Case 21: The Weather of Calamity
The RevolGarry continues to race down the street and heads to Fuuto Tower, right where Hibiki and Miku were in the middle of a Noise attack.
"Hidari!"
W turned to the side and saw Accel in his Bike Form, had appeared as he drove next to the RevolGarry.
"Terui? What are you doing here?" W-Mitsuki asked.
"Don't question me! Besides, it's hard to ignore that attack just now. Care to explain what's going on?" Accel asked.
Before W could explain, they soon saw an explosion appearing inside of Fuuto Tower.
"Damn it! No time to explain! We need to move!" W-Mitsuki said as he sped up the Garry.
"Don't give me orders either!" Accel said as he sped up as well.
"Hibiki…Miku…Please be safe." W-Mitsuki prayed for the safety of his childhood friends.
(Bloody Stream by Coda)
(Instrumental)
(Mitsuki and Philip are seen walking together, Mitsuki putting on his hat and Philip closing his book, and they point at the screen before the title appears in front of them.)
(Shijima no soko kara…)
(Mitsuki is in his office going through his case files, before Kanade handed him a cup of coffee that he happily accepted.)
(Mezameru sono hashiratachi toki wo koe…)
(Philip was having his usual interesting research moment as he was writing on his whiteboards, before he accidentally wrote on Chris's face as she was walking towards him, Philip flinched before Chris slaps on his face. Then images of their friends and allies appeared one at a time.)
(Shinku no chishio ga…)
(Ryu is seen looking at his Accel Memory before he walks forward.)
(Tachiagaru yuuki wo hikiawaseru!)
(W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris are seen surrounded by Noise before they turn to each other and nodded before they charge at the Noise battling against them.)

(The mysterious Shroud is seen walking in a dark alley before she turns to the screen showing her white bandage covered face with black sunglasses.)

(The Nephilim is in its cage with Ver looking at it with an evil grin before the Nephilim roars. Then images of the Kamen Riders and Symphogear users' enemies appear one at a time, before finally showing Ryubee looking above the Gaia Well.)
(Yami wo azamuite setsuna wo kawashite! Yaiba surinuke yatusra no suki wo tsuke!)
(Shirabe wearing her black Symphogear armor fires from her head compartments, then to Kirika swinging her scythe around and finally to Maria wielding her lance as she uses her HORIZON†SPEAR attack.)
(Tsuranuita omoi ga mirai wo hiraku!)
(The three black Symphogear users are standing atop a stone pillar looking down upon W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris as they get ready for battle. Then an image of a younger Maria reaching out to her sister Serena appears, and then shows the present day Maria looking at Airgetlám in sadness before a teardrop falls from her eye and onto the pendent.)
(Like a Bloody Storm atsuku Like a Bloody Stone! Ketsumyaku ni kizamareta innen ni…)
(W in his Cyclone-Joker Form is seen doing some kicks and punches as he was spinning around, and changes into his Heat-Metal swinging his Metal Shaft around, and soon changes to his Luna-Trigger firing with his Trigger Magnum, and changes to his Fang-Joker attacking with his Arm Saber, and the final spin shows W in a new and unknown form.)
(Ukiagaru kienai hokori no kizuna nigirishimete!)
(Now both Kamen Riders and Symphogear users alike are seen standing side by side as the Nephilim in its final form looking down at them, as the floating city the Frontier raises to the moon.)
As smoke and flame started to appear on the damages on Fuuto Tower, Hibiki looked at the spot where she left Miku behind as she was processing Miku's apparent death.
"Miku…" Hibiku mutters before she falls on her hands and knees. "How could this happen?"
Hibiki's armor vanishes, and tears begin to fall from her eyes along with some stone fragments on her chest.
Then in Hibiki's despair the Noise soon approaches her from the air to attack from above and all sides.
Then appearing in Hibiki's rescue was the RevolGarry as it spun around Hibiki while smashing the Noise around into dust. Then the ones in the air were shot down by Chris' energy shots and the remaining Noise on the ground were cut down by Tsubasa and Accel's swords.
One of the Garry's eyes opened, and W jumped out of it and landed close to Hibiki.
"Hibiki!" W-Mitsuki said.
"Tachibana!" Tsubasa said as she turned to her.
Then W, Accel, and Tsubasa then saw several more Noises appearing around them, while the ones in the air were now above them.
Chris was running forward as she set her eyes on the airborne Noise.
"Leave the flyers to me!" Chris said before she jumped and gracefully landed on her feet and began to sing.
(Cue: Bye-Bye Lullaby)
Just as W, Accel, and Tsubasa began to battle the ground-type Noises, some of the flier Noises soon took the form of drills to attack them from above.
Chris soon brings out her missile pods and fires at the Noise as they begin to dive towards her friends.
Mega Deth Party
The missiles soon made contact and exploded, destroying them but then few more fliers head straight towards as they flew out of the smoke cloud.
'Little by little, things are becoming twisted. Becoming broken. Something's trying to get between me and the place I call home!' Chris thought as she ran to the side to avoid their attacks as they smashed into the ground.
Chris stops and soon brings out her gatling guns.
Billion Maiden
Chris then begins to fire at the fliers with her guns shooting down several of them.
'Who's the bastard behind this?!' Chris thought before she saw flier Noise heading straight towards her and she charged at it. 'Is it you?'
She then jumps over the Noise and fires her guns right on top of it turning into dust and breaking it apart into pieces before she lands on the ground.
'Or you?!' Chris shouted in her head before she fired at the fliers once again as they took the form of drills.
She then brings out her missiles to attack the Noise with them.
'I was the one who activated Solomin's Cane…Does everything always end up being my fault?' Chris thought as she continued to fire at the Noise with her guns and missiles.
After W kicks one Noise, he then turns to Chris and W-Philip notices the look in her eyes.
"Chris-chan?" W-Philip said before he dodged one Noise's attack. "Hey! I was in the middle of something."
W then kicks the Noise that just attacks and continues to battle the ones on the ground.
"I…I won't run away!" Chris shouted while singing as she brought out her two large missiles from her shoulders.
Mega Deth Fuga
She then fires her missiles at the two carrier-type Noises and destroys them as they explode.
Chris then took a moment to pant as she lowered her head.
Accel loads his Engine Memory into his Blade and pulls its trigger.
[ENGINE: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
Accel then fires his 'A' energy shot at the remaining Noise in front of him as they explode.
"Despair is your goal." Accel said.
Tsubasa then unleashes her Blue Flash at the Noise in front of her, destroying them.
[LUNA-TRIGGER]
W in his Luna-Trigger Form soon pulled out his Trigger Magnum and inserted his Trigger Memory into its Maximum Drive slot.
[TRIGGER: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
W soon aimed his Magnum at the remaining Noise in front of him as it charged up with energy.
"Trigger Full Burst!" W shouted as he fired his energy shots at the Noise, destroying them as they exploded.
With the battle won, W attaches his Magnum on his chest and turns to Hikibi.
"Hibiki!" W-Mitsuki said as he rushed towards Hibiki and knelt down to her and grabbed onto her shoulders. "Are you okay?"
W then notices that Miku was nowhere to be seen.
"Wait…Where's Miku?" He asked.
A tearful Hibiki looks at W.
"Mitsuki…Miku…Miku…She…" Hibiki weeps.
As he was trying to figure out what Hibiki was trying to say, W soon realizes something before he looks up at the damaged viewing area on top of Fuuto Tower and his eyes widened in horror as he now has a good idea what happened to Miku.
"No…No, not Miku…No." W-Mitsuki mutters to himself.
