Chapter 92: A Grueling Experience and a Vampire

Naruto and Sasuke blinked as they tried to take in the darkness of their new surroundings. Naruto placed a hand on the wall in front of him. "Are we inside a building?"

"I don't…" Sasuke began before he felt his body being tugged. Naruto let out a yelp and it became obvious that whatever had grabbed Sasuke had also grabbed Naruto. Sasuke tried to fight against it, but the pull disappeared as he fell to the ground. Naruto landed next to him with a groan.

"What the hell was that?" Naruto glanced around until his eyes landed on a tunnel. He took a step towards it. Feeling as if something was pushing him backwards, he stopped. "Is it a barrier?"

Sasuke instantly activated his Sharingan only for his eyes to widen. "It's… huge." He tried to follow the edge of the barrier only for his sight to fail him. "There is no end."

"That's impossible," Naruto said.

"It is strange. How do I explain it? The barrier goes into the tunnel, but not the entire way. It is like the tunnel is the only way out, except you can't. There has to be some way to go through the tunnel to the other side."

"What do you think is on the other side? The barrier must be protecting this place from something."

"That…"

"Naruto?" A female voice questioned. Naruto and Sasuke turned towards her. "Oh my God! It really is you!" She jumped towards Naruto, wrapping her arms around him. Both Naruto and Sasuke stiffened at the contact. "I thought you went back home already. It is so good to see you again. How have you been?" She pulled back slightly. "Tsukune and the others will be so glad to see you. Do they know you're here?"

"Um… I…" Naruto was lost for words. He wasn't used to anyone getting so close and affectionate with him, especially a woman.

Sasuke let out a snort before he stepped forward and freed Naruto from the girl's grasp. Her eyes turned towards him, widening before she glared. "What are you doing here? Did you come to bother Naruto again?"

Seeing the beginnings of a fight starting, Naruto put up his hands. "No one is bothering me. I'm perfectly fine." Two sets of glaring eyes turned towards him. Each pair held the question: "are you sure?" in them. He simply nodded before watching the two step away from each other. Both crossed their arms before resuming their glares. Naruto sighed. "I think there has been some kind of misunderstanding. I don't think we've ever met before."

"Of course not Idiot," Sasuke said. "This is clearly another world where we just 'happen' to exist."

"Don't call Naruto stupid!" The girl yelled. Suddenly, her nails got longer and she readied herself to attack Sasuke.

"Kurumu!" Another female voice yelled. "There you are! We were looking… for you. Naruto?" The girl with black hair looked at the blond. Her eyes lit up. "Tsukune! Naruto's back!" Everyone turned to see two boys and two girls walking towards them.

"Tsukune!" Kurumu jumped towards one of the boys, tugging his head down into her breasts. The black haired girl and the one with light purple hair pulled her off of him. A yelling match began between the three girls. The one with pink hair ignored them and walked up to Naruto, grabbing his hands.

"Naruto, welcome back!" She said, smiling.

"Who's this?" The boy asked.

"Oh, this is Naruto," the pinkette said. "He was our classmate before you got here. But I thought you weren't coming back." She turned towards Naruto with a look of confusion on her face. "And that's…" She looked at Sasuke before turning back to Naruto. "Are you ok? He's…"

"What is going on here?" Another girl with long black hair flew down, her six wings disappearing once she touched the ground. "Something or someone has interfered with the barrier!" She looked around until her eyes landed on Naruto. They lit up. "Naruto!" She lunged at Naruto, whose instincts told him to avoid her. Listening to them, he side-stepped her and she fell to the ground. "Naruto!" She whined before standing up. "That hurt!" She pouted. When she saw Sasuke, she gasped and took a battle stance. The others did the same.

"They aren't them," a voice said coming from the cross around the pink haired girl's neck. "They may look like Naruto and that bastard, but they aren't them."

"Imposters?" The pink haired girl asked. This caused the girls to get more on guard.

"Are you sure Moko-san?" Tsukune asked.

"Yes," the voice said. "Although they look like them, something about their aura is different."

"That's what he was trying to tell you," Sasuke said. "We aren't your Naruto and Sasuke."

"Then who are you?" Tsukune asked.

"Well, I'm Naruto," Naruto said. "And this is Sasuke. But we are from another world."

Tuskune nodded. "Another world?" Kurumu asked. "What are you talking about? Tsukune, you don't really believe them, do you?"

"I do," Tsukune said. "How can I not when we have two worlds ourselves. Honestly, I don't think anything would surprise me. We didn't even know that Naruto's home existed. Shinobi were just a myth of some sorts until we met him. Besides, you saw the power Naruto and Sasuke had. It was otherworldly, even for Yokai."

