a cup of water and turns to Philip with a slight blush on her face.
"Nothing! I didn't mean anything by that!" Chris shouted.
"Are you sure?" Philip asked.
"Positive!" Chris stated, but…
"Actually…I'm madly in love with you Philip." Said Chris' voice.
Philip blinks to hear that as Chris' face fully turns red before she sees the Frog Pod was close to her plate, she then sees Kanade having a teasing grin on her face.
"You old hag…!" Chris growled before the Frog Pod jumped onto her head.
"My name is Yukine Chris! And I'm going to marry Philip one day!" The Frog Pod said.
Chris attempts to catch the Frog Pod to make it stop, but she misses as it begins to jump around in the building with Chris following it to catch it.
"Me and Philip! Sittin in a tree…K-i-s-s-i-n-g!" The Frog Pod said.
"Stop it!" Chris exclaimed as she continued to catch the Frog Pod as it continued to jump and played several more recordings with her own voice.
Kanade laughs to watch her while Philip was still left confused before he shrugged and went back to eating. Mitsuki also chuckled before he went back to eating his food.
"I don't know the truth. But that's fine. The word mysterious is very fitting for this city. Leave a beautiful mystery as a mystery. Nothing wrong with that."
Hibiki and Miku had arrived at the Narumi Detective Agency. They were standing in front of the door only to find it was replaced with a blue tarp with a sign saying.
'Under Repair'
"What happened to the door?" Hibiki said.
"I'm not sure…" Miku said.