"Mitsuki!" Hibiki cries out before W turns to her and Hibiki begins to cry on his chest.
W grits his teeth in sadness and hugs Hibiki to help give her some comfort. W then remembers how his mentor, Natsumi Sokichi, had died in Begins Night.
'Damn it…It happened again…It happened again! Because I'm still too weak!' W-Mitsuki shouted in his head as he tightly clenched his hands.
"Mitsuki. Hibiki-chan." W-Philip said in worry for his friends.
(Later)
After things had calmed down, the police had soon arrived, and Ryu set up a crime scene to prevent civilians from entering to keep them safe.
"You two, I want the east wing secure, there's no telling if more Noise will appear. You three, I'm leaving you in charge of search and rescue until the medical team gets here." Ryu said.
"Yes, sir!" They nodded before they set out to do their assigned tasks.
"Excuse me."
Ryu turned around and saw Genjuro along with Ogawa and several members of their team were standing behind as they arrived in black cars.
"Who are you?" Ryu asked as he narrowed his eyes.
Genjuro approaches him and introduces himself.
"I'm Kazanari Genjuro. I'm sure you heard about me from Tsubasa and Chris." Ryu understood what he meant by that.
"I see. So you're the one in charge of Section Two, correct?" Ryu asked.
"I guess you really did your homework. But yes I am." Genjuro said.
"Then would you care to explain what exactly happened here?" Ryu asked.
"That's what we're here to figure out." Genjuro told him.
After Ogawa and some members of his team set out to learn what they can, Ryu was speaking with Genjuro on how to settle this incident and that's when they saw Ogawa approaching them and told them what he was able to gather.
"The Americans?" Genjuro said as he was surprised to learn this.
"They were here?" Ryu said as he was also surprised by this.
"There's no doubt. They got in touch with the FIS and tried to negotiate." Ogawa explained.
"And this disaster is the result?" Genjuro said.
"Seems like it." Ryu said as he looked at the damaged tower. "The negotiations must have failed and taken a dark turn. Which led to this."
"But whatever they were scheming, one would expect both parties would try to avoid attention." Ogawa said.
"Agreed." Ryu nodded. "If word got out, this would lead to an international incident. Something that would cause trouble for both parties. Someone else must be behind this."
"The FIS teaming up with them aside, now we have to deal with some third party as well?" Genjuro said as he knows that this is going to be a long day for him.
In one of Section Two's black cars, both Mitsuki and Hibiki were seated on the backseats. Hibiki had a saddened expression as she was still grieving about Miku, Mitsuki had an arm on her shoulders while the brim of his hat covered his eyes.
Hibiki then remembers Miku's crying face when she falls from the tower right before that explosion, Hibiki tightens the hold on her hands.
'I should have never let go. I should have held on to Miku's hand.' Hibiki thought to herself.
Although he can't hear her words, Mitsuki could tell what Hibiki was thinking right now.
'Hibiki…damn it. If only I was there with them, if only I kept them close to me!' Mitsuki thought to himself as he clenched his hand.
They then heard a knock on the door and heard a familiar voice.
"I brought you something warm to drink." They looked and saw it was Aoi holding a cup of coco in her hand for Hibiki. "It'll calm you down."
Hibiki slowly took the cup from her hand and Hibiki looked at it. Even though the coco was warm in her hands, it wasn't the same as Miku's as she began to cry once again.
"Hibiki-chan?" Aoi said.
"But the warmest thing I know…is gone." Hibiki said before she began to weep.
While Aoi turns away in sadness for Hibiki, Mitsuki holds her close to at least give her some comfort.
(Later, at sunset)
Maria, Nastassja, and Isaka had returned to their mobile base. But in her frustration, Maria punches on the window.
"I have stained my hands with blood. What hope is left for me, Serena?!" Maria said before she cried out in agony.
Kirika and Shirabe were looking in worry, Shirabe went back to set up the finishing touches for the spare wheelchair that Nastassja was now seating on.
"Tell us, Mom. What happened?" Shirabe asked.
Nastassja was about to tell them but then Ver entered the room and told them what happened.
"I believe I can elaborate on that. We believe that we should free humanity from the Moon as soon as possible, do we not? However, Nastassja tried to sell us out to the Americans."
Both Shirabe and Kirika were left stunned by this before Shirabe knelt down and placed a hand on Nastassja's hand.
"Mom…"
"Is that true?" Kirika asked, but Nastassja remained silent before Dr. Ver spoke out once again.
"And that's not all. The story they told about Finé's soul residing in Maria was nothing more than a grand deception." Dr. Ver then turns to Maria who lowered her head. "A charade born from the scheming of Nastassja and Maria."
Shirabe stood up as she and Kirika turned to Maria in shock to learn about this.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, girls." Maria told them.
"But if you're not Finé, then-" Kirika said.
"They only told this tall tale to win my cooperation." Dr. Ver said, getting their attention once again before he placed Solomin's Cane on the floor. "Don't you think that this betrayal of yours is going too far? We had only just retrieved the Nephilim's heart, and it was almost lost to us forever."
(Meanwhile)
Ogawa and his team moved to another location in the city a few miles away from Fuuto Tower.
Ogawa was standing beside a river before he spotted something within it and picked it up and saw it was a personal communicator used by Section Two members.
"This is…Call the Commander!" Ogawa called out and one of his subordinates responded.
"Yes, sir!"
(At night)
Chris and Tsubasa were now seated in a family restaurant. Chris was stuffing her face with pasta but Tsubasa didn't eat anything.
"Come on, eat up. My treat." Chris told her, and Tsubasa turned away from her.
"I refrain from eating past 9 PM." Tsubasa said.
"See, this is why you're such a drag." Chris said and Tsubasa turned back to her.
"What are you talking about?!" Tsubasa exclaimed before she stood up. "If we have nothing to discuss, I'm leaving!"
Chris looks up at her as she blinks with food in her mouth.
"Are you angry?" Chris asked.
"How could I be calm?! The FIS, Tachibana, and my own powerlessness when my comrades were in peril…It's unbearable." Tsubasa said before she sat back down and clicked her teeth.
"I only called you because I wanted to have dinner with you for once. I thought we might be able to have a heart-to-heart over some food." Chris said before she placed her fork on her now empty plate and then she used a toothpick to clean her teeth. "When did we get like this? We share the same goal, but we've split apart from each other. We should work together more and-"
"Yukine. If you want to talk heart-to-heart, you could at least call me by my given name. And you probably should've invited Philip instead of me." Tsubasa said and Chris blushed to hear that.
"What?" Chris said before her toothpick fell from her mouth. "Uh, that's…"
Tsubasa then stood up and left.
"Hey, wait!" Chris calls out but Tsubasa ignores her as she leaves the building.
Chris sighed before she leaned on her hand.
"So much for that heart-to-heart…But maybe this is for the best." Chris said before she remembered Tsubasa's words.
"You probably should've invited Philip instead of me."
Chris then remembers the memories she shared with Philip.
"Yeah…Maybe I should've." Chris mutters before she drinks her cup of coffee. "How bitter."
In the Narumi Detective Agency, Mitsuki was seated on his desk leaning on his elbows with his hands folded together.
Kanade was secretly spying on him and could tell that he was still grieving for Miku. She then heads to the hangar to check on Philip.
She then spotted Phillip standing on top of the RevolGarry and was reading his book.
"Philip." Kanade calls out and Philip blinks before he turns to her.
"Oh, Kanade, what is it?" Philip asked.
Kanade sighed before she turned to the door.
