This was a hard chapter to write since I didn't want to spoil too much of season 2 and I couldn't change it to season 1 without taking out a very important part of this chapter. I hope you enjoy this chapter.
I do not own these series, nor do I make any money off of this.

Chapter 57: Time Can Be So Confusing Sometimes
Sasuke blinked as he took in the darkness of the room. It was still a few hours before the sun would rise. He glance to the side to see Naruto sleeping besides him. Sasuke couldn't help but smile. His eyes fell on the whiskered cheeks. He always wondered how Naruto got them. He raised a hand and let a finger move over one of them. Sasuke frowned There wasn't a clear answer as to if the were wounds or birthmarks. If they were wounds, why hadn't the Kyuubi healed them? The question caused Sasuke's eyes to move towards Naruto's stomach. The seal wasn't clear. Sasuke moved a hand to Naruto's stomach and lightly touched it. With a strange flair of heat, the seal lit up Sasuke retracted his hand as moved a little, mumbling about ramen. Sasuke rolled his eyes before deciding to get up.
Sasuke made his way downstairs to find almost everyone sleeping. "Good morning," Merlin said. Sasuke nodded. "Not much of a talker, are you?" She shifted as she tilted her glass of water towards her lips, taking a sip. "I don't care that you don't want to talk, but I need to know one thing. Why are you here?"
"Why does it matter?" Sasuke asked as he took the seat next to her. He grabbed the pitcher of water and poured himself a glass. He was hoping it would help get rid of the headache he had. Marlin reached out a hand to grab his, forcing him to put down his glass.
"Two mysterious boys just show up here and just happen to be able to find out where we are?" Merlin said more than asked. "Even I'm not going to turn a blind eye to such a thing." She released Sasuke's hand. "So, the question is who are you and what do you want?"
Sasuke briefly wondered if he should lie. Then he sensed it. He leapt out of the chair and jump to the side to avoid a strange purple orb. It hit the chair before surrounding it in a purple cube. Sasuke looked at Merlin, Sharingan spinning.
"I see," Merlin said. "You are definitely not normal. Guess I shouldn't hold back."
"Melin," Meliodas said. "You should take it outside."
"I…" Merlin began.
"Sasuke?" Everyone turned to see Naruto coming down stairs. He was rubbing at one of his eyes. Sasuke couldn't help but blush at Naruto's state of undress. Naruto looked around before frowning. "What's going on?"
"Dobe," Sasuke said. "Go put on some clothes." Naruto glared before looking down at himself. He blushed before running back up the stairs. Sasuke sighed as sat down next to Meliodas. The tension in the air was gone. Merlin was still wary of the two, but she decided to hold off on questioning them.
Naruto came back down and sat next at the bar, facing Sasuke. "So? What's going on?"
"Seems like Merlin and Sasuke don't get along," Meliodas said.
"Lady Merlin and Sir Sasuke had a fight?" Elizabeth asked. She was wearing a dress. Behind her was Hawk.
'Sir Sasuke?' Sasuke and Naruto wondered.
"It's nothing," Merlin said.
Before Elizabeth or Naruto could say anything, Meliodas stood up. "I think it is time for breakfast!" He walked over to Ban and began to shake him awake. "Ban! Time to eat!"
"Captain…" Ban grumbled. "It's too early."
"It's never too early to eat!" Hawk said.
"Come on Ban," Meliodas said, once again shaking the other. Ban didn't move. Meliodas sighed. "Guess I'll have to make breakfast then."
"I'm up!" Ban said, suddenly wide awake. He headed right into the kitchen. Meliodas grinned and gave a peace sign to Elizabeth. She giggled. Merlin rolled her eyes.
Elizabeth carefully awoke Diane, whom was still small thanks to Merlin's medicine. Once she was awake, she moved on to King who, like Ban, said it was too early. Diane then stepped in and shoke King until he opened his eyes. Luckily, he didn't pass out from how close she was to him. Instead, King blushed as she released him and then sat down next to him. She moved a hand to her neck. Sleeping on the floor wasn't good for the body.
"Hey Gowther," Meliodas said.
"Yes?" Gowther asked, sitting up.
"Oh, you're awake," Meliodas said.
"Yes," Gowther straightened his glasses. "It is impossible to sleep through Merlin and Sasuke's fight." Merlin and Sasuke glared at him. "What?" Merlin just shook her head knowing that Gowther just wouldn't get it. Sasuke glanced at Naruto, who looked a bit concerned. Sasuke mouthed to him that they'd talk later.
