"Hiya, fellas!"

All three of them wigged out. "Wahahahahhaaaa!"

"Webby, don't do that!" Louie threw a tube of hair gel at her. It bounced off her night vision goggles and fell on Dewey's head.

Webby lifted her goggles, a bashful smile spreading across her face. "Heh, sorry, guys. Old habits die hard I guess. Especially when you're literally a spy for a living." She climbed in through the small window and swung over the two boys stuck in the tub, landing perfectly in front of Louie.

Dewey shoved Huey off of him and sat up in the bathtub. "Webby, what on earth are you doing here?"

Louie grabbed her goggles off the top of her head, raising his eyebrow. "A better question: why are you wearing night vision goggles during the day?"

Dewey threw his hands up. "How is that a better question?!"

"She's wearing them during the day!"

"She's Webby, of course she's wearing night vision goggles during the day!"

Oh wow, I missed this. "Boys, boys, one question at a time. " Webby stepped between them, rocking back and forth from her heels to her toes. Eeeee! I haven't seen them in so long. They're just like they've always been, fighting over dumb things. "First off, the goggles work as binoculars during the day so that I can-" She froze. "Woah, what happened to Huey's hair?"

"Mmrph…" Huey grumbled, stepping on Dewey to climb out of the tub. He stood in front of the mirror and started messing with it.

Louie cleared his throat. "That's a whole other story. Let's not get distracted."

"Webby, what are you doing here?"

She leaned back against the wall. "Scrooge called and asked me to find you. I was supposed to stay hidden and report back to him what you were up to, but I didn't want to be dishonest. Besides, I haven't seen you guys in months! Seemed a little dumb for me to be so close to you just to spy on you."

Louie spoke up as he hopped onto the sink. "Wait, wait, back it up. Uncle Scrooge hired you to hunt us down?"

"I wouldn't say hunt. I'm not trying to spear you or drag you away to get eaten by my young like some predator."

"Why can I actually see that happening?"

"No, no, no… that's not why he asked me to-"

"It sure sounds like it," Huey mumbled, dumping water on his curls and smoothing them down, only for them to hop back up, bouncier than before.

"Old Scrooge doesn't trust us, huh?" Dewey mumbled.

"What? No! He trusts you." She rubbed the back of her neck. "He and Della are concerned that you're getting into trouble. But, don't worry, I assured them that you weren't up to anything and that you were just having a nice, quiet road trip. No funny business. I'll just tell him that you guys are visiting Drake and Gosalyn."

Dewey sat back in the tub, kicking his feet over the edge and folding his arms behind his head. "Pffft, come on. You know us better than that."

She blinked. "What do you mean?"

"You told him we weren't up to anything?"

"Well, yeah."

A smug smile slid across his face.

"Oh Dewey… you don't mean-" She heaved a sigh. "This is going to end in me helping you guys do something crazy without your mom and Scrooge knowing, isn't it?"

Dewey bobbed his head as he picked something out of his teeth. "Trust me, Webbs, it's right up your alley. It'll be just like old times."

Louie smirked. "He's got a point. We could really use your special set of skills to help us break into DASA headquarters."

Webby's eyes grew big. "DASA HEADQUARTERS?! Are you crazy?!" I know these three tend to get in over their heads, but this is ridiculous.

"It's for a good cause."

Webby sat down on the edge of the tub by Dewey's legs. He had that childish look of wonder in his eyes again. "What good cause could you possibly have for breaking into one of the most secure, high-tech, scientifically advanced buildings in Duckburg?"

Dewey jumped up, puffing his chest out and pointing at the sky. "The truth! Remember how you helped me uncover the truth about Mom? You kept me going even when I felt like giving up… like the truth would hurt more than not knowing. And it was worth it." He sat on the edge next to her. "Now we have a chance to find our dad… to know the whole truth. I'd call that a worthy cause."

Webby gasped. "Your dad?" "She glanced at all three of them. Huey had stopped messing with his hair and stood there with his eyes set on the floor. Louie leaned back on the sink, kicking his legs and looking as nonchalant as ever. Dewey set his hand on her shoulder and smiled.

"As always, your timing is perfect. Honestly, if I had to pick any people in the world to do this with, I'd pick you three… and just you three." He grabbed her night vision goggles off the floor and set them back on her head. "We're the dream team… and it wouldn't feel right uncovering dark truths about the Duck family without Webbigail Vander-McDuck by our side. What do you say?"