"Are you a Jinchuriki as well?" Moka asked.

"Yes," Naruto answered. He let his eyes turn red. "Kurama and I are good friends."

"Kurama?" Moka asked.

"Oh…" Naruto scratched the back of his neck. "That's the name of the Nine Tails sealed inside of me."

"I see…" Yukari said. "You weren't friends with the fox before. Or rather, in this world? This is complicated."

"You just have to think of us as different people," Naruto said. "We may have never met, but that doesn't mean we won't become friends as well." He smiled.

"You are different," Kurumu said. "It's like what you are saying is all a lie." Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"Ignore Miss Cow Tits," Yukari said. Kurumu and Yukari instantly began to call each other names.

Tsukune sighed. "Why don't we head inside the school."

"Tsukune's right," the other boy said. He introduced himself as Fang Fang Huang. The rest of the group introduced themselves as they made their way to the school. Nekonome-Sensei welcomed Naruto and Sasuke into the classroom where the Newspaper Club usually met up. She didn't even question why Naruto and Sasuke were there.

"The Headmaster already knows you're here," Ruby explained, a crow on her shoulder.

"So in your world, you two are friends?" Tsukune asked.

"Yes," Naruto said while Sasuke said, "no." They looked at each other. Naruto opened his mouth to say something before he closed it and turned back to the others. Everyone could feel the tension between the two of them.

"Ok," Tsukune said. "Why are you here?"

"We're just passing through," Sasuke said, not really in the mood to explain more than that.

Naruto rolled his eyes. "We are on a journey to return to our world. We've been to many different worlds already and this is just our current stop."

"There are several more worlds then?" Yukari asked. Naruto nodded. "Cool!"

"You said that you're a Jinchuriki?" Fang Fang asked.

"Yes," Naruto said.

"Interesting," Fang Fang said. "I've heard about them. There are Nine of you right?"

"There's only two of us left," Naruto said. "The Hachibi and Kyuubi are the only two Bijuu that haven't been stripped from their Jinchuriki."

"That's not good," Fang Fang said. "From what the books say, when the Nine Bijuu join together they become a monster comparable to Alucard." Moko felt a sudden pain in her heart as an unknown fear came over her. It disappeared quickly and she wondered if the feeling came from Inner Moka.

"Who is Alucard?" Tsukune asked.

"The first Vampire," Fang Fang said. "But he's been dead for two hundred years." Again, Moka felt a pang of pain and fear for just a second. She was gonna have to talk to Inner Moka later.

"Well, it isn't gonna happen," Naruto said. "I won't allow the Akatsuki to get their hands on Kurama."

"May I see it?" Fang Fang asked. "You're Yokai form?"

"Um… I'm not really sure what you expect to see," Naruto said. "But I can go into Five-Tailed Mode." Naruto closed his eyes, letting Kurama's Chakra run through his body. But something felt different.

"Kit!" Kurama yelled from within him. "Let me out! Now!" Naruto put his hands together, quickly making some signs. Kyu appeared in fox form before quickly taking on his human form. He managed to catch Naruto before the blond could hit the ground.

"W-what happened?" Naruto asked, feeling tired.

"I think this world's power interfered with your control and this jutsu of that other Naruto," Kyu said. He glanced over at Sasuke and held out a hand. "Clothes, now." Sasuke pulled out his Organization Cloak and tossed it at Kyu. The man quickly put it on, careful not to show anything to the people around them.

"Are you the Kyuubi?" Fang Fang asked.

"Yes," Kyu said. He lifted Naruto up and sat him down in one of the many chairs.

"I'm fine," Naruto pouted. "I'll have to train more since I don't want that to happen in the future."

"It would be best to master the jutsu before returning to our world," Kyu said. He glanced over his shoulder at Sasuke. "We wouldn't want someone to take advantage of this." Sasuke glared at him.

Tsukune watched the exchange, his mind already coming to several conclusions. It was clear that Kurama cared deeply about Naruto and that he didn't like Sasuke. This Naruto was similar to the Naruto he had met. They both liked their Sasukes, but Tsukune still wasn't sure if it was just friendship. As for this Sasuke, he had said that he and Naruto weren't friends. But he seemed to care about Naruto. There were some feelings that Tsukune couldn't quite put a finger on. Was Sasuke in love with Naruto? He shook his head. If Sasuke was in love with Naruto, then he wouldn't be acting this way. Unless…

"Tsukune?" Kurumu called, getting in his face. "Are you alright? We called your name several times."