"It's Mitsuki. I'm really worried about him." Kanade said before Philip nodded and went back to heading his book.
"I see. But it makes sense, he's halfboiled like that." Philip said and Kanade turned to him in shock.
"What? How can you say that? I mean wasn't Miku your friend too? Don't you care about what just happened?" Kanade asked.
"Don't get me wrong, I am sad about it, I'm just better at hiding it." Philip answered before he closed his book. "Besides, I'm not entirely convinced that Miku-chan is dead yet."
Kanade blinks to hear that before Philip walks to the catwalk.
"What? But Hibiki said she was caught in an explosion after she fell." Kanade said.
"Yes, but that's from Hibiki-chan's point of view. While she and Mitsuki are convinced by this, I'm not going to rule out the possibility that Miku-chan didn't survive. Not until we know all the facts first." Phillip said.
In the Black Symphogear users' base, both Kirika and Shirabe were still processing what Dr. Ver just told them about the deception of Maria inheriting Finé's soul.
"Mom…Maria…What the doctor's saying is a lie, right?" Kirika asked.
"It's true. I am no host of Finé, and we have been having second thoughts about the plan to save mankind." Maria told them.
"But…" Shirabe said.
"Mom tried to get the Americans' help by sharing what we know about the Frontier." Maria explained.
Shirabe and Kirika then turn to Nastassja.
"But didn't the Americans only care about themselves?" Shirabe asked before Kirika stood up.
"And we stood against the world so that we could free mankind from the Curse of Balal!" Kirika said.
"If those negotiations succeeded, we would've lost the upper hand. That's why you summoned the Noise there and called upon Isaka to lay waste to the surroundings." Nastassja said and Ver smirks before he stood up and moved in front of her.
"Oh, please. I protected you from those wicked Americans…" Dr. Ver said before he pointed the Cane in front of Nastassja which made Shirabe and Kirika on-guard. "Using Solomon's Cane."
Both Shirabe and Kirika were ready to fight him, but to their surprise, Maria stood in front of them to protect Ver.
"Maria? Why?" Kirika asked as Ver lowered the Cane and laughed.
"I knew this would happen!" He said.
"You can't protect the world with half-hearted devotion. We can't fulfill Serena's wishes like this. Only force…Only through brute force can we maintain justice. Only the doctor's way can change the world. So, I'm with him!" Maria told them.
While surprised at first, both Shirabe and Kirika stand down and Dr. Ver chuckles.
'I don't want that.' Kirika thought before she turned to Shirabe. 'That very force would be used to oppress the weak.'
There was silence in the room before Nastassja spoke out.
"Very well." The others turn to her. "This is the decision of Maria Cadenzavna Eve herself, and not the false Finé, I trust?"
Maria showed Nastassja a determined look before she started to cough. Maria was about to move to check on her but chooses not to as Shirabe and Kirika did that instead.
"Are you all right?" Kirika asked.
"Leave the rest to me." Dr. Ver tells them as he moves to the door as it opens, Ver stops for a moment to turn to his allies. "You should rest well, Nastassja. Well then, I must devote myself to preparing for our plan. I have a dear guest of ours to attend to as well."
Dr. Ver leaves the room as the door closes.
In another room of their mobile base, Miku, who was alive and well, was seated inside a cage with energy bars around her.
"Hibiki…Mitsuki…" Miku said before she buried her face in her arms.
(Next day)
After being called upon by Genjuro, Mitsuki, Philip, Hibiki, Tsubasa, Chris, and Kanade had arrived at Section Two's base.
Hibiki was looking at the transmitter Ogawa had found in her hands.
"What's this?" Hibiki asked as the others looked at it as well.
"Miku-kun's transmitter. It was retrieved from a location some distance from Fuuto Tower." Genjuro told them before he moved to his own personal keyboard. "We analyzed its tracking data. Before it was disposed of, it moved away from the Tower at a steady speed."
Using his keyboard, Genjuro brings out a map that shows Fuuto Tower which has a line that reaches the location of Miku's transmitter.
Hearing that they soon realized something.
"Wait…Genjuro-san, are you saying that…" Mitsuki said.
"Yes. Miku-kun is alive. She was probably rescued by another party and is now being held hostage." Genjuro told him.
"Yes!" Kanade cheered as she clenched her hand.
"Isn't that great, Mitsuki?" Philip asked.
"Yeah…" Mitsuki mutters in relief before he leaned on a nearby table. "Thank god…She's still alive."
"Then, Shisho, that means-" Hibiki said before Genjuro turns and smiles at them.
"Time to stop feeling sorry for yourself and leap into action!" Genjuro said.
"Hai! This time, I'll save Miku!" Hibiki said but Mitsuki soon turned to her and spoke.
"No, you're sitting this one out."
Everyone then turns to the detective and Hibiki blinks in confusion to hear that.
"Huh? Mitsuki, what are you saying?" Hibiki asked.
"I said you're going to sit this out. I'll save Miku." Mitsuki told her.
"But Mitsuki, it was my fault that Miku was in this situation. So I'll get her…" Hibiki said but then Mitsuki interrupted.
"In case you've forgotten you're in condition to fight anymore." Mitsuki reminded her and Hibiki flinched. "Besides, even if I'll allow it, you'll just lose control of yourself again and endanger everyone around you, including Miku."
Hibiki lowered her head.
"Hey, Mitsuki…" Kanade was about to speak out but Tsubasa stops her by placing a hand on her shoulder.
"I agree. Besides, me, Mitsuki, Philip, Yukine, and Terui are more than enough to combat the enemy." Tsubasa said, and Hibiki turned to her.
"Tsubasa-san…" Hibiki mutters and Tsubasa turns away from her.
"Hibiki, I know this is tough to hear, but at this point you'll only just slow us down and get in the way. It's best for everyone if you just stay on the sidelines and let us handle everything." Mitsuki told her, but Hibiki only bit her and then she slapped Mitsuki on the cheek.
Everyone then saw tears forming on Hibiki's eyes while Mitsuki hides his eyes using his hat.
"Mitsuki…You baka!" Hibiki said before she ran out of the room.
The others watch her leave in worry, Philip then turns to his partner.
"Are you sure this is wise? She might hate you forever even after we save Miku-chan." Philip told him.
"It's fine. If it means protecting her, then I don't care if she hates me for it." Mitsuki stated.
"True. But tell me this…" Philip said, gaining his partner's attention as the bookworm narrowed his eyes at him. "Are you doing this simply to protect her or yourself?"
Mitsuki simply refused to answer and lowered his head, and Philip sighed in disappointment as he shook his head.
"Should've figured you wouldn't answer." Philip said.
Kanade looked at Mitsuki and understood that it was just his way of looking out for Hibiki and to keep her safe.
But still, all of this reminded Kanade that she was also powerless to do anything before she looked at her hand.
'Damn it…If only I'm able to fight again.' Kanade thought before she clenched her hand.
Tusbasa notices this as she looks at her former partner in worry.
"Kanade…"
(Meanwhile)
Maria was in the room where they're keeping Miku to watch over. She was looking at her sister's damaged pendant and singing their old childhood song.
"The apple floated in the big broad sky. The apple crashed down on the ground. The stars were born and then-" Maria stops when she notices that Miku was looking at her. "What is it?"
"Nothing." Miku said before she turned her head to the side. "Just…Thank you."
She then remembers the moment Maria had saved her life when the Noise attacked.
(Flashback)
Right after Hibiki fell to the ground, Maria smashed through the wall behind Miku using her drill as Isaka followed behind her.