Dream team? Together? SECRETS?! Webby's whole body trembled. Adrenaline rushed through her system until she squealed with joy. "Another McDuck family secret?! AHHHHHH! Are you kidding?! Of course I'm going with you! I wouldn't miss this for the world!" She shook Dewey by the shoulders before pulling him into a hug. "Awww, I miss doing this kind of stuff with you guys."

Dewey enveloped her in his arms and gave her a tight squeeze. "This is officially the best roadtrip ever!"

"Team work-"

"-makes the dream work!" They high fived.

"Ugh, no. If you two start singing, I am leaving." Louie hopped off the sink.

"Aw, come on. It's not the same without a good old fashioned Dewebby duet!"

Together, the two of them harmonized while Louie covered his ears. "A duet with Deeewwey and Webby!" Webby giggled and they high-fived again.

"It's bad enough that I have to look at Huey's hair the rest of the trip. Don't make it a whole musical between you two on top of it."

"It is that bad. I knew it!" Huey threw his arms over his hair.

Webby stood up, circling Huey and reaching out to mess with it. "It's just a little curly. What's the big deal? I know lots of people who would love to have hair like yours."

"What's the big deal? If my hair continues to look like the rear end of a labradoodle, it will be the end of Huey Duck's social life as we know it!"

"What social life?" Webby scratched her head. Last I knew, we were his only friends.

"Bfffft!" Louie and Dewey burst out laughing. "She's right. You have no social life. It's like you think you're Mr. Cool Teen or something."

"Last I checked, you lost that competition and got a dumb set of braces instead. Goodbye Huey's social life!"

Huey's face grew bright red. He snatched Louie's hat off of his head and shoved it down over his curls.

"Hey! Give that back! Don't get your clown hair all over it. It's probably contagious." Louie tried to tackle him, only to get a hand shoved in his face.

Huey tripped him and he fell to the tile floor. "Oh get over it." With that, he walked out of the bathroom and slammed the door behind him.

Webby blinked. "Woah, what happened to him?"

Louie rubbed the back of his head, sitting up. "Is there such a thing as second puberty?"

"He's mad about everything." Dewey shrugged, rolling his eyes. "But especially his hair now that Gosalyn agreed to go out with him."

Webby's heart skipped a beat. She gasped and squeezed Dewey in a hug. "WHAT?! Why didn't you say that to begin with?! Huey's in love?!" She giggled and spun him around. "This is the BEST DAY EVER!"

Dewey coughed when she finally let go of him. He heaved a few breaths. "Uh, why?"

"Um… EVERYTHING! Love is a beautiful thing." She helped Louie up off the ground and danced around them both. "I can see it now. Their wedding… a honeymoon in Cape Suzette…" GASP She nearly screamed. "BABIES!"

Dewey grabbed her by the shoulders. "Woah there, pull the reins on the joy overload. No. Do not make me regret letting them go out together. It's just one date. ONE date. Stop talking about babies. That's gross!"

"It's one date that could lead to another and then another and then-"

Louie grabbed her by the beak. "Huey can't even get over his hair… I think we're a little far from all you've got planned."

"But aren't you excited?" She spun around and hugged them both by the neck. "Gosalyn could be your sister someday! Ya could have little nephews of ya own getting into trouble, going on adventures, pulling ya into schemes…" She feigned a Scottish accent. "Agh! I can see it all now!"

Dewey shook his head. "As much as I would love to be Uncle Scrooge… it can happen OVER MY DEAD BODY. Huey is NOT marrying Gosalyn and I'm NOT getting any nephews."

Webby rolled her eyes and squeezed their necks into a tighter hug, until their cheeks all squished together like three dumpling best friends. "Then it's our job to make it happen."

"NOOOOOOOOO!"

Louie's whole body slumped. "Yeah, slow down, Webby. Huey hasn't even planned a date yet and we're leaving for Duckburg today."

"Today?! Before they get to go on their first date? That's ridiculous!" Webby let go of them and took a step back. "Nope. That's not going to work."

"I think they'll be fine."

"Fine's not good enough!"

The two boys looked at each other and then back at her like she was wacko or something.

After all the times I've seen Huey stick up for the two of them over the years… they don't care even a little bit about supporting him? This is his dream! My dream! The McDuck legacy has to go on somehow. Webby took them both by the arm. "Nuh-uh. Not this time, boys. We are going to create the most romantic, beautiful first date and you're going to support your brother." She dragged them both out of the bathroom.

Louie put his feet out to stop, pulling away from her. "Uh, Webbs, I don't think Huey wants that."

"Nonsense! You two are just being selfish. We are going to commit this day to LOVE! Eheheehe!" Webby twirled and shook their arms. "This is going to be so much fun!"
