Disclaimer: teen wolf does not belong to me in any way shape or form.
Welcome to the next chapter :) I'm really enjoying this rewrite and hope to update at least once a week, probably twice though, so hopefully won't have too long to wait and a massive thank you to all those choosing to follow and favourite and a big shout out to guest, RubyGemGreen, Natalie Jarrett and Wikked for reviewing it means the world, you're the best 3
Her self assured and confident, flirty attitude had obviously caught the buzzcut boy off guard because for the remainder of their class together she caught him staring at her from the corner of her eye, looking like he was wanting to ask her more questions but kept stopping himself. Maybe because of the fact she had a mega resting bitch face on or because he didn't have much practice talking to girls, who knew, but she found it amusing none the less.
Chemistry dragged, Mr Harris' authoritive and dry tone sounding like nails on a chalk board as he droned on and on and on, lecturing them about god knows what. Every so often he would pause in his speech, his seedy eyes glaring between every single one of them and then settle on her for a long period of time, like he had already branded her 'trouble'.
She didn't know what on earth could've caused him to make such an accurate assumption, probably just pushing her into the same box that he put every teenager in because, let's face it, he definitely seemed ageist.
But she had no sympathy for him - why work with teenagers if he hated them?
So every time his eyes found their way to hers she would just offer up a sickly sweet smile in return, watching his nostrils flare slightly with the effort not to chastise her. If anything, it was quite amusing. Deliberately getting under his skin, watching his reaction - It's not like anything else exciting would happen in this god forsaken town.
The shrill ring of the bell overhead cut through her ears like a double edged sword, making her groan under her breath as she grabbed her bag off the floor, stuffing her notebook and pen in it and flinging it over her shoulder. The shy boy she had been sat next to, the one with the dirty blonde curly hair hurried past her, brushing her arm on the way past. She shot his departing back a strange look, rolling his eyes at his odd behaviour.
"So um..." a shy quiet voice spoke from behind her, a finger gently tapping her on the shoulder, "I just thought, seeming how we're both new... maybe we should hang out for the day? You know, like a buddy system"
She met Allison's kind but timid stare, her warm brown eyes brimming with hopefulness and, despite being an Argent, Kayla felt a little bit drawn to her. She wasn't sure why because usually the name 'Argent' brought a bitter taste to her mouth, but Allison seemed so innocent to it all. Just a simple highschool girl wanting a friend. There was no way this girl was, or could be, a ruthless killer.
And for the first time since she could remember, Kayla was now in that exact same position - friendless. Not that it overly bothered her too much, she hadn't exactly been wanting friends or being the best friend since losing her dad and brother, caught up in everything bad and corrupt, so maybe it was about time she turned that around.
"Sure" Kayla smiled in return, "I need to find my locker first though"
Allison breathed an audible sigh of relief, beginning to emerge from the curtain of her hair she was used to hiding behind, "me too"
They were the last to exit the class, Mr Harris' death glare following them out into the hallway as they managed to track down their lockers, coincidentally, just one apart from each other.
"They must've thought to stick the new girls together" Allison chuckled, putting in her combination and stuffing some books in.
"I'm not all that new here" Kayla said, doing the same to her locker, "I have... well, had family here. I used to spend a couple of weeks here every summer"
"Oh, nice" Allison commented, "so where did you move from?"
"Louisiana" she answered, before joking, "can't you tell by my annoying southern drawl?"
Allison giggled, "it's only very faint"
"But still annoying none the less" she playfully remarked, "lived there as long as I can remember. Apparently we moved around a lot when I was born. God knows why my parents chose there"
"I know the feeling" Allison said, "I usually move school every six to twelve months. It gets exhausting"
Kayla resisted a snort... well, yeah, when your family are werewolf hunters, they kind of have to go where the werewolves go, not sit around and wait for them.
"So why here?" Kayla asked, slamming her locker shut as she tried to understand why her family decided Beacon Hills was worthy of their attention, "why this little town?"
Allison shrugged, "my dad is a private security consultant and a firearms dealer-" of course he was "-I think it just means he has to go where the job takes him... and he takes us with him"
"... interesting" Kayla smiled tightly, "oh uh, I think you have yourself a fan" nodding her chin in the direction of the boys she was sitting adjacent to in chemistry, the quiet one with the floppy hair and squint jaw looking over at Allison in complete and utter adoration.
