Case 23: The Sleeping Princess and the Out of Control Horse
Days after the Invisible Dopant case, Mitsuki, Philip along with their friends and Ryu were in the hangar in the Narumi Detective Agency. Philip is seen closely examining Kanade's newly acquired Thunder Driver and Memory.
"The Thunder Memory. A Gaia Memory that allows one to control the forces of thunder and lightning. Very interesting." Philip said before he looked at the Thunder Driver. "And there's also this Thunder Driver. To think it not only allows you to transform like our belts, but it also serves as your main weapon. Truly fascinating."
"And you said Shroud gave you those?" Mitsuki asked, and Kanade nodded.
"Yeah. I actually met her in person myself." Kanade said. "Not only that, but we also had a pretty nice chat."
"Really?" Philip said as he was curious about this.
"Then what did she say?" Tsubasa asked before she rubbed her fingers on her eyes.
"Then she didn't exactly share the full details. But the main reason why she gave me and Ryu our Memories and Drivers, is because she wanted us to be her tools for revenge." Kanade said and they were surprised by this.
"Revenge?" Hibiki said.
"That's right. Against Museum." Kanade nodded. Mitsuki then turns to Ryu.
"Did you know about that?" Mitsuki asked.
"Don't ask me questions!" Ryu exclaimed. "But back then, I didn't care what her reasons were. All I care about is that she'll give me the power to exact my revenge."
"Yeah. Except she said that no matter what happens, if you die, she'll only think that you were useless to her." Kanade said.
"I see. That makes a lot of sense now." Ryu said.
"But still, it makes you wonder, just what did Museum do to her that makes Shroud go through such lengths." Tsubasa said before her eyes blinked a few times.
"That's the part where she wasn't clear about. She only said that they took everything from her." Kanade said.
Mitsuki hummed in thought before he turned to Philip.
"Hey, Philip, how about we look her up in the Gaia Library?" Mitsuki asked, and Philip turned to him and shook his head.
"I already tried that. Apparently, Shroud's book is password protected." Philip said which surprised his friends.
"Really?" Chris said.
"Yeah." Philip nodded. "It could be possible she set that lock herself, to make sure I don't even know her true identity for reasons I'm not sure."
"So much for that idea then." Mitsuki sighed and rubbed the back of her head.
"But isn't Shroud-san on our side?" Hibiki said getting the others' attention. "I mean she gave Kanade-san her Memory and Driver, and she gave you and Philip-kun the blueprints of creating your new Gadgets. She could still be helping us in her own way."
"Maybe. But still doesn't change the fact she has her own agendas. So we might need to be careful around from now on." Mitsuki said and they nodded.
"But I guess this leaves one question." Chris said before she gave the Thunder Driver a questionable look. "How is the old hag going to carry this around?"
While Kanade's eyebrow twitches to hear Chris calling her an old hag once again, she still agrees with her about that.
"Yeah. I can't exactly carry a large spear wherever I go. People might think that I'm weird." Kanade said as Philip closely examined the Thunder Driver.
"Don't worry about it. If I'm right, which I always am, there should be a hidden button for a more compact mode right…there it is." Philip said as he pressed on a hidden button on top of the Thunder Driver's grip.
The Thunder Driver then shrunk down and changed into a dagger-like mode which made it easier to carry and hide. Everyone was amazed by this before Philip returned the Driver to Kanade.
"Whoa. I guess that's one problem solved." Kanade said before she attaches the now smaller Thunder Driver beside her waist.
"Anyway, best that we leave the whole Shroud thing on hold for now. Did Genjuro-san find any trace of Isaka?" Mitsuki asked, while Tsubasa looked to be on the verge of sleeping before, she turned to him and shook her head.
"I just spoke to him. After the Lily-san case, there's been no sign of Isaka. Whatever hole he crawled under, it must be well hidden." Tsubasa told him.
"I see." Mitsuki said before he notices the sad look on Hibiki's face showing she's still worried about Miku.
To help comfort her, Mitsuki placed an arm on her shoulders and Hibiki buried her face on his chest.
"But still knowing how that bastard operates, he won't stay quiet for long. He'll make his next move soon." Ryu said, and Mitsuki nodded in agreement.
"Yeah. And we'll be ready for him." Mitsuki said.
"We all will." Kanade said and the others nodded.
But Philip can't help but wonder who this Shroud truly was and wonders why she was doing all of this.
"Well…In anycase, we need…" Tsubasa mutters before she yawns with her hand in front of her mouth.
"Tsubasa-san, what's wrong?" Hibiki asked.
"Yeah, you've been looking a little sleepy lately." Mitsuki said.
"I just didn't sleep much last night…" Tsubasa told them before she yawned once again.
"Really? But you usually have a strict routine of sleeping and waking up early. What happened?" Kanade asked.
Tsubasa blushes before she goes into her bag.
"Well…It's mostly because of this." Tsubasa said before she brought out a DVD of a period drama show.
"Saheji of the wind. Panic Revenger?" Philip reads the DVD's title.
"A classmate of mine introduced this to me. It's really popular. It's as interesting as people say. Before I knew it, it was morning…" Tsubasa said before turning to Mitsuki. "You should really watch this, Mitsuki. I'm sure you'll be into it too."
"Sorry, but period dramas aren't my thing. Watching it would put me to sleep in five minutes." Mitsuki told her, and Tsubasa pouted to hear that.
Outside of the agency, someone rang the doorbell.
"Oh, looks like we got a client." Mitsuki said before he and the others left the hangar and entered the main room. "It's opened!"
Then opening and entering the agency was a pretty young woman with black hair and eyes, wearing white clothing and was holding a pink alarm clock in her hand.
"Help me! I can't sleep!" She told them with Mitsuki eyeing on her and Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Kanade recognize the look in those eyes of his.
Kanade coughs in her hand which snaps Mitsuki out of his train of thought before Tsubasa pinches on his arm.
"Ow!" Mitsuki said as he rubbed his arm. "What was that for?"
"Hmph!" Tsubasa turns away from him.
"Then you should be asking a doctor instead of a detective." Kanade told her and the client shook her head.
"No!" She said before she moved in front of Mitsuki to hold his hands. "I'm so scared and can't sleep!"
"Scared?" Mitsuki said before her alarm clock suddenly rings which startles him and some of the others as Mitsuki steps back. "Whoa! You scared me!"
"It's set to go off every 30 minutes." She told them before Mitsuki took the alarm clock to turn it off. "If I'm caught by the monster in the dream, I'll never wake up again…"
"Monster?" They said at the same time.
"Hai." She said before she brought out a sketchbook. "It looks like this."
She then opens the sketchbook showing a drawn picture of herself as a princess along with seven dwarfs. The dwarfs were actually classmates of hers from her college.
"Six guys in the same university lab as me were caught by the monster in the dream. Now they can't wake up." She told them.
They look at the sketch of the said monster as it entraps the six dwarfs as she and the seventh run away.