Miku turns to them as they land in front of her.
As Maria stares at Miku and after seeing the ruins and flames around her, it reminded Maira of the day when her sister had died protecting others.
The floor began to shake beneath and was on the verge of exploding. Maria then reaches out her hand to Miku.
"Come with me if you want to live!" Maria offered.
"Oh?" Isaka said as he was deeply interested in this.
Miku was hesitant at first but after seeing no chances of escaping, she then stood up and moved to Maria to grab onto her hand.
Then Maria flew out of the Tower carrying both Miku and Nastassja in her arms with Isaka following behind them.
(End of flashback)
Maria then walks to Miku before she asks a question.
"Why did you save me?"
"Good question. I guess seeing you there reminded me of Serena, surrounded by flames." Maria answered.
"Serena?" Miku said in confusion.
"Her late younger sister." Said Dr. Ver as he entered the room.
"Doctor?" Maria said as she wondered why he's here.
Dr. Ver then looks at Miku which frightens her a bit knowing the kind of man he is.
"I was the one who saved her, but you ordered me to bring her back here. To what end?" Maria asked.
"To further our plans, naturally." Dr. Ver said before he knelt down to Miku who turned away from her. "Please, don't look so afraid. How about we have a little chat? I'm sure I'll be able to help you."
"Help me?" Miku said in confusion.
They heard the door opening once again and saw it was Isaka as he entered the room.
"Pardon the intrusion." Isaka said as he walked to them.
"Isaka-san? What are you doing here?" Ver asked.
Isaka then sets his sights on Miku which frightens her as she turns away from him.
"I wanted to check on this girl as well before I overheard what you said. But Dr. Ver, before you do anything I wish to conduct my own experiment with this girl." Isaka said and Miku was afraid to hear that.
"Your own experiment you say?" Dr. Ver said in suspicion.
"You have no reason to fear. I have no intention of taking her off your hands. It just this experiment solely involves W." Isaka said, and that caught Miku's attention as she turned to him.
'Mitsuki?' Miku thought.
"Oh, you don't say. But what experiment do you have in mind? I assume I'll benefit from this as well, correct?" Dr. Ver asked.
"But of course." Isaka nodded. "Here's what I have in mind…"
Mitsuki along with Kanade and Phillip had left the base and were heading back to the agency together.
"It's still good to hear that Miku is alive, but I still can't help but worry." Mitsuki said.
"Don't worry, I'm sure she's alright. Miku-chan is stronger than she looks, you should know that by now." Philip told him.
"I suppose that's true, but still…" Mitsuki said before he bumps into someone. "Oh, sorry about…Hmmm?"
Mitsuki then sees he bump into no one as he looks around the area before his friends turn to him.
"Mitsuki, what's wrong?" Kanade asked.
"I could have sworn I bump into someone just now." Mitsuki said.
"Huh? You're joking with me, right?!" Kanade said before she could feel a hand touching her butt, she turned around and saw Philip was standing behind her. "Philip, what the hell?!"
Kanade slaps him on the cheek, and Philip turns back to her in confusion as he rubs his hand on his now reddened cheek.
"Kanade, what was that for?" Philip asked.
"Don't play innocent with me buster! You were rubbing my butt just now!" Kanade accused the bookworm, but the bookworm only blinked in confusion.
"What are you talking about? I wasn't doing anything like that." Philip stated.
"Do you really think I'm stupid?!" Kanade exclaimed, Mitsuki was about to diffuse this situation before they heard a voice.
"Excuse me?"
The trio then looked around and saw that the voice came from no one.
"Oh, sorry. I'm right here." Said a woman as she suddenly appeared in front of them which surprised them.
They saw she was a young woman with shoulder-length black hair and eyes and was wearing a magician's outfit.
"Whoa! Who are you and where did you come from?" Mitsuki asked.
"I'm Lily Shirogane, and I need your help." She requested.
After taking Lily to the agency, they soon heard the full story from her, on how she's an assistant for her grandfather who's a famous magician but the part that really surprised them was…
"Eh? You're a Gaia Memory user?" Mitsuki asked, and Lily nodded.
"That's right."
"Well…this is certainly a first." Mitsuki said.
"Can you tell us what type of Memory it is?" Philip asked.
"Yes, it's called Invisible, and it lets me do this." Lily said before she turned invisible right in front of them which surprised them.
Philip brings out the Denden Sensor and uses its infrared mode to see Lily and sees that she's still in human form despite using a Gaia Memory. Lily smiles and waves at them.
"How strange. Normally, the moment it's inserted is when one transforms into a superbeing." Philip said before he hands Kanade the Sensor so she could see the invisible Lily herself. "But the ability to disappear comes after that."
"Then, Lily-san remained in her form while disappearing and reappearing…" Kanade said.
"This Memory is abnormal. It might be buggy." Philip stated before Lily became visible.
"It's alright. I really don't mind, I still have a lot of fun with it." Lily told them.
"Well, this is all fine and dandy, why do you need our help?" Mitsuki asked.
Lily lowered her head.
"You see…I often help with my grandpa's magic shows, but my own tricks aren't that good. But then I learned about Gaia Memories and when I found Invisible Memory, I started using it to make our tricks better. But then, the one who gave me this Memory came to my house. He said he was here for the money I owe him, but I couldn't pay right now. That's why I was looking for you so you can help me." Lily explained.
"Okay. I see your reason. It's because our agency is specialized for cases like this." Mitsuki said.
"Exactly…He said he'll only call it off, if I bring you to him." Lily told them, which really surprised them.
"What? Why us?" Mitsuki asked.
"He didn't give me the details. He said he wants you, Terui Ryui, Kazanari Tsubasa, and Yukine Chris." Lily said.
Mitsuki, Philip, and Kanade turn to each other before they turn back to Lily.
"Is there a reason for that?" Mitsuki asked.
"Well…He did tell me to give you this message. Kohinata Miku." Lily said which surprised them once again.
In their mansion, the Sonozaki family ate a meal together in the dining room. But despite that, Wakana had an annoyed look on her face as she tapped her finger on the table.
"Tch."
Saeko notices this before she stands up and turns to her father.
"Alright, I am going out, Otou-sama." She said.
"Okay." Ryubee said.
"Tch." Wakana clicks her tongue once again before Saeko leaves the room. "She's going to see Isaka again, isn't she? Just what does she see in that man?"
Still enraged at how Isaka had turned her into the Puppeteer Dopant's mindless puppet, Wakana crashed the teacup in her hands, shattering it into pieces.
Ryubee turns to his second daughter in concern for her as she tries to avoid eye contact from her father as the maids move to clean up her mess.
"Wakana, are you okay?" Ryubee said before one of the maids gave Wakana a handkerchief to clean her hands.
"Lately, there have been times when I can't control my own strength." Wakana told him.
"That sounds like the symptoms of an out-of-control Memory. But you should be safe if you use a Driver." Ryubee said before Wakana returned the handkerchief.
"Speaking of which, I once entrusted mine to Isaka-sensei." Wakana told her father and Ryubee was a bit concerned to hear that.
"I cannot overlook this." Ryubee said as he plans on meeting the doctor himself.
After leaving the agency, Mitsuki had arrived in a spot that was close to the area where the man who gave Lily Shirogane her Gaia Memory. Before he could go and face him, Mitsuki was waiting on some people as he was leaning on his bike.
He heard the sounds and motorcycle engines, he looked and saw it from Tsubasa and Ryu riding on their respective bikes with Chris riding behind Tsubasa.
They soon stopped close to Mitsuki and got off their bikes.
