Hey Guys! Crescent Rider Here and welcome to the Rewritten Version of One Girl Army.

Before you all begin, you may wonder what will be different than the previous chapter. Well, one of those things is about changing the encounter between Garp and the OC.

You'll see that at the very beginning of this chapter.

That is all I have to say and Enjoy the Chapter!

Grand Line

Sailing across the treacherous seas of the Grand Line, a recognizable Marine ship with a doggy figurehead biting on a bone is seen and the man standing by the bow was the Marines's most well-known hero and Vice-Admiral, Garp the Fist.

Despite his old age, all of the Four Blue Seas, Grand Line, and even those of the New World have respected him for his Righteousness and Heroism and every pirate has every right to fear him.

Garp was most notorious for his pursuit and battles against the Legendary Pirate, Gold Roger, The King of the Pirates, and the Man who obtained everything the world has to offer, The One Piece.

Nowadays, Roger's time has passed after his arrest and execution in the East Blue and Garp was said to have passed his prime in the Great Pirate Era.

But even an old veteran like him can instill fear among pirates and hope to all who believe in him and the Marines.

"Garp-san," Bogard, Garp's Right Hand Man, called out as he walked to him, "We've received a report from the crew that there will be a storm and it's on a direct course to our ship,"

"That's the Grand Line for you," Garp remarked, "But I'm sure we'll endure it, let the crew know that we're in for a rough ride,"

"Understood," Bogard inclined and went on ahead to get the crew into position,

A couple minutes later, The storm had arrived and every Marine on board struggled to keep the ship from capsizing through the treacherous waves. As for larger waves, Garp would handle them with immense strength and a cannonball.

As small waves crashed against his ship, he and his marines knew they were going to pull through the storm. But that's when Garp sensed something coming their way and it wasn't a Sea King lurking beneath the waves.

In the distance, lightning revealed a silhouette gliding across through the storm and Garp was no stranger to individuals with Devil Fruit Powers. But when it arrived on his ship, it landed at the top of the figurehead and was concealed with a hooded cloak.

"Monkey D. Garp, I assume?," A woman's voice inquired,

"Yeah, What's it to you? You came here to fight me?" Garp questioned with clutched fists,

"No, I came here with a proposition," The woman said, and unveiled her cloak to him,

Garp widens his eyes upon the sight she revealed, then he frowns especially when the woman before him is smiling.

Once the storm had passed, the sun shone above their heads and every marine on board was relieved to have survived that storm. Bogard would go to report to Garp the damages and condition of the crew, but as he went to him, he found himself dumbfounded when he saw Garp holding onto a young girl with one arm.

He'd ask a question, but Garp beats him, declaring, "Bogard, I'm planning on going on a vacation. So keep the ship and crew in top shape,"

"Of course, Sir," Bogard responded, "I will keep things organized until your return,"

Garp grumbles to himself at the proposition he was presented with. But having seen that woman leave without this girl, Garp decided to take her back to his home island and see where it would go.

Several Weeks Later...

Being granted a vacation took longer than he expected, and now Garp is seen walking through the forest to a certain location.

But he isn't alone as he clutches onto the stretchy face of a young boy. He was wearing a blue shirt with the number 56, blue shorts cuffed by his knees, and a straw hat slung on the back of his head.

This was Garp's grandson, Monkey D. Luffy, and the reason why he was taking him through the forest was to hand him off to an acquaintance of his after learning that Luffy had met a notorious pirate, Red-Haired Shanks, and that straw hat is proof of their encounter.

Garp considers Red-Haired Shanks a terrible influence on Luffy as he makes it clear that he intends to make him a Marine rather than a Pirate. However, they weren't the only ones making their way there.

Behind the two was a young light blond-haired girl, a year older than Luffy, wearing a short-sleeve shirt provided by a kind woman, Makino, long light brown shorts, and a pair of slippers.

This was the girl that the woman brought to Garp's ship, and was put under his care after their encounter.

As soon as they arrived at their destination, Garp repeatedly knocked on the door while Luffy's mind was elsewhere. Moments later, the door burst open and a large woman angrily screamed, "Stop it! Whoever you are, do you wanna get killed?!"

"It's me," Garp sternly replied,

The woman was dumbfounded, then she took several steps back as she finally recognized him, "G-Garp-san!"