Allison glanced over, a small blush forming on her cheeks as she smiled back at the boy, an instant connection forming.
"Go speak to him" Kayla encouraged but immediately Allison shook her head, her eyes wide and surprised at that suggestion.
"Oh my god, no" she rushed out, "I... I don't do that"
"Well I do" Kayla was just about to stride over there to do her new friend a favour but Allison caught her wrist, pulling her back to the lockers.
"Not yet" she said quietly, "maybe I should settle in first..."
"Your loss" Kayla quipped with a smirk, glancing back over to the boys only this time it was the other one, the one with the buzzcut, that was looking over in their direction - or, more accurately, her direction.
She met his stare head on, her strong gaze probably somewhat intimidating because he gaped at getting caught, clumsily flailing about before jerkily raising his hand in the air and twisting it into a wave, his face slightly pink and flushed.
She arched a single brow, a flirtatious smirk pulling at her lips as she watched him mouth "oh my god" in compete astonishment, turning back to his friend.
Her amusement was cut short by a flurry of curly strawberry blonde hair, pulling both her and Allison's attention away from the boys and to the perky little redhead standing in front of them.
"That jacket is absolutely killer... where did you get it?" This strange little person asked Allison, an overly friendly smile pulling at her lips.
"Oh uh... my mom was a buyer for a boutique back in San Francisco" Allison answered with a smile, awkwardly adjusting her back on her shoulder.
"And you are my new best friend" the girl laughed, pointing at Allison before turning her attention to Kayla, their headstrong and confident stares colliding and Kayla could tell by the glint in this girls eyes, that she knew Kayla could give back just as good as she got.
The girl looked her up and down, studying every inch of her like she was picking the best piece of meat down at the butchers and Kayla just cocked her head to the side, raising her brows.
"Is there something I can help you with?"
The strawberry blonde pursed her lips for a couple of seconds before smiling, "you... I like you" she decided, "I could work with this" she waved her hand out towards her figure, "effortlessly gorgeous. Though, not as gorgeous as me of course"
"Oh, of course" Kayla agreed sarcastically whilst nodding her head, making Allison hide a giggle behind her hand.
"I'm Lydia" the perky redhead declared, "Lydia Martin"
The girl said that as if it was supposed to mean something; like it held some sort of weight which Kayla was sure it did. One look at this girl and she could tell she ran this school. The perfect queen bee.
Allison began to introduce herself but Lydia waved her away, "don't be so silly. Of course I know who you both are. I've done my homework"
Again; this did not surprise Kayla one bit.
Someone new swooped in, some run of the mill good looking guy who wrapped his arms around Lydia's waist causing the latter to let out a delighted squeak.
"Oh, and this is Jackson"
Typical pretty boy name.
They both kissed, teeth and tongues clacking together before coming up for air, arms around each other.
"New girls" Jackson commented, looking them both up and down, "it's not often people move here - and look, two for the price of one"
She resisted an eye roll, trying to play nice.
Lydia smirked, "so, this weekend, there's a party"
"A-A party?" Allison asked, beginning to look a little uncomfortable.
"Yeah Friday night, you both should come. It'll be a blast. Then you can meet everyone properly"
"Oh uh, I can't" Allison apologised, "Friday night is family night"
Family night as in board games and ice cream or family night as in toasting wereowlf hide over a bonfire?
Jackson moved his gaze to her, "what about you?"
"Parties don't really agree with me" she said, knowing she should stay well away from the party scene before her mom really did kick her out of the house.
"Are you sure? Everyone's going there after the scrimmage"
"You mean like football?"
Jackson scoffed, "Allison, football here is a joke. We play lacrosse"
"Yeah, you know, that game with the little sticks and the little ball that they fight over to get into a little net?" She asked Allison with a fake, overly enthusiastic tone of voice and Jackson glared at her.
"We've won the last three state championships" he remarked proudly, his voice cocky and arrogant.
"And all because of a certain team captain" Lydia said, bigging up her beau as she ruffled his hair, "and we will win again this year"
"Yeah. As long as those two stay on the bench" Jackson remarked, nodding his chin in the direction of the two boys from earlier, "if either of those get even two seconds on the field, we're dead in the water"
She glanced back at the boys, this time the floppy haired one was still gazing at Allison and the one with the buzzcut was in some sort of playful/exasperated debate or conversation with another girl, talking about what she had no idea.