It was a rough sketch, but it appears to be a monster with two heads and its body was mostly gray with some red patches and gold metal pieces. It also held a wheel in its hand and entrapped the sleeping dwarfs in a web.
Something about her story felt familiar to Ryu before she questioned the client.
"By any chance do these men have an 'H' drawn on their foreheads?" She nodded.
"So you know something about this?" Kanade asked, and Ryu nodded.
"Yeah. It's part of a case I've been working on. Apparently there have been several incidents where people have ended up comatose, and the one thing they have in common is that they have an 'H' on their foreheads." Ryu told them.
"So it's a Dopant who appears in dreams?" Hibiki said while Philip smiled as he was intrigued by this.
"If that is the truth, then that is truly compelling. Entering the dreams of others…That would defy reason!" Philip said which made Chris shake her head.
"We here go…" Chris said.
The client yawns as she feels a little sleepy right now.
"I haven't slept properly for many days…" She said as she was about to fall to the floor but not before Mitsuki caught her.
"Worry not! I swear I will protect you." He told her and she smiles before she hugs him much to Mitsuki's surprise while Hibiki, Kanade, and Tsubasa had jealous looks on their faces.
"Could you be…my fated prince?" She asked.
"Prince?" Mitsuki said in confusion.
(Bloody Stream by Coda)

(Mitsuki and Philip are seen walking together, Mitsuki putting on his hat and Philip closing his book, and they point at the screen before the title appears in front of them.)

(Mitsuki is in his office going through his case files, before Kanade handed him a cup of coffee that he happily accepted.)

(Philip was having his usual interesting research moment as he was writing on his whiteboards, before he accidentally wrote on Chris's face as she was walking towards him, Philip flinched before Chris slaps on his face. Then images of their friends and allies appeared one at a time.)

(Ryu is seen looking at his Accel Memory before he walks forward.)

(W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris are seen surrounded by Noise before they turn to each other and nodded before they charge at the Noise battling against them.)

(The mysterious Shroud is seen walking in a dark alley before she turns to the screen showing her white bandage covered face with black sunglasses.)

(The Nephilim is in its cage with Ver looking at it with an evil grin before the Nephilim roars. Then images of the Kamen Riders and Symphogear users' enemies appear one at a time, before finally showing Ryubee looking above the Gaia Well.)

(Shirabe wearing her black Symphogear armor fires from her head compartments, then to Kirika swinging her scythe around and finally to Maria wielding her lance as she uses her HORIZON†SPEAR attack.)

(The three black Symphogear users are standing atop a stone pillar looking down upon W, Accel, Hibiki, Tsubasa, and Chris as they get ready for battle. Then an image of a younger Maria reaching out to her sister Serena appears, and then shows the present day Maria looking at Airgetlám in sadness before a teardrop falls from her eye and onto the pendent.)

(W in his Cyclone-Joker Form is seen doing some kicks and punches as he was spinning around, and changes into his Heat-Metal swinging his Metal Shaft around, and soon changes to his Luna-Trigger firing with his Trigger Magnum, and changes to his Fang-Joker attacking with his Arm Saber, and the final spin shows W in a new and unknown form.)

(Now both Kamen Riders and Symphogear users alike are seen standing side by side as the Nephilim in its final form looking down at them, as the floating city the Frontier raises to the moon.)
After accepting the client's case, Mitsuki, Kanade, Hibiki, and Ryu had followed her to Fuuto University.
"The client is Yukimura Himeka. She is as beautiful as Snow White. Seems she does research on dreams at this university." Mitsuki narrated.
They followed Himeka to the lab she studies in, the Akagi Neural Lab.
"So is this the place?" Mitsuki said before he moved in front of the window which had the curtain pulled down.
But to Mitsuki's surprise as he cries out, the curtain pulls up revealing a man from inside the lab.
He appears to be a middle-aged man wearing glasses. Not only that, but he was also wearing things that made him look a bit bizarre. He was wearing a lion's hat and an animal's coat around his waist, he also had safari styled necklaces and bracelets.
"A boy said he was afraid of dreaming." He told them.
That's when they got a good look of the lab inside and it was filled with even more bizarre stuff despite that it was supposed to be a lab.
There were a bunch of small and large animal statues on the tables in fact there was even a life size stuffed bear along with a pink horse statue. Along with colorful rugs hanging on the wall with a colorful lamp with a toy bear head on top of it. There was even an Indian tent and a horse-riding machine beside it.
In fact, there was a student wearing a lab coat seated on top of the riding machine.
That's when the bizarre man moves in front of the stuffed bear and speaks in front of its face.
"The father asked if he had tried fighting." He said with a grin before he moved to the pink horse and hugged it with his face on it. "The boy's response was that he got scared and ran away. The father ordered him not to run next time."
Mitsuki, his friends, and Himeka enter the room as they watch the strange man go on before he moves to the student on the riding machine.
"Do you know why, Fukishima-kun?" He asked before he activated the said machine and Fukishima had a tough time riding on it.
"I don't know, Professor." He told him and Mitsuki and his friends were surprised by this.
"Professor?" Hibiki said.
"He's in charge of this lab?" Kanade asked Himeka, and she nodded.
"Yes, this is Professor Akagi." Himeka said.
"Conquering fear in a dream is the first step towards controlling the dream itself." The Professor told him.
"Control dreams?" Mitsuki said in confusion, which got the professor's attention as he turned to them.
"Yes! Those who live on the Malay Peninsula have trained..." Akagi says before he walks to Mitsuki to grab his hand and drags a few steps away from his friends. "Eventually allowing them to control their dreams. It is truly marvelous."
He continues as he gives Mitsuki an animal statue before he laughs. Mitsuki coughs before the statue is back on the table.
"I'm a detective, Hidari Mitsuki. Do you mind if I…" Mitsuki said as the professor continued to laugh.
"I'll ask the questions around here." Ryu said before he moved in front of the professor and showed his badge which made Mitsuki shrug as he stepped aside. "I'm Fuuto Police's Extraordinary Case Investigator Terui."
Concerned about this, Fukishima stood up and walked in front of the detective and police officer.
"A detective and…the police?!"
Mitsuki picks up a drum with strings attached to it and looks at it.
"Professor Akagi…All six hospitalized comatose students are your pupils, correct?" Ryu asked.
"That's right." Professor Akagi nodded. "They worked with me in researching meisekimu."
"Meisekimu?" Mitsuki, Kanade, and Hibiki said in confusion.
"Lucid dreaming." Professor Akagi said before he picked up and put on his lab coat. "It means knowing when you are dreaming."
He then moves to the tent in the room with his aid Fukushima following him to move the riding machine out of the way.
"We analyze the brainwaves of people as they dream." Professor Akagi before he entered the tent and laid his head on the pillow on the floor. "We're trying to solve the mystery of lucid dreaming."
