Chapter 52.
Chaos at the tower.
- "Fix it... fix the fact that I don't know where my daughter is?"- The president said.
- "It's not exactly our fault either... we had no idea about that."- Yamikumo said.
- "I agree... we were just doing our jobs according to what we knew."- Eraserhead said. - "But still... we have to solve this problem."-
- "We could try to interrogate those we caught."- Mirko said.
- "The police are already on it."- Eraserhead said. – "But unfortunately these guys are the type who prefer to die before even saying anything."-
- "I don't think it's necessary to interrogate them..."- Yamikumo said.
- "What do you mean?"- Mirko asked.
- "Call it a hunch..."- Yamikumo said pointing to one of the large screens on a nearby building.
Eraserhead and Mirko look at the screen, it seemed to be flashing between static and normal, after a few seconds, the interference stops revealing a Cheetah-like man next to a gagged blonde girl, the girl is approximately the same age as Yamikumo.
- "That's Cheetah, the leader of the group!"- Mirko said.
- "That's my daughter!"- The president said.
- *Hello everyone, mutant brothers, and inferior people.* - Cheetah from the screen said. – *You might wonder who I am... I'm Cheetah, leader of the pro-mutant group. I'm here to send a message... my group and I are at the Skytree tower in Tokyo... and we're going to blow it up!*-
- "Blow the Skytree tower…That guy is crazy!"- Mirko said.
- "He wants to send a message..."- Eraserhead said.
- *As you can see, I have hostages here... so I have a proposal... I want to speak directly with those in charge of the government and if we reach an agreement I promise not to do anything.* - Cheetah said. – *But if you try something... or heroes come... I guess you already know what will happen."-
- "He has hostages so it will be difficult to get close..."- Eraserhead.
- "That bastard..."- Mirko said.
- *Do you think we are the bad guys? No! You caused this!*- Cheetah said. – *We just wanted to live a normal life! But you with your prejudices! Your discrimination towards us is what led us to this! With this I end my speech... but remember how this ends will depend on you.* -
The screen turns off and then resumes its regular display.
- "Well... we now know where to go."- Mirko said.
- "Agreed."- Eraserhead said.
- "Didn't you hear what that guy said?"- The president asked. – "If you get close, the entire tower will blow up!"-
- "Not exactly, obviously we can get closer to the tower, what we can't do is act."- Yamikumo said.
- "Exactly, the best thing we can do now is go to the crime scene and analyze the situation."- Eraserhead said.
- "Don't worry Mr. President, we will resolve this whole matter."- Mirko said.
- "I hope so..."- The president said.
- "Alright, let's go."- Eraserhead said.
- "Hey, you're not my boss!"- Mirko said as he follows Eraserhead. – "But you're right, let's go!"-

Skytree Tower.
The trio along with the president arrive at the Skytree, upon arriving they notice how the place is surrounded by the police, no one can leave or enter, there are civilians and reporters in the place too.
- "Of course there are civilians here... how irrational."- Eraserhead said.
- "Do you know how to do anything other than complain?"- Mirko asked.
- "Yes... save your partner."- Eraserhead said with his famous smile.
- "Very funny…"- Mirko said. – "Hey look, isn't that Majestic?"-
- "Yes, it's him."- Eraserhead said the moment the three of them head towards Majestic.
Enma is an adult man, with a slim body and a goatee, his hero costume recalls the appearance of a wizard, with a short orange robe and the characteristic scarlet pointy hat. He wears several fabrics and sashes of various patterns and colors tied around his costume, with one of them blindfolding him.
- "Hey Majestic, you're here too?!"- Mirko said as she, Eraserhead and Yamikumo approach the hero.
- "Yes, I was close when I saw the broadcast."- Majestic said, in that he notices Yamikumo. – "Who is the new guy?"-
- "It's someone who is helping me with this."- Mirko said.
Majestic approaches Yamikumo and extends his hand. - "Majestic, professional hero, nice to meet you." – He said.
Yamikumo accepts the handshake. – "I'm… Incognito, nice to meet you too."- He said.
- "I can't say I've heard of you..."- Majestic said.