"So we have practice in a few minutes" pretty boy hinted, "that is if the two of you don't have anything else..."
"Of course they don't" Lydia interrupted, reaching forward to grab a hand of theirs each, "we support our team here. It's important"
Kayla was just about to make some excuse as Lydia began dragging them away but before she could, Allison shot her a very pointed look.
"Don't you dare" she whispered, looking slightly panicked, "if I have to go, so do you"
Kayla just rolled her eyes in return, left to be pulled along by the boisterous redhead out into the cool air, heading towards the bleachers on the field.
"And this is going to be the most boring half hour of my life" she remarked, watching all the guys warm up, sitting down next to Allison with Lydia on the far side, "I could be napping right now, I hope you know that"
Lydia sent her a displeased look, "it's school spirit. Plus, you get to check out hot guys. Don't try and tell me that doesn't intrigue you"
She had bad luck with hot guys too... maybe she should avoid them as well.
She was too tired to retort back, wrapping her coat around her frame as she allowed her eyes to drag over each one of the players. Their firm, athletic bodies were appealing to the eye, she would be stupid to deny that, but she just knew each one of them would cause her nothing but trouble.
And trouble, she was trying to stay out of.
At least for the time being when things were still raw and delicate, her recovery still fragile and easily waylaid.
Lydia smirked knowingly, "don't worry, I can set you up with a deliciously hunky lacrosse player. Any one of your choosing"
"Tempting, but I'll pass"
Lydia let out an indignant sound of exclamation, "don't be so ridiculous. They're the finest pick of the bunch"
"And probably half of them spreads chlamydia" she retorted with a small laugh, "I'm done with boys"
Lydia quirked a brow at her, leaning around Allison to send her a knowing look, "do spill" she urged, "what boy made you come to that decision?"
"One with a very bad temper"
It looked like something clicked in Lydia, like she understood what Kayla was talking about and it didn't surprise her one bit - Jackson was clearly arrogant and cocky, probably a bully too, of course he would have an attitude and a temper, especially if things didn't go his way. She just got that vibe off him the meer five minutes she spent with him.
Within a split second, Lydia's knowing expression was wiped from her face, a devilish smirk pulling at her lips.
"Well, that's just not good enough. My girls need boyfriends" glancing between her and Allison, "don't worry, leave it to me. I'm better than Cupid"
Kayla just pursed her lips; sharing a dread filled look with Allison but she knew it would be futile to argue with the petite redhead. Somehow, she knew, the gorgeous strawberry blonde always got her own way - regardless of how it happened.
Practice was just about to start, the exuberant and loud coach blowing his whistle.
"Um... who's that?" Allison asked Lydia curiously, inclining her head towards the floppy haired boy that had been shooting Allison lovey dovey eyes earlier.
"Who, him?" Lydia asked, cocking her head to the side as she looked at the boy who, as Kayla settled her eyes on him, looked as if he was directly watching and reacting to what was being said, "I don't know who he is"
Kayla frowned as she watched his eyes behind the helmet suddenly narrow in annoyance and for a brief second she wondered... could he be a-
Pfft, no. She scoffed at her own thoughts, shaking her head. There was absolutely no way this shy, awkward kid was a werewolf. No way.
"Why do you want to know?" Lydia asked, probably wondering why Allison was enquiring about someone so far down the food chain, because someone unpopular was obviously not to be looked at.
"Oh um... he's in my English class"
"And Chem class" Kayla added, "you were both basically having eye sex"
Allison's eyes circled into large orbs, mortified at the suggestion but Lydia didn't have a chance to say anything because shrill of the whistle continuously being blown snapped their attention back to the field and what she saw made her suspicions from before increase.
The floppy haired boy collapsed into a heap in the net, his gloved hands grabbing at his head in the helmet and he looked in a great deal of pain, flinching and squirming at the sound.
Okay, now that, was sus.
She heard the other lacrosse players laugh at the boy as the lacrosse ball soared forward and hit him square in the front of the helmet causing him to fall back.
Hmmm, very weird indeed.
Something didn't feel right about this sitution, watching closely as he pulled himself to his feet, swinging the lacrosse stick around in his hands as he prepared for the second lacrosse ball that came flying at him only this time he caught it expertly in the net, casting a surprised look to his stick.
His reflexes seemed good - scarily good. Almost inhuman.
