Lets get to it.

The following day, the three heroes were in their rooms resting for the day.

Last night, they had a huge showdown with Darkness. Thanks to the combined efforts of Lincoln, Lynn, and Lucy, Darkness was defeated permanently.

Lori had thanked the three of them for defeating Darkness before he could harm Bobby.

Currently, Lori was on the phone consoling Bobby as best she could. He was completely distraught with the fact that Darkness killed three Casagrande members last night.

Bobby said that Ronnie Anne, on the other hand was thrilled that she and Sid got to see Superboy and his two new partners fighting Darkness.

Funerals were being planned for Carlota and Carl, but Sergio would just be cremated.

Both the news networks and social media were abuzz. They were all talking about how Superboy defeated Darkness. They were also talking about how he now had two new partners.

Lincoln was currently in bed watching a movie on his laptop.

Then a knock was heard at his door.

"Yeah?" Lincoln called.

The door opened and Luna came in.

"Hey bro." Luna greeted. "Whatcha doing."

"Just watching a movie and resting." Lincoln replied.

Luna then sat at the foot of his bed.

"I get that." She said. "After that huge battle last night, you could use some rest."

"Yeah." Lincoln agreed pausing the movie and putting his laptop on his desk.

Then Luan poked her head in.

"Room for one more?" She asked.

"Absolutely." Lincoln answered.

Luan then came in and sat down next to Luna.

"That sure was a crazy fight you had last night." Luan said.

"Yeah, but at least Darkness is gone for good." Lincoln said.

"You said he exploded, right?" Luna asked.

"Yes." Lincoln answered.

"Wow, that sure was dark." Luan laughed. "Get it?"

Lincoln just smiled at his comedic sister.

"Anyway, it's too bad what happened to the Casagrandes." Luna said

"Yeah." Lincoln answered. "Lori told me what Bobby told her. Carl had summoned Darkness and he straight up killed Carl, Carlota, and Sergio. I think I know why. Since Darkness was now so powerful that he no longer needed to possess anyone, he had no use for those three."

"Yikes, thats unfortunate, dude." Luna said.

"It is." Lincoln said. "No one deserves those fates."

"You're right." Luan said.

"Well, we'll just let you rest for now." Luna said

"Alright." Lincoln replied. "I'll see you two later.

"Later Linc." Luan said.

Luna and Luan then left Lincoln's room, and he returned to his movie.

Lincoln continues to rest.
