Chapter 45: Deadly Decisions
"Naruto," Abunaisuke said.
Crystalline blue eyes fell onto the person at Abunaisuke's feet. The eyes widened. "Is that...?"
"No," Abunaisuke said. "It seems he's from another world. He came with another version of me. And before you ask, they are both alive."
"Why did you bring him here?" the other asked.
"I don't know," Abunaisuke said.
"Sasuke?" Naruto asked opening his eyes. He jumped up as memories of what just happened filled his mind. "Bastard!"
Abunaisuke cursed. He should have known that Naruto wouldn't stay asleep for long. He should have restrained him while he had the chance. Naruto's eyes fell onto the person behind Abunaisuke. They widened.
"Eh!" Naruto yelled. "Sakura-chan said you were dead."
The other person smiled stepping around Sasuke. He bent down so that Naruto could see him more clearly. "I am. I died nearly four years ago." That was when Naruto noticed the black that surrounded the eyes identical to his own.
Anger raised inside Naruto as he glared at Abunaisuke. "You used Edo Tensei on me?"
"No," Abunaisuke said. "I used it on him."
"Same thing!" Naruto yelled. "How dare you!" He stood up. "Bastard." He charged at Abunaisuke. Abunaisuke moved to the side before slamming a fist into Naruto's stomach. Naruto coughed up some blond.
"Sasuke!" the other Naruto (Shinruto) caught Naruto. "You didn't have to do that."
"Hn," Abunaisuke said before walking further into the cave. He knew neither could leave since a barrior stood in their way.
"Are you ok?" Shinruto asked.
"Why are here?" Naruto asked. "Why are you with him? He killed you!"
Shinruto smiled sadly. "I can't leave. This jutsu binds me under his control."
"But why did he..." Naruto began. A thought came to him quickly. "That Bastard! He plans on using you to kill Sakura-chan!"
Shinruto laughed. "I thought the same thing, but that isn't it. He hasn't even let me out of this cave let alone to go after the survivors."
"The survivors?" Naruto asked.
Shinruto smiled. "The survivors from the Five Great Nations."

Sakura finished explaining to the others that Sasuke wasn't their enemy. Most didn't believe that Sasuke was from another world. They thought he was just a Henged Clone of Abunaisuke that was trying to infiltrate their camp to kill the survivors. But after Ino searched his thoughts, she concluded that Sasuke was indead from a different world. She also said something to Tsunade that caused the older blond to blush before stating that she'd trust Sasuke. Sasuke really wished he had heared what Ino had said since it seemed to make a big difference of the Fifth's opinion.
Sakura lead the raven into a room. Sai, Kakashi, and Yamato sat on their beds. A fourth bed was in the room and Sakura told Sasuke that it would be his temporary. She then left the room. Sasuke sat down trying to think of how to save Naruto. His first thought was to run after Abunaisuke, but Sakura had talked him out of it, telling him that searching in the rain would be pointless. Sasuke agreed knowing that she was right. He looked up to see the other three in the room looking at him.
"What?" He asked.
"Is it true?" Sai asked. "Are you really in..." Kakashi covered Sai's mouth with a gloved hand. Sasuke raised an eyebrow.
"Ino already confirmed it," Kakashi said. He removed his hand and Sai remained silent. Kakashi turned towards Sasuke. "It's nice to see you again, Sasuke."
"I'm not the Sasuke of this world," Sasuke said.
"I know," Kakashi said. "By the looks of it, you are from before our Sasuke destroyed the Five Great Nations. Which means you match our Sasuke from back then, so it isn't a stretch to say that we've met. I'll say it again, it is nice to see you again, Sasuke." Sasuke just nodded.
"How long have you been away from your world?" Sai asked.
"I don't know," Sasuke said. "Time moves differently in each world." That sentence reminded him of Yuko. Sasuke grabbed his bag and rummaged through it, pulling out a hand mirror.
"You know, your hair is fine Sasuke," Sai said.
Sasuke ignored him. He tapped the center of the mirror three times. On the mirror, Watanuki appeared. He was dressed in a kamono. "Hello Sasuke."
"Watanuki," Sasuke acknoledged. "Where is Yuko? I need to speek to her."
"Yuko is unavailable," Watanuki said. Sai, Kakashi, and Yamato looked on the sceen in front of them in wonder.
"Well, go get her!" Sasuke said irratated.
"Yuko is not able to be spoken to nor can she speak to you," Watanuki said. "That will not change." It hit Sasuke like a ton of bricks. Although Watanuki didn't flat out say it, Sasuke knew that Yuko was dead. "Whatever you need, I can help you with it."
"Naruto and I have been separated," Sasuke said. "I believe that he is in danger because of this world."
"You are in a pararelle world of your own," Watanuki said. Sasuke nodded. "You want your Naruto back." Sasuke blushed slightly but nodded. "If that is your wish."

"Naruto," Abunaisuke said. Both blonds turned towards him. "Go to bed."
"But Sasuke," Shinruto whined. Abunaisuke just glared. "Fine." He stood up then turned towards Naruto. "You know, you should tell him."
Naruto looked at the other confused. "Tell who what?"
Shinruto just smiled and walked passed Abunaisuke, whispering something in his ear. Shinruto might as well have said it loudly since Naruto was able to hear it with his demonic hearing. "Don't hurt him."
Abunaisuke looked at Naruto. He had realized that he could use him. Since his body still containted the Kyuubi, Sasuke could use it to host his Naruto. All he had to do was kill this Naruto and use the second part of the Edo Tensei to seal his Naruto's soul into this one's body. It would give his Naruto a new body, allowing him to truly live again. The Edo Tensei was flawed since it didn't allow for time to affect those brought back by it. Abunaisuke wanted this for his Naruto.
Abunaisuke pulled out a kunai. Naruto glared at him, guard up. He was ready to defend himself if Abunaisuke tried to kill him. Abunaisuke lunged at Naruto to do just that. A blinding green light appeared, stopping him. He stepped back as Naruto was lifted into the air. Naruto grabbed his bag, careful to keep it with him.
Shinruto ran back into the room. He shouted Naruto's name as he tried to reach up to pull him back down. Abunaisuke held Shinruto back. Naruto couldn't help but smile as he noticed the concern on Abunaisuke's face. That was the last thing Naruto saw before he closed his eyes.

Sasuke felt himself get lifted into air. The green light had caused Sai, Kakashi, and Yamato to look away. Kakashi was the first to recover. He grabbed Sasuke's bag and tossed it to him. The raven caught it. Then his world shifted before he was falling. He landed on the ground hard. He frowned as he stood up. Naruto wasn't anywhere around. Tapping the mirror again, Watanuki once more appeared. "Where is Naruto?"
"He is in that world and close by," Watanuki said. "It seemed your desire to get Naruto away from your otherself was stronger than your wish to appear by his side. But you will meet up with Naruto again, and soon."
Sasuke sighed. "And payment? What do you want for this?"
"Nothing," Watanuki said. The mirror began to darken. "You've already paid too much."
Shinruto = shinda (dead) + Naruto
Now I know most of you are probably thinking: "that's it?" But worry not! I will be writing a story about Abunaisuke and Shinruto. I couldn't give you too many details in these chapters or I'd ruin that story.
As for what Watanuki said, you'll have to wait to find out what he means.
