However, that same night, Mila gets kidnapped by someone Balalaika used to be very close to. Will she find her daughter in time and discover the evolvment of the Lagoon Company in Mila's disappearance?

Revy was not unintelligent. Balalaika knew this. The younger woman just hadn't been afforded many opportunities to read that much literature. Then Revy made a literary reference that almost made Balalaika drop her cigar. Or, how a discussion about a book, leads to Balalaika almost asking Revy to let her kill Rock.

When his last job goes wrong a mercenary hangs up his gun to become a ships mechanic. Unfortunately for him he chooses the one boat in Thailand that is truly a magnet for trouble. Most love stories in Roanapur end the same way. But it's unlikely anyone has seen this one play out before. Especially as it means that all of Roanapur will be filled with screams, and a young woman who loves with everything that she has, is going to be betrayed in every way there is to be betrayed by her lovers.