"And so, you used your students as test subjects…resulting in them not awakening again." Mitsuki said as he moved to the professor before he stood up and shouted at him which startled Mitsuki once again.
"They're just asleep from fatigue!" Akagi tells them before Mitsuki coughs and regains his composure. "My research is hard work, after all."
"Where's the device that you use?" Hibiki asked.
Fukushima then brings out the device which was a modified pair of headphones.
"This is it. When the subject is in a deep sleep, it sends brainwave data to our computer." Fukushima told them.
"Really? That's amazing." Hibiki said in amazement.
"Then…will you let me use it?" Ryu requested but Yukimura was concerned about that as she moved in front of the police officer.
"No! If you do that, the monster in the dreams…" Himeka tried to explain.
"Worry not. I will face him straight on and exterminate that beast." Ryu assured her.
"Then I'm doing it too." Mitsuki said as he stepped in front of him.
Himeka then applauded to hear that.
"What gallantry!" Himeka said before she moved and hugged Ryu. "Himeka is so touched!"
Himeka then grabs Ryu by the shoulders and smiles at him.
"Could it be…you are my fated prince?!" She asked.
"Huh?" Mitsuki said in dismay.
"So she says that to everyone?" Hibiki spoke to Kanade who nodded in agreement.
"Seems like it." Kanade said.
Mitsuki was a bit disappointed by this which Fukushima noticed and spoke to the detective.
"Please don't misunderstand. That's Himekarin's kindness."
"Himekarin?" Mitsuki said in confusion.
After both Mitsuki and Ryu received a device from Professor Akagi, Mitsuki and his friends had returned to the Agency while Ryu had returned to the police department.
That's when the girls begin discussing theories on who the Dopant culprit is.
"The culprit has to be Professor Akagi. That's what people call a mad scientist. To do his research, he became a Dopant who can control dreams." Kanade said.
"I don't know Kanade-san. He may seem a bit…odd. But I don't think he's a bad guy." Hibiki said.
"Tachibana is right. We need to find all of the facts before we decide on anything." Tsubasa told her.
Chris then turns to Philip.
"Well, Philip, anything?" Chris asked.
As they were talking, Philip was scanning the headphone device with the Denden Sensor for any traps, but he didn't find anything wrong with it.
"Hmmm…" Philip hummed before he lowered the Sensor. "I do not see anything out of the ordinary. This is standard equipment."
Mitsuki, wearing his sleepwear, walks to his partner to take the headphone from him.
"At any rate, I'm gonna try it out." Mitsuki said before he walked to the bed. "If a Dopant appears in my dream, I'll seize him by the collar and expose his identity."
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Hibiki asked as Mitsuki sat down on the bed and put the headphones on.
"Don't worry, it will be fine. This should solve the case." Mitsuki said before he lied down and put the blanket on top of his body so he could sleep.
"Will it really be that easy?" Philip questions.
"Well, it might be our best option." Kanade said.
Unknown to everyone in the agency is that something was watching them from outside as it was standing on top of a tall building.
Well, its appearance couldn't be seen due to the darkness of the night, the one that sticks out about it is that it has green eyes and despite the walls of the agency, the figure was able to see them as its eyes were mostly set on Kanade.
(Meanwhile)
Ryu along with Mikio and Shun were in the police station's napping room for men. Ryu, who was also wearing the headphones from Akagi, lied down on the bed to lure out the Dopant culprit.
"Please wake me up if anything unusual happens." Ryu told them. Mikio then saluted him.
"As you command. Please leave it to us." Mikio said before Shun also saluted.
(Back with Mitsuki)
In the agency, Mitsuki had trouble sleeping as he removed the blanket from his head.
"Damn it! I can't sleep because I keep thinking about this!" Mitsuki said in frustration before he wondered what to do and soon had an idea. "Oh…that's right."
After bringing out the portable DVD player, Mitsuki opens the case of Tsubasa's favorite show, Saheji of the Wind: Panic Revenger, and loads the first volume disk into the player.
"Well, watching a period drama should put me to sleep pretty quickly." Mitsuki said before he lied back down and picked up the disk to look at it.
The show then began and Mitsuki thought he would instantly fall asleep in the first five minutes, but he watched through the entire volume's worth of episodes.
He sees the main protagonist, Saheji, an okappiki, and captures and ties up a criminal he had been chasing. But at that moment, someone who was behind Saheji had brought a sword to his head and when he noticed it, he soon saw who the wielder was which surprised Saheji.
"It can't be…you are…!" Saheji said before the episode ended in a cliffhanger as the words 'To be continued' appeared on screen.
"Oooohhh!" Mitsuki found himself hooked by this show as he sat up and opened the player. "This is kind of interesting…"
He then removes the first volume to load the second volume to see what happens next.
"A one-on-one duel?"
(Meanwhile)
In the Akagi Neural Lab, someone had entered the room before he closed the door. He then uses the computer to check the brainwave activities of Mitsuki and Ryu.
So far, there were no readings from Mitsuki due to him watching Saheji of the Wind: Panic Revenger, Ryu's brainwaves can be seen.
He then brought out a Gaia Memory that has the letter 'N' and the word 'Nightmare'.
[NIGHTMARE]
(With Ryu)
As Ryu was sleeping on the bed, both Mikio and Shun were seated on a different bed while playing a game of shogi.
"Checkmate! I took your rook." Shun said but Mikio only laughed.
"Wait!"
"No, we're not." Shun said before they began to move the rook piece back and forth.
"No, really, wait."
"No, we're not."
"You're being really harsh."
As they continued to bicker, Ryu was having a dream right now.
In his dream, Ryu was looking through the window in his office as Shun was seated on a desk. That's when he heard the door opening and that's when saw his sister, Haruko, entering the room with a bento box in hand.
"Mou, Onii-chan!" Haruko said before she moved in front of her brother.
"Oh, what is it, Haruko?" Ryu asked as he turned to his sister.
"You forgot your obentou. I'm amazed you become a policeman like that." Haruko said before she gave the bento to Ryu while Shun stood up and walked to Haruko's side as he laughed and grabbed onto her shoulders.
"She really got you, Section Chief!" Shun said as he continued to laugh.
But Ryu begins to feel that something is wrong here.
'Something's wrong. Haruko was killed by Isaka last summer.' Ryu thought while remembering.
"Hey, Onii-chan. Actually…I'm getting married!" Haruko told him which completely caught Ryu off guard while Shun was surprised by this.
"Eh? Married?! With whom?" Shun asked before he got his answer as Mikio suddenly appeared in front of Ryu which pushed Shun back as he stumbled to the desk.
"With me." Mikio then placed an arm on top of Haruko's shoulders. "From now on, I will no longer call you Section Chief Terui…it'll be Ryu-oniisama."
"Okay?" Both Mikio and Haruko said at the same time as they smiled at each other.
That's when a completely stumped Ryu drops the bento in his hands before he suddenly sees his sister and Mikio wearing their wedding clothes before they turn and smile at each other.