"Good, you made it in time." Mitsuki said.
"Well, you made it sound urgent." Tsubasa said.
"Care to explain why you brought us out here, Hidari?" Ryu asked.
"Well…It's mostly because of her." Mitsuki said before he turned to his side, and they looked but saw no one.
"Her?" Chris said in confusion.
Then appearing behind Tsubasa, Chris, and Ryu was an invisible Lily as she became visible.
"I'm over here actually!" Lily shouted which surprised them as they turned her and Mitsuki was surprised by this.
"Seriously?" Mitsuki said.
"Mitsuki, who is this?" Tsubasa asked.
"It's a bit of a long story. But the short version is, this is Lily-san, she's my client, an invisiblewoman, and a Dopant." Mitsuki told them which surprised them.
"A Dopant? Her?" Chris asked as she pointed at Lily.
Ryu brings out his handcuffs.
"Are you nuts, Hidari? There needs to be a limit to your naivete!" Ryu said as he grabbed onto Lily's wrist to put the cuffs on her.
Mitsuki stops him as he grabs onto Ryu's wrist.
"Wait, Terui! Right now, she's my client, and I have to help her. Not only that, but she's also our key to saving Miku." Mitsuki told him.
They were surprised by this before Lily pulled down her eyelid and stuck out her tongue at Ryu.
Mitsuki was walking with his friends and Lily to meet with this Gaia Memory dealer, as they were walking Mitsuki had told them the full story.
"I see, so Lily-san is being forced to cooperate with this dealer to draw us out, right?" Tsubasa asked and Mitsuki nodded.
"That's what I figure too. Since he knows Miku's name, he must know who has her." Mitsuki said.
"So, all we have to do is to beat the crap out of him until he tells us where she is." Chris said.
"But all we could know this is just a set up." Ryu stated.
"I know. But if there's a small chance we'll find and rescue Miku, we have to take it." Mitsuki said before they stopped.
"This is the place." Lily told them before they looked at the meeting spot and it was a restaurant.
They soon enter the restaurant and when they walk to the dining room, they can hear someone playing the piano before they enter the room and look at the pianist.
It was Isaka playing the piano.
"Is that him?" Mitsuki asked and Lily nodded.
Isaka stops playing before he looks at the Riders and Symphogear users and smiles at them.
"Ah, you arrive just in time." Isaka said as he stood up, and they were on guard against him.
"So, you're the one who gave Lily-san her Memory?" Mitsuki asked and Isaka nodded.
"Indeed I am." He answered.
"And…You know about Miku, right?" Mitsuki asked once again.
"Yes." Isaka nodded once again.
"But…How can I know that for sure? Do you have any proof?" Mitsuki asked.
Isaka then brings out his phone and calls someone with it, and they soon answer.
"It's me. Show the girl the phone." Isaka told them, he then showed his phone to them to show Miku who was now on the screen.
Seeing that surprised the Riders and Symphogear users.
"Miku!" Mitsuki said.
"Mitsuki!" Miku shouted through the phone before Isaka ended the video call and put his phone away.
"I'm afraid that's all I can show you for the moment." Isaka told him and Mitsuki angrily glared at him.
"Kisama! I swear if you harm one hair on her head…!" Mitsuki said as he was about to charge at the doctor, but Tsubasa stops him by placing her arm in front of him.
"Mitsuki, calm down! I'm worried about Kohinata too, but you can't let him provoke you." Tsubasa told him, and Mitsuki gritted his teeth before he lowered his head and Tsubasa lowered her arm and turned to Isaka.
"Indeed, there's no reason to lose your temper. She's currently with Maria Cadenzavna Eve's group, but I can guarantee they have no intentions of harming her." Isaka said.
"Yeah, I wouldn't call that reassuring." Chris said, and Isaka chuckles.
"I suppose that's true. Which is why I'm going to give you this proposition." Isaka said.
"A proposition? Of what?" Tsubasa said.
"Oh, that's simple really. You see, while my interests align with Maria and her colleagues' grand goal, I can't exactly say I'm a devotee of it. But then again, I'm under no obligation to help you either. Which is why I'll suggest this…the four of you will fight against me." Isaka said.
"What? You seriously call us here for a fight?" Mitsuki asked.
"Indeed. All you have to do is defeat me, and I promise I'll do everything in my power to return Kohinata Miku to you alive and well." Isaka told them.
"But why us though?" Tsubasa asked.
"Well…this may sound childish for my age, but I've wanted to test my powers against you for some time. And I especially wanted to see…you." Isaka said as he set his sights on Ryu.
Ryu blinks in confusion on why he's staring at him, and Isaka smiles at him.
"Yes, there's no doubt about it. You greatly resemble Terui Ryuji." Isaka said and they were surprised to hear that.
"Terui Ryuji?" Tsubasa said.
"Wait…Isn't he…" Chris said as she turned to Ryu.
"Why…do you know my father's name?" Ryu asked, and Isaka smiled before he went into his pocket.
"Because I met him. Last August." Isaka answered as he brought out his Weather Memory.
[WEATHER]
"Weather…" Mitsuki said, and Ryu soon realized who Isaka was to him as he looked at the Memory.
"The W Memory!" Ryu said before he looked at Isaka. "So you're…!"
Ryu then remembers how his family died. Ryu then moves to Isaka with the intent of avenging his family, Isaka then inserted his Gaia Memory into his ear to transform into his Dopant form.
Acting quickly, Mitsuki brings out his Bat Shot and uses it to take pictures of Isaka.
Then when the Weather Memory went into his body, Isaka transforms in front of Ryu, in his transformation Isaka brings forth a burst of wind around his body which sends Ryu flying before he falls to the floor.
"Terui!" Mitsuki said in worry before he, Tsubasa, and Chris saw Isaka's Dopant form.
His body was colored black with white armor pieces around his body along with white boots. He also had some gold-colored pieces on his armor with gold gloves and a belt that has two dragon heads on each end of it. He also had a black visor with a golden headpiece on his forehead and a black ponytail on the back of his head.
This is the Weather Dopant.
The Weather Dopant then turns to Mitsuki, Tsubasa, and Chris before he brings out an icy mist that freezes the entire room along with the items inside as it heads towards them.
Mitsuki quickly inserts the Joker and Cyclone Memories into his Driver while Tsubasa and Chris sing.
"Henshin!"
"Imyuteus Ame no Habakiri Tron…"
"Killiter Ichaival tron…"
After transforming into W, the dual-theme Rider grabs onto Lily to protect her from the mist and after changing into their armor Tsubasa uses her large sword to block against Chris standing behind her.
They then saw the Weather Dopant flying in the mist as he left the building.
"Stop right there!" W said as he followed the Dopant and Tsubasa and Chris followed him.
W along with Tsubasa and Chris had followed the Dopant outside before they stopped as he was now nowhere to be seen.
"Where did he go?" W-Mitsuki said as he and his friends looked for the Dopant.
"We should be careful. We don't know the full extent of his powers yet." Tsubasa said as she prepared her sword and Chris pointed her guns forward.
"Wise words from someone so young."
They turned around and saw the Weather Dopant was standing in the middle of their circle.
While surprised at first, W attacks first as he kicks at the Weather Dopant but he easily blocks and avoids his kicks before he pushes W to the ground.
The Weather Dopant then dodges some sword slashes from Tsubasa and avoids gunfire from Chris as he jumps back a few feet away.
"Think you're so fast, don't you? Then let's see how you'll dodge this!" Chris said before she brings out missiles and fires the Dopant with them.