But it seemed Elizabeth wasn't going to let the subject change. "Why did Lady Merlin and Sir Sasuke fight?"
"I don't trust them," Merlin said. "Especially with their weird power. Hawk, Gowther, you can see it as well right?"
Hawk looked at Naruto while Gowther looked at Sasuke. Both of their eyes widened. "What is this?" Hawk asked. "Is the Eye broken?"
"No," Merlin said. She pointed at Naruto. "He has two different power levels."
"But these levels," Hawk said.
"I've never seen this before," Merlin said. "It is like he's made up of two different people."
"And Sir Sasuke?" Elizabeth asked.
"It changes," Gowther said. "When his eyes turn red, like they did during Merlin and his fight, his power level increases tenfold."
"That is not all," Merlin said. "I sense an even darker power within him, the same with one of Naruto's power levels. It is dark." Sasuke and Naruto glanced at each other. They knew that Naruto had two different power levels because of the Kyuubi and that because of Sasuke's sharingan, his power level changes. They didn't say anything as Merlin had more to say. "And that's not the bad part." Once more she pointed at Naruto. "His lower power level is just higher than Ban's."
"Magic: 1350, Strength: 600, Spirit: 1200, a total of 3150," Hawk said. "That's higher than Gowther's." He blinked. "It just went up to a total of 31500!" Sasuke had been a bit curious and had thus activated his normal sharingan. Everyone gasped. "That's a bit lower than Meliodas's!" Sasuke couldn't help but frown at that. Meliodas looked weak to him, yet this pig was saying he was stronger than Sasuke? He was tempted to see what he'd have to say if he activated his Mangekyo, but he decided against it. He let his sharingan fade and Hawk, Gowther, and Merlin relaxed a little.
"Wait!" Diane said. "If Naruto's lower power level is higher than Ban's than what's the other power level at?"
At her words, Hawk turned to look at Naruto. The number he saw made Hawk pass out from shock. Elizabeth yelled his name and she rushed to his side. The others turned to Gowther and Merlin. Gowther opened his mouth to speak, but Merlin stopped him. "Spirit: 9000, Strength: 36000, Magic…" Merlin paused. The number she saw was just too high. Of the Seven Deadly Sins, maybe with the exclusion of Escanor, Merlin had the highest magical power. She knew there were was once someone whose magical power was about 47000, but that had been a long time ago. As far as Merlin knew, that person was long gone.
"Merlin?" Meliodas asked.
"Sorry," Merlin said. "It's just…" Once more she paused. "I don't believe it."
"It's 54000," Gowther said. The sound of something breaking came from the kitchen. Ban cursed before continuing with preparations of breakfast. Silence reigned through the room. King, Diane, and Elizabeth were in shock. Naruto and Sasuke weren't surprised that Kyuubi was so powerful. Doing the math, that meant that the Kyuubi's current power level was 99000. To them, it was a lot lower than what they thought it would be. Sasuke glanced at Naruto, wondering if the blond had been thinking the same thing. Naruto's eyes met Sasuke's and he raised a finger pointing to the room upstairs. Sasuke nodded, knowing that they'd have to talk about what to do next.
Before anyone could do anything, Ban came out of the kitchen carrying two large plates of food. One was a plate of pancakes while the other held scrambled eggs. He placed them on the table Meliodas was still sitting at. "I also made some toast." He looked around. "What's wrong?" Meliodas, King, and Diane blinked. It was as if Merlin and Gowther's words had trapped them until Ban spoke. They turned to Ban and it was obvious that he had heard what the entire discussion. Ban turned to Elizabeth and Hawk. "Hey Master, it's time to eat."
"Food!" Hawk said, jumping up and out of Elizabeth's arms. Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh as she stood up. She followed Ban into the kitchen to get the rest of the breakfast supplies. Once everything was set, the group began to eat. No one spoke about Sasuke and Naruto's power levels. Instead, each table talked about different things. Elizabeth and Diane managed to get Merlin to talk to them about girl things. King, Ban, and Meliodas talked about the upcoming battles. Gowther tried to talk to both groups. Sasuke and Naruto ate in silence. Once they deemed they'd eaten enough, Sasuke and Naruto excused themselves.
Once they reached their room, Naruto set up a barrier, not wanting the others to hear them. "It's low, isn't it?" Naruto asked. Sasuke nodded. "I think it is because this isn't out world. Kyuubi's power relies on the power our world holds. I believe being away from it for so long had lowered his power."
"I'm still strong enough to kick your ass," Kurama said. "And the Uchiha's."