She wondered if this was unusual for him, if this sudden display of talent just happened overnight so she glanced around the crowd, watching as they all reacted in surprise and found herself following a voice exclaiming "yeah", glancing to the side to see buzzcut boy grinning at his friend in something close to disbelief.
Okay, so obviously, unusual.
She watched again as he caught the next ball and the one after that, continually catching them expertly as if he was born to do this.
"Huh... he seems like he's pretty good" Allison said almost proudly, clearly enticed by the boy even more.
"Yeah... really good" Lydia admired, new found interest burning bright in her eyes.
She sat there in silence, a frown etched between her brows as she watched Jackson, clearly unnerved and rattled by apparent talent of the floppy haired boy, push his way to the front of line and spin his lacrosse stick around almost threateningly, his stance offensive and aggressive.
She payed close attention to how the floppy haired boy nervously settled on placing his feet, holding out his stick as he waited for Jackson to aggressive throw the ball, soaring through the air at such a speed she almost couldn't follow it and, surprisingly, the boy caught the ball with ease, his movements fluids and smooth.
Everyone cheered, both in surprise and glee, even Lydia jumped up to shout out and she just sat there, her suspisions heightening.
Something was off.
Could he be a werewolf?
Could he be a werewolf and not know about it?
She had grown up surrounded by werewolves, understanding and knowing their behaviour and, despite not being one herself, she had a pretty good grasp of knowing and sensing when someone wasn't entirely human.
Her attention was stolen again by the exuberant and boisterous shouting from buzzcut boy, yelling out in joy, his arms flailing in the air as he screamed out, "oh yeah, that's my friend - woooo"
She admired his devotion to his, very obviously, best friend, but it didn't distract her from the very clear fact that something wasn't right.
Guess she had to pay her big cousin a visit later.
When school was over she bid farewell to Allison and Lydia, making her way through the parking lot to her car, a Toyota rav4 in grey, slinging her crap into the passenger side as she slipped into the drivers side, starting up her engine and fighting her way through the busy parking lot.
She hadn't heard from Derek in months, her older cousin falling off the radar - which wasn't unusual - but just had the strangest feeling he would be back here. He often returned, for what she didn't know. It wasn't like he had much to return to. Their family dead and gone, apart from two.
Derek's older sister, Laura, and his - their - uncle, Peter.
Unlike Laura who was a live wire, never staying in one place too long, Peter was unresponsive and basically comatose from severe burns from the fire six years ago, destined to live out the rest of his traumatised life in the long stay unit at Beacon memorial.
A sad waste of a life, Kayla thought.
Maybe it would've been kinder if he had died.
A sickening feeling erupted deep within her stomach the closer she got to the burnt down ruins of the house, driving slowly up the private dirt track split through the woods.
The house that once stood tall and proud was now just a shell of its itself, crumbling and rotting into the ground. The entire back of it had long since collapsed, the fire wreaking havoc through the bones of the building.
She didn't know why the county hadn't deemed it a hazard and tore the rest of it down, but she assumed there was legal restrictions. Laura, being the oldest, had gained rights to the land, the multiple acres in her hands.
But still... she didn't understand why she didn't get it torn down herself. Surely it was nothing more than a bad memory, a kick to the gut every time they laid eyes on it?
The tires crunched over leaves and broken twigs on the ground, her entrance anything but subtle.
If Derek was here, he would know of her arrival. Werewolf hearing was a handy thing, after all. Not that she would know from personal experience but she had seen it in action plenty of times.
She slipped out of her car, deliberately slamming the car door shut a little louder than usual as she glanced around.
The woods was silent, eerily quiet. Maybe, subconsciously, it knew what happened here. Knew of all the lives that had been visciously taken, forever tainting this once beautiful spot.
She swallowed thickly, wrapping her arms around her torso as she walked towards the burnt front porch, shivers erupting down her spine.
She hated being back here... it was creepy.
She stopped before she reached the porch steps, something in her gut telling her not to go any further forward.
"Derek?" She called out, eyes darting from side to side, "come on Derek, I know you're here. I'm sure I saw your camaro parked around back"
A black silhouette caught the corner of her eye and she turned around, seeing Derek emerge from the side of the house.
"You don't call, you don't write... anyone would think you were dead" she joked lightheartedly but, secretly, was a little hurt. He was always like a big brother to her, so how could he just disappear for months on end without so much as a goodbye?