Mega Deth Party
Despite the missiles heading towards him, the Weather Dopant simply huffed and used his powers to shoot out several bolts of lightning at the missiles as they exploded.
"No way!" Chris said in shock before she saw a dark storm cloud above her.
With that the Weather Dopant swung his hand down and a large bolt of lightning fell down above Chris and she soon screamed in agony before the cloud disappeared and Chris fell to the ground.
"Yukine!" Tsubasa said in worry before the Weather Dopant moved in front of her.
"You should be more concerned about yourself."
Tsubasa glares at him before she slashes at him several times, but the Weather Dopant dodges her attacks before he catches her sword.
"I wonder, how durable is that armor of yours?" The Weather Dopant said before he uses his powers to heat up Tsubasa's sword as it lit up red, and the sword was hot enough to burn through Tsubasa's gloves and burn onto her hands which her to scream in pain as she was forced to let go of her sword and steps away from the Dopant.
Tsubasa then saw the burns on her hand which left her in shock.
'Impossible…He's able to burn through my armor?!' Tsubasa thought before he saw the Weather Dopant aiming his hand in front of her face.
The Weather Dopant fired a tornado in front of Tsubasa which sent her flying before she crashed into a wall and fell to the ground.
"Tsubasa!" W-Mitsuki said before he stood up and charged at the Dopant to attack him once again.
W kicks at him two times but the Weather Dopant dodges his attacks before he blocks a third kick and blocks an incoming punch, W throws in another punch but the Weather Dopant avoids it by pushing W beside him and pushes him away as W rolled on the ground before he stops on his knee and foot.
W soon removes his Joker and Cyclone Memories and brings out his Heat and Metal Memory.
[HEAT]
[METAL]
W soon inserts both Memories into his Driver to change into his Heat-Metal form as he stands up.
[HEAT-METAL]
W soon pulls out his Metal Shaft and charges at the Dopant to attack him with it, but the Weather Dopant avoids his attacks before he blocks one attack with his shin.
He then pushes W's Shaft away and punches him on the chest. W attacks the Weather Dopant with his Shaft once again, but he dodges his attacks before he lands a kick on W which sends him rolling on the ground.
"You've done it now!" W-Mitsuki said as he stood up and pulled out his Metal Memory and inserted it into his Metal Shaft.
[METAL: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
W swung his Metal Shaft forward and flames soon appeared on both ends of it.
"Metal Branding!" W shouted before he swung his Metal Shaft to throw his flames at the Weather Dopant.
Despite the flames heading towards him, the Weather Dopant stood his ground and brought forth his cold mist to extinguish and pushed back W's attack.
"Nani?!" W said in shock as he stood his ground against the mist before it sent him to the ground once again.
"No way…" Chris mutters in shock to see that.
"He's able to push back a Maximum Drive attack?" Tsubasa said in shock as well.
"The Maximum didn't work on him!" W-Mitsuki said as he slowly stood up while the Weather Dopant approached him. "Then…we need another Maximum!"
W-Mitsuki pulls out the Heat Memory to use it but W-Philip spoke out against this.
"Don't be reckless, Mitsuki! Twin Maximum is dangerous!"
"Then what should we do?!" W-Mitsuki asked.
[JET]
"Huh?" W-Mitsuki said before he saw an energy shot heading towards the Dopant and he dodged it by jumping.
Everyone then saw it was Accel armed with Engine Blade before he pulled the trigger of his Blade.
[ENGINE: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
Accel's visor lit up as he was ready to attack.
"Let's shake it off!" He shouted before he charged at the Weather Dopant.
Then moving in front of the Weather Dopant to protect him was Lily before she became visible and faced Accel.
"Stop!" Lily pleaded.
Accel stopped and Tsubasa and Chris stood back up.
"What are you doing?" Tsubasa asked.
"Stop screwing around! Get out of the way!" Accel exclaimed.
Lily then turns to the Weather Dopant and grabs onto his arm.
"Please! I've done what you ask, fix my Memory! Please fix it so I can properly use it!" Lily pleaded and the Weather Dopant turned to her.
Everyone was left shocked by this.
"What? I thought he was forcing you to help him." Tsubasa said.
"So you were lying to us?!" Chris said.
"I need to use it or I'm in trouble!" Lily told them before she turned back to the man who gave her the Invisible Memory.
"But of course. I am a man of my word. I'll be sure to thoroughly examine that body." The Weather Dopant said as he traced his hand in front of her body.
The Weather Dopant turns back to the Riders and Symphogear users and raises his hand to create a dark cloud that completely covers the sky as bolts of lightning appear and shoot down.
Lily covered her ears as the lightning shot down around the Riders and Symphogear users, they managed to avoid them. Then when the dark cloud disappeared, they soon saw that both Lily and the Weather Dopant were now gone.
"Damn it!" W-Mitsuki said.
"They got away." Tsubasa said.
Accel tightly clenches his hand as he growls in rage, he then roars and smashes his Engine Blade on the ground making a large crack.
After the Weather Dopant and his accomplice Lily got away, the Riders and Symphogear users had returned to the Narumi Detective Agency.
They were in the hangar as Philip used the Gaia Library to learn all he could find about Isaka and wrote them down on his whiteboards.
"The serial freezing cases that shook Fuuto…and the true culprit behind the slaughter of the Terui family. The W Memory is…Weather." Philip said and that got Ryu's attention. "Weather allows one to control the weather. If one of its abilities is to freeze, then that would explain things. Around the same time, there were also deaths from electrocution, drowning…"
"And burning…Right?" Tsubasa said as she looked at the bandages on her hands after treating the burns on them.
"Correct. These serial murders occurred around the same week." Philip said.
"That…was all done by that man?" Mitsuki said.
"And by using one Memory too. Man, it's just one problem after another." Chris said as she rubs her hand on her head.
"Good work." Ryu said before he walked to the printer to take a picture of Isaka that just printed. "That's all I need to know."
Ryu was about to leave and search for Isaka but Kanade stops him by grabbing onto his arm.
"Ryu, wait, we need to save Lily-san from him." Kanade said and Ryu pulled his arm free.
"Don't joke! Why do I have to save someone who wants to be with that criminal?!" Ryu exclaimed.
He then heads to the door to leave, Mitsuki sighed before he calls out to Ryu.
"Hey, Terui! Where are you going?!"
"Wait!" Philip calls out. "You'll just get killed if you're by yourself."
Ryu stops and turns to them.
"What?" Ryu said.
"A single Maximum Drive can't beat him. We need to work together!" Philip told him.
"Be killed? That's fine by me! I don't care what happens as long as I avenge my family. I don't mind even dying!" Ryu told them.
"You don't mind dying?" Mitsuki said before he walked and Ryu grabbed onto his jacket. "You're the only one who thinks that! Look around you! There are people who are worried about you."
"Are you really in any position to lecture me? In case you've forgotten, he knows where your friend is. Aren't you angry about that?!" Ryu exclaimed.
"Of course, I am!" Mitsuki shouted. "I'm worried to death about her…Her and Hibiki."
Mitsuki lowered his head and tightly clenched his hand before he raised his head and looked at Ryu in the face.
"But I'm not going to let my anger cloud my judgment. And I'll be damned if I let you do the same, because trust me, I won't be happy if you end up dying for nothing." Mitsuki said.
Ryu then grabs onto his hand.
"Just shut up." Ryu said as he removed Mitsuki's hand off of his jacket. "I don't have time to be calmed down by you!"
Ryu then leaves the room, leaving the others a bit disappointed.