Her exclamation also caught the attention of two other people. These were Garp's acquaintances, the heads of the Dadan Family: Curly Dadan, Dogra, and Magra.

As these two parties conversed with each other, the girl just watched Luffy race all over the place.

Several minutes later, Dadan finally notices Luffy pacing around the place and exclaims, "You're annoying, kid!"

Garp would pick Luffy up, and requested, "Look after them, too,"

While Dadan and her bandits are dumbfounded, Garp introduces Luffy to them, "Hey, Luffy, say "hi" to them,"

"Yo!" Luffy greeted,

"Who is that kid?" Magra inquired,

"He is my grandson," Garp replied,

Upon registering this information, Curly Dadan and her two bandits screeched in utter shock and proceeded to reject his request as they had Ace, who just turned 10 and was already a bundle of trouble for them.

However, Garp wasn't the type of person to take no for an answer as he threatened them with two choices. Either they do it, or he takes them to prison for all the crimes they've committed in the past.

But just as they were about to complain, Dogra realized something from Garp's words and asked, "Hold on, you said 'them'. Who's the other?"

"Oh, right," Garp recalled, then turned to the back, "Come on over, don't be shy. Introduce yourself,"

The young girl that followed them soon walked up to the three bandits, and bowed her head to them, "It's nice to meet you,"

"Uh... Who might this be?" Magra asked,

"This is Monkey D. Marie, and she is my granddaughter," Garp introduced,

As usual, the three bandits screeched in utter shock and exclaimed, "Another one!"

"Even though she looks nice, I'm not buying it. One brat is enough, but three is way too far," Dadan clarified, "We aren't taking them!"

"So you prefer prison? If so, then I'll drag you there if I have to," Garp declared despite not moving an inch,

The three bandits were suddenly scared by his declaration, and their saving grace was Marie, who got in between them with arms stretched apart, "Don't bully them, Ojisan!"

"Huh? But they won't take you and brother in," Garp reasoned,

Marie frowns and pouts at Garp for such a reason, and the latter stares back at her. Moments later, he sighs and averts his gaze elsewhere, "Fine, I won't drag them to prison. Just stop it with that look of yours,"

"Okay," Marie replied with a smile,

"She just convinced Garp-san!" Magra exclaimed,

"And she did it even though she hardly knew us!" Dogra added,

"Is this real, or am I trapped in some nightmare?!" Dadan added, "Well whatever is, I'm still not believing it!"

Before this discussion could continue, they soon heard Luffy irked at something and turned to him. That's when they meet an older boy wearing a red T-shirt, yellow shorts, and slippers.

"Luffy, this is Ace. He's 3 years older than you. You and Marie are going to live with them from today," Garp stated,

"What?! You can't just do that! I might consider the girl, but don't drag that brat with us!" Dadan complained,

Garp paid no mind to them, and bonked Luffy on the head for gritting his teeth at Ace, "Be nice,"

"Is it decided?!" Dadan exclaimed,

"Any problem with that?" Garp questioned with a death glare,

Dadan, Magra, and Dogra pale upon seeing Garp's glare, then they straighten themselves and respond with, "We'll take them!"

"That's all from me, I'll stop by when I have time," Garp said,

"Um... What about some child support?" Dadan questioned

"Put it on my bill," Garp replied,

"This is not a bar..." Dadan timidly retorted,

"Huh?" Garp sounded,

"You're always welcome!" Dadan corrected, while her subordinates complained about having another kid in their den,

"You're leaving, Garp-san?" Marie inquired,

"Yeah, but I'll try and visit whenever I can. So I want you to be nice and keep your brother out of too much trouble, alright?" Garp said,

"Umu~! I will!" Marie agreed,

Garp simply patted her head a few times, then proceeded to leave while Marie waved at him, "Bye, Garp-san!"

Once he was no longer in sight, Marie rushed towards Dadan and grinned at her and her bandits. The three bandits could only sigh at her expression, but they had no other choice but to take Garp's grandchildren in as the Marine Hero had already left them in their care...

That is it for this chapter! Now normally, I would have gone through the whole arc of the ASL Brothers, but I've decided that parts of those events will be brief as they will appear as flashbacks or be mentioned in future chapters.

So bear with it as I progress through the story.

And lastly, Marie's Devil Fruit. It may not have been shown, but I will tell you that before she was given to Garp, she had already eaten one.

That is all I have to say, and I'll see you all in the next chapter!