Tsukune looked around to see everyone staring at him. He blushed. "Sorry, I was just thinking." He quickly held up a hand. "It's nothing to worry about." The others, excluding Fang Fang and Sasuke, didn't seem to believe him. "Really, I'm fine." He looked at Naruto, deciding to change the subject. "And you're ok, Naruto?"

"Yes," Naruto said. He was no longer tired. His body's reaction was a lot better than when he'd been under Older Sasuke's Tsukuyomi.

"This is a big difference," Yukari said. "Naruto couldn't separate from Kyuubi like this."

"I only learned how to do it recently," Naruto said.

"I still don't understand why I had to come with you," a voice said.

"Because Oba-chan said you had to," another voice said. "I'm your warden, remember? Wherever I go, you go." A tanned hand threw the door open and a familiar blond head appeared.

"Naruto?" Ruby asked.

"Hey!" RVNaruto said. "Your Headmaster called for us to come here quickly. Something about Clones or something?"

"Naruto!" Kurumu yelled. She glompled him. "It is good to see you again!"

"It is good to see you too, Kurumu," RVNaruto said.

"Hn," a voice grunted from behind RVNaruto.

"Teme!" RVNaruto yelled. "Get in here and properly introduce yourself!"

"Whatever," RVSasuke said, stepping into the room. He came to a stop next to RVNaruto, and he crossed his arms, glaring at everyone.

"What is he doing here?" Kurumu asked.

RVNaruto smiled, a hand going to scratch at the back of his neck. "Well, it's a long story."

"Just tell them I came back to Konoha after killing Madara," RVSasuke said.

"You killed Madara?" Naruto asked.

RVSasuke's eyes turned towards Naruto. "So it's true then. Another us has really appeared here. What are you? Clones?"

"We're from another world," Naruto said. "But that doesn't matter. You said you killed Madara?"

"Yes," RVSasuke said. "So what?"

"Why?" Naruto asked.

RVSasuke shrugged. "Because I wanted to."

"Teme," RVNaruto said. "You can just admit that you did it to protect me." He smiled, crossing his arms to make it clear that he was proud of himself. "He loves me."

"Dobe!" RVSasuke yelled, red tinting his cheeks. "They don't need to know that."

"But it's the truth," RVNaruto said.

"I'm confused," Tsukune said. "You tried to kill Naruto."

"If I really wanted the Dobe to be dead, he would be," RVSasuke said. "I was just acting like I was on Madara's side. Why would I go against what Aniki wanted?" Sasuke looked down at that since he had joined Madara and the Akatsuki to do just that. Itachi wanted to protect Konoha and Sasuke wanted to destroy it.

"You stabbed him!" Kurumu yelled.

"I knew that the Kyuubi would heal him," RVSasuke said.

"But…" Yukari tried to argue.

"Alright," RVNaruto clapped his hands. "That's enough. I already forgave Sasuke for his terrible decision making. I think finding out what is going on here is more important. Besides…" He grabbed RVSasuke and showed the collar around RVSasuke's neck. "This prevents him from using any Chakra. He can barely even activate his Sharingan. He is practically as deadly as a kitten."

"I'll show you how deadly this kitten can be," RVSasuke threatened.

RVNaruto chose to ignore him. "So based on the Chakra I'm sensing, you aren't Clones."

"He already told you that we're from another world," Sasuke spat, getting annoyed.

RVNaruto rolled his eyes. "I heard that, but I find it a little hard to believe." He glanced over at Kyu. "Kurama?"

"Yes," Kyu said.

"Wow!" RVNaruto walked over to Kyu, looking him up and down. "This is both weird and cool. I can tell you're Kurama since the one inside me feels similar. I guess this means they are telling the truth."

"Of course we are!" Naruto yelled. "Why would we lie?"

"I don't know," RVNaruto said. "Maybe to trick us into lowering our guard so you can kill us?" Sasuke looked at RVNaruto. He found this Naruto odd. Something was off about him. RVNaruto caught him staring. "What?"

"There is something off about you," Sasuke said. "How do we know you're really Naruto?"

RVNaruto lifted up his shirt to show off the seal on his stomach. "Is this enough proof?"

"Damn Kit!" Kyu said. "I like this sassy side of you."

RVSasuke growled. "Back off! He's mine!"

RVNaruto blushed. "T-teme!"

RVSasuke turned towards him. "What? It's the truth!"

"I'm confused," Fang Fang said, gaining everyone's attention. "They…" he motioned to RVNaruto and RVSasuke. "...are different from how you described them."

"Right," RVNaruto said. "I guess I have some explaining to do." He sat down on a desk. "After I got back to Konoha, things changed. You see, after I entered Four Tailed Mode, my body kind of shifted more into that of a Yoko. I think it was because I spent so much time being around Yoki. Please, when I meditated, I took in Yoki along with Nature Chakra and the two mixed. This has caused some… strange changes."