"Please make me happy, Mikio."
"Of course, Haruko."
That's when Shun had appeared and was dressed as the priest to act as their marriage officiant.
"And now…the kiss to seal the vow."
Mikio then lifted up Haruko's veil, and that's when several more people appeared as they applauded to congratulate the married couple while Ryu was at a loss for words to see his sister marrying his subordinate.
"This is a nightmare." Ryu said and that's when he realized that all of this was indeed a nightmare in his mind. "That's it! So this is a lucid dream?"
That's when a large shadow appeared behind Ryu and spoke to him.
"Correct!"
Ryu then turns to the shadow.
"A Dopant?!" Ryu said.
The shadow was a Dopant's shadow as it showed a large face on its back.
"You saw me?" The Dopant said before he turned to Ryu showing his appearance to the Red Rider.
The Dopant has a body with mix-up body parts. Its body was mostly colored white with a black right arm and the right side of its torso is also colored white. It also has golden metal pieces on its body with a golden ribcage that almost resembles a bug on its chest. The Dopant also had two heads with white masks, the mask on the left is a happy face while the right mask is a sad face, and it also has a golden bird's head on top of its left head.
This is the Nightmare Dopant.
The Nightmare Dopant then pointed his hand in front of Ryu.
"You can't go back now!"
"So you're the one who put those six into comas?" Ryu questions before the Dopant's shadow appears on another wall.
"That is also correct." He answered before Ryu saw that he was standing on a different spot. "And you're number seven!"
"We'll see about that…" Ryu said before he puts on his Driver and brings out the Accel Memory.
[ACCEL]
"Hen…shin!" Ryu said.
The Nightmare Dopant chuckles as he brings and spun a dreamcatcher-like weapon in his hand.
Just as the dream version of Mikio leans in to kiss the dream version of his sister, Ryu inserts the Memory into his Driver and twisted the handlebar.
[ACCEL]
As Ryu transforms into Accel, the dream version of Mikio and Haruko turns into billiard balls before he charges at the Dopant as the balls clash against each other and the entire space changes around them.
Both Accel and the Nightmare Dopant were in an abandoned building with billiard tables. Accel attacks the Dopant with his Engine Blade landing some strong slashes on it.
The Nightmare Dopant blocks Accel's next slash before the Red Rider pushes him to a nearby table as he falls on top of it.
Accel swings his Blade down at him, but the Dopant avoids it as he stands up on the table and punches at him, Accel blocks it and throws the Nightmare Dopant to another table.
Accel moves on top of it as the Nightmare Dopant stands as Accel lands a slash on its chest and the Dopant falls onto another table.
As the Nightmare Dopant slowly stood back up, Accel loads the Engine Memory into his Blade.
[ENGINE: MAXIMUM DRIVE]
Accel's visor lit up as energy coated around the Engine Blade.
"Your goal is despair." Accel said before he sends an 'A' shape energy slash at the Nightmare Dopant which destroys him as he screams while exploding.
But then time had reversed for the explosion as it disappeared and showed the Nightmare Dopant as Accel's attack had no effect on him.
"Just kidding!" The Nightmare Dopant mocked Accel as he shrugged.
"Nani?!" Accel said in shock before the Dopant grabbed him by the neck.
"How dare you come snooping around the lab!" The Nightmare Dopant said before he throws Accel to a nearby fence as he falls to the ground.
In the real world, Ryu was groaning as he tossed and turned on the bed while Mikio and Shun were sound asleep right now not noticing the dire state Ryu was now in.
"The finisher!" The Nightmare Dopant said before he throws his dreamcatcher weapon at Accel as it falls right on top of him and entraps the Red Rider with its net.
As Accel struggles to remove the dreamcatcher, Accel instantly becomes weak and falls asleep.
(Back with Mitsuki)
Mitsuki had continued to watch Saheji of the Wind: Panic Revenger for several hours and had gone through over four volumes of it.
In the latest episode so far, Mitsuki had watched Saheji facing a kunoichi and he knew her with Mitsuki eating some popcorn as they were several empty wrappers of snacks and an empty cup of coffee on the bed.
"It can't be…Omine?!"
"That's right. That's exactly it."
The episode ends with a cliffhanger as the words 'To be continued' appeared on screen.
Moved by this episode, Mitsuki took a moment to breathe as he was on the verge of crying right now.
"Saheji…"
That's when Tsubasa instantly opens the curtains and gives Mitsuki a smile as he turns to her.
"So you stayed up too? And you said you wouldn't be into it." Tsubasa said.
Mitsuki sighed before he picked up the DVD case.
"Yeah…I'll admit it's a great show…Wait, stayed up?" Mitsuki said before he heard a bird crying, he turned to the windows and saw it was already morning. "It's morning?!"
Mitsuki then heard his Stag Phone ringing on his desk, he quickly stood up and moved to it to answer the call and placed the Phone on his ear.
"Detective!" Said Shun as he shouts through the Phone which surprised Mitsuki before he looks at his Phone and places it back on his ear.
"What? It's Makki?" Mitsuki said.
"The Section Chief…"
"Has fallen victim to the Dopant!" Shun told him through the phone as Mikio tries to wake up the now comatose Ryu.
Mikio then removes the headphones and sees that Ryu has the same 'H' marked on his forehead like the other victims.
"H?" Mikio said.
After hearing the news about Ryu, Mitsuki, Philip, Kanade, Tsubasa, Chris and Hibiki were now in the hangar. Philip was now in the Gaia Library to begin his search.
"Keywords: Dream. Fuuto University. Comatose. H."
Then several of the bookshelves begin to move and remove themselves, but there are still several shelves remaining.
"Looks like I don't have enough keywords to identify the Dopant." Philip told them.
"So in other words, we're still in a deadend." Tsubasa said.
Mitsuki sighed to hear this.
"Then this time I'm going to sleep and avenge Terui…" Mitsuki said as he was about to move before Kanade stopped him by grabbing onto his arm.
"Mitsuki, no. It's too dangerous." Kanade told him.
"Kanade is right. It's too dangerous to blindly go in, since we don't understand his power." Philip told his partner.
"Then what should we do?!" Mitsuki asked.
"I am going to continue my research. I should be able to find some sort of countermeasure." Philip said.
Mitsuki rubs the back of his head before he groans and walks down the stairs.
"Mitsuki! Where are you going?!" Hibiki calls out before Mitsuki stops and turns to her.
"I can't just do nothing. I'm going to see Himeka-chan again." Mitsuki said before he left the hangar which Kanade sighed in annoyance.
"I swear, men can be so stubborn. Guess I'm going with him." Kanade said before she followed him.
"I'm going as well." Tsubasa said as she followed her as well.
(Meanwhile)
In the Sonozaki mansion, Isaka was having a meal with the leaders of Museum. The doctor had eaten over several plates of food as the pile of plates had made a tunnel.