"I guess he's back to how he was when we first met him." Kanade said as she rubbed the back of her head.
"He's finally found the target of his revenge. Well…he can't help it." Mitsuki said before he heads to the door to leave as well.
"Wait, Mitsuki!" Philip calls out and Mitsuki stops and turns to him. "Let me warn you just in case. Now that Terui Ryu is acting like that, you need to be especially careful."
"Oh, be quiet!" Mitsuki said in annoyance as he walked to his partner. "Are you my mom?!"
Philip was silent before Mitsuki chuckles and smiles at him.
"I get it. I won't be reckless. Partner." Mitsuki said as he brought his fist in front of Philip.
Philip smiles and fist bumps with Mitsuki.
In the police station, Ryu was seated in his division's office and was soon given a file about Isaka as he read it.
"Physician Isaka Shinkurou, 42 years old. It's him." Ryu said before he closes the file and slams it on his desk.
Ryu soon stands and heads to the door to confront Isaka, but he bumps into Mikio who was carrying some files as they fall to the floor.
Both Mikio and Shun cried before they knelt down to gather and pick up the files. Ryu saw that the files was about Lily along with her father.
"Documents about that woman's family?" Ryu asked.
"The circumstances are pretty tragic." Mikio said before he and Shun stood up, Mikio told the details about Lily and her family. "Her father's name is Frank Shirogane, a famous magician. His successor, his son, and his wife died in an accident. It seems like he entrusted all of his magic to his granddaughter, Lily. It seems he's been desperately training her. Seems she has been through harsh training since she was a child."
Mikio then begins to weep after telling this story and Shun gives him a handkerchief to wipe away his tears and blow on his nose.
"Who cares about that city garbage?" Ryu said as this won't stop him from getting his revenge.
Mitsuki, Tsubasa, and Chris left the agency to search for Isaka himself. Chris was looking at their own copy of Isaka.
"Hmmm…I could've sworn I've seen this guy before." Chris said before Tsubasa looked at the photo as well.
"I would say that you're overthinking it, but I feel the same as well." Tsubasa said.
"Merry Christmas!"
They looked and saw Santa-chan approaching as he was walking with crutches as he had a cast around his leg.
"Oh, Santa-chan! Huh? What's wrong with your leg?" Mitsuki said as he and his friends looked at it.
"I had a part-time job cleaning windows when…" Santa-chan said before he uses sounds and expressions of him flying and falling. "The hospital bill is pretty harsh."
"But at least it's better than…Wait, hospital." Tsubasa said before she and Chris finally remembered now.
"That's it, Mitsuki! It's that doctor we took Yukiko-san to!" Chris said.
Mitsuki took the picture and looked at it, he soon remembered him as well as he shouted out.
(Meanwhile)
In his clinic, Isaka was examining Lily's invisible body as her Gaia Memory was pulsating within her. Watching him work was Saeko as she was leaning on the wall.
Isaka turns to Saeko as he notices the look she was giving him.
"What scary eyes. This is medical treatment, Saeko-kun. She needs me to hurry, so please wait." He told her.
"Is that pathetic Dopant more important than me?" Saeko asked.
Isaka simply smirks.
"Right now, yes." Isaka told her.
Furious about this, Saeko grabs onto a pencil cup on the table and throws it at the Invisible Dopant which woke her up.
"Ow!"
Saeko moves to some nearby curtain and uses them to cover herself from the Invisible Dopant. Isaka chuckles before he moves and sits down on his computer chair.
"It's okay now. I've suppressed the problems with the Memory. Please make yourself appear." Isaka told her.
"Really?" Lily said before she snaps her fingers and she becomes visible, she then smiles in joy to see this.
Lily looks at her hands before she sits up. She then snaps her fingers to turn herself invisible again and snaps them again to make herself visible.
"I did it!" Lily said before she turned to the doctor in gratitude. "I can appear and disappear at will!"
"The Memory is still in your body, but it shouldn't be a problem." Isaka said.
Then the door opened and the one behind it was Ryu. Isaka and Lily turn to him while Saeko spies while still hiding behind the curtains.
"It's him…Accel." Saeko said.
"Inspector. You're here to arrest me, right?" Lily said before Ryu looked at her.
"You're in the way, woman. Disappear from my sight!" Ryu told her as he and Lily turned back to Isaka.
Lily stood up and grabbed onto her jacket and used her powers to disappear. She quickly leaves the room as she bumps into Ryu, but Ryu didn't bother to chase after her as he was only here for Isaka alone.
"I've finally found you. The man with the W Memory who took everything from me! Isaka…Shinkurou!" Ryu said, and Isaka sighed as he folded his hands and crossed his legs.
"My, my. Looks like I will have to part from this hospital. What a pity. Just what you would expect from a policeman's son. Terui…Ryu-kun." Isaka said.
"You even know my name?!" Ryu asked.
"Terui Ryuji continued to yell it out when he died." Isaka told him, and Ryu's eyes widened to hear that.
Isaka then remembers the day when he killed Ryu's family.
(Flashback)
Isaka was inside the Terui's house as Ryuji stood in front of Isaka to protect his wife and daughter as they stood behind him.
"Tou-san!"
"Anata!"
Isaka coldly stares at them before he pressed the button on his Gaia Memory.
[WEATHER]
Isaka uses his Memory to change into his Dopant form.
"At least spare my wife and daughter!" Ryuji pleaded but the Weather Dopant ignored it.
"I can't waste this opportunity." The Weather Dopant said before he uses his power to throw his cold mist at Ryu's family to freeze them.
Ryuji then hugs onto his wife and daughter as their bodies begin to freeze up.
"Ryu! Ryu!"
(End of flashback)
Isaka then stood up from his chair.
"Terui Ryuji was a policeman who learned of the existence of the Gaia Memories…" Isaka said as he turned away from Ryu and took a few steps forward before turning back to the young avenger. "But honestly, I would have killed anyone back then. As long as I could test out my abilities."
That only helped fuel Ryu's anger as he finally heard enough from him.
"Prepare to die. Isaka. I can't control myself." Ryu told him as he brought out his Accel Memory.
[ACCEL]
"Hen…shin!" Ryu then inserted his Memory into his Driver.
[ACCEL]
Ryu twists on the handlebars and transforms into Accel, he is now ready to exact his revenge on the man who took everything from him.
"Can't control yourself?" Isaka said before he smiled at Accel. "That's good…I can't either."
Isaka then brings out his Weather Memory.
[WEATHER]
He then inserted the Gaia Memory into his ear and transformed into his Dopant form.
Both Accel and the Weather Dopant stare at each other as they are both ready to fight. Saeko smiles as she looks at the Weather Dopant.
Accel and the Weather Dopant outside as they were standing under a bridge with Accel rolling on the ground.
Accel quickly stood back up and punches at the Dopant, but he parries his attacks and punches Accel in the face.
Accel was about to throw a kick, but the Weather Dopant stops it with his own kick before he dodges two punches from Accel and lands a punch on the Red Rider's chest.
Accel then throws in a kick and two punches, but the Weather Dopant easily blocks them and lands his own punch on Accel's stomach.
In their battle, Mitsuki along with Tsubasa and Chris had arrived.
"Philip!" Mitsuki calls out as he brings out the Double Driver.
"Yeah! Fight with Terui Ryu!" Philip said before he and Mitsuki brought out the Cyclone and Joker Memories.
[CYCLONE]
[JOKER]
Both Mitsuki and Philip strike their pose.
"Henshin!"
Both Tsubasa and Chris sing and change into their armor before Mitsuki transforms into W as they jump in and charge at the Weather Dopant.