- "I don't like to attract attention; I prefer to work in the shadows."- Yamikumo said. – "It's not exactly a lie..."-
- "We can socialize later, now we have to figure out how to stop these people."- Eraserhead said.
- "It's not like we could do anything... if they see us getting any closer than this point they'll blow up the whole building."- Majestic said.
- "You can't let them get what they want either!"- Mirko said. – "I understand what they want, but this is not the way to resolve things."-
- "What if we make the leader believe that we will do what he wants?"- Yamikumo said.
- "What do you mean?"- Mirko asked.
- "We can distract him by making him think that we are playing along." – Yamikumo said. – "The president is here, he can enter without problems, if him distract him long enough we could sneak in and take the detonator out of his hands."-
- "The detonator? Why not defuse the explosives?"- Majestic asked.
- "We don't know where they are... we would waste more time trying to find them instead of just getting to him."- Eraserhead said.
- "I see…"- Majestic said. – "That's a good plan."-
- "But we will need your cooperation, Mr. President."- Mirko said.
- "What?!"- The president said in disbelief. – "And now why am I part of this?!"-
- "We need your cooperation to be able to resolve all this in the best way."- Majestic said.
- "You want to save your daughter, don't you?"- Eraserhea said.
- "Well… Yes, I do."- The president said.
- "In that case help us save her."- Erasehead said.
The president remains silent for a few seconds then looks at the group of heroes. - "Alright… What do you want me to do?"- He asked.
- "We need you to go and talk to him... hold him long enough for us to sneak in and take the detonator from him."- Yamikumo said.
The president sighs in defeat. – "Arlight…"- Then he heads towards the entrance of the tower, he is stopped by one of the guards. – "I come from the WHA; I want to talk to your leader."-
The guard talks to another and after a few moments approaches the president. – "Follow me…"- The guard said.
The president follows the guard.
- "And now it's our turn..."- Eraserhead said, then the four of them took advantage of the fact that the other guard was distracted for a moment to sneak into the building.
- "We're in... now what?"- Mirko asked as the four of them stood on top of the outside railings.
- "We will move quietly and knock out anyone who becomes a potential problem."- Eraserhead said.
- "The best thing would be to climb the outside rails."- Majestic said.
- "I agree."- Eraserhead said.
- "Let's move on."- Mirko said.

Meanwhile, in the tower there are several members of the terrorist group talking among themselves. – "This is a waste of time... why don't we just blow up the entire tower and that's it?"- One of the asked.
- "I hear you; this is boring... well, maybe we'll get something in the end."- The other one said.
At that moment, they are both knocked out by Eraserhead and Mirko. – "The coast is clear."- Eraserhead said.
- "How much longer to get there?"- Majestic asked.
- "We don't know exactly what floor the leader is on... we still have to hurry."- Eraserhead said.
- "I hear someone approaching, be careful…"- Yamikumo tried to warn but at that moment someone tackles him causing both of them to fall to the lower floor.
- "I got you!"- The person who tackled Yamikumo said.
- "Hey! Are you okay?!"- Mirko asked.
- "Yeah! You guys keep going!"- Yamikumo said as he stands up and looks at whoever tackled him, at first he is surprised to see him. – "Stain… No, it's not him… he just dressing like him."- Yamikumo thought as he got a good look at the person in front of him.
The person in front of him is dressed the same as Stain, only he looks like a lizard.
- "Who are you? Are you some kind of Stain impersonator?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "I am Spinner, I'm Stain's follower; I am here to do his will!"- Spinner said.
- "Yes... I'm very sure this is not what he wanted..."- Yamikumo said as he dodges an attack from Spinner.
- "And how would you know that?"- Spinner asked.
- "That's simple… You are a simple Stain imitator... you want to be like him..."- Yamikumo said as he takes off his helmet. – "I am his apprentice."-
- "You… You're lying!"- Spinner said.
- "You're sure? Why don't you come and check it out?"- Yamikumo said with a smile.
In irritation, Spinner attacks Yamikumo with a pair of swords, one in each hand, however Yamikumo dodges the first attack and grabs Spinner's arm to stop the second.