"Kayla" his stoic expression melted into a very small smile but there was pain in his eyes, his demeanour defeated, "it's good to see you"
"I should hope so" she quipped, folding her arms across her chest, quirking a brow in an accusatory manner, "where the hell have you been? I haven't seen you since... since the funerals..."
His gaze softened, remembering the funerals of her dad and brother just over a year ago, "I'm sorry. There was a lot going on"
"Yeah, I bet" she grumbled under her breath but knew he could still hear every word she said, "what are you doing back here? And please don't tell me you're staying here" she added, sending Derek a worried glance, "what's wrong with a hotel?"
Derek's expression tightened, almost unnoticeably, but Kayla noticed - she always did - a keen eye for perception.
"I came back for Laura"
"Oh" Kayla remarked, "Laura's here?"
Derek seemed to shrink into his leather jacket, new found vulnerability pulsating off him.
"Laura's dead"
His monotonous tone made the revelation all the more shocking, completely knocking all the air from her limbs in a surprised whoosh.
"W-What?" She asked breathlessly, "what do you mean Laura's dead? How?"
Derek glanced at the ground, his expression twisted into pain, "I don't know. But I plan to find out"
A sickening realisation crippled her, her throat burning with emotion. Could it be the reason the Argents were here? To finish off the job?
"Hunters?"
Derek's eyes burned with hatred, "possibly"
"... The Argents are back in town" she said quietly, watching Derek snap his head up in shock, "and not just for a passing visit. Their only daughter just enrolled in school today"
Derek's strong jaw clenched, his fists clenching as his claws emerged slightly, "does she know about us?"
Kayla shook her head, "don't think so. She's too... nice"
"Argents aren't nice" Derek contradicted, "be careful. If they think you pose a risk-"
"I'm no werewolf, just a Hale" she interrupted, "hurting me would go against their precious code"
"It hasn't stopped them before"
Kayla cocked a brow at her cousin, "you still think they did it?"
"Who else could it have been?"
"They aren't the only hunting family"
"No, but they are one of the best" Derek spoke coldly, "and one of the most ruthless"
Kayla sighed heavily, her tired and grief stricken brain beginning to put two and two together.
"Wait... is that..." she gulped back the disgust, "the kids at school were talking about finding a body in the woods - half a body. Was that Laura?"
Derek nodded once, confirming her worst fears.
"This fucking family is cursed" she muttered, sniffing back the onslaught of tears that were pushing forward, "haven't we lost enough?"
Derek closed the distance between them, reaching out a surprisingly gentle hand to rest on her shoulder, his unusually soft eyes meeting her exhausted gaze.
"I'll kill whoever did this" he vowed, "no one hurts my family"
She laid her hand over his, subconsciously leaning into his arm, missing her big cousin.
"I'm happy to see you Der" she whispered, "this past year has been... hell" she settled on saying, "and moving to this shitty little town is the last thing I wanted but if you're here... maybe it won't be too bad"
He smiled a little, his forehead still set in sadness.
"Watch your back" he warned, "I sense something is brewing. Something bad"
"Right" she muttered, his hand dropping from her shoulder, "that's why I came here. There's this kid in my class acting... weird"
"Weird how?"
"I don't know, but I could swear he could hear what we were saying from over a hundred feet away. And suddenly he's gotten really good at lacrosse - like scarily good. Too good, if you know what I mean"
Derek frowned, "you think he's a werewolf?"
She shrugged, "if he is, I don't think he knows he is. Does that mean there's an Alpha here?"
Derek gazed past her head, his eyes darting from side to side as his mind raced, "Laura was an Alpha... but I can't see her doing this. It's not her style"
"Unless... unless a hunter didn't kill her" she threw out there, "what if it was another wolf who killed her for her Alpha status and then turned this kid? What if he, she, they, whatever... what if they're starting a pack?"
Derek's eyes burned with realisation, "then we have a very big problem"
Kayla just sighed, "of course we do. When don't we?"
Derek's head inclined to the side, his eyes unfocusing as he concentrated on listening to something Kayla couldn't hear, making her feel out of the loop.
"Uh... care to enlighten me?"
Derek rolled his eyes, "trespassers. Stay here"
"Uh..." she glanced once more at the burned down house, the wood creaking lightly in the wind and frowned, "yeah, no way in hell"
She followed several steps behind him, ignoring his huffs for her to stay where she was but she didn't pay attention to him, following him deeper into the woods.
