After the Sasuke Retrieval Mission, Naruto leaves Konoha for training. Shortly after, he frees his tenant, Kurama, who he befriended a long time ago. Along the way, the two find Tayuya unconscious, but still alive. After healing her, Tayuya joins them to become stronger. The trio soon returns to Konoha to show their newfound strength.
