So, the characters appearing in this chapter will be a bit OOC. But I'll try to make them as in character as I can.

Chapter 39: Trust Issues
After a few days of learning just how strange it is to be around gender bent versions of some of the Konoha 13, their bracelets finally turned green. With quick goodbyes, they were off to yet another world. Both landed on their feet outside a large building. Both looked at it and groaned. They had come to another world with yet another school.
A white dog wearing a purple polka-dotted bow walked up to them. "Hey. Follow me." It turned around and trouted up the stairs. Deciding that it would be better to follow him, Naruto and Sasuke did just that. The dog lead them through the school and to a random door. From out of nowhere a key appeared in the dog's mouth. It got on its hind paws and stuck the key in, unlocking the door. "Come. There are some people you need to meet." Naruto caught on quickly. He reached forward and opened the door. He gasped. There was a long hallway splashed with several colors. When Sasuke stepped through the door, he was confused. This area was too big. There was no way it could fit in the academy no matter how big it was. Then a thought came to his mind, magic. Some type of magic made this possible.
The dog lead them down the hall until they stopped before a door. Before Naruto could open this door, someone from behind it opened the door. The boy had glasses on with black short hair. He briefy looked at Naruto and Sasuke before looked at the dog.
"Sir Pheles," the boy said. "Are they new students?"
"Not really," the dog said. "They will however be here for a few days to observe. They should stay with you and your brother." The boy's eyes widened before he nodded. He stepped to the side, letting Naruto and Sasuke into the classroom. "Well, I have something to attend to. Have fun!" And suddenly he was gone.
The boy sighed before he closed the door behind him. "Class, it seems we have new students. They are here temporary." A girl with purple hair raised her hand. "Yes, Izumo?"
"Isn't it a bit late to get new students?" Izumo asked.
"Well..." the boy pushed back his glasses, a serious look on his face. "Sir Pheles invited them to this class."
"Hm, fine," Izumo said.
"More students means less work!" a boy with pink hair said.
"You will do your share, Shima!" Izumo said. Shima pouted.
"Any way," the dark haired boy said. "I believe a proper introduction is needed." He turned to Naruto and Sasuke. "My name is Yukio Okumura. I will be your instructor for this class."
"Eh?" Naruto yelled. "But you're so young!"
Yukio's eyebrow twitched. "Yes, well, that's not the point."
Sighing, Sasuke stepped forward. "I'm Sasuke Uchiha and this Dobe is Naruto Uzumaki."
"Teme!" Naruto yelled. Sasuke just glared at him. The door slammed open behind them.
"Hey guys!" a boy with black hair yelled. "Sorry I'm late!" He grinned.
"Rin!" Yukio yelled. "You're nearly twenty minutes late!"
"Heheh," Rin laughed as she scratched the back of his neck. "I kind of fell asleep."
Yukio sighed. "Just sit down." Rin took his usual seat. "Anyway, Uchiha-san, Uzumaki-san, please take a seat." The two of them sat at the double-desk next to Rin. "Now then, lets continue with the lesson."
It honestly surprised Sasuke that Naruto paided so much attention to the lesson. Then again, to learn that the class was about becoming Exorcists, wasn't what he expected. The biggest surprise though was when something scared Rin causing him to flame up. He then had to explain to them that he was the son of Satan, making him a demon. Naruto mearly waved it off, admitting that he had Kurama sealed inside of him. The class seemed to accept this and they had moved on. And now they were here, being lead to where they were going to be staying for the next few days.
"So you make your own meals?" Naruto asked.
"Some of them," Rin said. "But I love to cook."
"Can you teach me?" Naruto asked.
"Sure!" Rin said happily. Rin and Naruto walked faster. Sasuke just rolled his eyes as he followed them. Yukio sighed before increasing his speed as well.
The four of them reached the dorm less than a minute later. Neither Sasuke nor Naruto commented on its looks. Rin tried to bring Naruto right to the kitchen but Yukio stop him saying that they had to show them their room first. They were given the room across from Rin and Yukio. It too had a bunk bed and desk. Sasuke and Naruto tossed their backpacks on the bottom bunk. They'd come to an arrangement later.
Rin and Naruto soon went to the kitchen while Yukio went to his room. Sasuke decided to stay behind. He gragged his backpack and took out a book. Unknown by Naruto, Sasuke began writing in a journal a few worlds back. He had realized from how dangerous some of the world they've gone to were that he may not make it back to their world. It was a dark thought, but it was the truth. He was strong, so he wasn't really afraid. His goal was to leave something behind if his plans went awry.
"That looks so boring!" a voice said. Sasuke turned to the window. A man with pruple hair and green eyes sat on the ledge. He was dressed in a white suit with a white cape with a red undershirt and a pink and white polka-dotted tie. On his head was a white hat with a strap of pink and purple on it.
"You're that dog," Sasuke said recognizing the tie.
The man grinned. "A smart one. I'm Mephisto Pheles." He jumped into the room and bowed. "I'm the Principal of True Cross Academy."
"And?" Sasuke asked.
"I find it amusing, the situation you are in," Mephisto said. "Traveling through various worlds, fighting to survive, very entertaining." Sasuke rolled his eyes before returning to his journal to finish his entry. "And that traveling companion of yours, he fits in well here. In fact, he seems to be having an easier time than you." Sasuke put his journal away, sealing it in his backpack. If anyone tries to open it, they'd be hit with a Chidori. He then headed for the door. "Oh? Where are you going?"
"Anywhere you're not," Sasuke said opening the door. "You're annoying." He didn't bother to close the door behind him.
Mephisto pouted. "Such a serious and boring boy." A thought suddenly came to him. "I wonder how he'd handle a little fun." He poofed away.