In her seat, Wakana was laughing while wearing colorful and gaudy clothes.
"What happened, Wakana? You seem quite joyous." Ryubee spoke to his second daughter and Wakana turned to her father.
"I've been feeling great lately!" Wakana responded with a cheery smile before she laughed and pointed both of her fingers at her father.
"We are in the middle of having a meal." Saeko told her sister.
"But Onee-sama, Mick is all curled up!" Wakana laughs as she points at Mick who was lying on the table and was beside Ryubee.
As Wakana laughs while clapping, Ryubee and Saeko turned to each other as they were a bit concerned about Wakana's state of mind before she suddenly stopped laughing and placed her hands on the table.
"Thank you for the meal." She said before she stood up and left, but she once again laughs and claps as she leaves.
Ryubee then stood up and spoke to Isaka.
"Is that also a side effect from your previous prank, Isaka-kun?" Ryubee then walks beside the table and heads to Isaka.
"Do not worry. Her state of complete bliss is proof of her high compatibility with the Memory." Isaka told him before he drank some of his champagne.
"A Driver is not needed as long as one doesn't succumb to the toxin. That is your theory, correct?" Ryubee said.
"Yes. You cannot draw forth all the power using a Driver." Isaka told him before Ryubee stopped in front of him.
"I see." Ryubee said before he placed his hands on the table. "But let me say this…A daughter is a father's treasure."
Ryubee then looks through the tunnel of plates to give Isaka a warning glance.
"If anything happens to Wakana…you better say your prayers." Ryubee darkly warns the doctor, but Isaka remains calm and composed before Ryubee leaves the room.
(Back with Mitsuki)
Mitsuki along with Kanade and Tsubasa had arrived at Fuuto University to see Himeka, as they entered the university's grounds, they heard her voice.
"Detective-san!" Mitsuki and his friends turned and saw Himeka rushing towards him and stopped in front of Mitsuki. "Please abandon this case."
"What happened?!" Mitsuki asked.
"I happened to fall asleep just now, and the monster appeared in my dreams!" Himeka told them before she remembered the Nightmare Dopant's words to her in her dreams.
"Have the detective withdraw. Otherwise, he'll end up in a coma too."
"Himeka…is scared! I'm scared!" Himeka said in fear while Kanade and Tsubasa wondered how to calm her down, Mitsuki raised his hand and told her this.
"It'll be okay." Mitsuki then walks forward. "No matter what dangers appear, I will never abandon my client. That is a detective's…No, wait…" Mitsuki then turns back to her. "That's my ironclad rule."
Himeka could've sworn she heard the angels singing, before she moves in and hugs Mitsuki much to his surprise while Kanade and Tsubasa narrowed their eyes.
"You really are my fated one! Himeka's prince!" Himeka said with a smile, and Mitsuki laughed when he heard that.
"I really don't like this girl." Kanade said.
"You and me both." Tsubasa said in agreement.
That's when they heard Mitsuki's Stag Phone ringing. Unknown to them the figure that had been watching them from outside was standing on top of a building of the university as it looked at Kanade before it snorted like a horse.
Philip was the one calling Mitsuki with his Stag Phone as he was carrying two pillows on his back with a large piece of cloth along with Akagi's headphone device; he and Chris had arrived at Fuuto University. Hibiki wanted to come with them, but Philip was able to talk her into staying in the agency due to her condition.
Mitsuki soon answered his call and Philip spoke to him.
"From my research, there's only one way. Let's try it out immediately." Philip told him.
Unknown to Philip and Chris, something was following them as it was flying in the sky as it cried out like a bird. It stops for a moment and looks at Philip.
Mitsuki, Kanade, and Tsubasa had met up with Philip and Chris in the University's track and football field as they walked towards each other.
Philip then brings out one of the pillows he was carrying.
"Mitsuki, I brought your pillow." Philip said before he throws it to his partner, and he catches it.
"Oh, thank you." Mitsuki said.
"So, mind telling us what you have planned?" Kanade asked.
Mitsuki and Philip had placed their respective pillows on the ground with the headphones on Mitsuki's side before they laid down with their heads on the pillows, they were also wearing the Double Driver on their waist.
"We will transform into W. If he goes to sleep while my consciousness is still there…I might be able to enter Mitsuki's dream." Philip told them.
"Are you sure that would work though?" Tsubasa asked as she was concerned about this.
"Don't worry. I'm almost positive that nothing would go wrong." Philip answered.
"Yeah. That's really reassuring." Chris rolled her eyes.
Then Mitsuki and Philip bring out the Cyclone and Joker Memories.

They soon strike their poses.
"Henshin!"
Philip then inserts the Cyclone Memory into his Driver, and it soon transfers into Mitsuki's Driver as the bookworm falls asleep. Mitsuki then pushes down the Cyclone Memory and inserts his Joker Memory to transform into W.
[CYCLONE-JOKER]
After the transformation, W then picks up the headphone device and puts it on.
"Okay, I'm going…to the world of dreams." W-Mitsuki said before he laid down on his side.
"Good night, everyone." W-Philip told them.
With that, W falls asleep as he snores and begins to have a dream.
Mitsuki's dream is set in an Edo version of Fuuto as wind blows on the fans. Mitsuki was in his office which is also styled in Edo fashion. He was seated behind his table while cleaning his jitte as he was an okappiki, wearing traditional Japanese clothes and his hair is styled as a topknot.
"In the wind, when someone cries out…that's when my super detective skills become evident. I am the hard-boiled okappiki who loves this city." Mitsuki narrates before an Edo version of Kanade whacks him on the head with her slipper.
"Itai! What are you doing, Okana?!" Mitsuki asked.
"I apologize. You were showing off so much that I could not resist." Okana said before she sat down beside him.
"That's no reason!" Mitsuki said before they saw an Edo version of Himeka had entered the building.
"Please help me! I cannot sleep!" She said before she rushed to Mitsuki.
"Oh! Ohime-chan!" Mitsuki said before he stood up on one foot to greet her. "Isn't that the rumored sleeping sickness I've been hearing about?"
Ohime then sat down beside Mitsuki.
"In my dream…a monster…Ohime is scared!" Ohime said before she hugs him much to Okana's jealousy as she snarls.
That's when they saw someone rushing to the door as he called out to Mitsuki.
"Chief!" Said Edo Philip as he opened the door and entered the building.
Philip was also dressed as an okappiki and his hair is also styled as a topknot. He was wearing a yellow belt with a wooden sign with the words 'Detective in training' written on it.
"Big trouble! Big trouble!" Philip says before he trips and falls but stands up once again as Mitsuki walks to him.
"Oh, what's the matter, Philipachi?" Mitsuki asked.
"There's a corpse at Tenma-cho's wharf!" Philipachi said before he remembers he was in a dream right now. "Wait."
Philip then took a moment to look at the clothes he was wearing.
"What are you having me do, Mitsuki? This is your dream." Philip told him.