- "Predictable…"- Yamikumo hits Spinner's arm to make him drop the sword and then catches it. – "Let me show you how to fight."-
Angry, Spinner attacks Yamikumo with his sword, but he blocks his attacks with his own.
Meanwhile with the rest of the team of heroes, the trio continues climbing. – "Mirko, shouldn't we help Incognito?"- Majestic asked.
- "He will be fine; one person won't cause him problems."- Mirko said.
- "Like Ptera? When I had to save him?"- Eraserhead asked.
- "That was different, this is different, trust me." – Mirko said.
- "There is no other option... we already left him behind."- Eraserhead said.
Back with Yamikumo and Spinner, Spinner attacks Yamikumo with a sword attack but Yamikumo blocks it with his own and then jumps to avoid another one landing behind Spinner's back.
Spinner attacks with his sword to his back, but again Yamikumo blocks the attack.
Spinner takes out a second sword and attacks Yamikumo with several cuts, however he blocks all of the attacks with his sword. – "Die!"- Spinner attacks with both swords but Yamikumo jumps back to dodge the attack.
When Spinner lands, he charges at him with a flurry of sword blows, and Yamikumo spins backwards several times to dodge the attack.
Yamikumo then ducks to avoid a sword blow and then blocks a second before kicking Spinner in the face to make him retreat and drop one of his swords. – "I have to admit... you're good... but I still don't believe you're Stain's apprentice!"- Spinner pulls out another sword and attacks with both at the same time while spinning them.
Yamikumo blocks the attack with his sword but is pushed back by the force of the attack, then he blocks another attack from Spinner.
Spinner takes advantage of the fact that Yamikumo is busy to kick him and make him take a couple of steps back and drop the sword and finally he attacks him with a sword blow which is barely dodged by Yamikumo, however he did separate one of the shoulder pads of Yamikumo's suit.. – "Not so confident anymore, huh?"- Spinner tries to attack Yamikumo again but he slides between his legs and grabs his sword again, he then dodges several of Spinner's attacks and does a backflip to grab one of Spinner's dropped swords.
After blocking a final attack from Spinner, Yamikumo begins the attack with two swords, leaving Spinner no time to counterattack.
Little by little Spinner loses ground until Yamikumo takes advantage and with a kick sends one of his two swords flying. Seeing this Spinner tries to counterattack but his sword is caught between Yamikumo's two and with one movement Yamikumo disarms Spinner.
Taking advantage of this, Yamikumo kicks Spinner away in the chest and then throws the two swords at him, slightly cutting both shoulders of the villain who watches Yamikumo approach while his right hand is surrounded by fire. – "It's over."- Once in front of Spinner, Yamikumo unleashes a blast of fire at point-blank range, sending Spinner flying and falling to the ground, completely defeated.
Yamikumo sighs to catch his breath and looks at his right hand, the suit burned slightly revealing a bit of his skin. – "Fighting without my quirk is complicated... I have to learn not to depend on it so much..."- Yamikumo approaches Spinner and takes the helmet he left on the ground. – "You think you're just like him, but you're just a cheap imitation."- Without saying more, Yamikumo puts his helmet back on and goes out through a window to begin climbing the top of the tower.

Meanwhile, the president was chatting with Cheetah, the president's daughter gagged next to them. – "And then she told me that she wanted me to buy her that for her birthday... but you know, not everything is possible in this life..."- the president said, trying to buy time.
In desperation, Cheetah pinches the bridge of his nose. – "And what does that have to do with what is happening now?!"- He screamed.
- "It is important since you must understand that not everything can be achieved in this life!"- The president said.
- "Do you think you're very funny?!"- Cheetah said. – "You don't really understand the seriousness of this, do you?"-
- "Well, you're threatening to kill a lot of people so..."- The president said.
- "So why are you wasting your time with this stupid talk?!"- At that realization hits Cheetah's head. – "You're not wasting time... you're buying time... There are heroes here... Well played."-
Cheetah walks away and takes the bomb detonator from a table. – "You're very smart... but it's over... I warned you!"- Cheetah prepares to press the button. – "Now suffer the consequences!"-
However, before he could press the button, bandages tangled on his arm. – "Just in time..."- Eraserhead said pulling on his bandages and forcing Cheetah to release the detonator.