"He's become more feminine," RVSasuke said.

"Teme!" RVNaruto yelled. "They didn't need to know that!"

"How did that happen?" Naruto asked.

"I don't really know how to explain it," RVNaruto said.

"Basically, due to the mixing of Yoki and Nature Chakra, his DNA shifted," RVSasuke said. RVNaruto gave him an exasperated look. RVSasuke ignored it. "This shift mutated his Y-chromosome. Tsunade-sama or Sakura would be better at explaining it. And no, before you even ask, it does not mean that he'll become a woman. Though if he did, I would mind. He'd still be Naruto after all."

"That's so sweet," RVNaruto cried.

"Also, since the Kyuubi is female, Naruto's pregnant," RVSasuke said, shaking his head. "Mood swings."

"Female?" Kyu asked while Naruto, Kurumu, and Yukari yelled, "Pregnant?"

RVNaruto blushed. "I'm two months long." He smiled. "And that's why I was amazed at seeing a male version of Kurama."

"May I ask who the father is?" Moka asked. She had a feeling that she already knew the answer.

"It's mine," RVSasuke said proudly before suddenly glaring. "You got a problem with that?"

"I do," Kurumu said. "I don't think you are good enough for Naruto."

"Oh?" RVSasuke raised an eyebrow. "And you think you are?"

"Not me, but anyone else," Kurumu said. She turned towards RVNaruto. "What happened with Sakura?"

"Let's just say that a lot of stuff happened, ok?" RVNaruto said. It was clear that he was getting agitated.

"I think we need to go back to the original topic," Tsukune said. "We know that you two.." He motioned to Naruto and Sasuke. "... are just 'passing through.' And we know that the headmaster summoned you." This time he motioned towards RVNaruto and RVSasuke. "So I guess the real question is why."

"Probably to clear the air," RVNaruto said. "I don't think they are dangerous."

"We aren't," Naruto agreed.

"Well then," RVNaruto jumped down from the desk. "We should get back to Konoha. Sasuke is still on house arrest and I'd like to go rest. My feet are killing me."

"Do you want me to give you a massage when we get back?" RVSasuke asked.

RVNaruto's face lit up. "Yes please!" He hugged everyone including Naruto, Kyu, and Sasuke. "It was good to see all of you again. Make sure to stay in touch!" With a wave, he and RVSasuke were gone.

"That was… eventful," Fang Fang said. Everyone nodded in agreement at his statement. He turned towards Naruto and Sasuke. "So how long will the two… three of you be here?"

"Three days," Naruto answered. "And then we'll move on to the next world."

"The Headmaster says you can stay in one of the empty dorm rooms," Ruby said, petting the crow on her shoulder. "Tsukune can lead you there."

"That would be nice," Naruto said. Sasuke nodded in agreement.

"It is getting late," Tsukune said. "We have homework to do." He was suddenly glomped on by both Kurumu and Mizore.

"I can help you with your homework," Kurumu said.

"Not as much as I can," Mizore said.

"Tsukune's grades will drop if either one of you try to help him," Yukari said. "Tsukune, if you need help, I can help you!"

"I'm… uh… good," Tsukune said. "I need to show Naruto, Sasuke, and Kurama to the dorms."

Fang Fang used this opportunity to push the three girls away from Tsukune. He then wrapped an arm around Tsukune's. "Sorry ladies. But our dorm is for men only." He grinned. "Let's go, Tsukune." He began to drag him off. The girls pouted.

"I'll see you tomorrow!" Tsukune said, waving to the girls. Naruto also waved at them. Kurama yawned as he followed Naruto. Sasuke just grumbled as he followed after the other boys.

The hyperactive Dorm Leader showed Naruto, Kurama, and Sasuke to their rooms. The three didn't argue about the separate rooms. Kurama felt a bit strange not being closer to Naruto. He had gained some freedom in this form and he was tempted to push its limits. He chose to explore the campus. Naruto on the other hand pulled out a notebook. Itachi had gotten it for him. He had chosen to follow Sasuke's suggestion and start a journal. Words quickly filled up the pages until he was half way through the notebook. Sasuke was right. He did feel a little better. Sasuke on the other hand was relaxing in the next room over. He was trying to get used to being away from Naruto again, ignoring the strange pull he felt towards the blond. He didn't know the words to describe how he was feeling. All he knew was that his heart hurt a little. The three only joined back up to have dinner before separating again. Sleep didn't come easy to Naruto and Sasuke. Kurama ended up stripping down to sleep, missing his tails.