"Eh?" Mitsuki said in confusion before he blinks and remembers that this is indeed his dream right now. "Oh! That's right."
Mitsuki then checks out the outfit he was wearing and the building they were in.
"I stayed up all night watching this DVD, so that's why this is a period drama." Mitsuki said.
After they collected their thoughts, both Mitsuki and Philip decided to play out the dream as they, along with Ohime rushed towards where the corpse had been found.
"Coming through!" Mitsuki said as they arrived and stopped as groups of people were looking at the corpse.
Waiting for them was an Edo and yoriki version of Tsubasa before she turned to them and stood up. Her hair is also styled as a topknot.
"So you're here." Edo Tsubasa greeted them.
Mitsuki almost laughs seeing Tsubasa's hair as a topknot but manages to keep his composure before he coughs in his hand.
"If it isn't Lady Tsubasa." Mitsuki said before he bowed his head and brought out his jitte and walked to the corpse. "So, where is the one who has gone to Budda?"
They look at the corpse which was covered with a straw cover.
"Street performer…Santa." Edo Tsubasa said before she removed the cover showing an Edo version of Santa-chan who is now dead with a smile on his face. "It seems he slipped and drowned from a lack of sleep."
"Hey…isn't this Santa-chan?!" Mitsuki said.
"Plus, he's smiling. Truly compelling." Philip said, being interested as he looked at Santa's body.
Then to everyone's shock, Edo Santa-chan came back to life as he sat up as they took a step back.
"Whoa!"
"This isn't a smile. It's a face frozen in terror. And…the one who frightened me this much…" Edo Santa-chan said but before he could finish, a dart was shot and landed on his neck which caused him to laugh and fall to the ground once again.
As Edo Tsubasa and the other people look at Edo Santa-chan, Philip looks for the shooter and finds him.
"Mitsuki! Over there!" Philip pointed, Mitsuki looked and saw that the shooter was the Nightmare Dopant armed with a blowgun and was standing on top of a building from across the river.
"You saw me? You can't go back now." He said before the others saw him as well as they screamed in fear.
Mitsuki spun his jitte as he stepped forward and pointed his weapon at the Dopant.
"There you are…Dopant." Mitsuki said.
The Nightmare Dopant then saw the Edo version of Himeka and was surprised to see her.
"Why is she in your dream?" The Nightmare Dopant said before he swung his blowgun at Ohime as its length and size extended towards her.
The Nightmare Dopant then uses his blowgun to suck in Ohime into it before he pulls it back as it returns to its original size. The Dopant then throws the entrap Ohime to a basket in his other hand as she screams and falls in as he laughs.
"Ohime-chan!" Mitsuki said.
"Later!" The Nightmare Dopant said before he jumped down to leave.
"Stop!" Mitsuki said before he and Philip ran forward before they stopped. "Philip, transform into W."
"Right…but don't expect too much." Philip said.
Then both Mitsuki and Philip once again bring out their Joker and Cyclone memories.
But instead of the usual USB devices, the Gaia Memories were in the forms of wooden planks written with Japanese literature along with the 'C' and 'J' symbols.

Mitsuki looks at the Edo/dream version of his Joker Memory.
"What are these Memories?!" Mitsuki said before he threw the Memory up and caught it. "But I guess we have to use them."
Then both partners strike their poses.
"Henshin!"
Philip soon inserts the Edo Cyclone Memory into his Driver which transfers to Mitsuki's Driver as he falls to the ground. Mitsuki pushes down the Cyclone Memory and inserts his Edo Joker Memory into his Driver.
[SHIPPUU-KIRIFUDA]
In his transformation, instead of the usual markings, Mitsuki's face changed into a painted mask of a kabuki actor as the Japanese literature of Shippuu and Kirifuda had appeared from his Driver before they smashed together and with that, Mitsuki transforms into W.
"You're not getting away!" W swore as he strikes a traditional Japanese pose and chases after the Dopant.
The Nightmare Dopant was running on the streets of Edo Fuuto as W chased after him by riding on his HardBoilder as the people screamed and moved out of their way.
"Out of the way! I said move! Move!"
As he was running, Ohime managed to climb to the top of the basket she was trapped in before she saw W and waves at him.
"Save me!" She calls out before the Nightmare Dopant turns to W.
"Stay away!" The Nightmare Dopant said before he swung his run which made a nearby building move in front of W to block his path.
"Nani?!" W-Mitsuki said.
But W didn't stop as he smashed through the buildings and soon smashed through the backdoors as he continued his chase for the Nightmare Dopant.
A group of people soon saw the Nightmare Dopant approaching them as they scream and move away from him.
"Move!"
The Nightmare Dopant then heard the familiar roar of a motorcycle engine, he turns around and saw that W had caught up to him before he uses his bike to ram into the Dopant to pinned him a wall behind it which forces him to let go of the basket in his hand as it flew up in the air and falls into W's hands.
Edo Himeka then appeared in a buff of smoke as W held her in his arms.
"Himeka-chan!" W-Mitsuki said before he turns to the Dopant as he struggles to break free. "Answer me! Why put the students into comas?!"
"Everything was for her." The Nightmare Dopant said as he was about to touch Edo Himeka but W stopped him by grabbing his hand.
"For Himeka-chan? What's that mean?!" W-Mitsuki questions him as he revs up his motorcycle's engine.
"It was a fated meeting. I am her prince." The Nightmare Dopant said as he closely looked at Edo Himeka.
"Huh?" W-Mitsuki said in confusion before he felt a hand tracing on his head. "Himeka-chan?"
W turned but saw that the one tracing on his head wasn't Edo Himeka, but an Edo version of Hibiki as a geisha as W held her in his arms while Edo Himeka was now missing.
"Eh?! Hibiki?!" W-Mitsuki said in shock before he heard someone crying out in pain in front of him and saw an Edo Ogawa who took the Dopant's place in front of his motorcycle. "Ogawa-san too?! What just happened?!"
W then saw that the Nightmare Dopant was now standing in another spot and his basket once again with Himeka trapped inside of it.
"Save me!"
"Baka! Later!" The Nightmare Dopant laughs before he runs away.
"Stop!" W calls out as Edo Hibiki hugs him while Edo Ogawa continues to request him to move.
"I won't let go." Edo Hibiki said.
"Will you please move!" Edo Ogawa cries out.
W nervously chuckled before he spoke to Edo Ogawa.
"I'll move right now."
"Help!" Edo Himeka calls out.
The Nightmare Dopant was now running in a narrow pathway with W chasing after him as the people in the area screamed and moved out of their way.
"Move! Move out of the way!" The Nightmare Dopant told them as he continued to run away.
They soon arrived and turned to a larger street, but W caught up to the Dopant and W managed to ram on his rear which sent the Nightmare Dopant rolling on the ground before he suddenly jumped backwards and landed perfectly on his feet.
"Just kidding!"