'I don't doubt that,' Naruto thought. He sighed. "By their definition of power, we are stronger than them. They are afraid of us."
"We can leave," Sasuke suggested.
"I know," Naruto said. "By the way, what's that light coming from your bag?" Sasuke looked at his bag. A bluish white light was coming from it. Grabbing the bag, he pulled out the mirror Yuko gave them. The light faded as the mirror revealed Yuko's face.
"Ah!" Yuko said. "I see that it connected this time. It is good to see you two. It has been awhile."
"Eh!" Naruto yelled before turning towards Sasuke. "Teme! You said she was dead!"
"She is," Sasuke said. "That's what Watanuki told me."
"Well, he clearly lied!" Naruto said.
"Oh?" Yuko said. "That explains things. You two have been to worlds that are ahead of my current time. In those worlds, the mirrors are linked to a future in which I am dead. It must be that since the mirror you carry is currently linked to your bracelets which is linked to the time the world you are in is at. The world you are currently in must be on a past timeline, allowing me to finally contact you."
Naruto's head spinned and he wasn't the only one a bit confused. Sasuke was starting to get another headache. "What did you want?" Sasuke asked.
"Just to see how things are going," Yuko said. "I was a worried that something happened to you when I couldn't reach you. I've been trying to contact you for a month."
"Yuko?" Naruto asked. "How long have we been gone from our world?"
"Using the time difference between my world and yours, you've been gone for about a week," Yuko said.
"Since we went to worlds ahead of your time, does that me that we are going back in time?" Naruto asked.
"No," Yuko said. "It doesn't really work that way. In fact, for all you know, the Watanuki you talked to was from one of my alternate worlds. Remember that there are hundreds of the same type of universe that just has different stories due to the different decisions people make."
"Then why haven't we been to the same type of universe but different world?" Sasuke asked, trying to understand what Yuko is saying.
"That is simple," Yuko said. "Each world you go to is a world you need to go to. Remember, there is no such thing as a coincidence. There is only the inevitable." Without another word, Yuko disappeared.
Naruto sighed. "I don't think I'll ever understand this whole space-time thing. The more I learn, the more I don't know. Even that makes more sense to me than what Yuko said.
"I think I get the jist of it," Sasuke said. "I believe what she means is that although this world may be on a past timeline matching up with her world, we will still end up back in our world after the latest world we went to." He folded his arms. "Which means that no matter what, at least ten years will have past in her world when we get back to ours."
"I don't get it," Naruto said.
"We might never understand the way any of this works," Sasuke said. "Honestly, I don't care to know."
Naruto grinned. "Then we just accept it and move on!" He stood up. "Now I believe that we were going to leave right?"
"Yes," Sasuke said, also getting up. "It isn't safe here." The two grabbed their bags and walked downstairs, completely dissolving the barrier behind them. The reached the bottom of the stairs only to notice that several people they didn't know were in the Boar Hat.
Elizabeth turned to them. "Are you leaving already?"
"Yeah," Naruto said. "We still have things to do, places to go."
"Alright," Elizabeth said, putting the tray she had in her hands down. "It was nice meeting you." She hugged Naruto and was about to hug Sasuke when Meliodas grabbed one of her breasts again. "Eh? Sir Meliodas?"
"Leaving?" Meliodas asked. Naruto nodded, feeling a bit uncomfortable at Meliodas's display of perversion. "Well, you're always welcome back at the Boar Hat!"
"Thank you," Naruto said, smiling. "Bye guys!" He waved at the rest of the Seven Deadly Sins before him and Sasuke left the Boar Hat. "Where should we go?" Sasuke shrugged. He honestly didn't care. Naruto rolled his eyes before pulling out his map of this world. His eyes moved around the map until he put it on the ground. He stepped back and pulled out a coin. He tossed it at the map. Sasuke just watched as Naruto let a coin decide where they were going. "Guess we are heading towards a place called Edinburgh." He pick up the map and the coin and put them away before beginning to walk. Sasuke followed silently behind him.
Alright, so before I get a lot of hate on those Power Level numbers, I did a lot of research and based on what I read and the various opinions on who would win in a fight, I made those numbers up. It is nearly split down the middle whether or not Naruto or Meliodas would win in a fight. It honestly depends on the circumstances of their fight. This version of Naruto would most likely hold back unless Meliodas meant to kill him, and even then he might still hold back. The same with Meliodas. He tends to hold back in all of his fights that don't revolve around protecting Elizabeth or someone else (but mostly Elizabeth).