- "No!"- Cheetah tries to grab the detonator but a kick from Mirko stops him, causing the detonator to fall towards an outside scaffolding.
- "Surprise."- Mirko said while Eraserhead and Majestic arrive at her side.
Cheetah stares at the three heroes and from one moment to the next he rushes towards where the detonator fell.
- "Majestic, take the president and his daughter to safety, we will go after Cheetah!"- Mirko said as she and Eraserhead follow Cheetah.
- "Understood!"- Majestic said while creating platforms to take away the president and his daughter.
Enma Kannagi aka Majestic.
Quirk: Magic.
Enma's Quirk allows him to create floating platforms out of ring-shaped energy that he generated from his wrists. These platforms can be used to levitate himself and others. The rings have a size limit and can only transport objects that can fit through it.
Cheetah is about to reach the detonator but Mirko kicks him to send him flying, even so Cheetah recovers quickly and dodges another kick from Mirko making her fall from the tower.
- "Sh*t!"- Eraserhead said as he catches Mirko with one of his bandages, however this gives Cheetah free range to take the detonator.
- "You failed…"- Cheetah did not finish speaking as he was hit by a kick from Yamikumo who arrived at the scene.
- "Alright, what did I miss?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "Not much... we just have to prevent this guy from getting the detonator."- Mirko said.
- "Which we now have." - Eraserhead said picking it up from the floor.
However, before anything else could happen, Cheetah tackles Eraserhead and then hits Yamikumo and Mirko with a kick to send them away.
Cheetah tries to take the detonator but it is caught by Eraserhead's bandages who tries to pull it towards him, but Cheetah cuts the bandages with his claws, but even before he can grab the detonator Mirko kicks the detonator falling into the tower through an open window.
- "Really?"- Cheetah said then dodged a kick from Mirko and hit her with a double kick making her crash into the railings of the scaffolding.
Eraserhead traps Cheetah's arm in his bandages and tries to hit him, but Cheetah, thanks to his agility and enhanced senses, dodges all the blows, then cuts the bandage, and throws Eraserhead against one of the tower's windows.
Yamikumo arrives and tries to hit Cheetah, without much success, after which he hits him in the chest and then throws him off the scaffolding, forcing Yamikumo to use one of his hooks to avoid falling.
- "So easy…"- Cheetah said and then entered the building through the open window and then closed it from the inside. – "Sorry heroes... but this is my moment of glory."-
Cheetah begins searching for the detonator while Mirko, Eraserhead and Yamikumo try to smash the window and try to get inside. – "What are these windows made of?!"- Yamikumo asked.
- "It would not be the first time that there has been an attack on this tower, that is why they reinforced the windows."- Eraserhead said.
- "And how will we get in?!"- Mirko asked as she kicked the window.
At that moment someone lands on the scaffolding, drawing the attention of the three, said person throws himself against the window and with some objects in his hands breaks it to enter.
- "Crust?"- Eraserhead and Mirko said.
- "Who?"- Yamikumo asked.
Crust.
Quirk: Shield.
Crust's Quirk allows him to grow stone-like hexagon-shaped shields from his body. He uses these shields to protect himself and others. He can expand these shields to a large size and in different directions. The edges of the shields can also cut through obstacles as an offensive attack, and pieces of it can be detached and thrown for the same purpose.
- "Hi."- Crust said. – "Need any help?"-
Crust is a well-built man with black hair combed backward, with a streak of grayish-white hair running down from the center of his hairline. The back of his right hand has a layer of crust, probably due to his Quirk.
His hero costume consists of a black mask over his eyes, and attire similar to the armor Spartans would wear, including a green hooded cape and a black shirt that appears to be stitched down the middle with a red pattern.
- "We need to stop that guy from taking that detonator!"- Mirko said.
Crust looks at Cheetah and sees how he is about to grab the detonator from the ground. – "I see…"- Crust throws one of his shields between Cheetah and the detonator.