As Accel was forced to stumble back, W throws his own punch at the Weather Dopant, and he dodges it and pushes W to Accel before he dodges some slashes from Tsubasa along with some gunfire from Chris.
"You're in the way! Get lost!" Accel exclaimed as he pushed W away and brought out his sword to slash on his chest.
As the Weather Dopant blocks a slash from Tsubasa with his arm, both her and Chris turn to the Riders.
"What the…" Tsubasa said.
"Just what is he doing?!" Chris asked before the Weather Dopant pushed Tsubasa's sword away and fired a lightning bolt at Chris which she dodged in time.
"What are you doing?!" W-Mitsuki asked before Accel moved towards him.
"Don't butt in! I'm going to defeat him!" Accel stated as he grabbed onto W's shoulder, and he soon removed it.
"We're no match for him unless we work together." W-Philip told him.
"Are they seriously arguing in a battle?" Chris said before she dodges a punch from the Weather Dopant. "Alright, you bastard, let's see you block this!"
Chris then brings out her gatling guns to fire at the Dopant, but the Weather Dopant unleashes his cold mist at her, forcing Chris to block with both of her guns.
The mist fades away and Chris then both of her guns were now frozen solid much to her shock.
"No way!" Chris said.
The Weather Dopant huffed before he saw Tsubasa sending her Blue Flash attack at him.
Blue Flash
"Oh please." The Weather Dopant said as he uses a tornado to fan Tsubasa's attack away.
Tsubasa grits her teeth.
"Damn it…How can he be this powerful with just one Memory?" Tsubasa said.
Chris blinks to hear that before she remembers that the Weather Memory was colored silver.
'Wait…Could his Memory be similar to the gold ones?' Chris thought.
The Weather Dopant then uses his powers to entrap both Chris and Tsubasa as they lift them both up and smash into the bridge above them, then he slams both of them to the ground.
"Now then, how about you two stay down while I tend to some other business." The Weather Dopant said as he turned to W and Accel as they continued to argue.
"Mitsuki…Terui…Behind you!" Tsubasa calls out as she raises her head.
Both Riders turn to the Weather Dopant before he grabs both of them by the neck. The Weather Dopant then emits heat around his body to burn both W and Accel before he lifts up both Riders above the ground.
The Weather Dopant then throws both Riders away as they roll on the ground.
As W and Accel slowly stood back up, the Weather Dopant unleashed his icy mist as it moved towards the Riders.
Acting quickly, Accel loads his Engine Memory into his Blade.
[ENGINE]
[JET]
W quickly changes to his Heat Memory to change into his Heat form.
[HEAT-JOKER]
Both Riders use their fire abilities to shield themselves from the icy mist.
"I can't keep up with the Memory changes!" W-Mitsuki said.
The Weather Dopant fires several bolts of lightning at them. Accel pulled on his Blade's trigger again.
[ELECTRIC]
Accel then uses the electricity around his sword to block Weather's attack.
W then changes to his Trigger Memory to change forms.
[HEAT-TRIGGER]
W soon pulls out his Trigger Magnum to fire at the Weather Dopant as his lightning hits on his body.
"It's amazing that he can use so many abilities at the same time." W-Philip said.
The Weather Dopant swats away W's gunfire and sends a tornado at both Riders which sends them flying before they fall and roll on the ground.
As the Riders and Symphogear users slowly try to stand back up, the Weather Dopant walks forward.
"People and Memories seek each other out. I wasn't satisfied with a single ability, so…I found Weather, which controlled many powers. But it's still not enough! Thanks to my research, I can evolve by absorbing various Memories' abilities. Very soon, I will also be able to become invisible." The Weather Dopant said as he rubs his hands together.
"Don't tell me…Lily Shirogane is…" W-Philip said in realization.
"That's right. She's my latest lab rat. I adjusted the Invisible Memory to lock inside her body."
(Meanwhile)
Lily had returned home where her grandfather had scolded her for being away for so long.
"You fool. Where did you go?!" He said.
Lily then felt something wrong with her body, but she thought it was nothing as she moved to the kitchen.
"I just overdid it with the training. But…it's okay now." Lily said before she turned to her grandfather as he was practicing his magic trick. "Grandpa, please trust your last stage…to me."
Lily felt her body acting up again before she turned away and leaned on the kitchen counter.
"At this rate, it'll use up all of her life energy, and she'll die. Leaving behind a Memory that I will be able to use. That's all I want." The Weather told them.
"Bastard…!" Chris said as she glared at him.
"We're not going to let you get away with this!" Tsubasa said.
"Also, W." The Weather Dopant said getting W's attention. "You should know, I'm deeply interested in your friend, Tachibana Hibiki. She's truly a fascinating specimen. I can't wait to study her corpse after the relic inside her consumes her body completely."
"That's bullshit! I'll never let either of those happen!" W-Mitsuki said as he stood up but fell on his knees.
"It's no use. If you do a Memory Break on Lily Shirogane, she'll just die." The Weather Dopant told him.
Accel manages to stand back up and throws his Engine Blade to the ground. Accel soon pulls out his Driver before he roars and charges at the Weather Dopant.
"Don't be reckless, Terui!" Tsubasa told him.
Accel then changes to his Bike Form and attacks the Weather Dopant with his front wheel, but he easily catches the wheel in his hand and punches Accel to the ground, knocking him out of his Bike Form.
As Accel rolls on the ground, his Memory falls to the ground as well before he reverts to his civilian form.
"What a beautiful Gaia Memory. Someone using a purified Memory and Driver has no chance of defeating me." The Weather Dopant told Ryu as he glared at him. "I'll let you die the same way your family did."
The Weather Dopant then prepares his cold mist to kill Ryu the same way he did to his family. Ryu then grits his teeth in frustration.
"Even though he's before my eyes…!" Ryu shouted before he punches on the ground and screams, and then a tear falls on top of his hand.
"Terui…" W-Mitsuki said as he looks at him.
He then remembers the memories he shared with Hibiki and Miku, when they first met as children and when they grew up and played together. Then he remembers how Hibiki had slapped him the other day all because he wanted to keep her safe.
W-Mitsuki chuckles.
"I guess in the end…I'm not so different from Hibiki." He said before he stood up and removed his Trigger Memory.
[TRIGGER]
W then loads the Memory into his Trigger Magnum.
[TRIGGER: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
The Weather Dopant then turns to W.
"It's no use! You can't stop this attack!" The Weather Dopant stated.
W-Mitsuki breathes out before he pulls out the Heat Memory to insert into his belt's Maximum Drive Slot, but W-Philip stops him by grabbing onto his hand.
[HEAT]
"What are you doing?! Stop it, Mitsuki! We can't do a Twin Maximum! If you do that, your body…Mitsuki!" W-Philip told him.
"If it means protecting Hibiki and saving Miku along with Lily-san, then I don't care what happens to me!" W-Mitsuki shouted.
"Stop it! Please stop!" W-Philip pleaded.
W-Mitsuki pushes W-Philip's hand away and inserts the Heat Memory into the belt's Maximum Drive Slot.
[HEAT: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
But then something went wrong as his Driver continued to shout out.
[MAXIMUM DRIVE MAXIMUM DRIVE MAXIMUM DRIVE MAXIMUM DRIVE MAXIMUM DRIVE MAXIMUM DRIVE MAXIMUM DRIVE MAXIMUM DRIVE]
W roared as his body was set on fire and unleashed a burst of flames before his friends looked at him and the Weather Dopant was intrigued by this.