The Nightmare Dopant then thrust his fist forward and opened his hands. With that, W's HardBoilder had changed from a motorcycle to a bicycle.
"What is this?!" W-Mitsuki said in shock as he now pedals on his now bicycle Rider Machine.
As the Nightmare Dopant runs away once again, W manages to catch up to him as he pedals faster.
"Hey! Stop screwing around!" W said as he grabs onto the Dopant, but he manages to push his hand off of him. "Why, you! Stop!"
W continued to pedal after the Nightmare Dopant as more people appeared in front of them.
"Pests, disappear!"
Using his powers, the Nightmare Dopant made the people in the town disappear as W continues to chase after him before he falls for a moment but continues to pedal after the Nightmare Dopant.
The Nightmare Dopant opens a gate which leads to a garden as he runs through it before he hears someone yelling at him.
"The Magistrate of Lookups."
The Nightmare Dopant stops and turns to the side and sees he was standing in front of the magistrate's home and there was a sign above the doors that said 'Resolute Lookup'.
"He is entering!"
The doors soon open and walking out of the building is Philip now wearing a different Edo outfit as he walks to the Nightmare Dopant to face him.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Stop there!" Philip said as he slams his foot on the floor and strikes an Edo style pose. "Look at this face from every direction. You better not say you do not recognize it."
Philip then blinks before he looks at his new outfit.
"Hey…what are you having me do now, Mitsuki?" Philip asked before W appeared as he entered through a different door and took a moment to catch his breath.
"You!" W said as he glared at the Dopant.
The Nightmare Dopant then turns to Philip.
"You're annoying. Get lost!" The Nightmare Dopant attempts to use his powers to make Philip disappear, but it doesn't work on him, Philip chuckles as he fixes his clothes. "Nani?! Why isn't it working?"
Philip then pulled his arm out of his sleeve before he discarded his Edo outfit as the clothes fell to the ground, and Philip was now wearing his usual clothes along with his hairstyle.
"Just like you, we're both special exceptions in this world." Philip told him.
"I should be the only one able to enter others' dreams!" The Nightmare Dopant proclaimed before he fired energy shots at Philip using his bird head, but the energy shots harmlessly shattered in front of Philip's body which further proves his theory as he smiles.
"It's no use." Philip said before he steps down and approaches the Dopant. "Now, answer me. Who are you? Professor Akagi?"
"Akagi? Wrong. I already put him to sleep." The Nightmare Dopant answered.
Back in the real world, Himeka had arrived at Akagi's lab before she knocked on the door and called out to the professor.
"Professor Akagi." Himeka receives no answer, she then opens the door and enters the lab. "Are you in here?"
That's when Himeka had seen that Professor Akagi had fallen victim to the Nightmare Dopant's power as he was seated on his chair while groaning and had the 'H' mark on his forehead.
Horrified by this, Himeka's books and alarm clock falls to the ground before she screams as her alarm clock begins to ring.
In the football field, Kanade, Tsubasa, and Chris continue to watch over the sleep Philip and W. Kanade then blinks as she could've sworn, she heard a scream just now before she looks around, and Tsubasa notices that.
"Is something wrong, Kanade?" Tsubasa asked.
"I thought I heard someone screaming just now." Kanade said. They then heard a familiar voice.
"I originally came to pay a visit to Nightmare…but it looks like I found something even more interesting."
They looked and saw that Isaka was approaching them.
"You…" Tsubasa said.
"Isaka!" Chris said.
Isaka looks at the sleeping W and Philip.
"Kamen Rider W taking a nap here…what a surreal scene." Isaka said before Kanade, Tsubasa, and Chris moved in front of the doctor. "Ah, yes. I suppose I shouldn't forget about you ladies. Then I can assume that W is fighting in his dreams."
"Then you know something about this Dopant?" Kanade asked.
"Perhaps. But I have no intention of telling you." Isaka said before he brings out the Weather Memory.
[WEATHER]
He then inserts the Memory into his body and he soon transforms into the Weather Dopant.
"Afterall, you brats ruined my fun last time. And I have a policy to punish those who did just that." The Weather Dopant told them.
Kanade soon brings out his Thunder Driver and Memory before she changes her Driver/Weapon to its original size.
[THUNDER]
"Henshin!" Kanade said before she inserts the Memory into her Driver.
[THUNDER]
As Kanade begins her transformation, Tsubasa and Chris sing.
"Imyuteus Ame no Habakiri Tron…"
"Killiter Ichaival tron…"
Kanade transforms into Thunder while Tsubasa and Chris change into their armor and bring out their weapons as they are ready to fight the Weather Dopant to protect the sleeping W and Philip.
The Weather Dopant pointed his finger at them and fired a thunderbolt at them.
Tsubasa and Chris jumped out of the way to avoid it, while Thunder stood her ground and assumed her stance.
"Guess you didn't learn from the last time we did this." Thunder said before she pulled the trigger on her spear.
[FIRST CHARGE]
Thunder then uses her enhanced speed to move past the incoming thunderbolt and appears in front of the Weather Dopant and thrusts her spear at him, but the Dopant calmly looks at her.
"Oh, I wouldn't say that." He said before he raised two fingers with his other hand.
"Huh?" Thunder says before she looks down and the Weather Dopant summons a tornado beneath her which sends Thunder flying up in the air.
"Kanade!" Tsubasa said in worry before the Weather Dopant sends a blizzard towards her.
Tsubasa avoids it by jumping high into the air. Tsubasa then summons a large number of energy swords and sends them to the Weather Dopant.
千ノ落涙 (One Thousand Tears)
The Weather Dopant then creates another tornado to deflect Tsubasa's attacks.
The Weather Dopant chuckles before he dismisses his tornado but to his shock, he sees Chris aiming two large missiles at him while smirking.
"Nani?!"
"Surprised!" Chris said before she fired her missiles.
MEGA DETH FUGA
The Weather Dopant then pulls out the Weather Mine and swings at the incoming missiles as the whip tied around them. The Weather Dopant then uses most of his strength to spin the missiles around before he throws them into the sky and uses his thunderbolts to destroy them as they explode.
"No way…" Chris said in shock before she glared at the Weather Dopant as Thunder and Tsubasa landed back on the ground.
The Weather Dopant took a moment to breathe before he dusted on his shoulder.
"I'll admit you caught me off guard there. But don't expect that it will work again." He told them.
Thunder, Tsubasa, and Chris then surrounded the Weather Dopant on three sides as they were ready to attack and the Weather Dopant in turn were waiting for them.
But that's when they heard a horse roaring as it was close by. Everyone looked and saw a robotic horse standing on the roof that was on top of the chairs.
The robotic horse was quite large and was colored black with golden metal pieces. It also has green eyes with a golden lance shaped weapon on the back to act its mane, and golden tail on its back. On its rear legs, the horse has two halves of a shield that is also colored black with golden thunderbolt markings on it along with having extra armor pieces.
The robotic horse roars once again as it stands on its rear legs and kicks its front legs.