Derek suddenly stopped, making her crash into his back as she huffed out a grunt at his lack of due care and attention, stepping to the side as she laid eyes on the boys from before - floppy hair and buzzcut boy, the latter standing with his hands in his pockets as the other searched for something on the ground.
Huh... small world.
Buzzcut boy was the first to notice them standing there, Kayla with an amused smirk on her face as she stood there with her arms crossed and Derek with a deathly glare twisted on his features, the boy reaching down to slap his friends shoulder to alert him to their presence.
"What are you doing here, huh?" Derek demanded, taking a few steps forward closer to the boys, no doubt making them both shit their pants, "this is private property"
Buzzcut boy swallowed nervously, his right hand coming up to rest on the back of his head, "oh uh, sorry man, we didn't know"
She snorted to herself at the shitty excuse, buzzcut boys eyes falling to her, a nervous glint returning to his brown irises.
"Yeah, sorry, we uh... we were just looking for something... but it doesn't matter-"
Derek interrupted floppy haired boy, simply reached into his pocket, pulling out an inhaler and throwing it to him who caught it expertly, frowning down at the inhaler in surprise. Derek, being the antisocial broody being he was, stalked away back they way they came, leaving her staring at the two boys in amusement.
"That's probably the most he's spoken this year" she opened with a lighthearted joke, trying to make the boys relax a little, "being polite isn't exactly at the top of his priorities"
"We can tell" buzzcut boy exclaimed, wiping his sweaty palms of his hands on his slacks, "uh, sorry for intruding"
"It's fine... you're not hurting anyone"
He shared a look with his friend, both clearly wondering the same thing but too scared to ask.
"He's my cousin" she enlightened them, rolling her eyes at their fear of asking, "my dad was his moms brother"
"Oh... cool" buzzcut boy mumbled, still looking like he had a million and one questions to ask, "that's... cool. Uh... did-did your first day go okay?"
She smiled, "you're the first one to ask me that"
"I-I am?" His voice squeaked, a few octaves higher than usual as he pointed at his own chest, glancing behind himself as if checking she was definitely still talking and referring to him.
"As okay as can be expected, I suppose" she mused, "It is school after all"
Buzzcut boy chuckled, "right, of course. Uh..." he glanced at his friend who was smirking at him, "maybe-maybe you heard but uh, there's this party on Friday and, yeah uh... just figured it was my duty to let you know. In case you were wanting to go. I don't know if parties are your thing or not..."
"Friday?" She questioned with a smirk, "that's a full moon... all the crazies come out then" she was playing with them, hinting at what was to come.
Buzzcut boy swallowed nervously, looking at his floppy haired friend and Kayla wondered if he was putting the pieces of the puzzle together because, let's face it, he seemed like the type.
"Oh, uh... yeah, if you believe that kind of stuff..." he added with an uncomfortable chuckle.
"Don't you?"
His eyes met hers, nervous energy pulsating off him in waves, "should I?"
She smirked, her playful yet calm energy unnerving Stiles to the core, "you don't want to see my crazy side..."
"All sides of you seem good. Uh... um-" he flushed, cursing himself for the lack of coolness he was exhibiting, "I didn't mean that. Well I did but-"
"I'll catch you later buzzcut boy" she interrupted with a chuckle, beginning to walk away but his voice called out to her again, some part of him compelled to not end the conversation there.
"It's-It's Stiles. I am. I'm Stiles" he shouted to her, "you can call me Stiles"
She simply laughed as she walked away, feeling his eyes on her the entire time, completely mesmerised.
Upon returning back to the Hale house, Derek was waiting for her, leaning against her car.
"Is that the kid you were talking about?"
She nodded once, "yeah. Strange for an asthmatic that he can play lacrosse that good, huh?"
"Keep an eye on him" Derek ordered, "it's a full moon Friday. We don't need more bloodshed"
She raised her hand into a sarcastic salute, "aye aye captain"
Guess, on Friday, she was going to that party after all.
A/N) eeeeek, I'm really enjoying this process. This is a brand spanking new chapter that wasn't included in the original book, because in that book Kayla wasn't here yet so I'm having fun really getting into the nitty gritty and detailing lots. It's so fun. Hope you all enjoyed and please please review it means the world :)