- "More nuisances..."- Cheetah said and then dodged several blows from Crust and then kicked him in the face and made him fall to the ground.
At that moment Erasehead traps one of his arms with one of his bandages while Yamikumo holds the other, this is taken advantage of by Mirko to attack Cheetah.
Cheetah quickly cuts Eraserhead's bandage with his claws and then throws Yamikumo at Mirko, then dodges several of Eraserhead's attacks and counterattacks with a flurry of handstand kicks.
Cheetah grabs the detonator from the ground and dodges a shield from Crust, then climbs on top of it and uses it to propel himself towards the broken window while spinning in the air to avoid an attack from Yamikumo and Mirko who crash into the wall.
Cheetah leaves the tower and stands on the scaffolding. – "Sorry heroes... but there's nothing that can stop me now!"- He said. – "You failed."-
Cheetah presses the detonator causing various parts of the tower to explode, causing it to slowly begin to fall. – "It's time to become a martyr…"- Cheetah said as he lets himself fall towards certain death, luckily Eraserhead manages to catch him with his bandages, Cheetah just smiles and cuts the bandage falling towards his death.
- "Sh*t…"- Eraserhead said.
In that case the building shakes and the four are thrown out of the tower, luckily Majestic catches them with his platform. – "What's going on?"- He asked.
- "Well, what you see describes it very well!"- Mirko said.
- "Where are the president and his daughter?"- Erserhead asked.
- "I left them safe on the bridge!"- Majestic said.
- "Are you referring to the bridge where the tower will fall?"- Yamikumo asked.
Majestic doesn't answer. – "F*ck…"- He simply said.
- "There are civilians in the buildings in front of the tower, we have to evacuate them!"- Crust said.
- "And what about those on the bridge?"- Majestic asked.
Quickly analyzing the situation, Yamikumo speaks. – "Majestic, Crust, try to stop the tower."- He said and then took Mirko and Eraserhead by the shoulders. – "We will evacuate the civilians from the buildings, then we will evacuate those from the bridge!"-
Yamikumo, Mirko and Eraserhead rush towards the buildings to rescue the civilians while Crust and Majestic head towards the falling tower. – "You're not the boss, but I like the idea so let's do it!"- Mirko said.
Crust creates two gigantic shields which he uses to try to stop the tower while Majestic creates several platforms to do the same.
Meanwhile, Eraserhead, Mirko, and Yamikumo begin moving people out of the buildings, leaving them a safe distance from the tower's potential impact zone.
- "Hurry up! We won't be able to hold this thing all the time!"- Crust said, slowly his shields breaking, the same goes for Majestic's platforms.
- "We're almost done, just a couple more buildings!"- Mirko said as she leads people out of a building.
After a few moments the shields and platforms finally give way, causing the tower to resume its fall. – "Sh*t…"- Crust said as a platform from Majestic takes him out of danger.
- "Just one more building!"- Yamikumo said as he enters a building through a window, throws three people through the front window and takes two in his arms and jumps out through the same window, then releases the two people to turn around and destroy a piece of debris of the tower.
The five people that Yamikumo took out of the building begin to fall but are caught by Eraserhead's bandages who takes Yamikumo by the hand and together they manage to leave the people on the roof of another building which was out of danger.
After that, they both use their tools, Eraserhead his bandages and Yamikumo his hook, to propel themselves and join the rest of the heroes. – "Alright, now onto the bridge!"- Mirko said.
The five head towards the bridge and begin to evacuate everyone.
One of the debris creates a hole in the ground through which a bus falls, luckily Majestic uses his platforms to catch it and takes it to a safe place. – "Don't worry, I've got you!"- Majestic said.
Mirko takes several people, including the president, and takes them to a safe place. - "Where is my daughter?"- The president asked.
- "Don't worry, she'll be fine."- Mirko said and then went to save more people.
- "Quick, over here!"- Crust said as he leads several people to the safe area, then a piece of debris threatens to fall on them but he throws one of his shields and breaks it. – "Don't stop!"-
Among the people who follow Crust is the president's daughter, but a piece of debris falls on her leg, trapping her, unfortunately, no one saw her.