"The heck? A horse?" Chris said in confusion.
"What is this?!" The Weather Dopant said in confusion which Thunder heard.
"Wait…It's not with you?" Thunder said.
That's when the robot horse jumps down to the football field and it soon charges at the Weather Dopant to attack him, the Dopant avoids the charging horse by jumping out of its path.
"It's on our side?" Tsubasa said.
The robotic horse then turns its sights on Thunder, Tsubasa, and Chris before it roars as it stands on its rear legs while kicking its front legs and charges at Rider and two Symphogear warriors.
"You spoke too soon?!" Thunder said as they avoided its attack.
The horse soon turns and charges at Tsubasa to ram its head on her, Tsubasa blocks it with her sword but the robotic horse manages to throw the sword-wielder up in the air.
Then as Tsubasa was falling towards it, the robotic horse turned around and was ready to attack her with its rear legs. It was too late to avoid it, so Tsubasa crossed her arms to block before the horse threw its legs at her and landed in front of her arms and the force of its attack was enough to send Tsubasa flying before she crashed into a wall.
"Tsubasa!" Thunder said in worry as Tsubasa fell on her knees as her arms were shaking due to feeling the force of the horse's attacks.
"Be careful! That thing has strong legs." Tsubasa said before she shook her arms.
That's when Chris fired her guns at the robotic horse but her bullets weren't able to damage its thick armor, the robot horse then turned at her.
"Fall dammit! Fall!" Chris said.
The robot horse charges at Chris to attack her, and it was too late for her to dodge.
"Move it! Bart!" Said Thunder as she pushes Chris out of its way as the robotic horse rams her instead and sends Thunder to the ground.
"Kanade!/Old hag!" Tsubasa and Chris said.
Just as Thunder move to her back, the robotic horse was right on top of it before it attacks Thunder by stomping its feet at her, Thunder avoids them by moving to the left and to the right, she then thrust her lance right in front of it which forces the robot horse to stumble back and Thunder stood back up.
"Just what are you? Why are you attacking us?" Thunder questions but instead of answering the robotic horse roars and continues to attack her along with Tsubasa and Chris while ignoring the Weather Dopant as he watches.
"Hmmm…Not sure if I can call this a blessing but it works." The Weather Dopant said before he turned to the sleeping W and Philip and approached them. "I would like to examine your body in depth, but you also ruined my fun before."
The Weather Dopant then uses his powers to create a dark thunder cloud above W and Philip and shoot down thunderbolts around them.
Thunder along with the Symphogear soon saw what he was doing.
"Philip!" Chris said in worry before she dodges another attack from the robot horse.
"Mitsuki!" Thunder and Tsubasa said before they also dodge an attack from the horse.
Back in the dream world, Philip begins to wonder who the Nightmare Dopant's identity was since he told him and W that he wasn't Professor Akagi.
"If you're not Professor Akagi, then just who are you?" Philip asked before he suddenly disappears and leaves the dream world.
"Nani?!" W said in shock to see that.
In the real world, W reverts to his civilian form but Mitsuki was still asleep while Philip woke up as he sat up.
That's when Philip saw his friends fighting the robotic horse and saw that the Weather Dopant was standing beside him which made Philip stand up.
"Isaka Shinkurou." Philip said.
"My policy is to not forgive those who interrupt my fun." The Weather Dopant said before he fired another thunderbolt down towards Philip, just as Philip braced himself, the Fang Memory soon appeared and took the hit of the thunderbolt to protect its master as it landed on the ground and growled at the Dopant.
Philip then took this chance to run away with Fang following him along with the Weather Dopant.
Chris notices as she turns to Philip as the Weather Dopant chases after him. Just as the robotic horse charges to attack while she isn't looking, Thunder and Tsubasa block and stop it by using their weapons before Chris turns to them.
"Yukine! Go and protect Philip! We'll handle this thing!" Tsubasa told her.
"But…" Chris said as she looked at the horse and to Philip.
"Hey! We got this! Go and save your boyfriend already!" Thunder told her.
Chris' cheeks turned red to hear that but said this.
"Thanks." Chris said before she rushed to Philip to protect him from the Weather Dopant.
"Did she just say thanks?" Thunder asked and Tsubasa nodded.
"She did."
"Wish I got that on camera!" Thunder said before she and Tsubasa pushed the robotic horse back and they continued to battle it.
Now that Philip is gone, the Nightmare Dopant moves on top of the Magistrate's floor.
"Lucky! Now the obstacle is gone." He said before he turned back to W and threw his basket away. "I can take my time to finish you off."
The Nightmare Dopant then jumps down and grabs onto W as they roll on the ground. Both W and the Dopant stood back up to resume their battle, with W kicking and punching at the Dopant but he blocked his attacks before the Nightmare Dopant dragged W back to the streets and threw him to the ground.
W rolled on the ground before he stood back up but ended up bumping into a group of people.
"Oh! Sorry!" He said before they ran away as the Nightmare Dopant approached them.
Just as W turns to the Nightmare Dopant, he begins to attack the dual-theme Rider as he pushes W back. The Nightmare Dopant then kicks W and sends him falling on top of a cart.
"Here I come!" The Nightmare Dopant said as he began to push the cart forward with W still on top of it.
"Hey! Stop screwing around!" W said before the Dopant suddenly stopped pushing which sent W flying off of the cart and rolled on the ground.
When W stops, he soon stands up and calls out to his partner.
"Hey, Philip! What happened?!"
In the real world, Philip had run to the seats of the football field before he fell on one of them.
Just as Philip turns to the Weather Dopant, he fires a thunderbolt at him and Fang jumps in to protect its master from the attack.
After that, the Weather Dopant was fired upon by bullets and saw it was Chris before she and Fang moved in front of him to protect Philip.
"Not bad. But can you block this?" The Weather Dopant said before he summons a tornado around Chris and Fang and uses it to fly them away with Chris crashing onto the railing.
"Fang! Chris-chan!" Philip said in worry.
"You should worry about yourself first." The Weather Dopant said as he readied one finger.
"Philip…" Chris mutters as she slowly stands up.
Philip then turns away to run away, but it is too late as the Weather Dopant shoots down lightning at him, after seeing that Chris stands up and rushes to Philip to save him…but it is too late as the lightning strikes Philip from the back as he screams in pain before he falls to the far end of the seats.
"Philip!" Chris said in worry as she rushed to his side and shook his shoulders. "Philip! Philip!"
In their battle against the robotic horse, Thunder and Tsubasa looked and saw the state Philip was now in.
"Oh, no…Philip." Thunder said in worry.
"Philip! Philip! Wake up…Please! Philip…PHILIP!" Chris cries out as she continues to shake Philip's body.

Before you ask questions, yes, the horse that appeared and attacked Kanade and the others is indeed based around the Dark Magic Horse Barikion from Magiranger. Only it's not a giant robot, it's a normal size robot horse.