Yukio finished putting his stuff away before grabbing his dirty clothes. He glanced at Rin's hamper and sighed. He grabbed it and went to go do some laundry. After throwing in a load, Yukio opened a book and sat down in a chair. He flipped a few pages before feeling Sasuke's presence. He closed the book and turned towards him. "Do you have some laundry to do?"
"Hn," Sasuke said.
Yukio sighd. "You seem to want to ask me something."
Sasuke remained silent for a minute before speeking. "You guys are twins right?" Yukio nodded, already knowing where this was going. "Then that means you are also the son of Satan."
"I'm human," Yukio said. "Only Rin inherited Satan's powers."
"You sound a bit envious," Sasuke said, sitting on the ledge of the open window.
Yukio glared. "Rin is dangerous since he can't control his powers fully."
"He can learn," Sasuke said.
"Like Naruto?" Yukio asked. "He is just as dangerous as Rin, and seems to be even more stupid."
Sasuke glared. "Naruto has complete control over his powers and he is much strong than your brother. Sure he can be a Dobe, but he can outsmart either of you anytime."
"Right," Yukio said. "It seems you are under the wrong impression. If any demon ever attacks anyone here, I'll eliminate them."
"Keep Naruto off of your list," Sasuke said, standing up.
"You seem to care for Naruto a lot," Yukio said.
"I don't," Sasuke said slightly taken back. "When we get back to our world, I'll kill him along with Konoha."
"Then if he shows the slightest hint of danger, I'll get rid of him," Yukio said.
Sasuke grabbed Yukio's shirt and lifted him up. "Leave Naruto alone." He tossed Yukio to the floor. "And mind your own buisness." He turned and lept out of the window. Yukio's eyes widened and he ran to the window. He saw Sasuke walking away like it was nothing. Yukio shook slightly as he noted that this was the third floor.

"And so then you put it in for ten minutes," Rin said. "After that, we reduce the heating baking for another ten minutes. Finally, we'll rotate the pan and bake it for twenty minutes."
"Cool!" Naruto said. "And it isn't too sweet?"
"Nope!" Rin said.
"Rin!" a cat said jumping up onto the counter.
"Oh! Hey Kuro," Rin said. "Naruto, this is my familiar Kuro."
"Hi Kuro," Naruto said. He began to pet Kuro.
"Nah, something smells good," Kuro said.
"Rin taught me how to make a cake!" Naruto said.
"You can hear me?" Kuro asked.
Naruto looked confused. "Of course."
Kuro sniffed Naruto. "Ah! I smell fox."
"I have a Kyubbi sealed inside of me," Naruto said.
"That makes sense," Kuro said purring. Naruto smiled.
"Rin," Yukio said as he walked into the room."
"Hey Yukio!" Rin said with a grin. "We just finished making a cake." Yukio nodded before his eyes fell onto Naruto. Naruto tilted his head to the side in confusion. Yukio looked away before sitting down at the bar table. Rin raised an eyebrow at the strange way Yukio was acting. Something was off with the younger boy.
Finally, after several glances, Yukio spoke. "What is Sasuke?"
"Huh?" Naruto asked. "What do you mean?"
"Is he human?" Yukio asked.
"Oh, yeah, we both are," Naruto said. Rin and Kuro shifted slightly.
"You have a demon inside of you," Yukio said. "That makes you not fully human. And I don't believe Sasuke is either."
Naruto slammed a hand on the counter. "Sasuke is human!"
"Then how is he able to jump out of the third floor window and be fine?" Yukio asked.
"Easy," Naruto said crossing his arms. "We're ninjas. We can do many things normal people can't." As if to prove his point, Naruto began to walk up a wall, stopping once he was hanging from the ceiling. "See?" Three pairs of eyes looked at him in amazement. He jumped, doing a flip before landing on the floor with a soft thud. "That is something all ninja know how to do."
"Still," Yukio said. "That just proves you two are dangerous."
"Are you still going on about that?" a voice said. The four of them turned to Sasuke. "Honestly, it doesn't matter what you think. We won't be here for long." He walked up to Yukio. "You can try to eliminate us, but you'll fail." He then walked away.
"Sasuke!" Naruto yelled, running after him.
"They aren't bad people," Rin said.
Yukio clenched his fists. "What do you know?"
"More than you apparently." Rin turned back to the oven, focusing on the cake baking inside of it. Yukio just stayed silent.

"Sasuke!" Naruto yelled again. "Hold up!" He caught up to the raven at their room. He saw Sasuke grabbing their bags. "What are you doing?"
"We're leaving," Sasuke said. He tossed Naruto his bag.
"What?" Naruto asked. "Why?"
"We can't trust that teacher," Sasuke said. "He could attack us anytime."
"But.." Naruto began.
"No," Sasuke interupted. "I'm not going to risk it."
"I'm not leaving," Naruto said.
"Then stay," Sasuke said. He began to walk pass Naruto, but the blond grabbed his arm. "Let me go."
"Sasuke, this makes no sense," Naruto said. "We haven't done anything wrong. Yukio doesn't seem like a person to attack us for no reason."
"He doesn't need a reason," Sasuke said shaking off Naruto's hand. "Just as I don't need a reason to leave."
"I'm staying here," Naruto said. "I trust them."
"So be it," Sasuke said. He left the room without another word.
Naruto stared after Sasuke, several different thoughts running through his head. Sighing, he sat down on the bottom bunk. Part of him wanted to go after the raven again, but he knew the other was too stubborn to listen to him. He fell backwards and looked up at the bed above him. He'd give the raven the space he seemed to need.
Do to certain circumstances, I'll be posting a chapter every month. I apologize about this. I'll try to type more so that this isn't true since I'd like to go back to my one chapter every week thing. Who knows, may be things will get situated faster than I think!