Yamikumo and Eraserhead arrive with Mirko in the safe zone bringing several people. – "That's all of them, right?"- Eraserhead asked.
- "I think so…"- Mirko said.
Yamikumo nods but then his senses begin to alert him to something, he looks back and notices the president's daughter trapped, without thinking twice, Yamikumo launches himself, propelling himself with his fire, towards her, dodging several debris falling from the sky.
- "Sh*t! There's someone there!"- Mirko said trying to go with Yamikumo but several pieces of debris stop her, blocking her path.
Yamikumo arrives next to the president's daughter, removes the debris from her leg and carries her in his arms. – "Don't worry, you'll be fine!"- Yamikumo begins to run towards the safe area but the falling debris, dust and helmet make his way difficult.
A piece of debris falls on his head, breaking the helmet's visor revealing Yamikumo's right eye, yet he continues, the tower falls, covering everything in dust.
- "Hikari!"- The president screams in horror as he runs towards where his daughter and Yamikumo were, along with Crust, Mirko, Majestic and Eraserhead.
The president stops when he notices that something comes out of the dust... it is Yamikumo with his daughter, Hikari, in his arms, both are unharmed, except for a small wound on Yamikumo's right shoulder and Hikari's injured leg.
- "Hikari!"- The president said hugging his daughter.
Yamikumo looks at Mirko. – "Not bad for the first mission, right?"- He said.
Mirko smiles at him.
- "Oh my God..."- Majestic said while leaning friendly on Yamikumo. – "That was great!"-
At that everyone begins to applaud the group of heroes, Majestic greets the audience while Mirko and Crust high five, Eraserhead and Yamikumo remain relaxed, letting the people celebrate.
In the distance, Spinner observes the entire scene, but only focuses on one person, Yamikumo. – "This will not be the only time you will see me... we will meet again... Stain's apprentice."- Without further ado, Spinner leaves the place just in time to avoid the police arresting him.
A couple of hours have passed and the five who resolved the situation are resting at the nearby police station. – "Nothing like a little break after saving the day."- Mirko said.
- "We don't make a bad team."- Majestic said.
- "I'm just glad everything turned out well."- Crust said.
Meanwhile, Eraserhead talks to Yamikumo. – "I guess I owe you an apology... you are someone trustworthy, even though I don't know you."- Eraserhead said.
- "You said it yourself; you didn't know me; you had every right not to trust me."- Yamikumo said as he extends his hand towards Eraserhead. – "We're cool?"-
- "Sure."- Eraserhead said while shaking Yamikumo's hand.
At that moment, the police chief, Kenji Tsuragamae, approaches the five. – "I see that everyone is here... first of all I want to thank you and congratulate you for a job well done, all civilians were successfully rescued and the situation was resolved appropriately."- He said and then looked at Yamikumo. – "Now as for you... the president wants to talk to the one who saved his daughter, in private."-
- "Alright…"- Yamikumo said following Kenji.
Entering a room, Yamikumo meets the president and his daughter. – "Here is my daughter's hero."- The president said. – "You don't know how much I thank you for saving my daughter."-
- "You don't have to thank me... it's part of the job."- Yamikumo said.
- "Still... you have my gratitude."- The president said. – "I had never heard of you... if it's not too much to ask... I would like to see the face of the person who saved my daughter."-
Yamikumo hesitates and looks at Kenji to ask him what to do. – "It's your choice."- Kenji simply said.
Yamikumo sighs. – "Alright…"- Doubtful, Yamikumo removes his helmet revealing his identity, much to the president's confusion.
- "I can't say I know you..."- The president said.
- "That's because I'm no hero... professionally speaking."- Yamikumo said.
- "Yes… I can notice that... don't tell me that maybe you're a vigilante?" – The president asked.
- "I… Yes, I am."- Yamikumo said. – "Things happened and in the end I found myself involved in this with the obligation to help... that's why I covered my face, so that they wouldn't recognize me and so as not to encourage more people to engage in vigilantism."-
