Chapter 151 The True Dark Knight
I don't own Kamen Rider Ghost Or DC Super Hero Girls.
At school Shun was sitting on the stairs of the entrance as he looks at a newspaper as it talks about Batman.
"You know he's not what I expected." He talks to himself.
He expected Batman to be a lot cooler than what he has seen, maybe if he wasn't such a douche or trying to put down Babs.
"Well I wish there was a different Batman, I wouldn't be surprised theres another that would be a lot cooler." Shun said.
He goes forward since school was done for today, as he walks down the street someone was watching him from a distance and narrows his eyes.
Shun looks at his phone and his senses were telling him something.
"Well better make sure nothing wrong happens." He goes to a alley.
He then comes out as Kamen Rider Ghost and flies away to look around.
"Okay, they aren't that wrong so..." He dodges something and to his surprise it's a batarang but it's very different from Babs.
"What's the heck?" He said. "Is that guy back here?"
He then sees a hook grab his arm before he vanished. Ghost screams as he goes through a portal like the other times.
Ghost came out and landed on a metal floor. "Ow!"
He got up and saw the Batcave, but it was different from his world. Like a giant penny on the side and a big plane docked.
"Is this the batcave?" He goes forward. "Why would Batman bring me here? Unless it's not my Batman?"
He goes forward and sees a big computer staring at it.
"So this is where he types on his computer." He said.
Ghost then saw a glowing button and he presses on it. Then a hologram appeared of Batman with a suit that's different and he's more muscular.
"Wow." Ghost sais as this one was much cooler.
"It seems protocol has been activated." The hologram said as he takes the mask off revealing Bruce Wayne with short hair.
"Brunce Wayne?" Ghost said.
"If your hearing this I was compromised. I activated this one should something happen to me and the heroes. If the Bat family falls too you are the one to take the mantle."
"What?" Ghost got surprised.
"Oracle, Nightwing and Robin, they were my family. Tim, Dick Grayson, Jason and Barbara..." Batman said with the last part surprising Ghost again. "They were all my family. The one I could never replace, but the legacy of Batman in this world must continue, so I ask of you to take that mantle and become a Batman in your own way."
"Me, but that's more of Barbara's dream." Ghost said.
He knows the hologram can't talk but this is still surprising.
"I know this is more to ask but you can become him. Justice Doesn't Always Have To Come From The Darkness." it then stops.
The last line seems like Batman was talking to Ghost himself but that seems impossible.
He then saw a door open and he goes towards it before he got scanned and a blast forces him back to base.
"What the?!" Shun looks at himself.
He then saw a obstacle course and he understood.
"Batman wants me to do it like how he would."
He goes forward as arrows shoot from the walls and he jumps forward avoiding them, the floor shoot pillars up as he had to avoid them too.
"It's a good thing I trained outside of school." He said while jumping over another pillar.
Shun kept going and saw a big blade come down and he ducks before rolling on the sides avoiding spikes from the ground.
"Does he really need this to stop people from cheating?"
He then jumps forward to avoud many walls from crushing him. Shun looks up and sees a wall that seems to be for climbing with a mask on top of it.
"His mask."
Shun got up and stares at it, he looks around and sees no rope.
"This... This is to test ones fears."
(Insert why do we fall here)
Shun then saw words written on the wall. "Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up."
He looks up again and got determined, he goes towards the wall and grabs on to a few of the rocks, he starts to climb up slowly.
The more he does it the more he can feel many saying a chant to him, like for him to rise up.
Many bats came out making him flinch but he didn't stop, he kept going through them and he looks up and for a brief moment he could see a figure looking down at him.
Shun narrows his eyes trying to look but he kept going pushing through, the figure kept watching him as lightning strikes making a familiar bat figure with his cape flowing.
He managed to break through the swarm of bats and saw nobody there but theres a big jump to where the cowl was, he takes a deep breath getting ready. He charges forward and jumps to it.
Shun catches and he holds on to the edge, then a hand covered by a black glove grabs him surprising Shun. He got up and saw no one there and looks around but he saw he was on top.
"I did it." He said.
He holds it and stares at the mask, the legacy it has and saw how big Batman really is in this world compared to his. And why Barbara always looked up to him.
He puts it down as he can sense it before he uses his symbol on it, then the mask changes into a eyecon that was black and gray. The symbol was like that of Batman's mask with glowing eyes as the letter was just B.
Shun takes it and puts it on his driver.
EYE!
He pulls the lever.
KAIGAN! BATMAN! THE DARK KNIGHT! RISE UP! FEAR THE NIGHT!
A parka came out with the chest being Batman's suit with, the hood was like Batman's hood with the pointy ears, he has gloves that have spikes on the sides that are sharper than his version's. And it also has a cape.
It attaches to Shun forming the Ghost suit as the visor becomes like Batman's, it has glowing blue eyes with the Batman symbol proudly on his chest.
The cape moves as thunder strikes again shining down on him as he can feel the legend himself, and his legacy is now in his hands.
The hand from before touches his shoulder. "Your now Batman."
Ghost didn't need to look to know who it was. He glides down and goes to the cave through the same entrance.
He goes to the computer and sees a device that could bring him back home.
"Bruce, you brought me to this world, to carry on your legacy. I will make you proud, to surpass even the one that's from my own world." Ghost said.
He takes the device and returns back home as the legend may rest in peace. The true was at his side and he will make him proud.
He arrives back at his room and he saw a note on the device.
"When I put on the cowl I became a symbol. But I bever stopped being Bruce Wayne, citizen of Gotham. Remember that we are all handed adversity in our lives. No-one's journey is easy. It's how we handle that, it's how we help others that makes us unique. That is what the Batman will always stand for."
Shun smiles and looks out a window. "Bruce, goodbye you will be missed but never forgotten. As you helped many back home and outside of it as well."
Note: This chapter is my tribute to Kevin Conroy, I know it might be late but after everything that has happened, I wanted it to be special. Than just Shun fighting some enemy, like I wanted him to prove he can be Batman. The visor isn't just the Batman symbol as the eyes are important for Batman to me.
